701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BitConnect recover? on: February 06, 2018, 10:22:16 AM
People knew, and people were warned of it. Yet, people went like a heard of sheep for unnatural promised profit.
Bitconnect was a ponzi and took all funds when they knew they would be able keep the play going.
They'll never be back and it would be a success if the team be brought to court.

703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins list - which one is the best ?? on: February 03, 2018, 03:03:46 AM
i think monero is the best and maybe XVG would come in second? but governments will have a big headache about this type of coins existing and they will try to stop its operation.

And thats the beauty of these coins. Until people would give these token a value, there's no way for governments to crack it down. They can stop it's trading on some centralized exchanges but with the growth of decentralized p2p trading, we are into the new era of cryptocoins now.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask: Which coins/tokens are supported? on: February 02, 2018, 06:59:09 PM
Metamask like myetherwallet, will receive any ERC20 supported tokens. For you to view and exchange it, you'd need another app, like ethplorer and integrated exchange like etherdelta or IDEx. Until you have your private keys, all of the Eth and tokens are with you.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Registering EOS tokens on: February 02, 2018, 06:55:07 PM
Only the coins purchased directly through the crowdsale (eos.io) website will need to be registered.
If you purchase it on an exchange and transferred it from one exchange to another, you needn't register it.

If you need to register it, you can do it easily from myetherwallet by following this guide

706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT ICO SHOULD I INVEST MY SALARY IN? on: January 31, 2018, 07:47:48 PM
I will get my salary soon and would like to invest some  Smiley
Recommend me any ICO for long term. Or coins that just hit exchanges. I want to invest and forget about it for a year and see what will come out of this.

As for me, I'm very bullish on Skycoin and Neurogress. I was lucky to buy Sky for 4$. And Neurogress is ICO now. Don't know what will turn out of this but seems good. They develop a software for controlling devices with the power of thought. Strange that their telegram group has only 700 people although ICO starts soon. What I like about them is that they at least have some prototype of their technology.

Please tell me what you think about my picks, I also hold WAVES, NEO and IOTA, ETH and a little bit of BTC

You've got a nice judgment there.
For ICO look for a popular one, look at the team and the product/service they are talking about. It's progress and usability.
If you are going into ICO, go early to get the largest bonus.
If you've missed that, wait for it to hit the exchange and buy when the value decreases.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin has the most technical white-paper so far? on: January 31, 2018, 06:01:51 AM
Of many whitepaper's I've read the most complicated and technical piece without any bluffing is of 0x Protocol project.
I haven't still figured out what they are doing. I guess they can be summed up to a token issue platform.

Hi, I've joined the campaign. The avatar was too tall to fit so I customized it a bit.

My rank upgraded to Full member and I updated my signature accordingly.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is year of Crypto Exchange? on: January 08, 2018, 01:10:41 AM
We've started seeing exchange wars with Asian exchanges going global. This would increase the competition and hence user experience.
Decentralised exchanges though sounding good has its own limitations and the largest challenge for exchanges in 2018 is to maintain a predictable fee.
711  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Nicehash.com a shit or what? on: January 08, 2018, 01:03:49 AM
I am a new bitcoin miner mined around $18 usd in 12-13 hours on slushpool... i then started mining on nicehash and thought lets send the fund on nicehash wallet.. after doing that nicehash took $0.001 fee and i have now $1.79 balance !! is this a joke or what? as a new miner i was sitting the whole 12-13 hours infront of my machine in freezing cold weather... nicehash just fucked my ass :/ stay away from this shit everyone...

You should have watched the fees before making that deposit.
It surely has a funny fee structure, I think they're trying to discourage low deposits.

712  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Long Does Liqui.io Take To Touch A Support Ticket Usually? on: January 08, 2018, 12:59:10 AM
I was interested to the exchange as it provided interest on balance but after seeing its rating and reviews, I thought it's better to use a established exchange than to jump on something like on these comments https://www.bestbitcoinexchange.net/en/liqui-io/
713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloud minnig on: January 08, 2018, 12:55:20 AM
The most legit cloud mining around is genesis mining, but you can't make profit by investing a small amount as you need big hashrate to generate profits.

