Has anyone cashed out yet on http://freebitcoinwin.com?

I'm curious, since on the site it says there last payout was 2014-02-12 for 0.000000000 BTC.

Looks strange to me.

This is thought to be a phishing site, it was briefly on the list and then taken off after concerned were raised, including by the operators of FreeBitco.in.
Freebitcoinwin is a rip-off of the look of FreeBitco.in.

Remember to never use the same passwords on multiple sites.

I saw the warning from freebitcoin, but I've ran into a lot of sites that look the same and i swear I read something that it was an ok site. As for passwords, I have a certain password I use for every site, gets confusing after a while though.  Cheesy

Thanks for the update, I'll be removing it from my sig.

So is this pool really up and running again?
704  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: February 19, 2014, 07:05:17 AM
I cannot get mine to work for the life of me, can someone tell me what is wrong with the setup?

Could be a firewall issue.  I had a similar problem and it turned out my firewall was preventing the cube from connecting.

thanks for responding so quickly, i just disabled Eset to no avail, it still is doing the same thing. Sad

I'm sure someone will come along soon enough here that will be able to help.  Unfortunately my knowledge is limited when it comes to this stuff.

Good luck.

So this thread now explains why I'm stuck in verification limbo.  Are there any decent Canadian exchanges out there that are legit and easy to use?

All I want to do is put enough money into bitcoin to buy from Bitmain.

I'm curious. My BE Cube is running at 37200 on high.  Can I make that higher? I see some numbers running around 420, can all run that at the same time?

Just came across the site, and it definitely interests me.  I've been trying to use bfgminer, but it keeps shutting down when I enter the info.  I must be doing it wrong, or does the site not work with bfg miner?

If it does, what am I missing?  What should I enter when it asks for the url?

I'm more than willing to sacrifice something at this point.   Cheesy

This looks good and it's been running for a while. I might join one day. Smiley

The newbie lotto?  Don't wait too long, because it is only for newbies ( account less than 6 month's old ) and of course it is free.
Even though one doesn't win much in the daily draw, one wants to have their name in the database for the bonus draw that happens
now and then, where much more can be won.

Question.  So does than mean I'm entered into the newbie lotto for up to 6 months or just the one draw after I gave you my wallet address?

Also, the bonus draw, do I have to enter my wallet address somewhere, or is it in there from when I gave it to you previously?

Cheers!

Finally some good luck

if only all blocks were like this! Grin

Saw that. That's the fastest I've seen since I've been around here.  Wonder what the record is for the fast in  the past few months?

Either way, looks like we're paying for it now, almost 29 hours.  Cry

There's an issue with the mining server. I'm in touch with the data center, trying to resolve this ASAP.

Thanks for the update.  Will be waiting patiently for it to go back up.  For now though, off to btc guild.  Cry

*edit*

Of course as soon as I switch over, it goes back up, LOL!
714  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you consider OKpay to be trustworthy? Why or why not? on: February 14, 2014, 10:30:43 PM
I became convinced OKPay were scamming because I could not get any information from customer support regarding a £5k deposit. It seems my money got left behind when they changed banks for processing GBP payments but they never told me this. Eventually I got my money back when my bank made some calls for me. To be fair to them, I don't think they were scamming me now but the level of information from customer service was very poor. This was a lot of money for me and they just could not tell me where it was!

Good to hear you got your money back, but yeah, that would scare the crap out of anybody. I've read so many bad things about them and since there seems to be sooooooo many scam sites.  I'm nervous about putting money in that I may never get back.

bitminter has been totally hacked.
On 3 different occasions, I have logged to find my payout address changed.
Worst security EVER!!!!

any proof to this?

I just checked mine, and it's fine.

716  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: February 14, 2014, 12:16:13 AM
Cube now hashes perfectly for 15-20 mins, then 'dead'. Still power issue ?
What have you changed since last time. Is it the same cube that is failing?

And I've said it a million times, use slush's stratum proxy. Its so much simpler because in this case you don't know if its BFG.
using slush's stratum proxy now. purchased this TT 650 W, model SP-650P  (someone mentioned a few posts before it worked for them) It says uses single +12v rail. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153173
hashing from the last 5 mins. lets see if this lasts. Will also shut down my android phone if it stops now.
This one also stops after 5-10 mins (only one green light remain on the cube, fan is still working, but no other lights ON, and can't access the config page).
Give me a PSU name and I get that one tomorrow!
Corsair **anything** 500-750W. 1000s of them round the world powering ASIC equipment.
Perfect. Got the corsair cx modular 750 W
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-cx-series-modular-cx750m-750w-atx-power-supply-black/8324202.p?id=1218872214205&skuId=8324202
My cube has been up for 15+ hrs now. It was just the PSU, and I opened and closed my cube atleat 25 times.

You guys think I can run 2 cubes with this?
[/quote]

I looked at your specs here:

http://www.corsair.com/us/media/cms/manual/corsair-psu-spec-table-091813.pdf. It should work though, according to that you should be running 62A. Hard to say from this though as the stats are different there than what they are on the box of the one I have (CX500)

Look on the back of your box and see what the max load for amps are under the +12v column. For 2 cubes, you're going to to need at least 56A.

It does show 4 PCI-e cables as well, so you'll be fine for plug in cables.
717  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Jalapeno 5 GH/s on: February 13, 2014, 09:01:07 AM
Im just getting into BitCoin mining and was wondering if it would be worth getting the Jalapeno 5 GH/s mining hardware? I would also be getting a solar power setup making the cost of mining minuscule-nothing.  How long would it take for Jalapeno to make itself up or is there any better equipment for a reasonable price?  All the information I can find is from 6-12 months ago when people were guesstimating difficulty rises, but when it comes to present day I have no idea what I should or shouldnt buy.  ANY info at all would be a GREAT help! Thanks!

Are you getting  the solar power setup for free? Can't see that being cheap.

I'd say the time is now to buy some Antminer S1's from Bitmain. They only take bitcoin and I don't she them getting any cheaper than they are now.

Pity they don't have any IN STOCK, and don't allow advanced orders...

They had them yesterday.  I would have bought a couple if i figured out how to cash some $ into bitcoin soon enough.
719  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you consider OKpay to be trustworthy? Why or why not? on: February 13, 2014, 07:23:13 AM
Jeez I should have read this thread before sending them money through Sofortbanking which is now "on hold" (even though Sofortbanking is instant).

So glad I found this thread before I gave them too much of my info and/or any money.
720  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: $2500-10,000 - Help Me Choose a Miner on: February 13, 2014, 06:46:01 AM
Either buy some coins, or get the Antminers from Bitmain.

antminers sold out apparently right now.  I bet it has something to do with the price of BTC though.
