701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Crypto Pump Island a scam or legit? on: October 08, 2019, 10:28:41 PM
There are plenty of altcoins and massive amount of shitcoins, they are the ones responsible for pumps and dumps those shitcoins that benefit a few especially themselves but many people in the telegram dumps incur losses because they have bought some coins and then telling the group to pump it, when the price spike up, they will sell first.
702  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beat CoinMarketCap on: October 08, 2019, 05:24:04 PM
Coinranker seems better than coinmarketcap, the most important thing is the price constantly refreshed automatically according to the market.
I was quite fed up with coinmarketcap, just occasionally visit it I want to check certain coins history.
However, to check bitcoin price better to check on some exchangers rate such as https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think is the best rate price for btc? on: October 08, 2019, 04:01:00 PM
??

Take a look at https://coinmarketcap.com/ ?

Anyway, if you're asking for the best price to buy, it's every time. Do dollar-cost averaging, and chances are, you're going to make money in the long term.

or take a look at https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/

$7,800 still a good entry point for now.

for another case, the best average price should be $1M for BTC1 in 10 years later.
704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Market Update: BTC continues to drop lower, where next? on: October 08, 2019, 03:29:44 PM
I'm heavily eyeing up the low $7,000's and have bids placed in the vicinity of $7,050-$7,350 which I'm expecting to be filled in the next 48 hours or so.

I don't think it will happen in 48 hours, bitcoin will tank above $7,700 and $8,000 still the resistance point. Bitcoin may reach over $8500 in a couple of days.
Especially with the hype of ETF approval by SEC, or probably not. You may want to consider this into your prediction.

705  Economy / Economics / Re: Coincheck of Japan Rolls Out Bitcoin (BTC) Payment for Gas on: October 08, 2019, 02:36:58 PM
The article is a bit confusing.... is it only 3% that you save on a monthly basis, or is that on top of the 3% in discount when you pay with Bitcoin? I personally think it's just 3% on a monthly basis.

It's actually 6%, they get a 3% discount and 3% rebate in bitcoin sent to their Coincheck wallets, that's a big temptation which difficult to resist, the more bill is paid, the more bitcoin they get. a great strategy that targets customers to encourage bitcoin adoption and used for retail shopping which in time will spread among merchants and retail owners.
706  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoTalk started paying its users for posting. on: October 08, 2019, 12:13:54 PM
Everyone who is Wearing / Promoting / Managing the cryptotalk signature is directly / indirectly supporting spam ?
My answer is yes. I'm not saying everyone who is wearing the Cryptotalk signature is a spammer. Indeed, there have been a coupe of posters I generally hold in high regard whom I have been quite disappointed to see wearing the signature. But everyone who is wearing it is encouraging spammers, either here or on Cryptotalk.

Let's be fair, we don't wants to encourage spammers, everyone who wears a signature has the same thought to earn some.
Although there are fewer restrictions and requirements to join this campaign, I joined this sig because the manager is a trusted person here.
Do you believe yahoo encouraging spammers? Of course not, therefore why this thread exists, hence your words against yourself.
707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 08, 2019, 10:33:06 AM
Indeed, just holding while watching bitcoin price spike Smiley but then plummet is pretty poor strategies that really push my patience without getting a piece of cake in the event.
Most people aren't good traders to navigate in this volatile cryptocurrency market, so smart holding compliments between just holding and active trading to increase my bitcoin holdings and prevent panic selling in bear market. Recently, sold at $8,400 and buyback at $7,800 makes me feel good.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 ways to help you not be emotionally dominated when trading cryptocurrencies on: October 08, 2019, 06:57:42 AM
Isn't it all about psychology? If you do the same things with the others, in emotionaly meaning, you will be the mass who loses money.
It's not just about psychology but how to have a comprehensive understanding from the beginning and make good planning, stick to it and do not act recklessly.

So, it is all about acting rationally and doing the opposite of the mass time to time. So, I value the hints that you have given for not acting pyschologically. I think we should let the bots to the trading and decrease the effects of human beings for trading.

Why doing the opposite? When the price drop, people will buy the dip, if you do the opposite, then it's sold at the dip?
If the price rises up, the mass will sell at the peak, but you buy at the peak? You will have the greatest loss all the time.
709  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2019-10-07 CNBC - ‘We’re closer than we’ve ever been’ to bitcoin ETF approval on: October 08, 2019, 05:07:35 AM
We have been here several times but the ETF always got rejected again and again, we might see the hype in the market until on October 13th, a good thing though, especially for traders. SEC will have another argument of disagreement about why bitcoin ETF can not be accepted yet, volatility and manipulation still the best reasons for them.
However, if it really happens, better to hold btc as much as possible at this point.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 08, 2019, 03:40:59 AM
For people who bought btc at the peak e.g. $20K then bitcoin tumbled to $10K, can't wait but cut loss.
Bitcoin takes a long time to recover to its ATH, and many people waiting for that to happen, they must have thought like; I did a mistake investing in bitcoin.
That's why, for people who looking for profit by investing in bitcoin but can't wait for years, it is a mistake.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 07, 2019, 11:49:17 PM
bitcoin is not used as a currency, it seems that the influence of total supply is very limited and the price is very expensive so it makes the price of bitcoin very expensive and is not suitable if used as a currency because it will be difficult to use for transactions.