Genesis mining legit? Them being (according to themselves) a major player in mining various crypto currencies, but not sharing any actual proof of where their mining rewards flow into, is something that can be seen as legit? Don't make me laugh. They have refused to show that bit of proof for years now, and people as dumb as they are still make use of them. It's not that they can anonymously mine crypto currencies under the radar, everything that happens can be seen by basically anyone, but yet there is not even a single sign of Genesis mining.... These scammers don't deserve any vouching from people here.

I had a 2 year contract on genesis mining but will reach my payment threshold only after 950 days. So I won't be able to withdraw anything if I'm not willing to deposit more.
714  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alert: holytransaction.com can be a scam on: January 08, 2018, 12:53:18 AM
I used to use the wallet as it was one of the first to support multicurrency. I too experienced lack of support and bugs when trying to login and restting the password. I do still hold some LTC there.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Congestion on: January 08, 2018, 12:47:28 AM
Anyone else having issues moving ETH?  I'm still waiting for .1 from Nanopool from 3 AM this morning (4:30 PM now) and I withdrew another .1 from a server at 9 PM last night.  Both are still pending  Angry

There is nothing wrong with the eth network right now, it is congested, but it is normal anyways.

What can you expect from an altcoin that increased by more than 40% in just a week? Obviously that more people are now using the network, the usage is increasing too.

At some point, it is going to happen the same as it is happening on the bitcoin blockchain right now, and it is just starting.

Huge fees, large waitings, and so on.

I didn't think there was anything seriously wrong with the network, I'm just not used to seeing take nearly 24 hours to move it.  As I'm sure you already know, a lot can happen in 24 hours in this game.  The higher the price goes, the more issues we're going to have Sad

Glad it's just not me

Yup. With large ups and downs within a day, a congestion may bankrupt a day trader.
The ethereum network really needs a quick shake up and meanwhile the users should too focus on other alternatives.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Can I Buy Alt Coins Now?!! on: January 08, 2018, 12:44:17 AM
I think poloniex and bifinex do accept US users. Decentralized approaches like Etherdelta can be handy on buying ERC20 tokens.
If your IP is being blocked, using a proxy or VPN to visit exchanges won't get you any large trouble.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very very long term Hodling advice on: January 08, 2018, 12:37:19 AM
I believe etherum is one of the best investment to make at current time. It's value in future is nearly secure and has a high chance of exponential growth.
Other cheap Etherish coins too can be useful for long term like NEO, NEM, etc.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: View multiple ETH wallets on: January 08, 2018, 12:34:36 AM
I have several ETH wallets and their private keys. How can I view all their token balances in one website? Is there something I can putt all my private keys and then check the balances?

Thanks in advance.

You can use the CoinDash app at https://app.coindash.io  All you have to do is enter in all of your Ethereum addresses even the ones on the exchanges and it will calculate all the balances.  It's free/easy to use and you don't input any private keys so it's very safe.  There's probably other applications that are similar but this is the one that I have used and would recommend.

Great portfolio tool. I was looking for such app.

This would be nice solution, but where do I find a form where I can paste 10 addresses in? I can't find one on etherscan...
If you want to save your address for easy asses, you can use google spreadsheet.
719  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance vs Bitrex on: January 08, 2018, 12:28:49 AM
The crypto market is evolving. If the centralized exchanges doesn't offer cheaper fees and better user experience, people would start shifting towards other exchanges. Binance, Kucoin are the second generation exchanges.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 ICO listing sites / cryptocurrency offering lists on: January 02, 2018, 10:21:27 PM
Nice list. That would be an enough amount of reference for ICO comparison.
We'll get to know which coins are spending the most on ads too.
And which one have the largest media coverage.
