701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 06, 2024, 11:18:45 AM
AI has impacted almost all online businesses to major extent. Do you feel that there will be major impact of AI technology on online gambling industry as well ?

For the moment they seem to have improved it,the AI from earlier responses that I don't know the future and can only give you some websites to look at to something better which is based on such and such info and such statistics I think this team has the higher chances to win and sometimes does not show the favorite at all so to me this is some sort of improvement and I am referring to chat.openai.com as the site where I and many others ask these things.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you experience this sometimes? on: March 06, 2024, 09:56:26 AM
We all experience this sometimes. However I usually don't place a bet in which I am not at all confident and that my previous experiences have been bad.I usually only go for games that I feel quite confident and I place lots of games, kinda like that multi with relatively high odds like the one posted here.So for me it is a long time that I have not had this feeling of regret because I choose a wrong team to add to my parlay ticket.

After the big news that Hamilton will join Ferrari, now we have something even much bigger, which is Max maybe going to Mercedes as well. There are news about it if you google, and that could be just leverage as well to keep Horner in place.

Max as we all know loves Horner, and that means that he will want him to stay, so this could be a ploy to say to the team that if you fire Horner, then next year I will join Mercedes. He already won so many titles, and he is not the type of racer that cares about even more, he will have like what 4 titles this year? That's more than enough for him, he is not the type that will want 8th. So I feel like it could very well be something special if that happens, and I wonder who will get Red Bull spot.

Not only that.

Mercedes is trying for Max as they said and it not they only big thing.

According to rumors if Horner will be "sacked" a release clause will be active for Adrian Newy, and Ferrari is monitoring the situation.

I don't think Horner will be sacked based on the investigation so far and judging by the behavior after the first race the Redbull team looks more solid than ever.So I don't think Ferrari will have a real chance to get Newey under these circumstances. They can try to make him a direct offer as I am sure Newey had his glorious time at McLaren first and now at Redbull so he may like to achieve something at Ferrari too.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: March 06, 2024, 07:52:31 AM
I feel only in the beginning of any session as the exitement is what keeps us coming back yet it can also disappear lightning fast when we are playing and we happen to hit a very bad session since early into the session there is nothing left of being excited when gambling. What I have noticed is that the RTP of most games is changed in any reputable casino and I have absolutely 0 doubts about it that is why I shifted my focus to sport gambling only.

A good night for me in here as I got 4.5 points out of six and am very happy with my performance so far.Hopefully there are no surprise results in the games of tomorrow too as I see them highly unlikely especially Manchester City and also Real Madrid should win easily their games.I have also gone all in for Real Madrid in Pot B which I have very high expectations meanwhile I also thought to go all in for PSG but I was not convinced,at least I got them a nice exact score of 1-2 in this match which boosted my chances to end this season in a prize spot in Pot A.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: March 05, 2024, 12:47:32 PM

it would be better if you don't have extra money, don't gamble. let alone using borrowed money, by using borrowed money of course we have to return the money in full. Yes, if you win from gambling, you can definitely return the loan money quickly. However, if we lose, we still have to return the money, not to mention we are still haunted by the curiosity of why we didn't place more bets when we were about to win.

Using borrowed money will also disturb our psychology, so that we don't feel comfortable when gambling. That's what I think, what about you?

This feeling that we are "about to win" is the worst one. How many times gamblers lost a lot of money because of that feeling! Some gamblers don't realize that the number of your previous losses doesn't affect the outcome of the next game in any way.

I know this yet anytime I am playing I am deceived by that inner voice that tells me since you did not get the bonus round for so many spins it means that you are getting it soon and maybe you will win a lot by doing so.I keep listening and wait for the bonus round to fall after more than 500-700 spins and when it comes it pays almost 0 money leading only to more lost money.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: March 05, 2024, 08:59:47 AM
If an addict lives with me, I would make him a bet he cant fulfil or win Cheesy I will try to trick him with "I bet you will able not to gamble for half a year" (actually any long period would do, but the longer the better). Will announce a solid price and wait to see how he will try to self cure. This might sound silly, but I think this might be helpful and do the trick. And I will repeat that few times. The effect will be unnoticeable from first glance, but it will at least train that person for self control.

