I have been mining there. But if I look at the buys at poloniex, there are only a few actually using the pool. Time for a Hashcows/Poloniex mining 'contest'....  I am still trying to buy my own gridseed or fury to mine myself... but things are slow... Should we re-visit the group buy idea? Count me in, if there is enough community interest. |

Perhaps just one feature: POS... if only to protect the network... maybe it could be done the way 'orbit' coin was done.... 0 percent POS. POS just for network security... problem is I have not the skill to implement such a change. The reason I said I don't want any 'features' is because BTC itself is enough... so many bells and whistles on new coins... Are you watching XBC? They did a 50 BTC ( IPO ) on that coin. Everyone who bought in is up considerably... however the DEV made like 50 BTC. It is exactly the same as PMC with less coins.... our DEV's "IPO" made him exactly ZERO BTC.... in fact PMC is the first 'airdrop' in a sense... he gave them all away.... ( Speaking of our DEV, I did get a message from him, he lives in a farming community and is really busy at this time of the season. I would like to hear more from him, but he is still watching us run with the ball ) We need to just keep mining @ Hashcows. And quietly, slowly, move up... We need to have some places to spend PMC as well.. and gambling.... Yes POS would be great even with 0% just to protect the network. Anybody with technical skills still available? I didnt get a chance to participate in XBS. I think PMC has got much better distribution though. Any chance of getting the faucet going again? Also are we proceeding with the last two ideas, group buy and miner group buy? I am still up for group buying, if other people are interested. |

Are you sure about it? The interest in PMC is fading everyday and dont we need some new features/news to keep the buzz going? I got my first PMC from the faucet and ever since I bought 3.2K of it from the market. Every time I think about dumping them and moving on to new pump/dump coin, I check this thread and I always see some inspirational post from you. So hats off to you for keep PMC going, at least you have 1 believer in PMC now. I think you are one of the main reason which keeps this thread going now, but with some new features, would it be easier to make more believers? |

What about a private sale of this kind of PMC? To avoid crashing the price on Poloniex... Or a timed sale on Poloniex to increase volume..
I like the group buy idea more than the competition, because 1.The competition will only run for 1 month, and I dont think the rise in price would be sustainable for the long run. The big miners will be here only for price money and they will be dumping their PMCs as soon as the competition is over. 2. The group buy will be supported by people who actually care about PMC, which will be good for the coin in the long run. I think we need the OP or someone with technical knowledge in the community to think about introducing POS into PMC as kbf mentioned earlier. POS is the buzz word now and we should try to cash on it. It also conveys the message that the active PMC community is not reluctant to introduce new features and capabilities as required. As a side effect, it increases security too. |

We could also groupbuy one of those new 60mhs or 75mhs miners, and point them to the hashcows pool I like it  How much do they cost these days? May be we should wait till they get a bit cheaper  |

Edit your message and post your transaction id... It is NOT easy for me to return money sent from an exchange... If I have to return everyones money I will need you to sort of 'own' your transaction ( 10 PMC I believe ). Now I REALLY DON'T want to return any money. I want to get the money we need to get a multipool going at Hashcows.... However if that doesn't happen I was planning to send all the coins back to the sending address... Your 10 PMC I can't do that with Okay, Edited now. I wasn't expecting it back though |
