It will be interesting if Arsenal wins it so we don’t see one team winning the league again and again everytime. Arsenal can surprise us this season even if Manchester City is experienced enough, if Arsenal can keep up the momentum then they can probably extend the lead even further.

Last season, Arsenal were also at the top of the standings for quite a long time. However, their mistakes kept repeating and their inconsistency made them overtaken by Man City at that time. If this season continues to be the same, it is possible that Arsenal will fail again. Even though we admit that Arsenal can always provide a good surprise, we also don't doubt the strength of the squad and Arteta's intelligence in managing the team. However, sometimes there is still inconsistency in them, so they sometimes fall during games that are not too tough. Hopefully this season won't be like that. However, the rivalry with Man City must also be considered because after all, Man City is a very strong rival and it would be dangerous if Arsenal slipped to losing once, maybe this will give Man City another chance to take over. top of the standings again. But at least, for the next few matches, Arsenal will have opponents who are not tough enough for them, while on the other hand, Man City is still taking turns getting tough opponents.

What's happening in the last season can't be the measure for the same thing to happen now. Although Arsenal failed to maintain their position in the previous season, doesn't mean it must happen in the current season as well. I think Arsenal squad is better now, they has a better capability to do a different thing. Sure, Arteta must take a big lesson from everything happened previously. So, he must have a plan to avoid the same thing to  happen in this season.

Manchester City’s squad is not as strong this season as their last season; the new players they added are yet to be fully in the team, and as a result of that, it’s affecting their performance even though they are still doing well this season. One of the main Arsenal problems last season was squad depth, and the second was the inability to beat Manchester City both home and away. But this season, even though it is becoming tough because so many teams are competing for the title, I still see Arsenal as a team to give them a challenge, if not even win the league, because their consistency in the competition matters.

Arsenal are bad at continuity. Manchester, on the other hand, is more experienced in terms of consistency.

This current group of City players are so used to winning the EPL, something that this current Arsenal team are lacking, this is why City are favorites to win the league and why they become unstoppable when we get to the later stages of the season. Arsenal are getting closer anyway, they might not win the league this season, but in a few years time they prolly would, they learnt their lessons last season and if they fail again this season, they'll learn more things along the way as well, the Arsenal hierarchy basically have to keep Arteta at the club and support him, sooner or later they'd be EPL champions again.

You are right but lets not underrate, Manchester city as a club may still make some mistakes which may end up costing the trophy this season even with their best and well experienced players.

By the way, since the Manchester city players are so used to winning, how come they allowed their game wit Chelsea to end in a draw? This should tell us that, any team can rise up from anywhere to win the title, it doesnt matter who's more experienced and who's not, it's all about effort and luck as well.

Not like it's been stamped somewhere that Manchester city will be the only team who would keep winning the title all seasons, this makes epl very boring to honest.

They are not hundred percent strong like they played last season. Point deduction will also strike City whenever they do not expect it. They have been accused of violations pointing at the rules.

Not just Man City,  Liverpool,  Arsenal and  Newcastle are clubs that will make it to the champions league and fight for who will won the league tittle. Pep Guadiola is so good that how he wants to play reflects on a good player. Akanji did not play the midfield welwith Rodri during the weekend he has been converted to defender.

Am I the only one who thinks Arsenal's performance was better last season than this season? They played better football at the beginning of last season, but I am not really certified by their performance this season yet. Even with the signings that Arsenal made, their performance was still better last season. Let’s just hope there is a difference in Arsenal's performance this season. Let’s hope they can maintain their current position till the end of the season, which I am not really sure will be possible yet. But since everyone is expecting improvement in Arsenal's performance due to new signings, let’s just wait and see.

I don't think so because after all if you look at the current statistics they are still quite good until now even though there are some matches that should be won instead end with a draw like against Fulham at the beginning of the season. But their performance has been quite good so far. Holding Tottenham and Chelsea and winning against Manchester City is actually something very good.
Moreover, they are now in the top position so I think it's a bit inaccurate to say the performance is worse than before.On other hand its still too early to say their performance is better or worse when compared to last season because we have to look at the whole season to compare now unless the difference is too significant to be seen but now it's not much different from last season.

