701  Other / Off-topic / Re: world without bitcoins......!!!1 on: February 10, 2017, 01:01:21 PM
In the rapid development progress of bitcoins, there has been countries where bitcoins are banned like China ,Bolivia ,Bangladesh and others.......... Since bitcoins are not in the hands of government , many countries have banned it and are in the phase on banning bitcoins............ So what should be done? What should be said to the governements?Huh?
I did some research on this one, and I discovered that half of this is not true. China has had reports of banning bitcoins, but none of them were ever true. In fact, China has the biggest bitcoin mining operations and the largest Bitcoin exchanges. However, countries like Thailand and Bangladesh are afraid of Bitcoin because it eventually will be used more than their traditional currency.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the Balance? on: February 10, 2017, 10:52:12 AM
Increasingly businesses are coming under some form of regulatory framework around the globe. For instance, on Wednesday the People’s Bank of China held a meeting with bitcoin exchanges operating the country with the aim of putting new regulations in place to guide them.

Meanwhile, the major selling point of bitcoin has been the privacy that it offers its users. With bitcoin enterprises and activities coming under the focus of regulators, where does the balance for bitcoin enterprises between protecting customers and trying to impress regulators?

What everyone seems to fail to understand is that the way you think of "balance" in these matters has changed forever

Put simply: regular users are interested in Bitcoin because it protects their interests, that is, their money. And it protects their money without government regulators, it does the job all by itself. It even protects ordinary users from regulators, as crucially, they have no effective way of regulating either the network or individual users.

And businesses are realising the same thing. Where the regulators lose their leverage to regulate, businesses will gain increased protection. Strange, isn't that supposed to be the regulator's role, protecting the interests of businesses and regular folk? Like most "protection" regimes, it's a more than a little ambiguous exactly who is being protected and from what.
Well there is a reason why business owners are still not putting their money on bitcoin and that is because it is still unstable, they don’t want to risk putting money and then losing it is not good for their business, we as bitcoin users we don’t care about the price dropping by a $10 that does not affect us but on the big scale it affects a lot that is why it is risky.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2017, 11:03:45 AM
One reason why you might want to teach your kid about Bitcoin is that if you suddenly die and you have a ton of bitcoin in your laptop wallet, it would all be useless unless your kid knew how to keep it and spend it when needed.  I really don't have any idea how to teach my kid how to learn about it the fact that I don't want to disturb his school classes. If maybe there is a local bitcoin store near us, i could teach him how to buy using his phone.

Or I could just leave a note to him everyday which to buy and later he'll understand what btc is. He may be interested to learn it too and trade.
I think that teaching a kid especially teenagers about bitcoin is a profitable thing for us and for them, as parents we won’t have to give alone everyday they can earn it themselves, and for them they could earn money without having to find a part time job, by just doing things they do every day which is sitting in front of the computer and going on social media etc.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: February 08, 2017, 09:33:50 AM
My gambling experience started with my friend sending me free 10$ worth bitcoin. Since at the time there wasn't much to do with it, I went ahead and tried it on a gambling website. Dice was my first. I believe I hit 3x on my first roll and was hooked instantly.
Luckily for you cause you play with your friends funds it's different with me I play only because I do interesting with gambling that my friends watching me
After that I start play in parlay and I am not as lucky as my friends but I do also win back my lost amount Smiley

