701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Now!!! on: December 10, 2018, 02:03:50 AM
Invest now while the the coins and tokens are at their low value.. The impact of the low value of bitcoin affects most of the coins. We should invest now before it returns to is glory. Its is a simple concept of a stock exchange where we buy at lower cost and sell it a high value ,, an increase in value can be a big matter if you invest more.. count your investments not your savings,,,

btw please follow me on twitter and i will follow you also. i promise , lets help one another to gain followers. GOD BLESS

No, bitcoin and altcoins price are still high when you wrote this thread, it was a bad timing to buying because now it is even dropped more.
I think if we want to buy coins, we must wait until the market showing the sign of recovery.
Otherwise, bitcoin and altcoins price still able to dropping more than the current price in any time if there is no sign of recover at all.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: does bitcoin look scary / deadly for the future ...? on: December 08, 2018, 04:20:33 PM
Do you all have time to think about the future of our children and grandchildren in the future about the economy ...? if we see bitcoin in the present, it's already very busy talking about it some argue negatively and some argue positively Will in the future be the subject of conversation at the dining table for our grandchildren later ...?
 Huh Huh Huh

The most scare thing for me is when bitcoin price gone to the bottom deeper than the current price in the market.
Future will be good if bitcoin used by every peoples in the world, because bitcoin is a peer to peer currency.
It will be normal for our grandchild to talk about cryptocurrency at dining room in the future, because we are going to that kind of future now.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Central Banks? on: December 08, 2018, 04:10:40 PM
There are advantages and disadvantages if we have central banks in cryptocurrency world.
But i guess cryptocurrency main characteristic is decentralized, so central banks is not needed.
Maybe we can have decentralized banks of crypto in the future if cryptocurrency keep developing.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is the year of altcoins on: December 07, 2018, 03:12:03 AM
to get dumped and forgotten. Not all of course.
And I cannot wait for Mcafee to eat his own dick on live television. 2020 will be the best year.

LOL, yeah to get dumped. But i don't think it is only for altcoins, but for bitcoin as well.
i thought 2018 will be better than 2017, but i guess there is nobody knows about future of crypto.
There are too many uncertain things in 2018 such SEC decision about ETF, and other things that makes crypto fall.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give me suggestion! I already lost my money. on: December 07, 2018, 02:50:38 AM
Guys, i lost half btc in some circumstance and rest of my altcoin in also down position so in that moment what should i do?
give me your suggestion.
Well, the one who lost money not only you, but the entire holders who bought crypto in this early year.
We should sell our coin if we cannot afford to have a loss because the dropping price.
When you see your coin value drop below -10%, you have to cut your loss or hold them very long until they recover.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Solution to Raise BTC's Value on: December 06, 2018, 01:30:37 AM
The trigger for what happened to the market is still unclear.

https://www.economist.com/finance-and-economics/2018/12/01/bitcoin-has-lost-most-of-its-value-this-year

"One popular theory is that the the supply of brave buyers willing to take a punt has now been exhausted.

Regulatory interest may be another reason."

"Technical faff, and the volatility that makes it attractive to speculators, means that it is hard to use bitcoin to actually buy things."

One thing is certain. Once everyone can easily use cryptocurrency to buy things without any chance of regulation, its value will inevitably increase.

We still have yet to be able to do this because we still have to use crypto exchanges to deal. These exchanges are still registered companies and can be shut down at government's whims.

Eliminate crypto exchanges and give people the ability to easily use crypto in everyday life and these problems go away!

A distributed exchange network complete with widespread use of a decentralized marketplace would fix the fundamental crypto issues we see today.

Thoughts?

Although volatility can attract speculators, it is actually opening for newcomers or new investors to join cryptocurrency with less fund when the price down. So, volatility is not a significant problem for btc value. To be able rising btc value, i think more development is required for bitcoin network.
Lightning network is one of the development example, it will boost the usage from users because they can transacting using btc faster.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that you trust? on: December 05, 2018, 02:48:23 AM
Which wallet do you consider for ERC-20 tokens and how safe is it?

This is a basic question that everyone need to know the answer.
If you are using eth wallet to store any erc20 token, the easiest wallet to use is web wallet like myetherwallet.
but the security of myetherwallet is not too secure, you need to using metamask or jax to obtain better security.
hardwallet or cold storage is the safest wallet if you want to buy some.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: December 05, 2018, 02:32:47 AM
We are in the final quarter of the year
Everyone should be at alert now, lots of projects will suddenly collapse, pump and dump, with plans to collect people's btc and ethereum and cash out money for the end of the year
Then they will run away and get away with funds.....

