I know how this game will game. And the reason will not be because Manchester City are the best sides and play very well, the reason will be because Tottenham has ignored their defensive vulnerabilities for a very long time. And this is what will make they lose the game because their opponent already know about their weakness and will go all out in exploiting it. My prediction in the match between Tottenham vs. Manchester City a goal-filled 4-2 victory for Man City.

Tottenham will lose that game solely because of injuries. You seem to have forgotten how good Tottenham was playing before they got hit by injuries. They have not won any match since their injury crisis began. Against Chelsea they got two red card and two injuries and that was the main reason they lost that match. Despite the injuries, they still play pretty well. The last two matches they lost, they scored first and took the lead, they just couldn't hold on or score more goals. A good defense can only hold for so long, if the team is weak. That's what Man United is suffering.
Onana may be full of mistakes which is disgusting, but the team is at fault. If a team is struggling, the defense wilould suffer. Madison was easily the Tottenham's best midfielder and without him, there's no much creativity so they can't score goals and they can't hold on to the ball.
This is bad news for Spurs because a loss to City would only drag them further down the table.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 01, 2023, 02:54:58 PM
Well, isn't this what we want. if the Bundesliga offers a competition that is a little more exciting than before. So far, Dortmund has always been Bayern's strongest competitor. If only Dortmund were able to win matchday 34, Beyern Munich's dominance would be over. I mean, the title they have achieved so far can be broken. But in fact, last season's luck still belonged to Bayern Munich. Now there is a new team that is Bayern's competitor, namely Bayer Leverkusen, aren't we currently being presented with a slightly different show from the Bundesliga.

I hope Leverkusen won't do like Dortmund. There are times when Dortmund has had the opportunity to win the league but they always bottle it. I hope Leverkusen won't be like that. They're in a very good form and the only way they can win this league is if they can maintain this league till the end of the season because Bayern seem to get better as the season improves and they're also used to this kind of pressure.
It would be nice to see a different team win the league title this season. It's going to be a real challenge when they face Bayern Munich. If they'll be able to win Bayern that will help them extend their league further. If they can't win against Bayern then they'll be in trouble, that's the same mistake Dortmund made last season.

Rumors about Erik Ten Hag's replacement are getting louder and this time it is reported that Manchester United has a new option as his replacement and he is the current Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri. In fact, this change of Manchester United coach could happen if Erik Ten Hag fails to target Manchester United to be at the top of the standings and I think Massimiliano Allegri is an experienced figure and there is no doubt about his performance. Moreover, there are rumors that Massimiliano Allegri is interested in moving to manage an English team and it could be Manchester United. Well, it looks like there will always be a new candidate to replace Erik ten Hag and we are waiting to see who else will be rumored to be the next Manchester United coach.

At this point sacking Ten Hag would be a very good decision from Manchester United. Ten Hag is not going to improve this team in anyway. He seems clueless and the players don't look like people that want to work for him.
I don't think Allegri would be a better replacement.
United needs somebody with fresh and different ideas. Somebody that can motivate these players and bring out the best in them. Allegri has the experience but there's no point replacing him with a coach that is not very attacking minded. Allegri is kind of old school and it might make you stronger in today's football, but you won't be able to win titles with that kind of football.
This is just my opinion and I may be wrong but I believe I am not wrong. Experience is good, but experience is not all that should be considered when hiring a new coach. I said the same thing when Chelsea were about to hire Pochettino and look how things are for Chelsea.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 01, 2023, 12:34:13 PM
If Sevilla can't participants in Europe League for this season, I think still have Bayern Leverkusen with unstoppable winning trend and Liverpool have consistent performance in domestic league will be favorite team for winning Europe League trophy.

Sevilla were not the favorite to win it last season because it was obvious they were in a very bad form but they kept winning one match at a time till they got to the final. People expected teams like Juventus and Arsenal to make it to the final but they didn't
Same with Villarreal the season before that.
So teams like Leverkusen and Liverpool are very good but it doesn't mean they're the ones to get to the final or win the competition. . It's a very fierce competition.
If Sevilla somehow manages to make it to the Europa by beating Lens, all eyes would be on them because everybody knows how they are in the Europa. One thing I would never do is underrate Sevilla when it comes to the Europa league.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 01, 2023, 11:33:15 AM
Of course the level of competition used to be more exciting than today it's just that the process isn't that short and today La Liga may not be too difficult to predict  with strong teams..