Lucky that you both win . Me I will won then will lose later on. Got interest on it while reading some forums here regarding gambling.then played dice, roulette . There were times when I think I won already, I stop for a while and enjoys my winning. Though it just happen few times because I'm not on my winning track this past few games.
Gambling was the first thing that I got introduced to when I wanted to learn about bitcoin, and since then I have gambled blindly for a while until I gave up and came to the realization that gambling is not going to make me profit and a passive income, so I decided to quit and use my own skills to earn money, but I still gamble from now and then just for fun and not with a large amount.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 08, 2017, 08:15:05 AM
in fact it was very cool, but it is illegal, so I think it would be embarrassing if you are known by many people that you're a gambler. well, very much look cool for a gambler, but when they fail, it will be very ugly. well, frankly it might be embarrassing.
Yeah, that is really embarrassing that everyone knew that you lost and your face as a gambler will really go down. Though after that people will forget what happened and gotta move on to other stories in life. But it is not really that cool or ugly making yourself a gambler because it really depends on how you gamble each day. Many people this time are having a hard time avoiding gambling and having a problem about being broke, that is shameful.
I personally quit gambling after a long run and after I sit down with myself and realized that it won’t get me anywhere and I can’t build a life around gambling even if it gives me easy money from time to time.

I realized that working hard is far more satisfying than gambling for the money, and the money I earn form gambling gets spend fast and without caring where it goes unlike the money I earn with hard work.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's talk about poker! on: February 08, 2017, 07:01:09 AM
In poker, if you don't know the rules you will definitely lose. But you have the skills, like reading your opponent and bluffing then theirs a chance you can win. Even if you are lucky but don't know the rules then you will lost in the long run.
Not true, even poker is totally based on skill but there is no way you could be sure of your decision when you play even if you are an experienced player and can read your opponent, that is why it is called gambling, if you are in a real life casino then I can tell you that it is not based entirely on luck but online there is no way you could bluff.
707  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 08, 2017, 05:50:23 AM
i lost 1 btc at the old edition ,  it was very hard to win and no provably fair as now
When it comes to gambling loss happens with everyone, you have lost just one bitcoin. There are users who have lost very big number of bitcoins. Recent example is wonton, who even after winning 300btc lost around 50btc on the consecutive game. So its not with the edition that you lost, your strategy might have gone wrong or you might be unlucky.
Indeed ! You remind me of my time, when I was gambling too much I won like 2.5+ bitcoins at a time and then I got too greedy and lost hehe many such sweet and sour memories with bitdice and hence the favorite of all time for me. the best part though that I always love at bitdice is the admin involvement in the site's chat. Just amazing overall and guys I have come with a new strategy .. maybe you can try it Wink BUT IT HAS ITS OWN RISK TOO., so please don't risk more than you can afford to loose.
bet on 1.25 odds and multiply with 4 times when loss. Till now working very good for me .. I make little bets on each phase though Smiley
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: February 07, 2017, 09:25:25 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

The Main Difference Between the Bitcoin and the Money is that Bitcoin is Not Owned or Controlled by any Government and Organisation and Also Bitcoin is Anonymous but Money is Owned by the Government and Money is Not Anonymous.....
That's Why People Prefer to Use Bitcoin for Gambling, Buying Stocks and Much More.....
Indeed, the bitcoin is the best way to stay under the radar and use the money on the internet without compromising your identity theft, but the way I see governments have a point when it comes to controlling money and not using bitcoin as an official currency because they don’t want it to be used for the wrong purposes like using it for drugs guns and other illegal stuff, so they control it to know exactly where it goes.
709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need an experienced developer for coding a gambling website on: February 07, 2017, 08:53:09 PM
i will share the project details on PM.

i don't want to share it on public. All i need is a talented, experienced developer who will work for this project.
I agree with others, if you could share some more information, even if not about the website maybe about the projected of payment?

That way you can attract more coders here. People would want to know how much they could make with this. You may want to keep your idea secret I understand that but if you keep the payment a secret they won’t come to you. What you need to remember about coders is that they are wanted by many and you need to go to them not the other way around.
710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 07, 2017, 08:04:18 PM
Nobody probably cares if he sits in prison for 5 years.

lots of scammed folk may disagree with that.

money is just money (although any recovered from fines/repayment would sure help the victims). prison would suck. a LOT. might make some wannabe scammers pause. well, for a moment anyway.  Roll Eyes

ps i didnt go anywhere near gaw stuff and i would like to see him in jail. plus a nasty fine.

