6962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Satoshi, From Which National Money Are More Valuable? on: September 06, 2019, 04:07:44 AM
 Cheesy Grin Copy and Paste.

You should have checked for other countries like Argentina and all South Asian countries except India.  I am sure there are more countries in this region that could have been added to the list and a few African countries too.

This list does not make any sense, what were you trying to accomplish with this list? 1 Satoshi does not solve the cost of living in these countries. With the declining economy, the cost of living in these countries has already touched the moon.

The comparison is a waste of time.
6963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Spen Bitcoins? Full List. on: September 06, 2019, 03:46:07 AM
WOW!

That is a big list, never knew so many companies have already started accepting Bitcoin. Good to see some big names in the list. Expecting much more big companies to join the list in the future.

Did read a few comments where they gave names of a few more companies accepting Bitcoin. I cannot call this as adoption, it is more like acceptance to adoption. It can be called Adoption when a few of these companies actually disclose the amount of transactions that were done using Bitcoin.
6964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammer caught tortured and killed. on: September 06, 2019, 03:11:07 AM
I do not think such an action was needed at all. If they had caught the scammer they should have handed him over to the police and the law would have taken action.

The level of tolerance in our society has been going down gravely. Every day we read and see such inhuman crimes being committed in the name of justice. People tend to forget that they are not animals and as human beings, we have to obey and follow laws that have been created by us.

What did they accomplish? they themselves are now criminals.
6965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: September 06, 2019, 03:01:14 AM
Banks do not fear Bitcoin but fear the technology that runs it.

Bitcoin is supposed to work like a payment system but is too slow to compete with the Banking payment system. It is now considered more as an asset/commodity than a payment system. Assets/commodities are controlled and owned by Banks, If regulation comes into existence than the Banks will be able to control and own Bitcoin as they did for Gold.

So my friend, Banks never feared Bitcoin but, we as a community do fear Banks.

6966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 76% of dark market using Bitcoin on: September 01, 2019, 07:50:06 AM
Bitcoin is popular because even the dark market knows that it will have the highest fiat value than any other crypto in the near future. That gives me another reason to HODL my Bitcoin.

Interestingly Privacy coin only involves 4% of the total transaction. I guess they also do not believe in any other currency than Bitcoin.
6967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suspected Bitcoin mining scam on: September 01, 2019, 07:34:46 AM
Forget whatever amount that you have paid to this Scammer and start again if possible after doing research on how to mine Cryptocurrency.

What you can do is report this incident to Instagram, so others like you do not fall prey to this guy.

Just to be more specific - Neve ever believes in easy money and fast money in cryptocurrency. Whoever offers you that is a scammer.
6968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: September 01, 2019, 07:28:45 AM
What has this led to?

Bitcoin was made to replace fiat currency and become the best payment network.

Now we are comparing it with Gold and discussing whether it can replace Gold. What a Big Joke!

Bitcoin is not a commodity it is a digital currency that is meant to overcome the hurdles of Fiat currency. It would be rather wrong to compare it with Gold.

6969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: September 01, 2019, 04:23:16 AM
I doubt this will ever happen.

I have heard the news of China planning to start its own digital currency. If those new are correct, they will launch it by November this year.

If a country wants to launch its own cryptocurrency, why will it then accept Bitcoin as a currency? I think they will again Ban Bitcoin after November.
6970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shopify is now supporting Bitcoin Lightning Payment on: September 01, 2019, 04:02:44 AM
For those users of Shopify here, they are now supporting LN thru OpenNode.

https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1166807416165601286

https://www.opennode.co/blog/how-to-accept-bitcoin-shopify-extension/

However, you need to read about this, OpenNode requires KYC now!.

Mass adoption or not?

KYC!  Grin That is control.

Mass adoption! I think it is more like an Identity check and why the heck I will use my Bitcoin to buy anything online. I better keep it in my wallet till it reaches moon.
6971  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the official binance site? on: September 01, 2019, 03:46:22 AM
Always check the complete address with the SSL certificate.

