701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best thing you bought with Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2021, 06:40:52 PM
What was the best/most interesting thing you bought with Bitcoin, when, where you bought it and how many Bitcoins it did cost? Grin

I almost bought a desert eagle on some darkmarket for like 8 Bitcoins (around 6500 CZK by that time) but I decided not to buy it, because it maybe was scam and if not, then my mom would kill me with it, if she knew that I was big gun fan back then... Cheesy Cheesy
The first and the last time I tried buying something with Bitcoin, it didn’t work out for me and that ended up discouraging me from trying to buy any other thing with Bitcoin. This was when Xapo was still operating as a cryptocurrency wallet at the time, and I think that was around 2015 or 2014. So, I checked their website and there were  quite a few things that you can do with Bitcoin on their website. What really got me interested was that you can purchase airtime from there.

Why this seemed interesting to me was because I couldn’t believe how it was going to be possible for me to purchase airtime from a company that is not in my country, so I decided to give it a try, and at the end of the day it didn’t work out and I never received the airtime. I lost the money so I never tried buying any other thing with Bitcoin, and the only thing I do now is just invest and hold.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 04, 2021, 08:59:08 PM
I believe taking the knee is causing more issues than solving the racism problem, because each time someone refuses the knee it’s taken in the wrong sense. Also ICC could organise some ad campaigns to spread awareness, and stop the knee bending because its dividing the cricket world and neither side is wrong (those taking the knee, and those refusing to take).
A better thing is ICC sit with all boards and having some soft discussion after this they can oblige things in better way because few taking knees and few refusing is not good they must do one decision about this which could be more good for all and as you suggested they can bring few ads for this.

As of now, some other issues also having more attention than knee taking which need some good effort, but sadly we have no maturity from ICC about this all. In event, we have few cases which bring serious confusion but then settled, it's also not good thing for players and management.

704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 25, 2021, 11:23:23 AM
Today 15 October, Bitcoin crossed 59000 usdt and we are waiting for Next Bull market, and all Buyer already fill his bag with Altcoin. I want to know that share your best Altcoin that you hold for Next Bull market.
About 50% of the coins I’m holding in my wallet is Bitcoin, and the remaining 50% goes to altcoins and not so many of them. First I'm holding Ethereum, which is one of my favourite alternative crypto currencies in the market. Then apart from Ethereum, I’m also holding Solana (SOL) which has been one of the biggest trends as of this year .  The next altcoin I’m holding is Dogecoin which I bought when the Dogecoin market was trending.

So, I’ve kind of been holding it for some time now and I think it’s doing quite well, there have been an increase of over 5% today. Then the next one is Tron, which I have been investing in for so long now because I really like it. Apart from all these, I also have Polygon, polkadot, and the Thera. I believe they will be bullish.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin metrics “INSANELY BULLISH”! Can the King go to 200K or more this cycle? on: October 24, 2021, 01:42:44 PM
I think this Bitcoin price prediction for 2021 ($ 100,000 or $ 200,000) is very optimistic.
Yeah, many experts has predicted about reaching price levels between $100k to $400k by end of this year. Also, some people are expecting bitcoin to continue its bull run even in 2022 which means I guess around $400 levels also possible.

As of now, bitcoin is not insanely bullish unlike how it was trading by the times of earlier this year but now it is moving up slow and steady. Usually all slow and steady movements will turn as too faster over the time hence we could expect the same to be happening when FOMO will come into action.

my prediction is for a BTC peak price this market cycle of ~$150K late Dec before a bear cycle starts 1st Quarter 2022
End of bullish trend may happen along with this year end but when considering El Salvador and bitcoin ETF news, then I guess we may have bullish trend till 2nd quarter of 2022 too; we cannot speculate exactly hence we need to be more careful if we plan to book profits at peak.

