621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: March 03, 2017, 07:29:15 AM
i will always coming back to gambling because i need to earn money everyday
to cover all my daily needs if i am lose today will back tomorrow with bigger funds
to recover it and for earn money not only for fun
You made the legit point but actually here we are talking like suppose a gambler leaves gambling for a long time then why does he return to gambling again.

I have been gambling a lot of times per day in my past and now I am still gambling, though fewer times a day but even though I know it will give loss to me ultimately yet I am gambling every day and loosing with every new day.

Maybe if I control myself from believing into gambling to make my future bright, that would be the right solution to stop myself from keep on coming back into gambling. I know quitting gambling it very big task still keeping gambling in small bets would be working idea for those who find quitting gambling as hardest part of life.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: March 01, 2017, 07:38:37 AM
All man has his weakness, but when it comes to things that concerns our future, it should be strengthen.

Most of the time a gambler cannot quit because he is weak and probably not just weak physically, but weak in decision  making and lacks enthusiasm to be in the real world and of course, the famous reason, "laziness", they always have reason for anything which are most of the time not a valid one.
Yes gambling exploits the weakness of gamblers. When one person is targeting achieving big money he is usually vulnerable to get emotional failure and gambling is focusing to indue their greedy to get addicted. Just in long run every gambler become addicted to gambling thus finding giving up gambling is similar to dying.

Most of the time a gambler cannot quit because he is weak and probably not just weak physically, but weak in decision  making and lacks enthusiasm to be in the real world and of course, the famous reason, "laziness", they always have reason for anything which are most of the time not a valid one.
But, regardless of their ability to make good decisions for gambling, gambling plays more cruelly to make them facing losses continuously. Unfortunately due to addiction they are not thinking about leaving of gambling just with only reason of addiction. Losses vs addiction is a very big battle in gambling still gamblers giving priority to addiction and continue their gambling to have more losses.
623  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: March 01, 2017, 07:06:37 AM
Although this new gambling sites but I think have been trusted by many people.
How do you call 3 years old venture as new ?
Here is the old topic of bitdice : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=476998.0
There would be no surprises why so many people are trusting bitdice because it is entertaining us for more than 3 years.

The new casino 2 version and recent signature campaign makes some people think about bitdice as a new gambling site. But there are with us for long time and more importantly staying as most trusted and providing latest technological improvements for better gambling expediences.
624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: February 28, 2017, 05:59:55 PM
I can't see it making it outside of the internet world but I may be wrong maybe media will start broadcasting about BitCoin on TV I can't be for sure about it but something like that could arise.
It Is very much popular on internet and I think it will be in access of every one and commonly teen agers when internet progresses. And if you are thinking of now then I think it is gaining popularity on internet day by day and person to person and it is very popular in developed countries on internet.

Still, I doubt that bitcoin is only being used by tech background people and not by ordinary other people. But over time each and every people will join bitcoin system and hence it could be used by every citizen without any hassles.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Main Currency on: February 28, 2017, 04:35:46 PM
This is the future, ...our money will be in crypto currency. Soon all people will use a crypto currency, wallets are already embed inside our body thru microchip implants. Transactions are cashless.

Your post sounds like the messages of the end times. Hope it doesn't end in microchip implants and all those signs of the antichrist.

But not impossible if implanted chip will be used in future. For now, chip only used as a GPS to track whereabouts of a person, many people are happy to wear it for safety reasons, including also used by army. Radiation system has been refined and safe to use.

If Bitcoin planted in people wrist, in future we will only use barcode scanner for every short distance transaction. No more need to use your wallet and bank accounts, banks only need to save identity and transaction data only. If this is done by majority people in the world, FIAT is no longer needed as a major currency.
I really don’t think that it is a good idea to implement these kind of things into people’s hands or wrists because that could lead to potential security breaches and people get their private keys stolen and that will cause a lot of problems, I mean we could have like a plastic card that contains our bitcoin address that would be better idea.

To make bitcoin, there are lot of simple ideas are available. I do not think it would take more complex process like implanting kind of things.

