701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 rematch on: October 29, 2023, 02:13:02 PM
Pacquaio is always ready to fight Mayweather is so evasive for past couple of years. Do you think that this match up would really happen?
On the sidelines of the planned duel between Pacquiao vs. Mayweather has had a lot of questions among boxing fans lately, what are Pacquiao's plans for the future? Currently, the duel between the two is the hottest topic in the boxing media at the moment.

I remember the meeting between Pacquiao vs. Mayweather in 2015, when Pacquiao lost in the 12th round by unanimous decision, Can this happen again, but I want to see definite results whether Pacquiao is really serious about fighting again this time against Mayweather.

But several sources that I have read and see that Pacquiao's return in the boxing rematch between Mayweather is still a discussion that leads to speculation, This means that there is no definite decision yet, but I am sure that both boxers will show their best to their respective fans.

Pacquiao is not a politician anymore in our country after he loss the presidential election. He is now 100% devoted to his training and he reportedly open to have a match to any popular boxer that is currently champ.
Sounds good, I hope so, I'm also a Pacquiao fan, when he was victorious in the boxing arena, I admired the way he bet.

Just hope and hope that Pacquiao doesn't disappoint his fans this time against Mayweather in the ring, if this boxing happens, regardless of him not being a politician anymore or full training to face Mayweather, hopefully.
702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Importance of emotion while trading on: October 28, 2023, 02:11:16 PM
There are many people who trade on BitcoinTalk forums. Those who trade must control their emotions. If not, you will have a huge loss in trading. Why emotion is needed while trading is as follows:
Emotions are always synonymous with destruction, this applies everywhere, not only in crypto trading activities, whatever is done based on emotions will have a destructive impact on the activities carried out.

My understanding:
* Taking a lot of profit when trading is not a problem for me, trading has its own tricks and strategies for making a profit, without being based on emotions.
* For this reason, trading needs to be done on one type of crypto, such as Bitcoin, other types of coins are allowed but there is no guarantee, even if it is done unemotionally or emotionally.
* This is fatal, you need to monitor the crypto you are investing in at all times, if you are trading, this means controlling your emotions or observing price movements of the crypto you are trading is important.
* There are things that need to be considered when trading from the word park, but not all of them, don't take points emotionally and rashly.
* Certainly.

That's what I know in dealing with emotions in general in crypto trading.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of war on global economy. on: October 28, 2023, 01:30:27 PM
What do you guys think? Is this true or false?
My understanding is that the economy is developing and can create prosperity for humans globally. You can be sure that the world and the country are safe without war or corruption and other negative things that can have a bad impact on the economy.

You definitely know the impact that occurs in wars, for example what happened in Israel vs. Palestine, there are developments in issues that are causing the two countries to have a negative impact on shares and investment, where investors are reluctant to invest their shares in these two countries, as well as other impacts of oil, GDP and so on, the economy is deteriorating in both countries.

This is a clear example of the impact of war on the global economy felt by society, not to mention the effects caused by other countries due to war, Ukraine vs. Russia and so on.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most weird thing you bought with crypto? on: October 27, 2023, 02:13:38 PM
What is the most weird thing you bought with crypto?
My country is very anti-strange things, I don't know what goods you mean that can be called strange, even though Bitcoin is considered strange by most people, there is nothing Bitcoin on the market that looks strange.

In my country Bitcoin payments are provided legally, such as in some restaurants and others, even though Bitcoin is not fully recognized by the government, but Bitcoin can still be used generally by its users, to be honest I have never traded with Bitcoin to buy strange things.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live Sports Betting vs virtual Games Betting on: October 27, 2023, 01:46:48 PM
Live Sports Betting vs virtual Games Betting
Indeed, virtual games and live betting are often played by sports betting fans, but I don't like betting on physical activities like what happens in virtual sports games, I like to place bets directly like I do 1 (Home/Host), X (Draw), 2 (Away) 1X2 in general.

But for those who like challenges, of course virtual sports games are their choice, as I have seen my friends play, such as Wii Sports, There are several types of games offered there, tennis, golf, boxing and so on, as well as Pokemon Go type games, which is also a virtual sports game.

