702  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting vs dice betting on: March 25, 2015, 11:26:09 PM
I see that majority if not all prefer sports betting to dice, provided they have knowledge of  good bets  Cheesy

The majority say the prefer sports betting to dice but i have a feeling this is only a small amount if we looked at bets wagered and amount played we would find that dice has quite a lot more players playing and losing or winning obviously lol but overall more players on dice sites. I like both and will play what ever i feel like at the time probably the same as most of us..

Then my friend you are not understanding what i said well enough, i will try and simplify it further. It is not that anyone is forcing you to gamble it is known by them that you have a high chance of doing so anyway, why do you think they pay you in the casino account when they don't need to?

Oh you are paid well that is a good campaign not the best but good would be better if they paid you into your personal wallet but no problems to me.

High chance? I don't think so if you're really an addicted gambler then its really a high chance that you're going to gamble it. Lets take a look at bit-x its not a gambling site but the payments are made to the sites wallets.

I won't get into talks about the serial spamming campaign, as you know but decided to go off topic it is not a gambling site but as you brought it up why do you think they pay you in that wallet?

Hint>> It is because they want you to try their site  Cheesy Why do you think a gambling site pays you in your gambling wallet lol Yes sherlock a high chance or why would they pay you into that wallet?

You don't need to be addicted to "gambling" to want to play their site it is how easy it is to play that is why they pay you in that wallet because they want you to play their if you can't understand that do not reply.

To get back on topic i am down from gambling over all but i am up from poker quite a bit, it was the flashing lights that got me i never gambled except poker but the more time you spend in the casino the more chance you lose your money and that is why they pay into that wallet because they also know.

EDIT: Please pm me what i have failed to understand ty
705  Economy / Gambling / Re: EARNED BTC on: March 25, 2015, 10:49:49 PM
So far I have been gambling with CLAM on Just-Dice and am in a loss right now.

Then i think its time to call it as a loss and stop. If you dont want to dig a deeper hole

I am not sure you have played enough dice or gambled to call that, it is never time to call it a loss and stop until you have no more spare cash and even then you may dip into the money you actually need to live, the life of a gambler..

The people who win a lot already have a lot of money because its pretty much impossible to win like 1.000 bitcoins with 1
It is possible to double your winnings. I've seen people who participated in sig campaigns or giveaways and doubled that free cash gambling. For example someone from Coinroyale got 0.04 from the campaign last week, gambled and took out 0.07, or something like that.

But for every person that gets that doubled the next 1 or 2 lose their money and that is the circle of life and that is why a lot of campaigns pay you in your gambling account because in the end they win  Angry Find a good campaign that pays you in your own account.

I fail to see your point. Nobody forces you to gamble with campaign money, you are free to send it to your wallet if you like, but since it's free why not try your luck?

Thank you for the advice but I'm quite happy with this campaign. Since it pays 0.16 for just 80 posts a month it's going to be hard to find better rates Wink

Then my friend you are not understanding what i said well enough, i will try and simplify it further. It is not that anyone is forcing you to gamble it is known by them that you have a high chance of doing so anyway, why do you think they pay you in the casino account when they don't need to?

BTW this is pretty much a paved way for total financial control and surveillance, but on the other hand this initiative will definitely raise awareness and maybe acceptance of bitcoin. Perhaps we should rename BTC as "Freedom" Smiley.

You are probably right about it paving the way to total financial control which they pretty much have now anyway in all honesty, this is also what i think the harder they try cut bitcoin out or copy it is just going to make it stronger. I like the name freedom and that suits the project an awful lot. Long live bitcoin/freedom Wink  It is time the old makes way for the new..
707  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WARNING] A personal warning to you all. on: March 25, 2015, 09:30:30 PM
You probably have more fairer odds on the horses.

That's where my money goes, pokies/slots, roulette, poker, etc don't phase me, betting on an animal gives you more chance Wink

That is quite true especially if you go to the track and bet on them live that is a nice day out, i have a horse racing track at the end of my road and a dog racing track about a 5minute walk away. To be honest i don't use them as much as i used to but they are a good day/night at the dogs  Smiley

Hows it been going since your loss op have you managed to get back on track and not let it get you down to much?

Hope so.
708  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting vs dice betting on: March 25, 2015, 11:58:08 AM
Hello everyone I have been gambling on sports recently and dice too. I personally feel sports are better because there you have use knowledge too and not just luck. While dice is fast and has very small house edge, what you think ?

Some Dice sites only have a small house edge of say 1%, to me it all comes down to whether that is what you fancy playing at that pacific time i enjoy poker so i won't be going to a dice site if i want a game of poker would i, same as if i wanted to play dice would not go to a poker site. I think it is all personal opinion because at the end of the day it is your money/Bitcoin you are risking. Just enjoy which ever it is you choose  Cool
709  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Decentralized Army on: March 25, 2015, 11:53:36 AM
Hows about a decentralized army which instead of regular armies could protect their baker using the Darkleaks back-end code (www.darkleaks.com)?

People would pledge a small amount of bitcoin to claim a protection for an irregular army. This would ampute more power from governments who are illegitimate imao.

What do you think? Discuss.

Who do you employ because you will end up providing a basement kids monthly/yearly scam, because you are not finding a legit mercenary team on the Dark. If you could how could they be trusted?

They work for the highest bidder so what if someone comes along and offers more in cold hard cash than people would like to pay?

Also it won't be decentralized will it every army or group going has a chain of command so it could never work.

It really does not worry me because SDC is going a completely different direction and it's better so i can wait being first don\t mean much dark was first anonymous coin..real impressive they are.

I agree with you first mover is not always the best mover but in this case it might well be as the guy behind it is good at what he does but anyway like you say they are going different directions and one is going to be legal the other illegal, so if you feel something illegal is better then hats of to you bro i hope it does well for you and whoever is going to be buying from there. Good luck.