Once people realize the true advantages of bitcoin, they will leave off fiats and will embrace bitcoins. That time bitcoin will start getting the status of being main currency, as of now it might need some time to get that status. But it will happen for sure.
626  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 28, 2017, 03:42:35 PM
No such thing as free lunch and no such thing as free bitcoin. No one will give you anything for free and if you want to get some bitcoins you have to invest your time and money, no matter if you are participating in signature campaign, if you gamble, trade or something else. Even faucets are not for free.
Yeah, no one in this forum or in any other field gives you anything without doing anything. You have to do something if you want to earn anything. But there are ways which you have to find if you have in search of easy ways of earning. I think if you have experience in trading and you are a expert so, you can earn through it with less effort.

I honestly hate the word free as it will not be possible and it is highly over used just to bait people. But it is our own responsibility to be careful. As per bitcoin we need to practice for living a life ttrustless. Because we should not believe into one person just for getting something for free.
627  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrated: Bringing trust back to Bitcoin on: February 28, 2017, 11:40:48 AM
On topic, I used Bitrated's automated escrow a few days ago for the first time and I am very satisfied with their service, I recommend this site to everyone and there is no doubt that I will use it again for my future deals.
So basically it is an providing escrow kind of thing ? But I read they are dealing with trust chain of users like user-1 trusts user-2 and user-2 trusts user-3 hence user-1 can trust user-3. I am not sure how they will be implementing as I do this is complete controversial system because as per bitcoin's core concept it was build to have a complete 'trust-less' world.

Adding a layer based on others trust might get broken at any point as human might change time to time.
628  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Doubling bitcoins??? on: February 28, 2017, 08:58:28 AM
the lesson here is we have to even more careful with our bitcoin than with fiat.
Yes, digital assets are highly vulnerable than physical assets. Practically safeguarding digital things are easy to secure and easy to hide at the same time they are quickly getting hacked. But having double or triple layer of protections will save us.

Similarly, I do see there are more ponzi and scam programs/attempts online than real life. I am not seeing any doubling programs being advertised on newspaper but I do see at least one ponzi in famous crypto online news site.
629  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BitMixer.io SCAM? on: February 28, 2017, 06:57:50 AM
I don't get it why there are people that are thinking those legit once to be shady and those shady to be legit, it's hard to understand people.
Suspecting one cannot be ignored because we do not know when one person or service may turn their intentions. There were many records that some services suddenly stopping paying out and one escrow from this forum suddenly disappeared with all the funds he got through providing escrow services.

always check the domain / website address before using them, figure out the btc - bit words used by them.
There are multiple ways available to double check the reliability. Still we cannot be sure about one services all the times. But particularly for bitmixer, I am not finding any complaint nor scam accusations. When I tried them some two months back, all went smooth for mixing my bitcoins.
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: February 27, 2017, 03:46:57 PM
as we can see the price is falling now so we will not gonna reach the all time high before March 11, but still I'm very confident after such date there will be a good news that only those who risk to buy with the current price will get some rewards. Why doubt the future of bitcoin when it's a strong asset, getting now is always a good idea as if ever the price will not rise after such date, for sure in due time it will rise again.
It is really hard to predict what the prices are going to change and that is due to the fact that the big whales are the one who controls the price, so if they decide they want to sell than the prices will go down and that will be the good time to buy.

But right now the prices are really high and who knows how much are they are going to keep going but it all depends on you, if you can afford it then go ahead and buy if not then keep waiting.
631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: February 27, 2017, 03:15:50 PM
It needs time and patience for a long term investments but worth the risk. It's already proven on this years that holding your bitcoin will give you a huge profit. Congratulations for those who hold their bitcoins for a long time, we don't know that this is just the beginning of Bitcoin's Year. It's not too late to buy some bitcoins and hold for a long time and sell it at the right time.
You are right this is bitcoin's year as you could tell by the price it had this. I still think it is worth purchasing bitcoin at this price because my predictions for this year is bitcoin can easilu reach 1500$++ by the end of this year or maybe $2000+ if china government doesn't interfere as they have been doing.
And also the original post you did tell that that you bought at 200$ and you can see the price now so I think you can see the potential of it and selling it just because you in profit is not recommended unless you need it for an emergency.