For me, I prefer to bet in person rather than virtually, as I said above.
706  Economy / Reputation / Re: Question about signature campaigns - paid advertising, or personal endorsements? on: October 26, 2023, 03:10:43 PM
What is your opinion?
The signature campaign is considered as advertising or social support for individuals. For me, the response is better. I consider the signature campaign to be an advertising method, Every individual who wants to use the advertisements on their profile, always refers to sources that may be obtained from other people or outside this forum, without referring to one individual, Doing this greatly affects the welfare, especially of the individual concerned when operating and using the advertisement, the social support available outside can avoid negative actions in the future for the user.

To place a signature as a method of advertising or with social support, it will make users feel that the advertisement can individually feel comfortable, accepted or stopped on the basis of advertising and social support globally.
707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Delisted/Inactive Coins from Exchange on: October 26, 2023, 02:40:40 PM
I'm really curious if there will be an effect of it in our current trading journey or in the market.
It's kinda showing that the more we are in a bear market year, the more pairs are being delisted.
What are your thoughts?
Indeed, recently a lot of spot trading pairs have been deleted, this has happened in almost all existing exchanges, it's not half-hearted that Binance has also acted erratically, almost all types of crypto are affected by this phenomenon except Bitcoin.

In my opinion, it seems that this year there have been a series of changes to crypto in trading methods, it seems that crypto users are only being directed towards one type of crypto such as Bitcoin, The reason for this can be seen from the worsening liquidity and volume generated in spot trading on various exchanges, only Bitcoin seems stable, if you say it is disturbed of course, but what can I say, the condition and development of the crypto market says so, one hopes for the future that crypto can be better from year to year for its users throughout the world.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? on: October 26, 2023, 02:15:44 PM
Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? Many here will feel that this is waste of time and will also not let them enjoy the game peacefully. Do you also have same mentality?
Never, in fact I never remember how many losses and wins I have made, as long as I am involved in the world of gambling, let alone note it down, just never remind me.

I gamble when I have the will and desire, I gamble when I want and have the opportunity, I gamble not yet at a high level of addiction, so there is no record for me in terms of losses and wins, I think that gambling is not a business that requires real physical bookkeeping of expenses and income, losing means it's bad luck for me, winning means it's good luck for me, that's what is recorded in my mind.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 01:56:07 PM
Hi guys and ladies, here comes a very sad and heart-breaking story (true life confession) of a young lady who was contributing money (saving money) together with her husband-to-be (fiancée) in preparation for their wedding. The story in quote ..
If I read the story of these two people, it is really heartbreaking, this man should not have done that, this man did not consider the risks involved in gambling, The intention was indeed good, but the method was wrong, the woman was working hard to collect money for their marriage, but instead the man acted ridiculously, it was a disaster for their marriage, With that money they should have been ready to get married this year, because the money was spent on betting, of course they have to collect the money from zero again, this is annoying. if the man is responsible, he must try to find other money, for the survival of their marriage, if he is irresponsible, of course....finished.

If I judge that the man is not good, he should be the one looking for money for their marriage, not the woman, he is a lazy man, he can spend what he has, most lazy people have high hallucinations, wanting a lot of money but not wanting to work, hoping that gambling can bring him luck, that's a ridiculous thought for a man.

If I were the sister or brother of that woman, I would have to say that she is not a good man to marry, but that is love, love is blind, even if one party is hurt.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: October 25, 2023, 02:45:18 PM
I think if people really want to be happy in life, expecially undergraduates and young graduate they should learn not to give all expectations of having living job from the government.  If people create the mindset of being creative and productive in this era they will live a more happy life than putting all expectations of getting a dream job from the government.  A productive mindset is what young people needs to make life easy and worth living.
Human thought patterns are diverse, creativity and expertise are indeed things that can make someone financially successful and happy, There are thousands who graduate from college, who at the end of the story don't have a sure job, because they have too much hope in the government, maybe if the knowledge they have is for entrepreneurs and business people, they will be economically successful for sure.