707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 11, 2021, 09:58:17 PM
I think that the Villarreal - Osasuna game this Sunday would be a very competitive one as there is only a three-point gap between these teams. Osasuna are in a way better shape by the way. Osasuna have a winning streak of two games now. They defeated Rayo Vallecano last and we know how good Vallecano have been doing lately. When it comes to Villarreal, they have gotten five draws in seven games. This is just enormous. Maybe they still haven't lost a game but this is not a very nice form for them also. They are hungry for a winning streak and they won their last game. Villarreal lost their last home game against Osasuna by 2-1. This is also going to be tough. I might bet on both teams to score.
It makes sense, after checking the match history of both teams I am interested in placing the same bet both teams to score Osasuna as the better team can score but Villarreal can hit back because they don't want to be embarrassed in front of fans. Over goals is also interesting, I estimate at least 3 goals in this match.
This is very good but still tricky bet because after having break many times we have very few goals in matches because players need some time for having better results but after having all statics of both teams I am also feeling very good about both teams to score or over 3 goals because their history is good in goals instead of ML or any bet.

But, one more thing as in this season Vilareal is playing mostly on defense mode, and they are not going for attacks so better check all things before placing bet is much better because I am feeling they will surely go for minimum one point from this match as they are alone unbeatable team in La Liga in current season.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: October 11, 2021, 09:45:12 PM
I guess whenever PSG ends up losing in the league, that is a great time for the sportsbooks to be fair. They always give them a good amount of odds and the other side is rarely ever good and Angers probably do not get that much betters neither. In this case I would assume that sportsbooks would be the one that make the most profit if PSG loses, or if a draw happens in which case it will be even rarer.

Most people wager on PSG, and by a big margin as well, like 70%+ people wager on PSG most probably, a case could be made for as high as 90%+ as well. This is why only "few" people would be richer if Angers wins, whereas it is a bigger profit for the sportsbooks.
If any team in any sports around the world lost with these odds surely it's good day for bookmakers because we have very big community in gambling those love to place bets like this without any analysis or search because they feel it's free money, but they never know there is no free money in world for anyone.

And in PSG case it really matters because they are really giants in French League, and they have some most lethal players in soccer world right now in attack and midfield but still if they are losing then it's matter of worry about their management but really enjoying and profitable for bookmakers.
709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $100,000 in December? on: October 11, 2021, 09:32:53 PM
$100k is highly possible by the month of November or at least by December month of this year.
I guess you are just speculating based on what you have seen by the times of 2017 by the times of bull market. But my question is, what would be guarantee for bitcoin market to be repeating the same kind of behavior this year also. Markets are always known for surprising us; it means anything could happen at any time. So, just expecting (even timing also) might be leading you to mess up your investment plans. So, act based on market things and not by history.
710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 11, 2021, 09:23:30 PM
It depends on the psychology of the person himself. And it does not matter where such a person turns out to be, in a casino or trading on the stock exchange, his views will not differ from this. In this case, he will trade exactly as if he is playing in a casino, betting on red/long or black/short.
I agree. People are treating both gambling and trading in similar manner just because of their own psychology.
If they are caring their financial things then definitely they will find skills to distinguish between trading and gambling. But, most people are lazy but greedy at the same time which is the reason they will never get time to develop their skills but going for trading how they are gambling and keep gambling for easy money.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: October 11, 2021, 09:10:18 PM
I believe that there is going to be some sort of power struggle between crypto and fiat but not for the top, top will always belong to fiat, the struggle will be for payments. We do not have use payments in fiat to make fiat valuable, we could still calculate everything in dollars, but the payment could be done with crypto, that is what we are doing around here, and it could grow so much bigger to include the rest of the world. That is at least what I believe is possible, but it could be different of course.
Unlike fiats, cryptos are having the inherent characteristics of being investment opportunity which must be the reason if there will be a power struggle between crypto and fiats, in the end crypto will get more chances to be winning that kind of struggle.

I do believe that the future of new world might be definitely having some changes than what we are having right now. So, getting ready to adopt any kind of changes might be helping anyone to grow along with new changes otherwise we must need to struggle for adopting in the beginning days.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: Basics of the Current Monetary System on: October 11, 2021, 06:14:51 PM
the only real outcome is the debt continues to increase. As a percentage of GDP, out debt is over 130%. During the Greek financial crisis back in 2010, their debt-to-GDP ratio was 150%. It will only be a couple of years before we surpass those levels. The question is how long will the rest of the world continue to have faith in a currency which, as you say, is turning in to monopoly money.
You could drop the deficit by sooo much if you could tax the rich properly. And I do not mean like do not give them tax cuts or anything, which nobody should do anyway but also tax them higher in federal ways as well.

