Had to poke my head in here when I saw the divs.

There is absolutely no reason, with confidence dropping the share price, why Ken or PR should not make an announcement regrading eASIC at this point.

It's astoundingly frustrating and makes me feel like NOTHING is happening to make this company successful since nothing whatsoever is being said by those in charge.

My Fear Uncertainty and Doubt are in hyperdrive.

There is one major problem I am concerned about, and that is that there are serious problems happening at the moment, and Ken is hiding behind the NDA to cover this up, hoping to resolve the problems and then suddenly say that everything is fine in the future.

ie. the silence is because there is only bad news, use the NDA to say 'we can't say anything'.

There are so many facets of ActM that have nothing to do with eAsic, yet they too are not being spoken about.

How is it possible that EVERYTHING is covered by the NDA ... impossible!!

The silence is deafening

What are the current plans for chip development?
ActiveMining is in the process of gathering necessary funds for paying NRE costs on its 28nm chip. We hope these funds to be gathered soon, so that chip production can start as soon as possible. Estimated dates after NRE payment are:
  • Chip samples delivered in 9 weeks;
  • Low-volume chip production starting in 12 weeks, using an e-beam process;
  • Normal volume chip production starting in 16-18 weeks.

The above is from Ken on the first page of this thread.

Ken has mentioned the bitcoins have have already been converted to fiat, and therefore I presume the NRE has been paid.

So ....... 9 weeks after NRE is paid, we should get news about chip samples being in hand.

Anyone hazard a guess as to when the NRE was paid, and so 9 weeks is when??

704  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 29, 2013, 11:21:41 AM
regardless of fake or not fake - the photo skews labcoin more to the non-scam side of the ledger.

The likely hood the the TH/s coming online, dividends within 2 weeks etc just shot up.

Good news!
705  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 29, 2013, 11:12:44 AM

706  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] Hosted-Mining (revenue shares) / BTCT.co on: August 28, 2013, 04:07:27 PM
when is the deadline?

Because this IPO is DOA
707  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 11:17:47 AM
Wasn't the first chip batch supposed to get labcoin around 6 TH/s?  If that estimate is now 3-4 presumably the chips didn't meet expectations, which has bigger implications for the "full speed" that's supposedly coming in October.

there are no chips in hand, therefore the figures are made up

anyone who disagrees, welcome to bet. I will put minimum 2x value on NO for every YES

Can someone ban this guy?

Exactly!!!

This guy needs to piss off - every post he makes is promoting some lame bet - take your gamble promotions somewhere else!

709  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 10:14:43 AM
Now? With dates set for dividend? 0.006+

yup - with chips in hand, board on the way, hashing at 3-4TH in less than 2 weeks, and a time set for dividends to begin

.005 and more easily
710  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 09:59:56 AM
Status update

We have received the first chip batch and we're working full speed on finalizing the controller board design, mining will start no later than 10 September with about 3-4 TH, and to reach the full speed within October. Dividend payments will start on the same week.
We again remind everyone that the team shares won't be sold. We understand the investors concerns and we will be publishing pictures of the installment as soon as we are able to, before mining will start.

aaaaaaaaawesome company Smiley
711  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 28, 2013, 09:22:22 AM
speaking of fixed costs ...

At 60-70TH/s - what would be the costs of electricity, hosting (the DC) and other fixed costs??

What about at 500TH/s?
712  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 28, 2013, 08:59:49 AM
this black void of silence is not healthy!

Shares are down quickly, and dumping has started

At only .0046 on btct
Bidding at just .00325 on BF

Pain is on the way
713  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 07:30:06 AM
labcoin shares will be close to IPO .001 before this bounces back up ... IF it bounces back up
714  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 28, 2013, 06:48:44 AM

Anyway, it's obviously not good that TheSweed wasn't able to get a hold of him. What we need is a regular schedule for when we'll get updates.  And not "sometime next week" but "we'll get a report every Thursday at 8PM CDT"
Yes. How can he not "get a hold of Sam"? Makes no sense. He obviously talked to them about providing an update "early this week". They knew what was going down, TheSwede is their PR guy.

This right here is the biggest concern.

Sam IS the guy we need to hear from, yet he is ALWAYS MIA!

Does not bode well
716  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 02:22:27 AM

Yes the selloff was already happening when TheSwede swooped in to try to save the share price. lol

Exactly!

The share price was already going down from .0035-36ish overnight, down to low .003's

So it was already on the way down because of the lack of news etc

Shareholders were already letting this stock go ... so there still has been no news ... so the shares are still going to be go down. Just more slowly that the sudden drop that just happen.

But, the price IS going down
717  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 28, 2013, 02:10:34 AM
Buy price is already back up to .0033.  People were having buy orders filled at 0.0021.

I moved some more BTC into btct.co, it'll be interesting to see where the price is in an hour.

It's kind of amazing to see millions of dollars worth of value disappear based on a forum comment. You can see why CEOs and so on in "the real world" are highly limited in terms of what they can say about their companies.

What forum comment?
718  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: August 25, 2013, 01:57:28 PM