There are many people who have retired who have developed creative ideas and their successful skills have developed widely. This is a sign that the knowledge we gain in college must be able to be developed to add to the economy, I agree that developing creativity and skills while working in government to produce more economy to gain happiness should be considered in the future.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just like visiting a cinema on: October 25, 2023, 02:07:09 PM
Why not treat casinos the same ways like you are going to the movies or bowling? You are simply paying for the experience and the entertainment, it's either you enjoy it or you may not, can you feel me? You don't know how bad a movie can be until you watched it, so....
Wait, cinema and gambling are two different options, different ways of working, all the activities carried out for both are very different, obviously they cannot be equated or made like the two, gambling is a game and money, watching cinema, Gambling is addictive, cinemas are not detected as addictive, people go to the cinema just to watch, not to make money.

If you associate gambling entertainment with cinema entertainment, that is a wrong understanding, because if you interpret entertainment it has a broad meaning, such as: entertaining the heart, fun, joy and so on, for me the two things cannot be used as examples and equated.
712  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Gemini exchange in trouble? on: October 25, 2023, 01:46:56 PM
I have seen a few articles about the Gemini crypto exchange and legal problems in the U.S.  Do you think they are in real trouble?  Might that put my, our, coins in jeopardy?
Whatever problem you are currently facing with the Gemini exchange, if I look at it it is clear that the exchange is having problems.
This can be seen from several members here who complained.
For example:
1. Topic: Crypto Groups Gemini, Genesis, and DCG Sued for $1.1 Billion ‘Fraud’
2. Topic: Lost money Transferring from Bittrex to Gemini
3. Topic: gEMINI CLOSED MY ACCOUNT WITH no EXPLANATION... WHY?

If I move to a different exchange, which one charges the least to sell coins and transfer the cash to a local bank for withdrawal?
This depends on where you live, of course your location will help your problem, who knows, the members here can show you the best exchange.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the cash-out feature only available in sports bets? on: October 25, 2023, 01:30:07 PM
that feature is the cash-out feature.
As far as I know, the Cashout feature is only used and obtained for sports betting, it is often encountered by those who like to bet on sports, especially football, because the Cashout feature can only be used before a match or in progress or something else called, namely in the form of Multi and Single bets, especially in football matches.

As an example of what I know about the Bets Cash Out option working.
Quote
In a match between, say, Real and Juventus, you bet $100 on Juventus winning, odds @ 2.50. So, your goal is to win a sum of $250. In the first part, the result was 0:1 in favor of Juventus.
The software offers the option to 'Cash Out' $180 and close your bet as a winner. At this point, you can accept the offer and win $80. No need to get further involved with the game.

Or, you can leave your bet open, to win the full amount ($250) if Juventus wins the match.

In the same game, if Real wins 1-0 in the first half, your chances of winning will be smaller.

The software can give you a $30 offer to cover your bet. This gives you the opportunity to not lose all your money ($100).

This means that the purpose of the Cash Out Feature is for those who don't want to risk losses and secure money if the match doesn't match expectations, but for me I rarely use this feature.
714  Other / Meta / Re: As A Bitcointalk Member on: October 24, 2023, 04:21:03 PM
Is it that they have contributed much on this Forum? What have they done or how can we tell what they have done?
OP, this topic: [Voting 2022] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆, can be a basic reference for you, in assessing someone who you think is more prominent and the best in this forum, whether they are someone who is considered a: hero and so on.

Here are the results: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437673.msg61693732#msg61693732, which has been done by some members who have earned nicknames and advantages in this forum.

From the two data and sources above, you can see and assess what they have done, so that they can achieve something that you think should be done and achieved, but you need to do what you need to know is: for the community here, maybe it is more appreciated by other members who are here, rather than you having to force yourself to do something you don't actually know. do the skills you have, that's better.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 24, 2023, 03:45:48 PM
but since football is a game of unpredictability,  what then ks your views on this game even though the match is currently live.
For me, everyone has a different understanding and way of thinking in every business and action they want to take, regardless of whether they are rich or poor, Maybe we all already know the true meaning of gambling activities, many of us think that gambling can only be obtained from luck.