Binance - https://binance.com

Binance Dex - https://binance.org

It is also a good idea if you can add an extension to your web browser that keeps you safe from phishing websites. I use Netcraft. It is can be added to both chrome and brave browser. I also prefer the brave browser more than chrome to safeguard my browsing experience.
6972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake satoshi :) on: August 27, 2019, 02:23:13 PM
Scammers always get busted.
This was bound to happen to him. Such big lies and trying to own something that you do not own will always result being labeled as a Scam. Now, what happens to those who believed him and invested in his fake project?

Feel sorry for Bitcoin SV community.
6973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 25, 2019, 07:25:24 AM
After Binance the next best exchange as per my experience is Kucoin. I have been using them for the past one and a half years now and have never faced any problem. The number of pairs is more than Binance and you will find most of the good Altcoins trading there.

I have been also using Binance dex and certainly been amazed by the level of security that has been added by Binance. I think it is another exchange that might achieve the number one position because of its launchpad.
6974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are offering Negative interest rates! will this help BTC on: August 25, 2019, 05:42:27 AM
Wow!
These countries have a surplus amount of reserve cash and that might be one of the reasons they are giving a negative interest rate. Good opportunity for anyone to invest in Bitcoin or the local stock market. I say, its a great opportunity for a fund manager to create funds that are investing in the third world country.

That is why there are lots of Bitcoin Investors based in these countries. Any country that has got an economy issue, a citizen from those countries will invest in Bitcoin.
6975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: August 24, 2019, 12:08:12 PM
Such strange claims have been around for quite some time now. Everyone knows those who are claiming that they are the founder of Bitcoin can never prove it as due to some strange event they either lose their private key or hard drive.

I feel sorry for these guys, they have some kind of psychological disorder. Most of them are hungry for media attention and some of them have become rich by claiming to become the founder of Bitcoin.

We as a community are a fool to follow them and listen to their stories.

6977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymity VS tracing transactions. on: August 24, 2019, 03:46:24 AM
We love Bitcoin over Fiat because it provides to a certain extent anonymous transaction. Therefore I will always favor anonymity. Tracing transaction is for FIAT transaction and that is what the government wants.

Just read a few minutes back that Microsoft has already launched a software that will remove the anonymity part of cryptocurrency. With this product, the governments will be benefited and those who are looking to trace those stolen Bitcoin.

6978  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SportBet.one - decentralized sports-betting platform ⚽️ on: August 23, 2019, 02:42:43 PM
AWESOME!

I checked the website it is very good and has a professional look. I am also planning to register and buy some SBET token to bet on cricket.

I was wondering whether you guys are planning or have any kind of promotion planned on BTT. Is there any affiliate opportunities available? As did not find any link on the website.

If there are any plans to promote the website then I would love to be a part of it.
6979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Satoshi Actually Lost His Private Keys on: August 23, 2019, 10:31:50 AM
I am not saying that I believe his story what so ever. Lets say Satoshi Nakamoto DID really lose his keys due to a freakish accident. Would there be any way he could actually prove himself.

If Satoshi was to log into the Satoshi Account on this forumn and say I lost all of my Bitcoin keys, would anyone believe him?

Would a post here be enough proof?

If THE Satoshi logged in after almost 10 years of being Non Active and said word for word what the Newest Satoshi Scammer is saying but said it on this forumn would the community believe him, or would everyone just think his founder account had been compromised? I am curiouse on everyones thoughts on the subject. If from a previouse satoshi acct he said the same thing. I feel I would kind of trust him...

I doubt he will lose his private key.

Since you are asking a hypothetical question, then let me assume if he looses his private key I will still not believe him if by anyways he is able to login to his BTT account. There only one way and that is through the private key.

I doubt he will lose it after all he is the creator of Bitcoin..
6980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin growing Dominance on the Crypto space on: August 23, 2019, 06:48:20 AM
My understanding of Bitcoin growing dominance in the market-

1.The higher the dominance the higher chance of a Bull run.
2.The higher the dominance the more Alts bleed.

This is what I have understood. Dominance also means investors/traders are more inclined towards Bitcoin. This can also become a Bull trap, as you never know what might happen next in the crypto universe.