On a worldwide scale,  which is what these markets will be used on;  I ask you to define "illegal".

Do we take a consensus of all things illegal and not illegal in all respective countries; to set what should be illegal for the entire world?

Well illegal for me may not be illegal for you so things like weed not so bad, but then hardcore drugs are illegal around most of the world the same as selling cloned cards, fake id,s, guns, and pretty much most of the stuff your users are going to be selling on a 'silk road' decentralized marketplace.

I don't really care to be honest as i like the idea of freedom to an extent, of course there are lines they should not be crossed.

Are you able to filter what is going to be sold on the markets? Decentralized i am assuming no please correct me if i am wrong but that could/will lead to trouble.
711  Economy / Speculation / Re: If btc -> moon and you no longer need to work, what will you do with your time? on: March 25, 2015, 01:39:24 AM
Homeless shelters for youth, free radical education to as many as possible.

If you are not joking then this is one of the best things i have seen on this forum, thanks for giving me faith in this place.

If it moons and no need for me to work i have a change of plan i will join forces with the above and help the youth live better and prepare life beyond what we offer.

We will be a good team   Wink

Poll up! please vote for what timeframe you want to see Smiley

Voted 5minutes i tend to turn up make a small bet from the faucet and instead of waiting around i log out v=because the amount of time would have to wait. Glad to hear that the time limit will hopefully be quite a bit shorter soon enough.  Wink
714  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 25, 2015, 01:17:35 AM
waiting for $100 is like wasting your time. i doubt it will even go below $200
current price makes me buying a certain amount of btc per month.

Your not the only one i have been buying what i can afford it bitcoin each month for awhile now, while it is at these levels i am as happy as i would be at the $500, once it goes the days of getting in this cheap are gone just hope we have enough stocked.

No op i am not waiting for $100 but if it comes i will risk it and break number one rule investing more than i can afford to lose just this once and hopefully that pays off  Cheesy

what a fucker. locks the topic to turn the knife.

Yeh the guy is the dirtiest person i have met on this forum he is by far the worst of them all a complete and utter $%*& he pretends he cares and says he will fix the coin for free, then he steals 20+% of the supply dumps all what it staked and gave the rest away to his buddies on irc so all the original investors get screwed.

Then has the cheek to stroll around giving abuse to people thinking he is the greatest with his 1 and 2 sat coins should have known this was going the same way  Shocked

Say HELLO to the worlds first decentralized markets!!  Btw, in addition to the markets being decentralized, it's even more important that no one can get scammed. Enter smart contracts and double deposit escrow.

Ok the markets are now live for anyone to use and beta test! Here is the website with the download links below.

http://bitbaymarket.net/

We will mirror this on bitbay.market and thebitbay.org shortly...

Hey everyone, now anyone can test the markets. Currently, only the "custom template" is available. The rest are to come very soon. Please let me know if the linux build works on all platforms.

The new website, http://www.blackhalo.info contains new links and supports all platforms.

For those who asked me to test a few days ago sorry i didnt reply, i was just getting this ready.

So... say hello to decentralized markets. Enjoy.
yeah but its not the same SDC is also an anynomous currency and communication platform and the market is in the wallet...one platform to do everything..no one else is even close to doing what SDC is doing.

Done decentralized market is here just because you are not going to easily buy hardcore drugs and guns, fake id's etc on there does not mean it is not worthy. Why do we need a new silkroad anyway lol Life is not about that crap that is sold on there it is actually bad for you i will have you know  Shocked Grin Cheesy Bitbay the first proper decentralized market with smartcontracts can i get a amen  Huh
717  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 24, 2015, 11:20:45 PM
I would sell my bitcoins if i could go back 5-7 days and sell them all at 290-295 then buy them back in the next day or 3 and hopefully make a nice quick little profit like the crafty whales  Cheesy
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i doned it i buried my private keys in concrete underground no one will know on: March 24, 2015, 07:11:06 PM
i hath blanked out certain bits for security reasons i and rill not post my public address becoz its the only address i have i doth not like to store bitcoins all over the place and i doth not want to link my address here with someone who works on an exchange so they can hire a hitman behind closed doors to to HIT me or blackmail or hostage me in addition

i hath created the key in linux offline environment i bought a cheap printer just to print the key and i burned it afterwords to destroy "smart" printer memory i think now...

now i rill truecrypt my HD that i use for linux dedicated to bitcoin addresses only and then then i just needth to wait it out for many years
Wow it seems you are treating this like you are hidding a fortune. Mind telling us how many BTC are you hiding on that bunker?

Just a few posts above he tells you he has buried 50bitcoin and i am not sure how many dogecoin but that is still quite a bit, there are definitely better ways to store your coins safely but if that is what makes him feel safe then it is a job well done imho.

Thanks for the updates op and the picture although i can't really make it out to be honest but niceone anyway, i have a question how long would it take you to get that back up if you needed to in an emergency?
719  Economy / Gambling / Re: EARNED BTC on: March 24, 2015, 06:50:30 PM
The people who win a lot already have a lot of money because its pretty much impossible to win like 1.000 bitcoins with 1

Interesting.
I would like to see some photos of this project if you have them  Grin

Agreed.

An address would be nice too.  Smiley

Don't mind. He's a troll for sure since his story reminded me of & linked me to the one of user claiming Lloyds stole his BTC.
 Grin

What so you mean he has just come up with that for the sole purpose of what exactly to make friends? I have to agree with you though the story does sound a little far fetched and for a newbie he must of had quite a lot of coin to go to that trouble. You are probably right but i don't understand why he would lie and waste his time are people really that low lol Proof is what we need now op please provide either digger or mixer receipt  Cheesy