A word is enough for the wise

There is no connection between final quarter of the year and everyone should be at alert.
We must always at alert, careful, and not doing any hasty move when we involving in cryptocurrency world.
There are some project still keep developing despite many scam projects out there. You just need to find a real project with your due diligence.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Laundering started with banks not bitcoins. on: December 04, 2018, 02:50:03 AM
The people in Banking industry have long associated Bitcoins with money laundering, from calling it a bubble to linking it to terrorists money they did everything in their power to destroy bitcoins. Today it's been proved that money laundering happens due to banks, was happening before bitcoins came. Deutsche Bank has been raided for money laundering, and it's pertinent to note bankers from this bank had said bitcoins is used for money laundering. It proves that fiat money is and always will be used for money laundering, it's time to stop the witch hunt against bitcoins. #ItrustBitcoinsoverBank.

Link: https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/11/29/bitcoin-is-criminal-money-says-the-media-while-deutsche-bank-gets-raided-for-laundering/

Well, money laundering is not only using bitcoin, you can use fiat currency to do money laundering too.
This is only a false accusation by some peoples who doesn't like using bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
and i think bitcoin is not a bubble because if it was, it would exploded already and never back to bubbling again, unlike bitcoin.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is anonymity the future for bitcoin??? on: December 04, 2018, 02:37:18 AM
As we can see each and every transaction for bitcoin is publicly registered to the blockchain where in all of us have access, so I am just thinking if anonymity or providing privacy will be the next move for bitcoin. Just my thoughts, you can add yours here and let's discuss it.

I dont think so. Anonymity is one of the feature of cryptocurrency, but not in bitcoin.
You can use mixer to make your bitcoin transaction anonymous though. There are few mixer advertise in this forum.
But i think bitcoin future according to satoshi is to become a future peer to peer currency, not to become an anonymous currency.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2018, 09:56:02 AM
I see a lot of obsession with price on these forums. In my opinion, price is a distraction from BTC becoming a success. I measure BTC success on ease of use, levels of adoption, and scalability. Along with decentralization, these should be our obsession.

I also think we should keep the original goals in mind. We need to undermine and even destroy the relationships banks have wirh governments. Let's not forget they are the engine of elitism.

I'd rather see $100 btc that is accepted by millions of retailers and is used regularly than a million doller BTC that is a false store of value.

How do you measure the success of BTC?

Many peoples maybe think the measure of success of bitcoin is the high value in the market.
But for me, the measure is not only the value, but the amount of bitcoin users around the world.
If bitcoin not massive adopted and used by everyone around the world, then it still not succeed yet.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: n00b question: how do I give someone a receipt for payment? on: December 03, 2018, 09:39:21 AM
If someone pays me in BTC, how do I give them a receipt? Does it prove that a transaction between us took place? For example, can the person provide this as proof that they paid me? I suppose the address needs to be tied to my identity. I don't know how that works. Any insight appreciated.

Thanks.

You just need to copy the txid in of your transactions. If they paid you some btc, they must include the txid.
And you must confirm the transaction from : 1. Your wallet balance, if your balance increased or not. 2. From the txid, paste it on the bitcoin
blockchain explorer. You will see the sender address, the amount sent, and your address ( receiver ).
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ads on: December 02, 2018, 04:05:55 PM
Why we don't see advertisment about bitcoin technology and the diffrence between it and other payment systems , i know miners and traders who only know they can make money with btc but don't really know what is it or what it can be used for , we need some community driven ads all over the web to tell ppl what really btc and decentralized payments is to get real investors not just bumpers jumpers

Bitcoin already became popular, no need to advertise bitcoin anymore.
If you ask peoples in my country whether they know bitcoin or not, they mostly will say yes.
I think this is because the community of bitcoin has growing and making awareness to other peoples, not the ads of bitcoin.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: December 01, 2018, 04:16:24 PM
I want to know how you relate the risks to profits?
What is the determining factor for you to sell or buy coins?
How many of you are trading short-term?

