701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 08, 2022, 11:22:15 PM
Raza, a big player for Zimbabwe. Scored 100+ runs as well as took 3 wickets allowing 56 runs bowling 10 overs. Even in this match Bangladesh might've never thought of Zimbabwe winning the first match and now it is once again a big blow. Bangladesh needs to come up strong in the third ODI, if not a whitewash is gonna happen.
Bangladesh team needs a lot of hard work to come up as a stronger team...
Everytime after a match they face so much criticism and there is so much suggestions and ideas coming from the people who might not have played cricket but think they are expert of their field.
If it is an individual and he is just representing himself then it is quite okay that no one gives suggestion. The team is representing a country and this means they are playing on favour of the entire population of the nation. This gives them the right to make criticism and give suggestions, and even we are not expert on it. But, looking the performance and mistakes done our mind says he should've done that change by then and it could've increased the winning chance. This is just an assumption, same is with others.
That is correct they represent the country but sometime the criticism is too harsh...
Bangladesh team has hardly been able to perform well.
They need proper training or may be new induction as well.

703  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: August 07, 2022, 11:53:31 PM

It's all a conspiracy theory to try to confuse people about Bitcoin's true origins. It wasn't created by the government, neither a single person as many believe it to be. It was created by a group of smart people with libertarian values in mind. I think Hal Finney, Nick Szabo, Wei Dai, and a few other cypherpunks were involved in the creation of Bitcoin. They've decided to go under the nickname of "Satoshi Nakamoto" in order to avoid bringing unwanted attention. You think governments would launch a free (as in liberty) and open cryptocurrency anyone can use worldwide? If they did that, then they would've "shut down" the banking system already. But we all know banks are still in play, making us certain that this is nothing more than a conspiracy theory.

Again, it doesn't matter who created the pioneer cryptocurrency as long as it works as intended. All we need is decentralized and censorship-resistant money no one can stop in order to achieve worldwide prosperity. Bitcoin's been doing fine since day one, so it's likely it'll last for generations. Just my thoughts Grin
I like what you have stated.
And why would Government let the control go in the hand of people. The money matter is very tricky stuff. There are lots of scam and fraud involved too. Even so many members in the forum complaint their wallet being hacked.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: August 07, 2022, 11:53:11 PM

It is true Chinese people are well connected with their traditional activities. This is the reason why gambling got more importance during the early stages. Gambling in the early days were used as a means of entertainment, but in the later days the change happened. Surely there'll be some Chinese people who doesn't gamble, and if you go through different games they play in their regions it'll be very different and interesting.
That's true and it's a fact.
Regardless of where he lived when he had a lineage from China, this is still very closely related to the culture they follow and this is actually quite good because indeed they are one of the things that must be followed when talking about country and culture which is today for some people. like this is not really needed.

Gambling there has existed for a long time but there are still some rules that can indeed be said to be inherited from their ancestors which they often do in gambling until now such as doing something ritual first or indeed following their Feng Shui flow so that they can be in harmony and get profits in gambling (according to their beliefs).
Gambling is very popular in China and India.
They have that in their culture and they are legally allowed to it. Unlike other islamic countries in South Asian region like Pakistan, Bangladesh

Now there is another big problem coming up - since the world is interconnected and there after-effects are long lasting. Some thing happens in one part of the world and country in the remotes corner faces it.
The ripple effect lasts for a very longer period of time.
Now we have another one - about Taiwan and China coming in - and US representative are already there - hola.

What else is new! the world is already experiencing a lot of hardship as a result of both political, social or economic problems coming up every time. so whatever is coming from china and Taiwan will only come to join the already chaotic world.
And as for the @op, some of us already familiar with his 'free speech' he has a lot to say.  Wink
News outlets needs a story to tell otherwise they won't be in business, if you don't find them interesting it is a matter of changing the channel with just a click.
If we look back how much damage we have made to the much hurting world.