Therefore, if the rich person in the photo, places a bet between the Chelsea vs Arsenal match on Saturday 21 October has passed, if that person places a bet on one of the clubs/teams, obviously he was unlucky and he experienced a huge amount of failure, because Chelsea vs. Arsenal was scored (2-2), meaning it was a draw.

That's gambling, you can never predict whether you will be successful or unlucky on the day you place your bet, so gamble as you are, don't be selfish and emotional about placing large bets, no one can guarantee the will of fate. gambling never knows you, rich, poor, officials, traders, presidents and so on, lucky days can determine success.
716  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of war, Gold rises. What about Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2023, 02:49:29 PM
Is it because investors still don't trust Bitcoin as a store of value? Or is it something else? Please enlighten me. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Indeed, in 2023, gold will experience an increase globally, which can be felt in Asia, but if you look at there are a number of factors that cause the price of gold to rise, maybe as the OP said, maybe.

However, looking at the factors of recession, war, crisis and including politics, it can also influence the dynamic surge in gold recently. On the other hand, the recent development of the crypto market is also not like what we have seen in previous years, there was turmoil. war, including Bitcoin, the increase is not that drastic, it's slow, whether investors believe in gold more than crypto, maybe they think gold is safer, but I'm sure the crypto market will improve in the future.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 24, 2023, 02:05:40 PM
Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity?
If we talk about gambling, it is an activity that is believed to be a form of prohibition, in my opinion not in general, for that reason it can be broken by a statement that states there is Countries Where Casino Gambling Is Legal, Of course the question is gambling, activities and prohibitions.

So in my understanding.
Gambling: is a place to gamble money or an online site that is used by humans.
Activity: can be interpreted broadly, behavior, activities and so on.
Forbidden: can be interpreted in the form of a rule or order.

For me, these three things are actions carried out by humans, apart from these three things there is money laundering, but this action is not completely and generally prohibited, because in this element there are rules or orders, which are carried out by humans, regardless of whether gambling is illegal or legal, in general they do not fully consider gambling as a prohibited activity, in essence: Articles don't happen the same, like what happens in the field, articles are not 100% correct as written, they can be written excessively, casually or as they are, but the third point is rarely done by article writers, most of them are excessive.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community on: October 23, 2023, 12:41:53 PM
Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community
There are several factors that make crypto or Bitcoin known and used by the majority of rural residents.
1. Bitcoin/Crypto is advertised on private TV operating in that country.
2. Bitcoin/Crypto is the main advertisement that appears on YouTube and it is easy to get information from Google and YouTube.
3. Local newspapers often talk about Bitcoin and so on.

So Bitcoin and Crypto are known to rural communities, perhaps this has happened almost all over the world, including my country, I have also visited one of the remote villages, I once saw in a coffee shop two or three young men opening a local exchange site, but I didn't ask them anything, I just looked.
On the other hand, I feel happy and proud to see this, in my mind I think Bitcoin is not only used by city people, remote villages also know it well, so what OP sees is not much different from what I see about Bitcoin /Crypto, rural alreadyknow well.

What's more, today is the age of technology and the internet, everything is easily accessible, plus the internet signal shows full strength in rural areas and on high connecting tower facilities.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 23, 2023, 11:51:29 AM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?
Most children respect and fear their parents, you could say that out of 100 children there are 1 or two who have no respect for their parents, Even though gambling is considered by some people to be good luck and make money, most parents think that gambling is a bad activity and act, even if they gamble themselves.

So there are two things here that can be said, [1]. Some children are involved in gambling their parents know, [2]. Others don't know, but me personally my parents never know and it won't happen.

For this reason, whatever we do, we must never disappoint our parents, because they always want to see us better and more successful than us, even though they themselves have not achieved success.
720  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 23, 2023, 11:35:40 AM
How do you feel October will end up for BTC?
Little by little the crypto market has shown itself to move Bitcoin, this shows that in October 2023, several speculations can be declared successful, Today Bitcoin is traded at around $30k, perhaps this shows goodness for Bitcoin users and investors.

On the other hand and some of the speculation that I have seen, December Bitcoin will position itself in a better direction, perhaps above $40k. What many people feel and dream of may be achieved, I look at my own speculation for the upcoming halving.

For this election I agree with point number two, above $30k.
