6961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Smart Contracts? on: August 16, 2017, 01:42:49 PM
Is there any info on the development of Smart Contracts for Waves?

I have looked all over but only find a few people saying they are in the design phase but no word from Waves?  Huh
a lot of projects are trying to develop the smart contract, that already made by the ethereum foundation. And i know that how really useful the smartcontract for a lot of the technology right now.
I meant related to building the digital economic.
6962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 15, 2017, 05:58:47 AM
I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now
I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too
But I really like this
It's kinda raw somehow

Beside bitcoin, altcoin is used as a way to make a profit, even, altcoin is commonly used by the change in its value. I also use dog altcoin for this job.
Altcoin actually exist for flipping on its main purpose, following the ICO to get few percents additional coins, and sell it when the price is high. Peolpe often don't give a shit about what'll happen to the project but now it's all changed. Many people are investing based on their interests to the project. not only a way to make a profit but still it's the main purpose.
6963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: August 15, 2017, 05:32:32 AM
For me, Ethereum is not Bitcoin's threat at the moment. I think in the Cryptocurrency market all altcoins are a threat to Bitcoin because all altcoin is heavily dependent on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is heavily dependent on altcoin, so Ethereum is just Bitcoin's rival.
I agree with you, Ethereum at this time is not a threat to Bitcoin, but NEO is altcoin will certainly threaten Bitcoin in the future as this is the altcoin of China and many investors in the world buy this altcoin
Any reason behind this?
I know ETH have the second biggest marketcap but NEO is still below ETH and that's why it's still not a threat for bitcoin, even ETH itself is not a "big" threat for bitcoin.
I know the time may come for altcoin to take over bitcoin's position but why NEO?
6964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: you are NOT a Bitcoiner - if you buy or watch ICOS on: August 15, 2017, 12:54:48 AM
Yeah I'm still saying it and I'll keep saying it, we're here on Bitcointalk but most of the folks aren't Bitcoiners

They're just profit-fanatics
That's the fact and that's what make us here, we're all fanatics of profit. People who just say that they're purely supporting bitcoin is a pure hypocrite while deep in heart they're expecting to get instant profit like what people have done before through the rise of bitcoin price and any alts.
6965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest altcoin regret? on: August 14, 2017, 08:52:28 AM
I had 21 ETH that I had bought when it was about $7. When the price went up to $50 and held there for a while I doubted it would surge much more so I sold all 21. If only I had known the value of HODL...

I also had a ton of $4 LTC at one time and shifted it all back into BTC because I didn't think it would ever go over $5.

I know these aren't "Bitcoin Pizza" size mistakes, but it still sucks looking back. That's a few extra grand I could have had to gamble away on Bittrex Wink
Stratis and ethereum ,i remember i have an intention to exchange all of my iconomi token to the ethereum and that gets around 258 ethereum but i don't do that. that my biggest lost every, But iconomi already done a great job right now.
6966  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone who bought coin under $18,000 BTC, will look like a genius soon on: August 14, 2017, 04:41:17 AM
Wait till this really starts to go up we will all look like genius.
I bought bitcoin under $2000. And i was a genius.  Cool but this make the people curious about when is the segwit will be released? that was the main point. looks we are in the correction right now and the bitcoin will be decrease again.
6967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Biggest Misconception About Cryptocurrency on: August 14, 2017, 03:09:22 AM
Quote
The biggest misconception about cryptocurrency is that it’s just a passing trend, which is an emotional reaction to the paradigm shift that’s ultimately taking place. Cryptocurrency is here to stay – and as every minute passes, hundreds of thousands of new users are adopting it."

 - Ron Chernesky, CEO of investFeed

I think Ron has hit the point in here. Indeed, people are now starting to realize that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general is already here and it has no plan to get dead or go away soon. I am sure that many people are quite apprehensive about Bitcoin and that can be normal because Bitcoin is something still new and it can take for people to adopt and thrive. Cryptocurrency has finally arrived and those in the forefront would reap most of the benefits resulting into the use of Bitcoin and other alts.
My question, where are from the hundreds of thousands of new users come to adopt the crypto? that means the adoption will significantly growth a lot. But you must see there are some dead or zombie altcoin. which prove the crypto can go away.
6968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the nexte NEO on: August 14, 2017, 12:13:39 AM
SNM is currently cheap and could reach prices of $1-1,2 by the end of the year if it traces Golem, which is a similar but 6 months older project. Since SONM appears to be focused on actual development they could even outperform GNT if they reach their roadmap milestones in time, which Golem failed to do.
Hey, are you know the different between the snm project and doge coin? SNM just a fail joke coi n and doge is the successful joke coin. i will not believe the sonm token will worth a dollar for each coin in the future.
The dev is very incompetence to manage the project.
6969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Btc\eth trade! on: August 14, 2017, 12:09:42 AM
Yes i am on bittrex too! So shapeshift is more expensive right?
Shapeshift just exchange site and that was not a trading site, you must understand about the different behind the exchange site only and trading sites.
You made a wrong way to trade your amount in the shapeshift. Just use it to convert your amount into the fiat or something that related to the shapeshift's service.
6970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am now almost a billionaire because of Vitalik on: August 13, 2017, 11:45:49 PM
OP just wanted to share his success but not able to tell the full story behind his success. It is only thing is having faith and holding some coins for long time and then get the price what you were hopping. So congratulation on achieving what target you were believing it.
I'd like to call that a joke by OP. But i will believe if the op has some thousands worth of ethereum until right now. eh... but at least OP must have amounts of ethereum like this address.
https://etherscan.io/address/0x00A651D43B6e209F5Ada45A35F92EFC0De3A5184

