I don't know if 377 is exactly right

I don't know if my timing is right.

But I am sure of the direction.  And i am sure 277 was the bottom and I am sure you'll never get to buy at sub 330 again.

You don't have to believe me.

Says the guy who comes from the future...

someone with too much money
buy otc => dump on exchanges
easy manipulation

Isn't buying otc more expensive? Why would anyone do that just to keep the exchange rate low? What's the gain?
Correct, OTC is more expensive.

People usually buy from the exchanges to sell OTC.

Or, they find a OTC miner that can sell below bitstamp then they turn around and sell to retail buyers OTC (rather than making a tiny % selling on exchange).

manipulation [muh-nip-yuh-ley-shuh n]

1.  used to describe alleged artificial movements when price does not trend in the intended direction.

Have you enabled 2-factor auth on blockchain?
If so, you should get the 2FA code for the login always from outside of TOR (use a different browser just to get your 2fa code via email).

This is what I'd like to know.

Storing coins online without 2FA is a horrible idea.

Note: Stamp and Finex trading below BTC-e is a sign of manipulation. Manipulation has at time precipitated into a flash crash. That's how I'd explain the phenomenon in a nutshell.

I'm sure everyone realizes by now this will end in a dump?

see you at 377 in 29 hours.

I think rpietila called the 340 bottom (before it went to 280)!

We could go straight up from here.  Roll Eyes
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did bitcoin failed? on: October 25, 2014, 04:22:39 PM
I like how many people are calling Bitcoin a failure because its price hasn't been sustained at $1000 levels, yet no one remembers that in Spring of 2013, bitcoin was sub $100. It's baffling to call something a failure even though it's STILL above the April 2013 high of $276. I just don't get how quickly they expect things to move when they say that it's a failure while still maintaining 100% gain from one year ago. Fuck.

If we use the 12 month indicator most often used on Wall Street, year to year we're down brah.

You are short, so?

So he's making money while you're losing it.  How is it you don't understand the most trivial shit?

You obviously think you exert an effect on the market by trolling these forums constantly. Hope it's worth it!
For the record, I trade as neither bull nor bear.  As a trader, I welcome the volatility of huge peaks and valleys.

Posted rockets and moon pictures early summer, now I post the opposite as it falls.

Long term, I do believe in cryptocurrency as an innovation.  Grin

Anyone else experiencing problems on Bitfinex?

Been trading on it all morning.  Just logged in again now on my iPhone.

Subject is grammatically incorrect, and for that reason alone it just stuck in my head.

In hindsight, interesting to read the advice.

Here we are, over 100 points lower.  I think this thread was created at the lofty heights of $478'ish.

Now we're in the 340's.
715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 25, 2014, 01:50:18 PM
I'm considering to stop looking at the bitcoin price for the next few months but then I risk losing all money...
And miss opportunities to buy in low if I decide to do that.
This market really is a bitch man
You were quite young weren't you? This is good learning opportunity for you, just watch and ride it out. Forget about the profits you had for a moment and just watch this bear market. Better times will come, soon or not.

Sometimes things fail and die out. This is one of them. Give me one good reason why after 6 years (of which the last year was total shit) we suddenly will go up again. Why will things get better? It already failed.

Reminds me of the thread "Why did bitcoin failed."

Created, by the way, when Bitcoin was at the lofty price of $478 Sept 7, 2014.  Cry