I thought the issues with China would have caused a bearish run for the long haul, I was quite surprised to see that it picked back up again.

It just goes to show that Bitcoin is much bigger than China or anyone country.

The issue I see right now is the scaling, there's so much BTC caught up in the system and it's taking ever longer for BTC to pass through the network.

A number of times now I've been waiting close to 24 hours and that's with increasing my payout fee.

If they don't fix this soon, that could be the death of BTC. Another crypto could easily come along and take it's place if the community don't agree on implementing something to solve the scaling issue.

I personally believe in BTC with my heart and soul and hold about 2.1 BTC atm in the hope it will double by the end of the year, however the scaling issue is the biggest threat to the value of BTC right now.
Nope i don't think any other coin currently has the potential to take over bitcoin no matter what happens. And if you also see there are very less people who actually use bitcoin for purchasing something most of them have just bought bitcoins and forgot about it. The fall of bitcoin can take 20-40 years or maybe more.
Maybe that is true, but that does not ignore the fact that bitcoin is becoming more and more harder to get and new people who are going want to use bitcoin will have hard time getting it, and mining has become more and more harder each time there is a halving, so people will start looking for an alternative in 5 or 6 years and then we will see a peak in the price of these altcoins.

In recent times, no other investment matched with bitcoin's ROI. Bitcoin gained the top position in best performing currency list. Hence, without doubts holding bitcoin must be the best way to make more money.
632  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: February 27, 2017, 01:50:08 PM
Decentralization is one of the best assets of Bitcoin and if we do something like that there will come a time that decentralization may be gone. I don't want any banks holding up my money, it is not that much but I don't really need someone holding my money.
True, the whole idea of using bitcoin is controlling your own money and being your own bank, and making a bank for bitcoin is really a waste of resources, why bother putting your money in a bank when you deposit it for free on an online wallet.

If people want to make something good for cryptocurrencies that have to start with making it a payment method that is better.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm leaving Bitcoin on: February 27, 2017, 01:18:05 PM
Well you might have your own personal reasons for leaving but I will urge you to rethink your decision and if there's a possibility of returning please do because we need all these brains to support the Bitcoin community and we can't just start losing you guys one after the other.
Yeah, the bitcoin community right should work together and focus on making a good reputation for the bitcoin and come up with different new ideas to improve it and make people invest in it more so we really need all the support and the users that have much experience and knowledge about the bitcoin.

When every bitcoiner feels his responsibilities, I believe there will be no people will be feeling like leaving off bitcoin systems. I hope we will be working on this regards intensively.
634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: February 27, 2017, 12:24:40 PM
Obviously I have not own 1 BTC but I am trying my best to collect 1 BTC, by buying Bitcoin from our local exchange and doing some faucet (which I stopped since I realized it is a waste of time).

Well it is pretty hard to own 1 BTC if you don't know other ways to earn it and I think it would took you a lot of years to get the 1 bitcoin target, there are someone here just share sites maybe it could help you a lot when you try it, now that the value of bitcoin sky rocket I think I need an extra think to do to earn more BTC.
I think a lot of the users on the forum are still in the beginning of earning bitcoin so it is pretty hard to find someone who has 1 btc, and if they do have it they didn’t work for it they just bought with fiat or they have been in the business for a really long time, because there is no way to make 1 bitcoin without spending money.

Maybe some people are capable of earning bitcoins from multiple freelancing opportunities to make 1 bitcoin in quick time, But for an average Joe, it is still a hard task with respect to current bitcoin prices.
635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: February 27, 2017, 08:29:10 AM
Failing to find the right earning opportunity and struggling with improper earning methods is the biggest mistakes, I do see many newbies are still doing. I also did mistakes and spend more time with faucets in my earlier days in bitcoin world. Some people are trying mining the non-profitable coins and wasting their time and electricity bill.