I don't agree with this. La Liga used to be easier to predict back in the day with big teams. Back in the way teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid only lose points in like 5 to 6 matches the whole season. Smaller teams didn't have much chance against big la Liga teams.  Now there's in the FFP rules that have restricted clubs like Barcelona and Madrid to have the be best players in the world for every position on the field.
I believe it's more competitive now but the problem is that the restrictions are making the teams unable to sign big players and keep their big players, thwts the problem of the league.
A new management needs to come and make some reforms so the restrictions would be lessened.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using AI for betting predictions on: November 30, 2023, 09:51:25 PM
Except the AI ca see the future it's of no use. Or maybe it's "the entity" (the AI in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning) lol.
I've never used AI to predict games, but the AI will only predict games based on data it has been given and those data are also accessible to me. It is with those same data I predict my own games, so there's no difference.
It's easier to predict fewer games compared to many games and that's the same thng the AI did.
I can predict the outcome of 3 games and 80% of the time I'll be right but the chances of me getting the prediction of all 30 games correct is way lower.

Also, AI predicts games without emotion, which could be a good thing, but it can also be a disadvantage.
Let's take for example a derby match. AI will predict based on the team that is in a better form obviously, but that's not always tge case. Derby matches or rival are very different. A match between Real Madrid and Barcelona can go either way regardless of who is in a better form
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: November 30, 2023, 08:36:54 PM
Just look how long they haven't won any title in La Liga and now they are going to feel the consequences. I think there is no backdoor for them this time and Lens tied the game against them in Spain. They now need to tie it again and will instead go to the Europa League. It would be a surprise if Sevilla makes it, and it would also be fun but I don't believe they will do it this year.

Funny you should say this when they were even worse in the league last season but they somehow won the Europa league. We should have learnt by now not to underrate Sevilla. As far as there's still a chance for them to go to the Europa, they can take it. If Sevilla can manage to win Lens in the final game id the group stage then they'll be heading to the Europa league and we all know how Sevilla gets when they're in the Europa league. They're like the Real Madrid of the champions league. You can never write them off.
Lens would make it very difficult for Sevilla too because they also want to keep playing European football. Both Lens are Sevilla are similar in terms of current form, they're both not in a very good form.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 30, 2023, 01:00:05 PM

Come on man! it's just lens. This club is still performing so badly in league 1. You may be seeing the different result once it enters the knock out stage. you can imagine if arsenal is going to face one from these clubs (real madrid/bayern munich)

Arsenal was just lucky enough being placed in the easiest group in UCL this season. I do wanna see arsenal to get barcelona as the next opponent. It's gonna be a real challenge for arsenal and arteta.

"Just Lens" you say? The same just Lens won Arsenal in the first leg.
There's no just in the champions league. Manchester United couldn't get full points from Copenhagen in both legs. They couldn't win Galatasaray in both legs. Bayern Munich drew to Copenhagen. In the champions league if you underrate any team you might suffer for it.
Barcelona lost to Doneskt. PSG is struggling to qualify in a group that they should be toping.  You don't need to be a fan to see the work that another team is putting in. Winning a team 6-0 doesn't just boils down to how bad the losing team is, it also boils down to how good the winning team is.

I'm not saying Arsenal is going to win the league or win against the likes of Madrid or Bayern, but you have to give them credit for what they've done. They've not been inthe ucl for years and now they've topped their group, they definitely deserve some credit.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 30, 2023, 12:47:27 PM
this is what worries Inter fans because they know that Juventus has a much better stamina and physical advantage because they dont have any other matches scheduled and it is difficult to predict whether Inter will continue to stay at the top of the standings while Juventus continues to catch up on points.

