6941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIcoin Manipulation on: February 12, 2018, 06:46:00 PM
I am suspecting that Crypto Whales are manipulating Bitcoin price this early year because they want to get more Bitcoin before it will take off to the moon again.
These Crypto Whales had been around since Bitcoin rises like a skyrocket last year and this early days of the year seems they just want to drive Bitcoin to the ground because when the Crypto Market recovers they will earn Millions and Billions Crypto worth of assets in the next few months.

How you guys think about this roller-coaster ride of Crypto Market this early year?
Do really Crypto Whales are manipulating everything behind our back?

As much as we hate them, they are really here to stay and stay for good. We already suspected they have their hands on this sudden fall and this roller coaster ride since the beginning of the month.

And we know its fraudulent but no authority can stop them because its a free market. The best thing to do is to ride with them, buying and accumulating bitcoin at dips and selling it at top price to take profits and then re-buy.

If you can't beat them, join them

But as far as identifying who's who behind our backs manipulatng, is another question.
6942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are the Winklevoss twins selling on: February 12, 2018, 06:10:03 PM
I mean, probably not all of their stash but if i was in their position I'd sure as hell be getting some real dollars in the bank.

I'm not sure that those guys are selling because we all know that addresses doesn't have names. If you know their address then you can track it yourself and check whether they are selling or not.

However, I presumed that they wouldn't because they doesn't really need millions or dollars because they are already millionaires. I mean, its doesn't make sense because they know that bitcoin can potential grow, they even petition to the SEC to have a second review on Bitcoin's ETF right? So for me, they are not selling at this point.
6943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOL: Crypto mining 2013 vs. Crypto mining 2018 on: February 12, 2018, 12:31:23 AM
So, in short, they connected a usually air-gapped top secret supercomputer involved in Russia's nuclear weapon program to the internet, and hoped no one would notice. For rocket/nuclear scientists, they are not very smart. Hahaha.

Wonder what their hashrate was...
They must be dumb for connecting such big computer to the internet... Smiley
They thought they'll just mine cryptos unnoticed Cheesy After all, we are living in a very small world.

What those guys thinks? Everything that is connected to the Internet is being monitored by the Russia government. So they were caught red handed with their pants down.

So, in short, they connected a usually air-gapped top secret supercomputer involved in Russia's nuclear weapon program to the internet, and hoped no one would notice. For rocket/nuclear scientists, they are not very smart. Hahaha.

Wonder what their hashrate was...

So that begs me to question, why the hell did they do that? Are they really scientist or engineers that they think they can get away without anyone noticing it? It make 0 sense to me. I guess they are not getting paid well by the government that they needed a sideline to make money out of cryptos'. Grin
6944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get out while i can on: February 11, 2018, 11:55:58 PM
Really worried about the price of bitcoin in teh last week particularly,
The senate meeting is in 2 hours about possibly adding regulations to bitcoin in teh US,
Should I just sell before the meeting incase the price really fall?
Any advise, if they decide to add regulation any speculation of the price drop?
Thanks in advance Shocked

The US Senate Hearing turns out to be a very positive for the market as we have recovered to $8K already. I guess I'm late to advise you but I hope you didn't dump your coins and continue to hodl as of this very moment.

We have been in a very tumultuous months following the big spike at $19K. We have lost so much around 60% already that why we have that feeling that you would rather sell everything instead of losing all.

I hope that this will be a lessons for you, never ever panic and just continue to hodl because it will be just a matter of time before we can all bounce back from this crisis.
6945  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-11] Russian Engineers Arrested for Using Nuclear Weapons Facility to .. on: February 11, 2018, 11:27:05 PM
Who's really the culprit? Engineers or Scientist?

If want initially reported  that those found are Scientist? That's why I can't really seems to find what's the logic behind them mining bitcoin? Are they not well paid by the Russian Government?

And now Engineers? Again, it begs that question are they greedy or just wanting to earn more because they are not getting paid by Government?

