701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining using GTX 1070 on: September 03, 2017, 02:29:09 PM
I'm new to all this, so go easy with me. I searched a little bit and ended up making the decision of mining using 6 GPUs (Nvidia GTX 1070). The electricity cost in my country is like 0.05$/kw (If not lower) and planning to go with Ethereum.

1. Should I switch to another crypto currency?
2. What should I understand before starting to mine
3. I'm going to follow this . How bad/good are the instructions and information's there?
4. Solo or pools mining?
5. How much hash power I'm going to generate? 180 Mh/s?
6. Is this accurate?
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who offer best conversion rate from DASH to BTC on: September 03, 2017, 11:16:18 AM
ShapeShift is not included here but usually, all exchanges have almost the same rates (maybe different of a couple of bucks) as long as they are not restricted to certain countries.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: September 03, 2017, 08:13:07 AM
Someone managed to get a list of the supported/restricted countries? I contacted them yesterday and still didn't hear anything while they claim to have 24/7 support.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electrum Litecoin Wallet - legit? on: September 03, 2017, 06:45:54 AM
Electrum-LTC, Electrum-Dash and ElectronCash are all based on Electrum bitcoin wallet just because It's open source, It's not in any way affiliated with the creator of the original wallet but to answer your question, yes, they are legit.
705  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: September 02, 2017, 07:15:01 AM
Have you thought about adding Mona.co? I believe they released their app for Android, iOS a couple of days ago and you can order the card from there. You can't know if the service is good or not until it has more users (to see downtimes, support response time etc.) but overall, It looks very promising.
706  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much worth Bitcointalk account ? on: August 30, 2017, 02:51:33 PM
We have bctalkaccountpricer but I believe it's far from being accurate or at least, people don't buy or sell based on it, Its still useful to get other info though. If you want to have a basic idea about the prices, you must check the Invites & accounts sub section (in Digital goods) and see how much are offering or selling for.
707  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 29, 2017, 10:08:21 AM
i have about 70 post in the last 2 weeks i have join and it says my activities is 28 and am very confused and am wodering if there is a specific thing i need to do to get my activity up...any one with any help on this will be very appreciated

This has been mentioned multiple times in this thread, you only gain a maximum of 14 activity per two weeks period regardless of how much posts above your activity you have. You won't get another 14 until the next activity reset and then you must wait another two weeks for another 14 activity and so on.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: August 28, 2017, 12:01:56 PM
Have they released any documents regarding the card and where It's going to be available? I think that the countries mentioned on the days of ICO are only related to the tokens and not to the card itself, who could confirm?
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with GTX 1080 Ti on: August 28, 2017, 10:01:18 AM
I'm not entirely sure how this NiceHash works? is a software for mining? because I've seen on their description that using their tools, you don't really need to configure anything, just a few clicks and you are ready to go. Is it possible to mine literally anything? or they support a few coins? I may have an idea about what to mine now.

It's exactly how you described it, you still can receive funds into your old addresses however it's highly recommended to use the new addresses, It's mostly a privacy matter so people will find hard time to link everything back to you.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining with GTX 1080 Ti on: August 25, 2017, 07:43:14 AM
I'm new to mining and I don't even know where to start so any help will greatly be appreciated. It's not a big rig or anything, I only have this one graphic card and I was wondering If I could generate any profit using it, the electricity here is not expensive so that won't be a problem I assume.
712  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How do I move BTC and BCH from an electrum wallet to Poloniex? on: August 24, 2017, 06:17:57 PM
Its a very simple process, If you have your bitcoins seed:

1. Move your funds (BTC) to Poloniex.
2. Install ElectronCash and use Electrum seed on it, you will get your BCH
3. Send your BCH to Poloniex.

If you don't have it, then install Coinomi in your android device (and add BitcoinCash), export the private keys from Electrum of the addresses that actually has funds and import them (scan them) using Coinomi, BCH will get added to your balance.
713  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I woke up and found my Exodus wallet hacked and cleared. on: August 24, 2017, 12:40:24 PM
Exodus is not that secure, you had to at least wait for the 2FA support but yeah, that wouldn't help either since the seed was comprosed. HitBtc may not give the funds back (unless the owner still have money on that account) but it definitely worth contacting them.
714  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Need someone to confirm a TX made from blockchain.info on: August 24, 2017, 10:16:45 AM
What's wrong with Mycelium fee calculation? If you increase it to priority or anything above of what you are currently using, It should pay the necessary fees otherwise just switch to Electrum as they support dynamic fees so you can edit them as you wish to. You can try to submit your transaction to ViaBTC accelerator too.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: August 24, 2017, 09:17:13 AM
We are probably late but the more you share it with your friends and family, the more chances we have to get listed so please vote
As for binance, I don't see anything to be worried about. If binance see money in this, they will add BTC ticker too.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Coins disappeared after importing wallet to BitcoinABC - help ! on: August 23, 2017, 05:10:24 PM
You are talking about the BitcoinABC wallet, right? It's normal that the balance is zero If you have not synchronized with the network. If you are paranoid, you could simply check your addresses at blockdozer to see If they have any balance on them. If you want to speed things up, just export the private keys from it and import them to Coinomi android wallet.
717  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best exchanger on: August 23, 2017, 04:31:55 PM
The exchanges proposed by mobnepal are definitely good but I believe that nothing can beat the P2P trading, even If you are not trading directly with an individual, the fees will still be lower then using these fully centralized exchanges. I can only recommend these services when you are in a desperate need of a fast transaction.
718  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 21, 2017, 04:58:11 PM
It's not totally clear for me how much activity is needed before I am able to post a picture.. I heard 30 but not from an 'official' source..

That's correct, you will be able to post pictures when you become junior member (30 activity) and to change your avatar at Full member rank.
719  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ethereums.com on: August 20, 2017, 11:49:57 AM
I believe you could really sell it at 50,000$, If not more. Bitcoin.com is worth 1 million dollar, plural or not doesn't matter If you ask me, because its all about how relevant the word is and from a SEO perspective, Its definitely relevant. If you believe you can develop a service or a blog that is actually worth using/reading then do it, that could increase the value when you decide to sell otherwise just sell it right now. (Its what I would do in your situation)
720  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain permanent pending status on: August 19, 2017, 03:16:49 PM
The fees are more then low, 1satoshi per bytes... you can't even use transaction accelerators at this point because they require a minimum fee which is usually 0.0001 BTC but no worries, your bitcoins are not lost, If the transaction don't get confirmed for the next few days, they will be sent back to the sender (you).