706  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore to unveil plans to becoming a Bitcoin hub on: August 07, 2022, 11:52:23 PM

Singapore is a risk-taker country and they're always open for innovations and adaption of anything that is related to the latest technology. That's the reason why most of them are experiencing financial freedom. If more countries will also be brave enough to accept change and adopt crypto, the future of the economy will never be put at risk.
I love everything about Singapore. It is wonderful country - I have been there for conferences and meeting
Whatever they do - they do it with perfection and effort. I am sure if they will be after bitcoin they will do it with great zeal and zest.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: August 03, 2022, 04:08:55 PM
The cryptocurrency market is much more unstable than the fiat currency, bond, or stock market. Before investing in cryptocurrencies, I recommend you think about it very well -- you can lose all your money in one day. I am studying at a medical college. To diversify our studies, a new finance department has been introduced
Crypto is very volatile - you can get the profit and than on the other hand it is very risky too.
Jumping in the pool of crypto without research and knowledge will put you in double trouble - so be very careful before you make a decision.
708  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore to unveil plans to becoming a Bitcoin hub on: August 03, 2022, 04:05:01 PM
Bitcoin is legal tender at El Salvador and yet not many people actually use it as a currency, personally I would prefer a country that even if they did not recognized bitcoin as a legal tender the reality on the ground was that you could use bitcoin to buy whatever you want, and I also believe that Singapore is a country in which something like this could be possible as long as the government is ready to try integrate bitcoin into their economy as much as they could and not only concentrate on trying to bring exchanges to their country.
If Singapore is going to legalise the bitcoin and make it a business hub. They are surly going to bring a great change to the crypto world and many members will turn to the Singapore for it.
Singapore is great country for business and for trade. They are surly going to make a difference to the bitcoin world.

If all the solutions you listed was easy then Europe would have taken those steps. But these solutions are better said than done. The world is interconnected and interrelated with one nation depending an another. Natural resources are not distributed evenly, hence nation would continue to depend on another for survival.
Now there is another big problem coming up - since the world is interconnected and there after-effects are long lasting. Some thing happens in one part of the world and country in the remotes corner faces it.

710  Economy / Economics / Re: EU countries agree deal to cut use of gas this winter on: August 03, 2022, 03:50:33 PM
I agree that this is their only choice, however this is going to affect their citizens a lot, with a lower supply even if the demand is somehow artificially lowered the price of gas will go up since there are limits to how much they can lower their consumption, so the EU better hopes that the winter that is coming is benevolent with them otherwise they may face shortages which will put the lives of some people at risk at the regions where the cold is the harshest.
At this point, the EU is banking on hypothetical scenarios. They are assuming that they will be able to secure more gas supplies from non-Russian sources such as the United States and will be able to lower the gas consumption within the EU by a large amount. And there is no guarantee that things will go as planned. For example, the fire at one of the LNG facilities in the United States has reduced American LNG supplies. EU's plan to restart coal and nuclear powerplants to make up for the shortfall from gas fired power plants have also run in to obstacles.
I am not saying that it would be enough because we all know it won't be enough and there will be shortage, that is as clear as day. But, when nations get together to decide on ruining another nation, that matters more to them then giving up gas. They can give up gas, oil, wheat and many other things just to make sure that Russia doesn't kill any more Ukrainians.

If you allow them to continue to do this, then what does it say about another nation killing some other innocent people? If you allow Russia to do this, then you are telling the world that it is okay and nobody will mind and we will keep buying more from you. So sanctions do matter, cutting gas do matter, not working with Russia ever again do matter because it is sending a message.
Hola. We have a new topic coming in . . Taiwan and China. Now China is getting ready to strike Taiwan and US representative have reached Taiwan to show their support like the way they have shown their support to Ukraine. And placed the whole world in the whirlpool of inflation. Now there is another emerging. And it will be another mess soon.
Let's get ready.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction isn't the right option on: August 03, 2022, 03:46:57 PM
The effectiveness of sanctions cannot be seen immediately.

That is what I wanted to point out. Half a year has passed. Those who made sanctions against Russia is now in a worst situation than before sanctions. When then those sanctions would start to give first positive effect on those who nominate them?

Your phrase means that we just need to wait and Russia will start to feel negative impact from sanctions. But Russia isnt sitting still. Who knows what they are doing and developing right now? Lots has moved from Russia, including foreign agents and informers. No we know less what is going on in Russia.
Now who is next in line. That is Taiwan. And I have seen 80 years old representative coming to Taiwan and supporting them for the war against China.
Now they are ready to create another mess after Russia.
Let every country fight their own battle and leave the whole world alone for time being.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction isn't the right option on: August 01, 2022, 03:47:35 PM
Regarding Russia, the world has become a little smarter, although it has not yet reached the desired level ... But already now, in order to weaken those who decided to repeat the path of Nazism, they are introducing restrictions that weaken the economy. These are sanctions. But after Russia collapses (and this is a matter of a fairly near future), this under-empire will be for many decades to come, eat grass and pay debts, for death, terror, violation of moral / ethical standards and other crimes against humanity. Yes, they were lucky when they unleashed a massacre in Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and other countries - then they got away with it. Now it won't come off!
The thing is - it is true that the sanction is not the right option.
I said that so many times earlier. EU is not putting Russia in trouble but they are putting their own self and other countries in trouble.
They have pressurised Pakistan and Sri Lanka to vote against Russia - and when they didn't - they changed the government- what a mess going on those two countries too.
713  Economy / Economics / Re: EU countries agree deal to cut use of gas this winter on: August 01, 2022, 03:41:10 PM
Due to the shortage of gas in EU base on reduction of gas supply from Russia, EU countries have come to agreement to voluntarily cut the reduce of gas consumption this winter by 15%.
EU countries assumed that Russia might cut the supply that pumps through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which runs into Germany.