It doesn't worry me, maybe because I'm not an Inter fan but I'm certain that if you ask Inter fans which they would chose between not playing in the champions league and having a lot of time to rest while Juventus plays in the champions and the league or they (Inter) plays in both competitions, I'm sure they'll chose to pkwy in both competitions.
These are the things that determine a big club. A big club plays in 3 competitions all season long while smaller clubs only plays in one, making the challenge and pressure bigger for the bigger club.
Inter don't seem like a club that would let Juventus use that as an advantage over them. The serie A title race would be between these two giants; Juventus and Inter. I'm placing my bet on Inter though because they seem like a more serious team. They play better and are more compact than Juve. Hopefully both teams keeps up this momentum till the end of the season so either team don't run away with the league like Napoli did last time.
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 30, 2023, 09:11:01 AM
Barcelona has the chance to make the end of the year very interesting.
They face Atletico Madrid and Girona next in the league. If they were able to win both matches they could make things interesting. But considering the current form of Barcelona, it's going to be very difficult for that to happen.  I don't think Girona would see the top of the table anymore since they have been dethroned by Real Madrid. If Barcelona can win their next two matches then we might see the usual battle between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
It's a very long season ahead and it's difficult to determine who will be champion at this stage but I can guarantee that it would be between Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid (in that order). Girona might not even make it to the UCL spot and I would not like that. I've watched them a lot this season and I enjoy their football, I feel Europe should watch them play too.
No position is guaranteed as things stand, by this time last season, Real Madrid were the league leaders but they didn't maintain it till the end of the season. So anything is possible.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 29, 2023, 10:38:42 PM
It's always advisible to invest for the future but we also have to try and enjoy the present. There's a difference when you can't enjoy the present with the money you make because you have too many responsibilities and when you can't enjoy the present because you're saving for the future. We have to try to do things that will make us happy and keep our minds in sane. The purpose of an investment is to have a better life in future, but it doesn't mewn we have to live s very unhappy life now.
Life is meaningless of we're not happy so go on that vacation, buy the things you want but try to live within yoir means. The problem raises when you try to go above your means.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: When the world is evolving, follow the trend. on: November 29, 2023, 10:03:00 PM
It is very much advisable that digital economy should be embraced, no one would want to be caught naive when the world evolves fully. One thing is certain that a time would come where all financial transactions would be done digitally and there'd be no hard note transaction, at that time, it'll be difficult to secure an asset for oneself so it's very much best to start now that its still being nurtured.

You make a fine point, but you have to understand that this evolution would not happen overnight. For every financial transaction to be done digitally, the whole world would need to have gone completely digital. This is something that is happening gradually and despite how far the world has grown, it has not gotten to the level of eradicating cash. Even in developed countries, cash is still needed at some point so talk more of underdeveloped countries.
My point is, we're not going to sleep one night and wake up the next morning in a completely digital era where every transaction is digital and cash is no longer needed. It's not going to happen within a year.
It is a phase and we have already started evolving to that point, it may not happen in our lifetime or in this century, but it would happen and nobody would be left behind.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Request to learn gambling on: November 29, 2023, 12:07:06 PM
Now, there's a simple question that I want to ask: do you guys think I should introduce her to gambling? If yes, what's the easiest game she can stake in and also enjoy while gambling?

As someone who is active on social media it would be very difficult for you to not see how people are making money out of gambling. Also if you're a sports fan all you see while watching a game are gambling ads. These things make people tend to want to gamble because it is presented una away to make you earn money all the time. It is till you start that you realize that it's not always like that. A lot of caution has to be applied.
When somebody has the mindset that gambling can be a second source of income for I feel they have lost the plot before they even start.

I am a gambler but I don't think I'd teach someone to become a gambler. If they come to me and ask questions on how to use a particular casino or how to find an account or how to play a particular game I might explain, but to teach you everything about gambling from the beginning is not something i can do.
First, the person has to have the right understanding that gambling won't become a second source of income. You can earn money from it from time to time, but it's not a source of income.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 29, 2023, 10:02:05 AM
Until you watch the beautiful football played by Bayer Leverkusen this season, you should not forget that they have also played successful matches in previous seasons. Leverkusen is currently the team with the biggest championship possibility against Bayern Munich. If Bayern loses points, Leverkusen will be able to create a bigger point difference. There is currently a race in which two teams follow each other closely and this makes the league more enjoyable.
Leverkusen rose since the middle of last season when Xabi Alonso arrived as Leverkusen team coach in the middle of last season and Xabi Alonso made quite significant changes to make Leverkusen's performance improve.
And this season everything starts from the beginning and Leverkusen is really getting stronger, so that up to now they are unbeaten, only drawing once against Bayern Munich and the rest they always win.

And because of this, Bayern Munich has to be careful this season because there is a possibility that Leverkusen can prevent Bayern Munich from retaining the Bundesliga trophy this season (and honestly I want that to happen so that the Bundesiga will be more competitive).

There will be more Improve games ahead last week saw that the both fullbacks of Bayern Leverkusen have given good number of assist and scored goals. Xabi Alonso is indeed a very good man with his job. First position in Europa League and first position in Bundesliga too.
This weekend they face Dortmund who have just won three goals and have qualified for the Champions league knockouts.
It will be a lot fun when they meet, there is more competitive games coming for Bayern Leverkusen in Bundesliga,  they will be tested by top clubs in Bundesliga. Bayern Munich are also chasing hard Tuchel has plans of winning back to back trophy in Bundesliga. The signing of Harry Kane has helped them this season.  The goals achievement is so much. Harry Kane will win the award this season.