Amazon paid zero federal taxes so many years, or so that is what I have been told at least, which means there must be so much tax that is gone just because they do not pay federal taxes, not just amazon but god knows how many companies. Plus when your stock portfolio goes up and you do not sell your stocks, you do not pay much tax I believe, or that is what I believe is the case in USA, I am not from there so these are all from what I read.

All these combined plus a LOT LESS military spending would mean that you would both get a shit ton of taxes coming, no breaks for the rich, and a lot less military spending equals ton of surplus let alone any deficit. It is actually "easy" for USA to not only have a tax surplus but also pay all their debt and have money left over. But why? Why would they do that if the deficit works as intended for them? They want rich to get richer and poor to get poorer, and it is working.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT a trustable? on: October 10, 2021, 09:30:02 PM
USDT is trusted though there are lots of existing negative news about it, its stability is still an advantage especially for traders. We always need a stable coin as a base currency so the existence of USDT is too important in the crypto world. If it's a scam, it wouldn't last for years.
We have now very few negative news about this, so I am feeling it's very good going and now one of leaders in crypto market. If someone feels not good then surely he needs to replace this for any other stable coin because now we have some good stable coins in market which are working ok for crypto community.

We have enough reserves to back every USDT minted with a real USD. I think I will be more worried about other coins because the negative news is not only about USDT but a lot of coins that are also affected.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of supremacy between Dogecoin and Shiba Inu on: October 10, 2021, 09:09:20 PM
I don't know which of these two are the best coin investment, I'm not a fan of meme coins because they just pump and dump you know but I believe dogecoin can survive for longer years because it is the first meme coin in history of cryptocurrencies so dogecoin will still remain in the market in the future. I don't know if Shib can survive for long but it's slowly gaining popularity and the price is increasing because of Elon Musk tweets. I'm not sure if this coin is good for long term investment but maybe it's better for short term investment with these meme coins.
Better way is just skipped these two because we all know both are meme coins, those coins have never been good future just having some time because of hype from one feud who is using this all just for his personal sack. Shiba is currently hyping just because to have some of our DEX and some better use case, even we feel there is no competition between these two as mostly feeling.

Dogecoin is having some good time but will, can go down anytime as Elon will drop to hype him, good thing is its community is very big, and they are doing this all for very long time, so Dogecoin can survive for some time.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt coin is best investment for long term? on: October 10, 2021, 08:50:04 PM
The best for a long-term project will be at the moment, from which in future the biggest profit will inevitably go.  Solana, BNB and Luna are the projects that will give profit without any investment.  In addition to these, there is another coin that can make a profit if it is Ethereum.
How can you give big profits without making any investment? because every profit is always achieved in terms of investment and trading and betting on the exchange, because it will not be possible for profits to come by themselves without us moving the capital.
Peoples are doing spam very quickly and have no idea what are they posting they need to read and then give your view is really appreciated because it's really joke he is going to have some good profit without any investment. First we need to read about project and then investing is really appreciated because this can give you good view about project, and you can take some good profit.

As of now, we have few good and solid projects those are doing good for long run, and they can give you very good profit, just keep eye on market and have all updates about them.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 09, 2021, 09:50:11 PM
Liverpool have not very happy statistics in the games against Atlético Madrid. In the last 5 matches they won only once. And they never won in Madrid. However, now Liverpool is showing a good game. There will be an equal game, there will be a draw. But I tend to win Liverpool.
In this season things are completely different because Liverpool is going with full force, and they already won their both matches very good even Atletico Madrid is going with home advantage, but they are not good as Liverpool they were held by Porto at home and won against AC Milan in away game.