Regardless, this is not the proper way to conduct because you are in a safe facility and you are trusted and according to the news they are caught red handed. What do you expect the government should do to them?
6946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC right now on: February 10, 2018, 10:55:14 PM
Waiting.
For the $19,000 again.  Grin
I am sure it can. Once bitcoin reaches a price that is unpredictable by anyone then it goes back there in some time.
But I like this right now. Just slow and steady which gave me more reason to think if I should buy more to add up in my account.

I would love to see $20K, unfortunately, it will be a surmountable to even break the $10K barrier right now. There's still some skeptics. There's a lot of speculation going around that after the Chinese New Year, it will be another boom for us. Let's see how it gets though, but again, I would be so obsesses with the price. As long as there are money flowing, I will be good with that.

I can see the FUD's have already been minimized also or are they already tired? Maybe those who pays them have no funds anymore.
It could be a good rise by next month and I want to see that price back before the year end.

Don't spoke too soon, they might just taking their sweet time and I'm sure that they will create another FUD when bitcoin is enjoying a sudden spike in price. With that said, we need to be remain cautious and to take everything with a grain of salt. Used our better judgement and common sense. And please don't panic sell.  Smiley
6947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: February 10, 2018, 10:24:03 PM
Again, we should not be obsessed about $20K anymore because it looks like the market is the true price of bitcoin and not overblown specially during the December peak. Those who have bought at the peak price rally got burned along the way that's why we are going to have a hard time reaching it again.

Long term though its really possible. Maybe in the 2nd quarter of this year. But this month or the next month will be another trying times for us. We even can't sustained the rally of today, bitcoin is down after several days of getting green.

I would love to see it touches $20K, but I will not be that pre-occupied with that thoughts. Just to get to $10K will be good in my portfolio.
6948  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: February 10, 2018, 10:09:00 PM
Out of curiosity, I wanted to know who Satoshi is.

But other than that, I'm fine whether he is dead or where he is right now. We just all celebrate his inventions. He keeps himself anonymous just like his bitcoin so I guess if he is alive now he won't be surfacing.

I also think that Satoshi, is not just one person, but a group of individual who contributed to this new technology. But please refrain from believing those person/s who claim to be Satoshi himself, They are just doing it for the sake of publicity.

As far as my guess, I really thought that as a individual, Hal Finney was a likely candidate, unfortunately, Hal did past away and I still consider him one of the contributor to this revolution that we all have been a part of. He/They are all Legends, AFAIK.
6949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price - is it a "W" or a breakthrough? on: February 10, 2018, 09:35:03 PM
I thought that we are out of the woods already - for the last 2 days we have really nice gains.
But then again, today it wasn't pretty at all and I am afraid that a potential bearish stance could send bitcoin down to the low $5k.
Then we will see possible rebound - recently I am getting a headache trying to predict the price of BTC.

Yes, I also thought that the increase which is not that dramatic to begin with was sustainable at least to the $9K barrier. However, when I check the price today, its looks like we are in a read again.

I'm not that technical anyways, but I love reading those analysis from our members here and I love to see people sharing their analysis as to where and when the price is gong to move.

As for me, I wanted to see the $9K barrier to be broken and maybe, just maybe we can all say that we are out of the woods and breathe a sigh of relief.

But if the market goes down, no worry here, perfect buying opportunity and we can all stack up our wallets once again for a good long term hodl.
6950  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-08]The Tax Authority of Lithuania Closes Bitcoin ATMs in Shopping Mall on: February 10, 2018, 09:00:46 PM
Ehem. I thought that Lithuania is confiscating the ATM because of some suspicious. I think this is a good news. The authorities just wanted to set up everything and make it 'legal' in a sense to operate the ATM. Probably some business permit or something. Nothing to worry here. No crackdowns as of yet in the country.