Manchester United recorded its name in history as the first team in the EPL to successfully keep 500 clean sheets. That is a huge amount for one of the giants of English football and it is all thanks to great performances from legends such as Peter Schmeichel, Van Der Sar and David De Gea. However, the newest goalkeeper, Andre Onana, often receives criticism because he often underperforms and also makes mistakes which makes the Old Trafford public very angry. But thanks to his performance in the last match against Everton, the 500 clean sheet mark was finally achieved and perhaps we should be able to put confidence in this Cameroonian goalkeeper so that every day he gets better, despite all the mistakes he made at the start of the season.
If Manchester United's defense had been more solid since the start of the season then perhaps Manchester United's goal would not have conceded too many goals when guarded by Onana. But because Manchester United's defense was very bad even since pre-season, Onana also ended up having a bad debut as the new goalkeeper at that time. But now Ten Heg seems to have started to create a strategy that makes Manchester United's defense a little better even though there are still many gaps. In fact, I was very worried about Manchester United's defense in that match because Everton was quite active in bombarding Manchester United's defense in that match.

I congratulate Manchester United on achieving 500 Clean Sheets. And hopefully in the next match Manchester United can break the 500 Clean Sheets figure to 501 Clean Sheets.  Grin

All the big names before Andrea onana has made history for the club he will be the next to do so with his qualities that match that of the same ten Hag demands he will stay more than three seasons  with the biggest club in the world.
500 clean and they are the first club to do that, Man United may be having  difficulties now that don't mean they are not the big sides they use to be they will gradually retain their form. Small step they take every day matters and the mistakes and failures are part of the history they are what motivates a player and keeps them goin. There will be war declared upon Galatasaray.  Man United have to fight to win the game.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 29, 2023, 08:40:42 AM
Borussia Dortmund has already confirmed that they will qualify, but it does not rule out the possibility that they will continue to play the final match with full strength because of course they have the desire to qualify as top of the group standings.

Knowing the kind of team Dortmund is, they might get trashed very easily by PSG. Dortmund s a very inconsistent team, they can't win when you expect them to win especially if it's a tough match with high intensity.
They had the opportunity to win their last match of the season last season and win the league in front of their fans but they couldn't win and allowed the league slip to Bayern Munich. It's how Dortmund is. It would be fun to see PSG in the Europa league but Dortmund won't let that happen I'm afraid. PSG may not have played convincingly all season long, but watch how they'll snatch all 3 points from Dortmund.

Newcastle can also win AC Milan. Ac Milan is also not consistent this season. If Newcastle plays well they'll be able to win and hope that PSG loses so they can have an opportunity in the round 16. It's going to be an interesting match week.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: November 29, 2023, 08:28:08 AM
What can you say about this? Are you willing to risk your $18 to win $18k, or a million in PHP pesos?

If I don't believe that I can win millions from gambling, I wouldn't be gambling. There's a difference between hoping to win and being so desperate to win. You have to understand that gambling needs luck, no matter how good you are, you still need a bit of luck to win in gambling.
The amount a person should be willing to risk shouldn't be the question, the question is how much is that amount you're willing to risk worth to you. $100 may mean nothing to me person and that same $100 may mean a lot to another person. You can't take an amount that's so much more that you can afford to lose to gamble with the hope that you'll win the bet. It ends up badly most of the time.
When people become so desperate to win or keep trying to win back their losses, they end up being addicted to gambling and that is a bad place to be.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 29, 2023, 07:52:34 AM
Anceloti has decided that he is only up to this season. He will become Brazil coach after the summer. But I agree, he is currently still working to the maximum. He made a good transfer. Anceloti prioritizes buying talented young players who are ready for the long term. He has started the regeneration of the current players. Anceloti started well, he didn't sell old players right away. Anceloti is selling gradually and it's a good move to keep the team in stability.
Yes, I heard the news that Ancelotti will leave Real Madrid after this season ends. So, Real Madrid should be prepare to hire a new coach for the next season. I already heard the rumors about some candidates for the next coach but I only assume that Zidane is the best option for the next coach. If Zidane becomes the coach, it will be a special attraction for Real Madrid. I believe it will raise the chance to sign Mbappe or even other top players like Haaland or Osimhen. Every player expects to work together with Zidane because Zidane is a special coach who wins UCL trophies.

It is true that Ancelotti already started the regeneration of Real Madrid squad. There are many young players in Real Madrid squad now. If they sign new striker and more young defenders, the regeneration will be complete.

He will not be leaving too much fake news going round Carlo Ancelotti's departure will be told at the end of the season only Real Madrid president knows and can be the only person to get him convinced over staying a year further. Real Madrid is a big club and whoever called up will want to make history with the club.