Liverpool won their both matches and done some very extraordinary performance, hopefully they will carry on this performance and won against Atletico Madrid. Some other exciting games like Ajax vs Dortmund it's also going to be very excited as both teams are level in quality, but Dortmund is much better, I am feeling they can win this game.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOL is already $144, can still buy it? on: October 09, 2021, 08:35:52 PM
Sol just dip below $150, it has not dipped below $150 for a while.... Looks like its prepping for the next leg up...On the daily, it looks to have reclaimed the daily support... Also forming an inverse head and shoulder (which is bullish) but not confirmed yet. A retest will provide  a perfect opportunity to buy in
looks like sol will be able to solve the problem quickly, they do it with the aim that there is no doubt from investors who can make sol slump. although the price is still not stable and can still continue to grow. this is certainly a very positive thing for sol. currently the price is at $159 and is unlikely to fall below $150.

they are quick and able to react, to reduce so that no one leaves the sole, by giving confidence that problems can be resolved as quickly as possible and the market response is also shifting in a positive direction.
SOL is quick in movement (up and down) because of the high liquidity. It goes up and down like crazy and I do understand how that could be a good thing for investors since people like to see movements. However that is good for traders, not so much for investors. I had some SOL back in the day and sold it for personal reasons and moved it to another coin, but I wasn't happy about the super high volatility neither.

I made some profit from it don't get me wrong however this is not the way I want to profit neither. I would like to profit in a manner that I would feel comfortable with, and not with a way that I feel out of my control. So, SOL could be great, and many people may like it, but not everyone will enjoy the "way" it is good.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 09, 2021, 07:24:35 PM
If RCB wins the match, it will be because of their sheer batting power in the squad. I don't think they have that much depth in their bowling lineup, so the batsmen are the key to their success. They have a very good opening partnership and AB and Maxwell in the middle order is just lethal, to be honest. Let's see how they do in the next matches.
If RCB want to win then surely they need to go first in field because it's the best option for them in presence of this bowling their batsmen able to chase any target, but their bowling are not in position to handle things in second inning because their weakness is well known by many teams, so they try to attack and can chase target.

Still, it is very good matches coming tomorrow and on Monday after these matches we are heading for some qualifiers for Twenty/20 world cup as all teams already here and now going for their luck in big mega event. So, exiting days are ahead for both cricket lovers and sportsbettors as well.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 09, 2021, 06:05:12 PM
I'm waiting for the Atletico Madrid - Liverpool game to watch. But I have doubts about this game also that it might be boring if Liverpool don't take the control of the game from Atletico Madrid. Because Atletico Madrid are one of the teams that play really boring in their home games. It is just about Diego Simeone. He likes to prefer a game plan like this to have things under control even if they aren't able to win. But they might have hard time holding Liverpool up like that. Klopp will choose an attacking game plan most probably and I expect them to score first too. Then, it would be a very delightful game. I think that Liverpool won't lose this game.
I think this is the case when a defense-oriented team meets an attack-oriented team and the result is a nondescript draw. Against a strong opponent (which is undoubtedly Liverpool) Atletico will play in their usual sticky style, in fact, such matches are very difficult to watch especially if it is not a playoff round. I think at best we will have a draw 1-1, but most likely it will be 0-0.
I agree with both of you. Atletico will surely play a very defensive game and will try to score on the counterattack. So I'm guessing that Liverpool will have the most possession, all Liverpool has to make sure is that they don't concede on the counter-attack from Atletico as they also have a pretty deadly front three with Suarez, Griezmann, and Felix. But it will also be a tough match for Liverpool to score as Atletico is very well structured on defense.
We all know tactics from Atletico Madrid, but we also know Liverpool will go with full aggression and most chances they will put very serious pressure on them in first half and try to destroy them because it's their style and most chances they will be succeeded in this way. Liverpool is facing some injuries but good thing these are not serious as last year so still they able to do very good against them. Liverpool's both matches have some good number of goals, so let's see now how Atletico Madrid handle this all and try to have one point against them.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 08, 2021, 09:08:16 PM
Belgium is unfortunately lost the match. But I can't say that France is playing badly. France has performed very well compared to their previous matches. And they deserve this victory. Belgium also played very well. I am happy to see the finals in France and Spain. One team will depend entirely on youngsters, almost all the players on the other team are experienced. Basically the game will be France vs Mourinho.
Surely it's big disappointment for them as they lead in first half and then suddenly things change in last 30 minutes they lost their lead and at the end they lost the match in very bad way.

In first half France was not bad at all as they were also in good touch, but sadly they were not able to have their chances in conversations. But suddenly in last 30 minutes lady of luck hug with them, and they have some extraordinary energy which bring them as victorious at the end of game.

Now France vs Spain is going to be one of the best game as both teams emerged in very good way for this final.