Do you think this will help solve the EU gas shortage for now

Time is changing - do you know we live in extreme condition and we have most of the time face gas load shedding in winter and its very bad. You are shiving - you cannot cook food and you cannot warm water.
EU has placed themselves in very sorry state.
714  Economy / Economics / Re: Too much talk about gaz food news talk too much on: August 01, 2022, 03:37:36 PM

715  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: August 01, 2022, 03:35:24 PM
When financial problems occur, the easy and instant thing to do by anyone is to make online loans, they do not care about high interest, when the loan is approved then what they get is not full as proposed for reasons for administrative costs, and other costs, in my opinion this is Mistakes that will make us miserable because we have to pay a bunga that can reach 15% per month.
THere is another solution - where one can take loan and check the terms and conditions and pay a few installment and payoff all the loan in one go.
But - one should try to avoid taking loans as much they could and bet on the money they have in their pocket. It easy to lose the money you have rather than losing others money and then paying off the other loans.
716  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore to unveil plans to becoming a Bitcoin hub on: August 01, 2022, 03:29:29 PM
It is very possible for Singapore to become a major bitcoin hub because they are highly developed and they seem to have everything in places like a huge airport that connects to nearly every place around the world, fast internet, and it's also one of the top financial hubs in the world.

There's still a huge difference between El Salvador and Singapore. El Salvador though not economically rich, it officially recognized bitcoin as a legal tender making it a very healthy nation for bitcoin investors and believers.

Singapore is a great county and if they have decided to do so . . they will rock the. market.
Thank you for sharing the news and I will do my research over and and find ways to benefit myself.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: August 01, 2022, 03:15:03 PM
As a newbie in the crypto environment, with a keen interest in making a profitable investment in crypto, where would you best advice me to invest in 2022. Will an investment in bitcoin now still be profitable to me or investing in other coins is what you best advice? I understand that people are sometimes reserved as per not wanting to give financial advice to avoid being blamed if it goes wrong, but I will try to go through all the responses I can get and highlight the answers that are repeated for consideration.

In my perspective, even though the market is not good. Investing in cryptocurrency is a better idea. For me, you should divide your assets where you want to invest. Bitcoin is a great idea where to invest. You can also invest in other token for you to have a good profit
All those who are into crypto for long have good info of the bitcoins.
But for the newbie. This is a different situation - you have to make a proper research and do the right thing. It's not as easy as just to invest and you get double money the next moment.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro currency going down on: August 01, 2022, 03:11:23 PM

If I had to guess, I'd say there is a 70% chance of invasion.
The analysts I follow believe that there is a 100% chance of invasion but they think it could happen when it gets colder to see what happens to EU with an energy crisis and soaring prices.
Time and again there comes the situation which are unpredictable.
European union has ruined their economy and also they have created so much problems for the world but putting so many sections on the Russia - now everyone is bad situation.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: August 01, 2022, 03:06:05 PM

In investing then not all would really be that perfect or ending up on positive which means that mistakes is inevitable or simply talks about error because you cant really make yourself to be profitable all of the time.

Money management will really be always suggested and it would really vary into each person.Effectiveness will depend on someones decision and other related things.
Money management techniques come with time. Most of the time when you suffer a big loss and you are hit hard by the society.
Then you learn how important money is and you are your only true friend. You have to stand-up tall for your rights and stay on the right track.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: How much food can you store for survival?3 on: August 01, 2022, 03:00:27 PM

If you are not lactose intolerant, powdered milk could be a good alternative to still have proper intake of calcium and can also be used when eating cereals. Since you're diabetic, find a product of that is low in sugar. Fresh egg can last a couple of days and it's also quick and easy to cook. Canned tuna has no carb but rich in protein so it can be a great addition if you can eat those type of food.
FOr many reason many people are turning to keto for weight and diabetes control
Life is good if we eat simple food and live a simple life.
And care for the people around. Life will be really good.