To me this is not silly at all although an addicted person will never agree to 6 months without gambling even if the price is huge if he can fulfill this promise.I think a more realistic approach would be starting with 2 weeks or something along these lines which is more doable even for an avid gambler.Even this short amount of time can help achieve some sort of self control to the addicted person,of course is not going to help since the first try but the more tries the more patience gained.

Gentlemen, it's about a day away from the next match, so please don't forget to enter your picks -- I'll also require a BTC address in your Pot B submission. Only 15 entries received, don't wait till the last minute, there's little that will influence the outcome over the next 20 or so hours!

Lazio is tasty, so is Porto. Are we ready for a night or two of major upsets? May the gods of football say so.

I have gone all in again this time for a clear favorite, not naming it here but in Pot B I like consistency over trying to hit 200 points at once, some people will hit it maybe but they will be very few compared to consistency which is key in climbing as many positions as needed in Pot B.

Let me now also put the Pot A predictions as I fight there too although I am not that much confident for Pot A as I am for Pot B regarding the results but anything can happen, the miracle can happen to hit some prize spots in both Pot A and B,why not dream it.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: March 04, 2024, 03:14:50 PM
Yep, no strategy can make someone win all the time, on the contrary, most strategies in gambling are recipes to disaster which means that you will lose more money or almost everything you have if you try and apply a strategy to your betting pattern. Martingale strategy is famous for cleaning up the bankrolls of gamblers.

Absolutely, you've captured a fundamental truth about gambling. No strategy can guarantee consistent wins, and many strategies, if relied upon too heavily, can indeed lead to significant losses. This is because most Casinos and bookmakers always have a built-in advantage in their games or odds, ensuring that over the long run, they will make a profit. This means that even if a player employs a strategy, the odds are in favour of the house rather than the player. For example, in games like roulette or slot machines, where outcomes are purely based on luck, no amount of strategy can alter the odds in favour of the player.

While some strategies may seem promising in the short term or specific circumstances, they often fail to account for the inherent randomness and unpredictability of gambling outcomes. Moreover, factors such as variance, bankroll management, and the psychological aspect of gambling play crucial roles in determining success or failure. It's important for individuals to approach gambling with a realistic understanding of the risks involved and to gamble responsibly. This includes setting limits on both time and money spent, avoiding chasing losses, and understanding that ultimately, gambling should be seen as entertainment rather than a reliable source of income.

I've seen it many times: people get excited about a probable win, just to lose. Gambling "strategy" is a myth and wishful thinking. Bankroll management is often discussed but rarely performed. Not only should you minimize your spending, but every penny gambled is certainly a penny lost. Chasing losses? A recipe for despair. Gambling should be seen as enjoyment with a cost, not an investment.

Lets not ignore gambling's psychological trap. It exploits optimism and the excitement of "what if," leaving many regretful. Responsible gambling requires self-awareness, addiction recognition, and the willingness to stop. Remember that leaving is brave.

The management can rarely be performed for the simple reason that a human being simply cannot control all the feelings and emotions which one way or another impact the management set at the beginning, that is why also managing gambling funds is extremely difficult to achieve.

If you can't manage it then everything else will make you go only south in the long run as the problems will only arise and become bigger if you use more money than that allocated.

I think tomorrow we start another match day and since no one was posting on this thread lately I decided to write here for anyone to not forget to put your picks and especially Pot B picks as you have time until the first game of this match day starts.

Pot B remains extremely interesting as the guys trying to catch upsets are slowly failing and the guys who go for a normal result are coming up to take their places.Let's see who will be right in the end of the tournament.

For the first time, it seems, in 4-5 rounds I managed to make a prediction in pot B  Cheesy

Is it just me or is everyone who is going all-in on Lazio now? Odds of 11 look hyper-attractive and are obviously more realistic than Copenhagen winning against City at odds of 18. In fact, with how poorly Bayern are playing, it seems that even a cash bet on Lazio or Lazio double chance makes sense.

Since I want other people to lose  Grin go ahead by all means and play Lazio.I know how poorly Bayern is performing but keep in mind that Bayern will be fully focused in Champions now and most likely if they have an odd of over 1.6 I am going all in for them in Pot B as the most safe bet to be playing this match day.It is either I make it if Bayern wins or break my good run if they fail to win.I hope no big surprise happening on Tuesday games.