At first, i was suprised since Lithuania is know for good eviroment for block chain start ups and crypto projects in general.
But I believe that this does not represent the policy of whole country but only problems with the tax collection division, nothing to be afraid of Smiley

My thoughts exactly. Like I said, probably some formally like documentations for tax purposes, business permit to operated. Yes the country is on the neutral grounds as far as crypto and I hope that they will stay that way.

Is that the coins that you are referring to?

I'm making some few digs in the forum:

Looks like this is not a new coin as I suspected,

PoS Mining Function on January 31. So I think its now possible to mined this coin.

I guess OP you need to dig more if you are really interested on mining hcash. Looks like there's potential in this coin. My research only took me 5-10 minutes. Goodluck to you dude.
6953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is often compared to Tulip Mania ? on: February 10, 2018, 08:07:39 PM
Bitcoin is a very innovative tech, yet some top level economists still think it's similar to Tulip Mania. What's wrong?

Because the tulip mania was the first ever bubble in the history. And it became the benchmark for everything the economist think of a rapid increase in price followed by a crash downward trend. The uptrend is driven by speculation and irrational behavior of the market. Just like what happen to dotcom bubble back in the last 90's to early 00's.

But you have to think that there are some serious flaws in the argument. Bitcoin has limited supply as compare to the Tulip mania back then, when everyone can literally have harvest their own tulip in their backyard. That's how the bubble burst because the supply is unlimited as compare to bitcoin which has only 21 millions coins.
6954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: February 10, 2018, 07:42:57 PM
Technically, its possible that 0 price can be attained. However, I don't think that we are going to see that price because of law of supply and demand. Bitcoin because so limited has its perked. The price can grow overtime because more and more people are going to demand, but with less supply the price could literally skyrocketed as the supply is getting smaller.

Thats only a speculation, but it doesn't mean that the price of bitcoin is going to zero, same as the other cryptocurrency, because we have a lot of user and a lot of investors. If many investor will invest in bitcoin no one could say that bitcoin price is going to zero. It might be decreasing its value but if you keep on believing that bitcoin will bot be going to 0, you should keep on thinking positively about the price of bitcoin and recover again.

Yes, bitcoin and other crypto has gained the trust and confidence of the community, which means that it has hard core fan based, who are going to buy it because they speculate that it will grow overtime. So I really don't think that bitcoin will go to 0.
6955  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Stolen Bitcoin on: February 07, 2018, 10:58:15 PM
Hi,

I am trying to find a company / Bounty Hunter to recover some BTC I had stolen.

Has anyone had any dealing with    www.darkwebsolutions.com  Huh?

I have been in contact with them and they are confident that they can get my BTC back, however they want $500 up front.

Naturally I am suspicious. Why not just include it in the 10% fee they take from the amount recovered.

Any help or alternative suggestions most welcome.

Don't fall for this trap, confident that they can get back your bitcoin? How? What process?

You know that bitcoin address has no name right? If the one who stole your bitcoin used a mixing services then I doubt that you can recover it. Although there is blockchain analysis, criminals is one step further, they are not that dumb to just expose themselves in plain sight.

So I advice you to not pay them upfront and do their thing and just tell them to include it to the 10% fee. I'm not sure though if they are trusted on the first place.

How much did you lost though?
6956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PLEASE LET ENCOURAGE THE MARKET BY START BUYING AND STOP SELLING: on: February 07, 2018, 10:00:39 PM
The governments is now happy because our leaders has learned to controls cryptocoins market by creating panic through using regulations to attacked bitcoin and blockchain technology.
I think the only way we can proof to governments that bitcoin is decentralized and governments cannot control it  like our current financial system is to buy and hold our coins. When you sell outside your immediate need you are are helping governments to fight bitcoin!

As I have said in the previous thread, government may have a hand on the current situations, regulations or FUD. But I don't think that they really wanted to create panic to buy it, and those attacks will only be short lived. Of course at this time the best thing to do is really just Hold and not Sell.