But it has been used as currency for years, people buy and sell things using bitcoin as a medium of exchange, it's a daily routine here in this forum and many others out there do it. What makes bitcoin isn't so good as fiat money due to its volatility, early adopters hoarding bitcoin while the whales on the wall street manipulate the price according to their need to gain profit in this market. The limited supply of bitcoin isn't the main problem, scarcity makes bitcoin won't lose its value to zero instead keep rising.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sentiment just hit rock bottom on: October 07, 2019, 04:13:25 PM
And the price bounce back above $8200 after a bit dip to $7788, I thought the price was going to fall below $7600 but it didn't but recover instead.
But the bounce is just temporary as the last seven days the market was so bearish, it just not make sense for traders to not short an asset that looks so bearish.
Remember when the price fall to $7800 but be able to gain value to $8500 and then gradually drop to $7788, the cycle will repeated again after the price reach the peak but when it fall again, expect it to go deeper than $7700.
713  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has not any government stopped Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2019, 01:38:54 PM
Many governments have done it,

Not that many and most of those who did are third world piss poor countries nobody visits like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, or Vanuatu. Nobody outside of their countries cares what they ban or allow inside their borders.

Not only third world poor countries, but there are also Egypt, Marocco, Bolivia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Colombia, and China.
Some of those probably not banning exchangers but at least governments not allowing banks and financial institutions to facilitate bitcoin transactions.
714  Economy / Economics / Re: First Country to have comprehensive regulations for crypto token economy on: October 07, 2019, 12:13:19 PM
I think such a law could be called regulation to attract investment

Quote
"With the TVTG an essential element of the financial center strategy of the government is implemented and Liechtenstein is positioned as an innovative and legally secure location for providers in the token economy.”
They are trying to steal the limelight from Malta as a safe place for the growing Blockchain industry in the world.
I do not know if the topic is right, but I think they talk about "token economy," which talks about the modification of behavior to increase the desired behavior and reduce unwanted behavior, but I do not know whether the role of cryptocurrencies in such an economic circle.

Obviously, another country joins the crypto-world to attract fintech and blockchain companies as "Bittrex recently announced its new trading platform, Bittrex Global, to be headquartered in Liechtenstein. Bittrex chose to establish a trading platform in Liechtenstein because of the small country's clarity in regulating digital currencies and blockchain technology.
Nevertheless, whenever crypto law and regulations emerge, there will be Taxes behind it, people must be prepared whether all the crypto transactions should be reported to the government in the future.

    This stuff is getting boring.

Gemini is just a greed machine too, while the people who own Gemini are already ultra ultra wealthy, and they just want to keep becoming more and more greedy.
What's up with Gemini? It's a convenient exchanger, not a greedy machine like you claim.

Interesting.  There is negativity in the whole community too.  Try talking to anybody about your entrepreneurship concepts and everybody just throws mud on it like a bunch of Negative Ninnys.

It's not the whole community, have you met and talk to each person in the community? maybe you just unlucky talk to some wrong people with a negative mind.
    Try again.[/list]
716  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoTalk started paying its users for posting. on: October 06, 2019, 01:58:19 PM
Don't think they care about that to be honest, they just want the fake attention and posts on the forum in order to get some advertising money, which is a fair route to take if they don't care about quality.

They have a different agenda and i am honestly not sure how this will work for them.
Taking the quality vs quantity thing further, see what i found there.

This is what happens when you have no one to control the spam  Angry

How can a person doing 200+ Posts in a day can be constructive ?

Nice catch, wondering who is the owner of this account, what is the name of this account and the UID? Let us find him.
Never imagine it could be possible for 400+ posts to be paid, I thought there is a rule that state only 30 posts will be paid.

717  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [CONTEST] Make max posts and win 1 btc ! on: October 06, 2019, 01:37:13 PM
With 1 btc at stake, spam posters are inevitable. Originally, the big prizes to encourage members to contribute to advancing the forum, but the spam posters and non-constructive posts should not be calculated which is a huge task for moderators. Even we can easily spot some members post in 2-5 minutes without no clue regarding the object they are talking about.
    718  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BitGame.online ★ Sports Odds Multiplier up to x1.05 ★ 100% Deposit Bonus ★ on: October 06, 2019, 06:14:37 AM

Let me explain what is going on... Our wallet was hacked, so currently we have problems with withdrawals. I am sure that within several days we will recover our funds and all pending withdrawals will be processed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

why you haven't made an announcement till now ? people been waiting for weeks and carton said he has been waiting since 3 weeks
if you can't pay people then you should shut down deposits as well cause it's looking like you just want people to deposit without being able to withdraw , this is shady AF

Another shady game site has to be closed the service for a while until all the issues resolved and everyone gets what they deserve for waiting over a week.
719  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has not any government stopped Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2019, 02:17:42 AM
Governments have done enough to dissuade common people from using Bitcoin extensively. Being charged with operating unlicensed money changing businesses is a possibility if you engage in cash-bitcoin conversion.

Many governments have done it, for the countries which prohibited cryptocurrency, at least they could pass a law to prevent citizens convert bitcoin into cash through a big exchanger, but they can't prevent someone to do over the counter transaction, just like any other prohibited things. Moreover, exchanging bitcoin into cash and vice versa is not a crime such as trading narcotics which must be banned. People will always do it when there is an opportunity to, as long as there is no evidence to stop them.
    720  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 05, 2019, 06:24:30 PM
Everyone who has bitcoin has the same right to use it in any way they want. Spend it right now or trading bitcoin is fine because that's the way to spread bitcoin across the world. yes, bitcoin price will rise over time in a lengthy process and people who spend their bitcoin will lose massive value throughout the years, but what has passed, let it pass. Bitcoin meant to be a means of payment, a medium of exchange, store of value, an asset, but we have to buy and sell bitcoin for massive adoption to happens, others will never get bitcoin if no one spend it.