I of course don't want to judge the specific person who took his own life because of gambling but I want once again to re emphasize the importance to keep believing in yourself no matter how difficult or impossible the solution one have to remember that times heal everything and everything can be recovered with desire to turn things around and strong self will to do so.The people who commit suicide I don't know what they think but that is never the solution to any problem you may have.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 04, 2024, 11:27:57 AM
Juventus wouldn't give up in this match, as the have equalize the goal on the 81st minutes of the game. Cheisa tool a beautiful shot which went straight to the post.

Napoli is not happy with the equalizer, and they are playing aggressively to equalize the goal, and Osinmeh has been brought down inside the 18 yard box to give Napoli the opportunity to take the lead again.

Osinmeh has played the penalty, but the goalkeeper push the ball out, giving Raspadori the hope of hitting the ball back inside the net to put his club on the lead.

Napoli 2-1 Juventus.

a truly alarming misstep, let's remember that the only commitment the black and white team has is the Italian League
He has no other commitments
this makes it clear that she isn't really ready and that she also had to play in the cups, she would have had a lot of problems managing the turnover
of course is my humble opinion, imho

This year no one is expecting anything in the Serie A.Inter is already to much ahead and they don't care much now after such lost game of Juventus as even if they lose 5 consecutive games they still can win the title judging by such bad performance from Juventus. All the other teams now know that they are just playing for statistics and a place in Champions as the only consolation prize of this season Serie A in Italy.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 04, 2024, 10:47:23 AM
It's interesting indeed, because even though Bayern Munich this season will fail to win the Bundsliga trophy but yes, basically Bayern Munich still has good quality if we only compare Bayern Munich with Lazio. But yes, theresult in the first leg was a surprise because apart from losing with a score of 1-0, but in fact that Bayern Munich also had no shots on target at all in the first leg. Therefore, in the first leg it can be concluded that Bayern Munich played very badly or perhaps, Bayern Munich underestimated Lazio too much so that Bayern Munich was not in good focus in that match. So yes, with a very bad result in the first leg, then Bayern Munich should produce a better result in the second leg because Bayern Munich will also be playing at home.

It seems to me that there should be no such thing as underestimating an opponent at the Champions League playoff stage ,any team that was able to pass the group stage should by default be an opponent that is worthy of respect. Bayern simply were not ready for Lazio to play so well in defense, I think this is the main reason. But Bayern have the second leg where they will have a chance to turn things around, the difficulty for them may be, that their defense is not the best, and if Lazio can score again and try to play just as well in defense then there could be a sensation.

Bayern Munchen has shifted their full focus in the Champions League now that they don't stand a chance to win the Bundesliga this season. This makes me think that they can crush Lazio in this second leg as losing here would be a really bad move and all this season would go in vain for Bayern Munchen.I think they are more than capable of beating Lazio and I am highly confident that is exactly what is going to happen in this second leg.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 04, 2024, 10:25:11 AM

Martingale is the only strategy that I know and I also thought that it would work very well to provide consistent profits to players who apply it and that must be balanced with big capital, but it turns out I was wrong because no matter how huge the capital provided in this system is, eventually everything will run out so there will never be a strategy that can work perfectly to provide consistent profits in games based on luck, maybe it will work in 1x to 2x our game sessions but still, in the end, it will only make us lose all our balance especially if we don't set it correctly like when we implement this in dice games and confidently leave our gaming sessions in automatic mode because it will only be a disaster for the player.

When it comes to luck-based games anything can be applied as long as you do not overuse it and create a lot of variations, why we choose patterns because we are used to them in our daily activities we try to be organized, plan everything, I sometimes have success doing a lot of variations and just rely on luck but anything you should do, you should do it without pressure and it should be fun.
It's fun doing these variations and looking for patterns I tried it myself, but do not overdo it and just put money that you can afford to lose, it's not the task of looking for the right pattern but the excitement of implementing it

Luck based games have no pattern to which you can rely and everyone in theory should know that, each spin or each game is completely independent of each other and only a noob or a dreamer can think such things can really exist.Even newbies release quite early that behind these games are a complete group who audit those before shipping them to the casinos and as such strategies or patterns do not work in luck based games.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: March 04, 2024, 08:49:43 AM
It really depends on the type of job you have.