We don't need to fight government, we are going to survived from all of turbulence. As much as they want to control it, they can't because we all know that crypto is decentralized in nature. And crypto is here to stay for good, whether they like it or not.
6957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: governments are the biggest whales in this market ? on: February 07, 2018, 09:42:55 PM
Government & banks understand they could defeat something that is decentralised. Therefore, they went to this way: they created FUD, limiting access for people who buying crypto so that they have no /less competitors later when Crypto's price go to bottom later. That way, government & Banks could buy them all , leaving less coins for us.

I think its pretty obvious that this tactics was made famous by Jamie Dimon himself, he continues to attack bitcoin when there was so much FUD coming from China, but from behind they bought tons of bitcoin and sold them with the price recovered. But we all know that they can't really defeat crypto. The more negative things they say against it, the more people becomes curious and bought it.

But I don't think that they can buy everything here. One way or another there's some equal distribution of bitcoins and crypto's globally. So maybe they have investing on it secretly but I doubt that they want it everything for themselves.
6958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we reached the bottom? on: February 07, 2018, 08:58:55 PM
I think Yes,But don't be confident enough. Bitcoin prices is being manipulated so hold on your coins. There's a News in the U.S Senate and they talking about bitcoin futures and i think it will go throught 100k this year Smiley
Hope to have a positive result of what the US proposal towards crypto, even it won't reach into $100k at least we've seen any indication of US support towards crypto. With that, it could be a mirror for other big countries and placing priority on crypto discussion for their programs. Exactly, cryptocurrency needs full support from the community for it will grow and spread globally that's why we need them.

I think it really did have a positive impact about the price because after the US hearing, the price suddenly jumps and its fluctuating between $8K-$87xx. Of course everyone's eye is on the US and after the hearing, it looks like this could be a major influence on a global scale. They didn't think the crypto is so disruptive hence their stance.  They expresses optimism about blockchain. At least we heard someone who's authority cannot be underpinned such as Clayton and Giancarlo.

This is the kind of positive news that we need to hear. We have been trap in this winter crypto which I felt been longer as expected. I do hope that we are going to bounce back again and see bitcoin flourished once again.
6959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: February 06, 2018, 10:20:59 PM
bitcoin price now is under 7000 it will go under 5000 it is real or FUD..who is manipulate this market...
It is absolutely real as i have heard this from many of the experts and from my friends too who are involved in crypto from years. There are predictions that once the bitcoin reaches 5000$ their would be a stability in market and than everybody can expect the major spike which will last for some time.
Well, look at the coinmarketcap.com i see all green today, is this the sign that Bitcoin is back? Well, i'd like to believe it that way because it is the best feeling to look at your blockfolio to turn green again. I hope it will continue until to rise until march or more months, i guess those whales are back again. I hope it will continue until $10k or $20k at this year.

Bitcoin is back for the time being. Actually all coins are green and it has something to do with the Senate Hearing on Bitcoin which turns to be positive on our side. So for now we step aside the idea that bitcoin can go under $5K. We have already build momentum for the outcome of the Senate Hearing. Whales are definitely swimming again, so we need to ride with them.

But for all intent that if ever the price goes below $6K, it will be really time to stack up and bring loads of bitcoin. We all love to store more bitcoins in our wallet and just hold on it for as long as we can.
6960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin over? on: February 06, 2018, 09:51:47 PM
Its over, dead, dying.... Some of the words we always hear when bitcoin's price is nose diving. Such pity that they don't understand that bitcoin has been down multiple times throughout its short history, but able to bounce back with vengeance. If you think that its gonna be over, think again. Because the price is going back up so how can you say conclude that we are all doom?

Bitcoin price is getting down just like ski slop!
Is bitcoin over? do you think bitcoin will recover their price?
I'm afraid, I lost my everything almost 2million....

I think that to recover, but not immediately, gradually. Smiley

I guess you wanted bitcoin to recover slowly. Yes, I understand that and I also wanted to see that way. We don't want to see another mad rush similar to what we witness last December. It peaked at almost $20K but what follows is a nightmare to all of us. We wanted a steady growth and not a bubble per se.