Zidane works with players that are well shaped and moulded we don't know if this news are true. Haaland cannot leave Man City this season not the one ahead too.

Barcelona finding it hard to score goals,  yesterday night they needed the help of Cancelo and Felix to help them win against Porto. Lewandowski drop in form is alarming a replacement should be found quickly.

Manchester United is monitoring the possibility of Timo Werner's departure in January and perhaps currently the Red Devils still feel they are lacking in striker options. Actually, I'm just wondering whether Rasmus Hojlund still doesn't quite meet Erik ten Hag's expectations or whether Timo Werner will be another option if this transfer is successful. But there have been no negotiations so far and Manchester United has moved to find out Timo Werner's current situation. It is possible that an offer will be made in January and I think Manchester United will spend more money to get his services from Leipzig. Apart from all that, do you think Manchester United needs to make this transfer?

Another former of chelsea player will be going to the united, really? I never expect manchester united to put their attention to the timo werner. manchester united is having hojlund at this moment and how can united try to replace him with a new striker like timo werner? Hojlund was not even making a single goal in the EPL. No doubt that if he must get a competitor to push himself to put more effort to improve his skill. It surprises me about how manchester united was starting to put non sense name as its target.
This club is always being linked to the non sense name. I don't even know what to say regarding how bad the names lined up by united but this is a terrible choice.
Manchester united shall aim to get a better striker than him but probably money has become the main problem.
I also agree with you because Timo Werner is not the right player for Manchester United at the moment and it would only be a waste of money after they often suffer losses by bringing in incompetent players. I feel this will only increase the burden on the Red Devils' budget and will certainly not necessarily improve Manchester United's performance.

Indeed, competition between players will lead to better performance, but this does not always run smoothly in a big team full of responsibility, like Manchester United. Hojlund still hasn't scored a single goal in the EPL and they want to add another bad striker to make up for this, isn't this too ridiculous?
How long will they be like that when other teams find more promising talents and even contribute more to the team. Manchester United will forever be like this if they don't really change the system they manage.

Man United  has a good player for attack who is Antonio Martial he has not just been able to meet up with the expectations of the club due to injuries since ten Hag was appointed head of the club affairs.

I do not see any difference with Timo Werner and Antonio Martail it's like bringing one more injured and damaged player into the club.  Timo will not be a nice addition  to Man United.  He remains a good player he cannot be trusted because he has same problems as Martail. So many talents doing well are out there Man United have never been  good with decision making.

There is also some excuse from Rashford fans saying  he has been poor from the death of his cousin.  Respect to the dead but Marcus Rashford had not be a good player for United this season.  Since his goal against Arsenal he has done nothing good and has nothing  to show.

They may have had problems in a few matches, but I still think Manchester City is one of the most consistent teams. Great teams and goals can happen one after another. Look, the fact that they made a spectacular comeback in the second half of the match after going into the first half trailing 2-0 yesterday and scoring 3 goals seems to prove this.
Man City spectacular achievement yesterday was a huge contribution from the coach and what I know is that Guardiola is a very intelligent coach, he always looks at his team weaknesses and sees the opponent weaknesses so naturally in the first half Man City had a little difficulty scoring because Haaland was always blocked by Leipzig defender but after halftime Guardiola discovered Leipzig weakness and attacked with a better strategy and was finally able to catch up with the defeat and end with a win.

I am sure in the first half many bettors thought that Man City would lose, but I was always strong enough to maintain my bet because I still believed that Man City still had the desire to win the prestigious UCL title.
Pep Guardiola has built a Manchester City squad with fairly even strength in all its lines and a strong performance that is strong for a team. Currently, the Manchester City team has character and identity so it is likely that this team will be strong for a long time to come.

Their match in the UCL actually wasn't that important anymore because Manchester City had ensured themselves of qualifying from the group, but what they showed by successfully coming back after being 2 goals behind in the first half was proof of the team's strong mentality.
So far Manchester City is still the favorite to defend its UCL title and I think the percentage for that is still quite large.

Man City already qualified from the last four matches playedin the Champions league,  last night  they played with that game in the first half of the game. Whoever  saw the first half of the game would know they lost chances  they'd have scored. Lewis and Erling Haaland efforts went too high above the cross bar.

Players like Xavi Simons and Openda put put a good character on the pitch. They should have made it three to secure the game.

Grealish was just on the wing Pep Guardiola must be angry at him, the substitution of Jeremy Doku into the game exposed how useless Jack Grealish was last night. He may be unhappy as he has not been able to express himself score goals on the pitch lately.
