Oh thanks. Is it automated or will SirArthur have to do every one manually? I'd like to get my initial deposit back, but I don't want to bother him for three coins, lol.

Running a 1.5yo laptop 24/7 and my new i7 about 15hr/day since the 10th I have generated no coins. I did however turn 3BC into 29BC at the bit casino, so it's not all day luck for me.

How does withdrawing work? The withdraw page does not let me put in my address. It says "Choose BitCoin Address" and has a drop down menu that is blank.

Is it true that the difficulty can be changed with a patch accepted by 50% of nodes? Doesn't this mean that an attacker only needs to set up a bunch of nodes and not actually have a majority of cpu power? How hard would it be to do an attack like that? What does it take to have a node? A 2880 bps modem and a Pentium 386? Can a computer hold multiple nodes?

Can you elaborate Insti?

giulio, if you send me PayPal and I send you BitCoin nobody but me knows that you have BitCoin.

Then when you buy you don't necessarily even have to tell your merchant who you are. On top of that the merchant can't prove to anyone else that you paid for X item. You have deniability when it shows up at your door since you didn't have to prove to him who you were.

It isn't a magic cloak, but used correctly it's a lot better than most payment systems. And you don't have to buy them with PayPal, you can mow your neighbors lawn, etc.

My deposit went through. It might be a good idea to not have a minimum if you want people with very few coins to try it out. I'm going to buy some soon, but I've only been able to get 5 free coins from the faucet. My two newish computers haven't generated anything in 3 days.

I think you might want to check the blackjack code. The number it calls and the number it lights up are not the same. And I can't tell which is the real number either. I'm pretty sure it is ignoring my column bets too. The variable slot worked well though.

Will deposits be automated in the future?

I would also like to buy some bitcoins. I will have PayPal funds available in a few days. I have Poker Stars funds available immediately.

I sent 3 bitcoins and an email about 20 hours ago and haven't heard anything. I realize something may have gone wrong somewhere or you may be busy. Just posting here to increase my chances of gambling it up tonight.

I play PokerStars. I should be getting my first coins any day now. I would like to buy coins and sell PS money also, so I guess we aren't fit trading partners. I bet if you go to twoplustwo.com you can find some broke players who will generate if you promise poker money, you'll have to wait though.

Someone who had a lot of coins probably wouldn't want to do things that might make people flee the system. That doesn't rule out mindlessly malicious attacks though.