Risk is not easy to manage but you can manage it with some ways.
I usually reduce my risk by diversify my investment portfolio. If you only buy 1 coin to hold, you can gain much loss if it crash.
Trading short term is not my expert, i often to buy and hold the potential coins in the market.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the end of the battle hash and BTC falls on: November 30, 2018, 01:48:20 AM
I heard that the BCHABC and BCHSV battles become weak, the capacity was small, and I concluded that the BTC decline was over, but, after I go to the market today, BTC fell deeper.

are there other factors that make BTC fall again?

The most plausible thing to explain is, the factor of BTC fallen price was not only because BCH hashrate war.
Other factor like ETF delayed approval maybe must take into consideration as well.
BTC has falling deeper indeed, but it is not the end of btc and i believe it will recovering later.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: November 30, 2018, 01:30:38 AM
Before this plunge, a lot of people spreading FUD about bitcoin and how they want bitcoin to die and how obsolete bitcoin is. People saying  that this alt or that alt will replace bitcoin and that bitcoin is no longer King of crypto. Now, looking at CMC, as bitcoin values going down so are ALL altcoins. No shitcoins...I mean altcoins able to get through what's happening in the market not even BCH, XRP, XLM or any other alts able to get pass through the bear market. This is just a proof that all alts value depends on bitcoin value and  the influence of bitcoin to the whole crypto market. I'm very sure before bitcoin value turn to zero all alts turns to dust just like when Thanus snap his fingers and dusting happened.

So tell me, with all honesty, do you still wants bitcoin to die?

Honestly, i don't want to experiencing crashing market or bear market anymore because it is sad that my coins value has gone more than -50% from i bought. Of course we are want bitcoin to recover after this bearish market. But still, there are no one can predict the market.
Looks like the bullish market won't come in this year, but the sure thing is, i don't want bitcoin to die.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Airdrop is effective to promote ICO projects? on: November 29, 2018, 02:05:23 AM
Do you think Airdrop is effective to promote ICO projects? I think No.
Certainly it may be useful to spread the name of the project, but will those people who know about the project with Airdrop invest in that coin?
I think that they only to sell the coin which earned by airdrop cheaply in the market and dump the price.

How do you think about this??

It is effective if only the project of ICO is real, not a fake or scam ICO.
Airdrop's purpose is to make the social medias of the company crowded with many peoples around the world.
We can call them the supporters of the project, and i don't think airdrop will make price dump because the rewards is only small.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: November 29, 2018, 01:35:43 AM
Hello,

I recently returned to the world of crypto and noticed something wrong right away, I couldn't put my finger on it until now.

Poor people are ruining crypto. so many people just in the game to get rich and buy lambos, posting broken english or poorly translated post like " what coin x1000 this week, I need ferrari countach"

the forum is filled with these people trying to make pennies spamming shitcoins and scam ICO's

these people dont mine or invest in things they believe in but whatever they think will make them rich. Its like giving homeless people GPU's and telling them they print money.

I think this last correction was needed and many more to kill off a lot of shit coins and lame projects as well as get rid of these poor people in the game just trying to get rich.

"my 1070 only makes $2 a day now!" oh you poor baby! try mining years ago when 5$ a month was huge but didn't matter cause you believed in the project.

/rantover lol

I think it is not quite right to say 'too many poor peoples'. More like 'too many greed peoples' come to crypto world.
They are creating many scam projects and coins in our crypto world.
And currently because of them, investors has been scammed millions of dollars. That's why there are only few investors in cryptocurrency for now.
719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin transaction fee keeps increasing? on: November 28, 2018, 01:57:41 AM
Hi guys,i just wanna knows that why the transaction fee for bitcoins is increasing everyday. Some days before i send bitcoin to a trader the fee was 0.0005btc but yesterday i repeat the same transaction same amount then the fee was 0.0006 btc.

Please correct me if i am posted in wrong section. Smiley

If you are using ETH aside btc, you will experiencing the dynamic transaction fee in ethereum network ( gas fee ).
The fee amount will depends on the network congestion. If there are many transactions waiting to be processed, then the fee will go higher.
I think it will be the same for bitcoin network as well, not everyday is increasing.
720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold has been down 90% Nobody said "Gold is Dead" - BTC is the New Gold - Right? on: November 28, 2018, 01:44:56 AM
That is true, i think it is because the price of gold is stable. Even if gold price down, it will going down with a slower rate.
Different with cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency have possibility to falling down greatly in the market because it's price is not stable.
Volatility is the main characteristic of cryptocurrency, and the main difference with fiat currency and gold.