It's not an ico address.
6971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now a MILLIONAIRE because of NEO. on: August 12, 2017, 11:09:37 PM
I bought in early, and kept dollar-cost-averaging along the way. I now around 35,000 NEO which are generating me about .5 GAS per hour. With NEO, and the GAS making me free money 24hrs/day, I can essentially quit my job now, as income from GAS alone could pay my bills in my Country. Cool
Personally I bought 130000 NEO months ago. I'm more MILLIONAIRE than you. 35000 are nothing.
Nice troll, looks everybody gonna be a crazy due to not invest in the neo at the price of the coin is very cheap. OP must learn more before try to publish the troll screenshoot into the public readers or audience.
I've around 3000 neo and i'm not a millionaire.  Tongue
6972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's plan a collective coin to invest in on: August 12, 2017, 11:04:57 PM
There is no way this is going to work, putting in such huge buy wall will make a shit coin more valauble and thier is no way for you to prevent anyone from taking profit early since the fund is not been managed by someone
That just like give your money to the shitcoin holders, so they can leave from there and we will be trapped in there. I hope everyone must understand to not invest in the shitcoin with unknown development.
Why choose the shitcoin if there are some better coin.  Roll Eyes
6973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves for pre-ICO -> Ethereum for ICO? on: August 12, 2017, 11:02:17 PM
Hey guys,
I and my team are planning to launch a pre-ICO and ICO after that. I know that most ICOs these days are held on Ethereum, but we do not have resources to code or pay for coding a  smart-contract. So I was thinking about launching pre-ICO at Waves, because it doesn't need smart contract development; we could just issue tokens and sell them at Waves DEX exchange.
And once we get some funding during pre-ICO, we can hire a coder to code a smart contract and hold actual ICO at Ethereum. What do you think about it? Or will it it better to hold both pre-ICO and ICO at Waves in this case?

Thanks in advance.
Too many the project based on the ethereum platform, you must try to make the different that it just try to use another platform of ethereum such as waves. that will be a good choice for you. Just try to hold both of the pre-ico and ico in waves.
6974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next Coin Like $NEO on: August 09, 2017, 02:01:04 PM
Omisego, no competiton.

I agree with this. OMG has so many things coming up -- the future seems bright for this coin. Very bright.

OMG is the prior promising project, But there are some project that has the future bright such as waves, and some new coin such as populous which already traded in the multiple ico price.
But i think populous casn be considered in the same place with omg.
6975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: In 13 hours Bitcoin Cash mining more profitable than Bitcoin !!FLIPPENING WARN!! on: August 09, 2017, 01:44:43 PM
Another people coming to shilling the bitcoin cash, Go your kitchen and take some orange juices. Bitcoin cash just another altcoin , you must not do that as far as i know to get the hype for bitcoincash itself. Or you already trapped by bitcoin cash at $500++++?Huh That was like a joke.
6976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum price reach up to $ 2000? Any Grounds for this forecast on: August 09, 2017, 01:39:30 PM
i hope not true accident
i hope maximum ETH price only 1000 dollar, if incraese very high, i think can problem about high sending fee
and etherum token smart contract user can leave and use another platform
You don't understand how the ethereum system works. Or you can see bitcoin as an example for you to believe you will not pay a lot of money just for send your ethereum to another people. There are plenties incoming update for the ethereum network which prevent the network bloated.
6977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICONOMI [ICN] Speculation on: August 03, 2017, 10:35:52 PM
Any opinion about this coin???
Iconomi will be releasing the more feature for its service or platform. I think there is a reason for the price of each iconomi token will over the current price. I remember the stratis token and iconomi has the same chance to grow like that. No doubt because i was holding around 8k iconomi token in my wallet.  Cool Cool Cool Cool
6978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH surpass BTC? on: August 02, 2017, 12:19:39 PM
Is it possible that BCH can surpass BTC value? Now BCH $489 (75% more than yesterday)
Never, Please read the more news about BCC. Because you are not able to send or receive your bch from another address right now. Those excange site already traded the bch has the users that they were keeping their bitcoin in its exchange site. The people have the bitcoin cash amount in the wallet can't dump it in the exchange site.
6979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just invested in DIMCOIN ICO on: August 01, 2017, 11:20:56 PM
I just invested in DIMCOIN ICO and I think I have made the best investment move.
Sorry, but what makes you believe with its project and put your money on it? It doesn't look good for me. There is a thread that already suspected the dim coin. But honestly the idea looks crap for me.
I can consider dim project as a good project to invest .
6980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC is now BCH? on: August 01, 2017, 11:13:39 PM
what i guess on some exchanges, Bitconnect is already supposed to be BCC means BCC on the other hand stands for bitconnect.
So very possible, that's why bittrex assigned BCH to Bitcoin Cash, right?
That's right. The ticker same with bitconnect. all of the exchange site already changed it into the BCH. The bitconnect and bitcoincash, i think there is no different for both of the coin. It just same altcoin.
The dev already choosen the bad ticker at the early start of bitcoincash.