If there is punishment I don't see him ever paying back even $100,000.  If he had any cash he has socked it away somehow in bitcoin or with his relatives accounts.  His buddy Stewart might cough it up if he doesn't somehow get sucked into the SEC investigation.  The best punishment for Homero probably is prison time since he has already spent all of the stolen funds.  If he had the ability to pay back I think that would be a better punishment and outcome for everyone.
I don’t know, finding a middle way to pay people back would be a better way. We have seen this big scamming at mt.gox where they “accidentally” found 200k bitcoin under the couch or somewhere Cheesy If courts just send him to jail that means the investors lost their Money and josh stays in jail for 5 years and get away with millions of dollars.

I am almost sure that he must have some cash saved up somewhere after this much scamming. Where did all that money go? I think scaring him with a bigger deal and than make him accept paying back would be better.
711  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: February 07, 2017, 07:33:00 PM
It depends on the target audience or market, some people will go for signature campaign if their targeted market is cryptocurrencies lovers, but if it is a dynamics market social media campaign should be better
I think it is also regarding what you want to achieve as well as the product. If its pure bitcoin related thing like a casino or something you may think it is only bitcointalk signature campaign but having some social media presence also means that you will show more trust.

I do not trust a casino that has its last post 2 years ago. I want to play on a social and active casino, I want to talk with the owner-mods or whatever they have and see them do promotions on social media. Primedice would be a great example.
712  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think of Epay.com? most cheaper fee? on: February 07, 2017, 05:42:20 PM
You may find some scam accusations but against Epay.info and not .com since those are two different services. I have never used them myself but I know some people who did and they had some good experience and I suggest checking some reviews and feedback from users around here .

Yes, you are right, I just see so many scams come from "Epay info " but not belong to "Epay.com" is confusing me at the first time. Grin
So epay.info and epay.com are different companies? Thats weird, I never checked but I would be surprised if I realized that myself. I guess they forgot about buying .info than. By the looks of it if they are two different companies than you need to check .com accusations and do not look at .info accusations. And by the looks of it .com doesn’t seem that bad at all, I never used it but many people did and they seem happy.
713  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: February 07, 2017, 08:57:53 AM
I can say that our economy is doing better compared to 10 years ago. According to the government, there are more jobs available right now and the  unemployment rate has steadily been decreasing. I think an indication that  the economy is doing ok is if there are infrastructure developments, there’s peace and order and people are generally positive about their future.

maybe in some of city, there are many jobs will be available but we need to have more skills to be accepted in the each of jobs field because there are more young people that want to get that position. the economy is good and from year by year, we can see that each of income in each country is grow too.
Regardless of what are the situation of economy in a country, I think there will be no wrong in adopting bitcoin payment system for daily life and business purposes. Because there are a lot of advantages in using bitcoin system rather than sticking with conventional fiat payments. I suggest everyone to adopt bitcoin regardless of how good your country's economy.
714  Economy / Economics / Re: First investments in bitcoins on: February 07, 2017, 07:24:14 AM
for me its a matter of time and trust if you want to put your money into something you should know that you are needed to take more time to study and to assess whether its economical or not with bitcoin really making its move to rally up better to double check if how long you are willing to hold and wait and never ever sell it if you are still at loss anything can happen with bitcoin investment.
Yes, a well potential based investment opportunity, never will find an exhausted levels over time. Because growth potential will be unlimited as long as there would be some demand for it. This is what actually happening with bitcoin investments so we never need to worry about the higher prices to invest at right now.

