It's okay guys, I accept all criticism and input from the community. If someone has a legitimate criticism we will address it. Sometimes skeptical people just need time and eventually they will understand we are hard working and ethical on top of the fact GEO has huge potential. Well said Tobler, keep up the great work! GEO has huge potential, those who are not convinced can move on to thousands of other cryptocoins. You can't please them all. |

I withdrew some coins from bittrex to geocoin.cash wallet but not showing up yet after 30 mins or so already? Also no record of txid in the blockchain?

Waiting for crypto transfers is always my least favourite part. The fear that your coins get stuck in limbo is never a good feeling. I always test very small transfers first, and then transfer a larger sum after it has shown up properly. Glad that they are showing up now for you!! Kudos to Tobler once again |

Why don't you just use bitcoin for this?
This coin is cool. Its not here to replace bitcoin but brings new innovation. I can drop you some coins and you can collect coins in your backyard already which i cant do with bitcoin yet I THINK Its up to dev who code whether to get his own coin or use bitcoin for whatever he is trying to bring with geocoin. I am hoping geocoin can be used for many purposes in geo technology field someday but as well can be used for merchants and payments just like bitcoin since its based on blockchain. Thats my personal point of view about this coin. Idk experts also fail on crypto analysis so best thing you can do is become a self expert  Read up about the geominer too. It's an impressive GIS concept to be developed. Geominer is what I am the most excited about to be honest, the potential there is huge! I'm truly looking forward to contributing to the geominer and future GEO innovation. Keep up the great work Tobler and crew!!! |

Oh it's not the same as this Geo? That dude just copied it? Sorry I thought is was the campaign for this coin.. I looked into that coin, the owner of their G+ never responded to me. There is no source code, block explorer or specifications anywhere. I suspect the coin doesn't even exist. It looks like a scam to raise 1.2 million dollars. Make sure you buy your GEO on poloniex, bittrex, ccex or any of the exchanges listed in the OP. If it's not associated with geocoin.cash its not the real deal. Very weird, seems like a scam. Or they're trying to sell legit GEO for USD? Definitely not trying to sell this Geo for USD, looks like they are just trying to sell air for USD. I don't like it, stealing another coins name and idea and asking for 1.2 million dollars? Sounds like a scam to me. Tobler has just implemented two factor authentification (2FA) and it's working well for me. When you login to your wallet ( wallet.geocoin.cash), go to the settings and activate 2FA. Login again to start using Clef. I don't know about you, but I really like it I just tried the Clef 2FA as well and it worked well on my Samsung Galaxy S4 w/ Lollipop. Super easy to setup. Nice job Tobler!! |

The lack of coins dropped in the US shows how little penetration it has in the market so far. This is one of the coolest crypto projects around and near the investment ground floor. You should be thanking whoever drove the price down, great time to acquire GEO imo.
Just wait until the team starts pushing this to the real world. I think it will get very interesting. That's what I'm counting on Looks like some nice improvements to come! Should be very interesting indeed |
