I mailed support and told them not to send my coins to me yet.

What are you trying to do? You only need to create a seed once. Then you only need the seed if your original wallet screws up or something. |

What i read here, the BIG ico's are promising to do, but still a long way from doing it, the likes of Waves and Lisk for example. So it would be really ideal, for people to have a quick comparison guide to easily see why IOC is the Smart investment Choice.

I am right in thinking NO other alt has this in crypto?
(take a look at Waves lite wallet/ap) everyone is raving about how great it is, but none of the features inside are working and they are still a long wya from developments, same developments as I/O Digital is close to releasing. You guys need to make people aware of this, be proud and make sure to let everyone know how good your developments are compared to these other BIG volume, BIG Bitcoin Eating ICO's.
2- Patent and Trademarks.
Meaning no crappy ICO can come along and clone all your hard work and investment?
3- Foundation.
Making I/ODigital a recognized company, which very few are in crypto.
1- decentralized aliases : probably correct that we are the only ones having that in operation 2- Patent and Trademarks : no, that has more to do with large companies wanting to use the patented idea of us and need to pay a license to use it. Inherently when its closed source others cannot copy and paste it. it is protecting our investment but also opens up possibilities to partner with others in a legit way. If they pay the license (if we go for the license model), then IOC will be supported in value as well. 3- Foundation: correct. We are in the final stages. overall: making a chart comparing what we deliver against what others promise is fine by me. The core team only does not have any time on researching this. Everybody is most welcome to seek the differences and post it in a nice graphic. People asked us how we compare to LISK, ETH, Waves etc. That is a lot of research to do. So looking at the bigger picture. If i wanted 10,000 VRM it would cost me 60k vrc. (if i bought on day one)
Compare this to day 2 it would cost me 70,000 a diff of 10k = 1BTC at 10k satoshi vericoin price. WOW.

As we get closer we will go into detail, but we are going to setup a web interface where you submit a VRM address you generate in a test net wallet and save the private key. After receiving the VRM address the site will generate an associated VRC address that you send VeriCoin to. Depending on how much VeriCoin you send in, when Verium is launched the system will send out the corresponding amount of Verium to the address submitted. Please realize that (some, at least the most serious) exchanges run their own security audits before actually integrating new markets. This means that most exchanges will check the code for viruses, malware, etc. as they should. Therefore is a bit difficult to predict with accuracy when exactly the exchanges will start adding WAVES. Furthermore, the exchanges themselves will be announcing the WAVES market inclusion, it does not correspond to us doing so, therefore continuosly asking in Bitcointalk or Slack will not make the process any faster. I/O COIN DEVELOPMENT UPDATE June 13th 2016 Hello Community we have been hard at work over the course of this last 2 weeks getting the code working just as we wanted, this to get the skeletal operations in place for the back end. We have now finally handed over to Ophie (Front End Developer) to start work on the front end. Today Ophie started to work on things like column text spilling over and the line in the name list, that needs to be arranged so that Aliases can be selected. Moving along we are to start back end api work on the messaging part of the wallet and once ophie is done with the aliases front end work he will begin messaging. As you all know we had in mind to do our decentralized aliases, but now they have been upgraded to private (stealth) aliases and they are working in the backend. This is a huge milestone as people will be able to keep the alias registration private. On another note, we want to announce that Joel with the help of the entire team has been working on a Patent and Trademarks. Yes a patent and Trademarks. We have dubbed this project Codename "Sunrise". Joel has been working hard on an idea for a very long time for the future, to bring our blockchain to the people, specifically to use the ioc chain and chameleon. Richard will be filing for i-depot which is for securing the ideas in the BeNelux ( belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) which is also internationally recognized intellectual service. More info will be available as soon as is patent pending. Joel will be meeting with his legal team in the next few weeks to submit. I think this is the most relevent question of all. IF so then the exchanges will announch the launch but Wave team need first to confirm if they released the full nodes! Correct. Lets hope all is ready, so far Waves have been Bang On with the developments, so looking forward to a silky smooth launch (hopefully sometime after 2am and before 6am USA times. Let us Europeans have the first bite of the cake for once!  |

I would love to know what the devs thoughts are on the increasing btc price. Personally I dont think its bad timing... after all, an increase in btc price means higher marketcap for waves. I think nows the time in crypto to hold everything you own... btc and altcoin investments. I dont think its the best decision to sell good altcoins for btc and visa versa right now. Everythings on the up.

What about these "incorrect accounts" You guys mentioned something about addresses not being correct for some people. How would anyone know their address is not correct in the lite wallet? I think people were writing in strings that were not valid Waves addresses, e.g. Phoney Street 12, Scammetown. or something similarly invalid Or possible trying to write the Waves address by hand and missing out a character or 2-3-4 etc. There are formulas to check if the address is valid. I think the protocols are robust enough to identify the incorrect ones. It is possible to make a typo and still have a valid address but most of the time a simple type would be rejected. The desktop lite client, does it need to be turned on to receive waves? It does not work like usual crypto wallet that have to sync blockchains right? |

Your stupidity is unmatched and I laught at your loss Thats another way of putting it  It is good to shake out weak hands, self-regulatory process. Morons are born to lose. Its not shaking out weak hands though, many sold over 10k and are buying back under 7k how many times have we seen this is the last few months.... its getting too obvious, all this up to 12k-13k (with up to 30btc support) then dumped back down to 6-7k region (with support going below 5btc), looks real bad on the charts. |

Hi I/ODigital Team, After spending time in the Waves forum, i am gutted we do not have a Signature for I/OCoin! I "Borrowed" some code from the Waves signature to try and hack together an I/OCoin signature. Not too bad, but would love the logo there also.