We can keep our trust on bitcoins and we keep on investing more into it.
715  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: February 06, 2017, 09:35:31 PM
to be successful and earn more money, you need to try to start a new one. Invest in many projects, and then to determine what brings maximum profit. Find your way investment and achieve greater profit from it
i think trading. trading is one of the most fantastic way of making money. although there are so many other ways  of making money but still i will recommend that in trading you can make unlimited amount of bitcoin.
yes there is no doubt about that, trading is really a good way of making money. but trading need good knowledge, skill and experience and if some one do have these properties then trading is the most risky way of making money.
No, trading will not be a good way to make more money from our money. I guess even professional traders also will be facing losses in a highly fluctuating market conditions. I guess running a business with our money would be comparatively safer for better returns to have decent income generations from our money. But that business needs to be new and based on winning concepts.
716  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2017, 09:04:13 PM
Well, I was trying to teach my sister to look for bitcoin with faucet, and games. but, he really is not interested in anything like that. Well, it may require patience large enough to teach children bitcoin, and it may have started with the easiest thing to understand.

Kids will get bored if you make them play with non interactive games, let alone a faucet.  In my opinion it would be wise to just let them enjoy their being kids.  Teaching them bitcoin is too much complicated in their age.  And if we push it, they may develop hatred over Bitcoin or be traumatized with it.  so let them be kid Smiley the right time will come to teach them about Bitcoin.
Yes, my question also what would be the need of making kids to know about bitcoins. Kinds must learn basics of science and maths and not surely about money and its derived forms. If we introduce them about bitcoins, it may make them addicted to it due to easy money making idea as they will not be having any big commitment but faucets also will be enough for pocket money.
717  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: best online btc wallet on: February 06, 2017, 08:33:24 PM
GUYS about TAX FEE in blockchain  why is high 0.0015 BTC HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh
and he will back fee normal ?
It means the best wallet does not need to be paying tx fees for you. Blockchain is feature rich and hence preferred by many people here as a best wallet and this much higher tx fees are due to lack of willingness from miners to include our transactions in the block they will be mining.

So, blockchain has nothing to do with higher tx fees, they set right fees for you to get your transactions to get confirmed.

If you are not willing to pay high then you can move your privatekeys anywhere else and send your bitcoins will your custom fees , but there will be no guarantee that your tx will get confirmed if you include less fees.
718  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How people can have so much BTC in their wallet? on: February 06, 2017, 07:55:23 PM
The early adopters usually have hundreds, if not thousands of coins on their wallets. (that is, if they still have their coins.)

Another possibility is the serious investors. They use their fiat capital to buy and hold. Usually for the long term.
Or it could also be the active traders.

As for gamblers, I say that the majority have less than 1 bitcoin in their wallets while the high rollers could have 10's of bitcoins.
Those coins are usually bought.
Yeah, the ones who have invested time and money into bitcoin in its early stage now have a really large amount of bitcoin, I heard of a guy who had 55 btc and he forgot about them for 5 years and when he saw the price of bitcoin remembered them so you can imagine how much money he has now.
719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you think is a good time to start trading ? on: February 06, 2017, 07:05:56 PM
Hey mate, you amount is not that bad to trade, it is good to start trading using small amount at first, and since you are a starter, learn to trade first on small amount, be wise on trading, gain experience on that, there is no good and enough amount of bitcoin o trade as long as you are willing to trade, it okay. All you need is a good strategy to earn from it and a good timing to make profit. Learn the coin where are you going to trade on and just be wise on every move you make.
But unfortunately, most of the traders are believing only when the altcoin will be having low price levels is the right time to start trading with that particular coin. But in my experience, we will never able to catch the all time lower prices it is also applicable for profit booking levels too.

We just need to concentrate only on strategies for profit making and we never wait for good time to arrive to start trading.
720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to learn on: February 06, 2017, 06:25:21 PM
many people here suggesting to start trading only after having enough skill. But people rush into trading with greedy motto and ending up in losses. Just watching video tutorials for altcoin trading will be a simple idea to learn those skills..
Yes learning skills will be the most important requirement to get start with trading.
But people are not giving enough time to learn they are rushing towards make quick money like gambling. Moreover many people are doing trading similar to gambling. If we fail to learn, we cannot get proper result in trading.