Arsenal did try their luck and managed to become top of the standings, but I agree that they won't be first until the end of the season... Last season they had a 100% opportunity to win but god only knows why they couldn't do it... This season it seems to me that history will quickly repeat itself...

With one-quarter of the Premier League matches played this season, it will be hard for one of us to guess right the team to lift the PL title this season.
The teams, I am keeping an eye on are Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle. One of these teams would lift the PL trophy in my opinion.
If Arsenal keeps being consistent in winning their matches whether small or big, they will be lucky enough to possibly be able to contest for the premier league and UEFA titles every season. As for UEFA, Arsenal will still qualify for it next season. They will keep making it to the top position until someday they will be declared as the winner of the PL title.
Arsenal teams are beginning to have less doubt in themselves because they now believe they can win matches when they play with their full strength of not lose any points because it count

Before the international break, Chelsea celebrated a 4-4 draw against Manchester City like it was a win. I think Chelsea FC are sliding into a state of mediocrity, Chelsea standards have dropped drastically since Todd Boehly’s takeover. I hope their poor performance is only momentary because a huge amount of money has been spent in acquiring new players, yet they are not getting results. They lost to Brendford, Newcastle….how long do we have to wait for the results to start coming in?

There are real concerns about Arsenal over their chances of winning the Premier League title. Arteta admits that Arsenal must have more trials to become a strong team. This mentality is formed from experience and a strong desire to get better from season to season, but it is still difficult to perfect if Arteta himself does not have the mentality. Tomorrow they have a match against Lens and we'll see whether Arteta is able to bring his team to victory or lose again to the team coached by Franck Haise.

Newcastle United is struggling atm thanks to poor form and numerous injuries; and win a triumphant win against chelsea in the weekend, and a great performance against PSG tonight in the champions league tonight; i believe the Newcastle United is back and firing. They went to france and got only 1 point due to an undeserved Penalty kick awarded to the PSG team.

Arsenal are very confident in winning a trophy this season. Arsenal board appointed Mikel Arteta and he has brought out the best performance from the club, they're currently competing with Manchester City for the league title this season. Mikel Arteta have growned and gain solid experience in football specifically the EPL this season. He knows how to handle current matters on ground without facing any panic, he will keep scale through these difficult times and before anybody would realized, they're ontop of the English Premier League this season.

Arsenal are currently in their best performance and when they faced Brentford they appeared confident and won the match with a goal. havertz and ball control were very good and I think if Arsenal can maximize their performance I think they can win at least 2-0 against Brentford because at that time there were quite a lot of opportunities for shots on goal.

but Manchester City certainly wants to move Arsenal's standings because the points difference between Arsenal is 30 while Manchester City is 29. Arsenal must be able to win the match against Wolves to add points because the points obtained this time are not perfect because they are slightly different from Manchester City, of course Manchester City also won't stay silent so Arsenal have to be alert but I'm sure Mikel Arteta will be able to handle it.

We are yet entering the middle of season. Don't rush it. Arsenal has better performance last season as it was not even losing during first 33 matches. Arsenal never faced a lose last season since the early season. I must say arsenal's performance is far worst compared to the last season.
I think that this doesn't even matter and im concerning about the mentality owned by arsenal and the way of it's trying to win the trophy this time. Manchester city is having very good motivation at this moment to win EPL again and recording a record as back to back treble winners .

Well I agree that Manchester City's strength is not as great as in the past and we also know that several important players have left Manchester City because they want to look for new challenges and experiences in other leagues this clearly has an impact on Manchester City's strength even though it doesn't have a significant impact, that's why we see Manchester City losing in the last few matches. In history, currently Manchester City entered the final phase of their power that was built since a few years ago I mean Manchester City needs to regenerate to get the team's strength like last season and of course it requires a process. For next season Arsenal and Chelsea have a better future imo, because they have built the squad since 2 seasons ago and now they only need adjustments from each line.

They may have had problems in a few matches, but I still think Manchester City is one of the most consistent teams. Great teams and goals can happen one after another. However, Luton also of course drew against Liverpool, who were currently in 3rd place in the standings, so Luton of course still has hope of beating Brentford. But I bet on Brentford winning.