Some jobs require full undivided attention whereas others can be done while watching a movie for example.

Gambling in the second case should probably not be a big deal.

I think the kind of job is irrelevant, as we know the effect of gambling during work. For some, maybe it's no big deal, but gambling could lead to addiction, while watching a movie does not in most cases. The rule is very specific from the company's end: "No gambling at work" because they want to emphasize that it will make employees unproductive. They don't want to waste resources paying people who are not producing for the company.

Just think this way.. Why would some countries ban gambling if they doesn't have bad effect to people?

An In-Depth Guide On Countries Where Gambling Is Illegal

I agree that it depends on the job. Some jobs do not require full attention, when I was working as an IT in not a really needy environment for IT I used to wait for users to call me for their problems and I used to gamble there any time I wanted to do so.Since I changed job and work in a very dynamic company,a bank I now barely have time to post here in the forum let alone gambling so I have no time at all in this job to gamble as I am concentrated almost all the time checking things are working like they should.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 04, 2024, 08:04:51 AM
Do you prefer games where you know right away whether you've won (or lost) casino style, or do you prefer other games like sports betting? Do you have any other favorite games?

I like casino style games as it means you don't have to wait a lot like in sport bets and I don't like to wait a lot especially when you have a sport ticket with a lot of games on.Of course the casino style games pose a much higher risk as you can lose a whole lot more than in sport betting so be careful here.Addiction comes exactly from these games and not from sport betting. So if you are weak better stick to sport betting.

So what does Russia gain if they can keep up their intensive air campaign for another year?Ruining their economy which they already done in the most possible successful way as the average Russian now is worthless in any place as soon as you pass the Russian border meaning they made the Russians look like dogs which no one likes and this is not something to be proud whatever the war outcome can be in the end (it is not coming to an end soon anyway).Secondly by killing like 4-5 people daily, innocent people and in some days like 20-30 in the terrorist attacks against civilians won't make Russia win anything anyway so I really am missing out on what is Russia really gaining out from this war so far?
719  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Look presentable so opportunities would come your way. on: March 03, 2024, 09:15:40 PM
You know they had always been this popular saying that “the way you dress will be the way you’re addressed” of course they are different dress code for different occasions. As a young and vibrant young person, you ought to dress smart and smell nice that’s your one way ticket of gaining recognition in any meeting. The way you dress and how nice you smell will grant you audience to any meeting or hearing.

As a young man you don’t have to be  caught unfresh, that will drop your swag, and this may lead to low self esteem and even lack of confidence.  Opportunities may even come your way simply because of how you dress and how well you’re able to rep yourself, this is the simplest task but most important part facing the real world. It really pays when you invest in yourself.

You don't expect to go for a job interview or contract offer looking messy or in disorder and you expect the employer to grant you a job opportunity, also asides looking presentable in physical, one ought to be very organized for instance over here in the forum, if you present your posts well by creating quality and quantity posts, meaningful posts that are attractive it could fetch you opportunities, what are the opportunities, Merits that could help you rank up.

I have to contradict this somewhat.I strongly agree that you have to dress well and smell great when you go for a job interview because the first impact is always the one who will either hire you or don't hire you,yet there are times when that is not enough, you get past the first impact and you get invited for a second interview and then you mess it up there, let's suppose it is a technical interview for a technical job and you respond to lots of technical questions wrong, this most likely mean that you will not go further and won't get a job so only dressing well won't make you go further unless you add it also big preparation for the opportunities when they will come to you.
720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israel-Hamas War on: March 03, 2024, 08:47:31 PM
The fact that the civil society in every developed country condemn Israel is because they claim they are at war with Hamas yet they keep killing innocent persons, the same thing that Russia is doing and is being condemned by not only civil society but also by the governments, something not being done against Israel and that is clearly understandable as Israel runs all the bank business in the world so there is no way the governments would be calling the war a genocide like they are calling it for Russia, this shows the double standard of our societies, all of them, west which I am part of and also east which they claim other things and other things.I do not trust anyone anymore in this world except myself.