Mistakes are common for both experienced and newbie bitcoiners. But I feel it is the responsibility of experience bitcoiners to create a knowledge resource and guiding newbies. I agree this forum is a great knowledge resource but it is not available in an arranged a manner except if a newbie is good in using "search function".

I have seen similar topics in past and it is really humiliating people were repeating same types of mistakes by failing to learn lessons from those topics.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 26, 2017, 09:22:51 PM
Gold! Bitcoin is safe when the world is safe. World is heading towards WW3. We can experience power outages. No power - no bitcoin acces.

well, gold will probably always be used even when Internet access disappears, but you can bitcoin doubled in a short time, and it can make a profit very much, even 40% of the money you have in one day. but it also requires skill and very much information.
Yes, gold has no concern with internet, bitcoin is depending on internet and it is difficult to use bitcoin without internet, but I think in the modern world it is not possible to think about the world without internet. As we are also depending on internet for so many other things.

I think that this is another opportunity to buy bitcoin at this price.
We cannot expect this kind of buying opportunity with gold. Gold prices are stable and hence it is not attracting new investors whereas bitcoins stay strong in this aspect.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: February 26, 2017, 08:51:20 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

In crypto currency there are lots of altcoin that has been rise up and established in crypto world. Still few of them are had a bright future waiting, And one of them I can consider which is good to invest was eth, ltc, nem, and maid this is for my assessment, and some of it I hold it for now a years from I do believe it will triple or more the price for sure, and if ever not happen I will still hold and keep it.
There are so many other crypto currencies and some of them are good among rest of crypto currencies but I think still they cannot beat bitcoin because they are still far behind from bitcoin.

The prime factor must be the number of bitcoin users which is constantly increasing compared to other crypto currencies. Investors come into cypto world only for bitcoins but later they realize about other altcoins and start investing with them also.
638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: February 26, 2017, 02:42:15 PM
At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

This will depend on your capability of balance you had. If you want to earn big you need to have a big capital too, though there is big risk a part from it, if small capital you can possibly earn small too.
We need high bankroll for btc/usd trades because the movement is little and we have to find profit in that itself, which is only possible when we trade high amounts. While with altcoins/btc market you can even get rich with 1 usd because the altcoin might touch skype from dust in no time.

Though there are very few altcoins in history that touched skype after starting with dust.

But we cannot take example from one or two altcoin's performances. We need to consider how the total industry works. If we consider all the factors, trading only bitcoins would be the right and safest method for gaining consistent profits.
639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest 10k - 20k on: February 26, 2017, 01:45:11 PM
actually it is a bit expensive to buy in 1100$, bitcoin price is a bit unstable for a moment, but if you want to hold that long I think you are going to make some profit, judging from the chart and the trends, when 2020 bitcoin will be more expensive than 1100$
Yes, in future bitcoin will be on moon hence buying now must be a profitable action. Based on some basic characteristics of bitcoin, we can be assured about bitcoin's future prices regardless of currently influencing factors like ETF approval or anything similar to that. (If that will not happen it might happen in near future. Because people's demand will make government to approve them.)

If we do not buy now, we may miss $1100 levels' buying opportunities permamnently. Or may need to wait for ROI for some times. But surely we will be in profits after years.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: February 25, 2017, 07:26:51 PM
i think the price of bitcoin will not reach on this point ? because most of the investor in bitcoin was a gambler and gambling sites owner and we should thank the gamblers because they helping us to grow our bitcoins. and if there's no gambling i think there will be less rich on the world because most of rich family came from gambling Smiley

Gambling will remain even without bitcoin and if gambling was not introduced then you are right with it bitcoin industry is not going to boom because one of its biggest contributor for its adoption and demand are the gambling sites and you forget to thank also those addicted gamblers because they are the once who is making the whole gambling industry alive. But if gambling is not introduced to the whole nation, then we will have our own addiction in other things.
No, actually gambling has played a big role in getting up the worth of bitcoins.
I think I myself got into bitcoins when someone told me that we can bet on dice game without any issues and no questions are asked when we win or loose.

Moreover the payments are instant, this was something of significant value to me because till then I was betting on bet365 which even asked ID proofs weekly when I win big or change my passwords.
