701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: March 19, 2017, 12:30:35 AM
todays match Caen vs Monaco

A win here will see Monaco widen the gap from PSG reach who are 3 points behind with 9 games to go ,and currently are on a 5 match winning run which should be enough to inspire them to continue on it.
Monaco's morale will certainly be up high fresh from eliminating Manchester city in the Uefa league games and showing the world they are among the elite teams.

Third goal for West Brom Shocked
What has happened?

Even though Arsenal had over 75% ball possession they were no match for an inspired West Brom team thanks to a Craig Dawson brace and Robson-Kanu goal!

And Arse Wenger just got a contract deal signed before this match?
They should of sacked him when they had the chance.
Now they are fd up for another whole year and then some. Angry

This defeat will certainly put Wengers job on the line.

thanks arsenal for the free 5 odds Tongue

  • West Brom v Arsenal: First up with the early kick off... honestly, I think Arsenal should (need to?) win this game. A loss here and even their hopes for European Football next season start looking shaky.

Arsenal need to win this game, but they haven't been in the best of form lately. West Brom are also on a losing streak - they lost to Everton 3-0 and Crystal Palace 2-0. My bet would be on a 1-1 draw between Arsenal and West Brom.

i do not think Arsenal win be winning today because they have been terrible away from home conceding too many goals with the heaviest defeat coming from Bayern in the UEFA League games
as for Westbrom they seem to be a solid team at home and have only lost 5 games from 16 in all competitions.

An upset just might be on the cards for an Arsenal team with managerial problems, good luck.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 17, 2017, 02:17:10 PM
In Europa League :
Anderlecht will face Manchester United .
Celta Vigo will face Gent .
Lyon will face Besiktas in a hard game .
Ajax will face Schalke .

Manchester United and Celta vigo are clearly favored against two Belgian teams. The other two games are very balanced, any team between Ajax, Schalke, Besiktas and Lyon can win
imo Manchester United has been drawn with a team thats topping the Belgian league which makes them a big threat
and with most of uniteds star players injured i wouldnt right them to be favorites of the competition. Maybe Celta and schalke have a good shoot at it.

706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: March 16, 2017, 04:07:54 PM
Bitcoin is already a pioneer of future money all what's required is having an optional anonymous and untraceable transaction and a fix of transaction speeds and we are set for the future Smiley
707  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 15, 2017, 03:44:47 AM
I don't think that physical coin or the cash that we have been using right now will be converted digital soon because it will become hard for some people because not all the people can afford internet or even cellphone or device that they can use. Bitcoin will not replace cash because it is just an addition to the payment options of the businesses and not a currency like fiat that can use everyday and also it doesn't have a fixed price.

Cash will not be removed on our society. Just think about all the people that are not into techy things. If the world or the government would really insist to make that happen, it will take many years to apply that.
I think so too, going completely digital will be expensive for any country considering how much resources will be needed to teach people about how the technology works and the benefits of having it. BTC needs more time before its ready to go mainstream
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what does $1000 bitcoin price mean for altcoins? on: March 14, 2017, 08:21:13 PM
Clearly alot alot of alt coins have been skyrocketing the past couple weeks
Probably because a lot of people are failing to buy bitcoins at the current price and finding altcoins a cheaper alternative to own a crypto coin... causing a limited supply of altcoins on the market and a price surge.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 14, 2017, 07:38:39 PM
I have a feeling Leicester City could drop the bomb tonight and qualify for the quarter finals and looking at the odds I think it's definitely well worth it to put something on them to qualify. I am betting 1 unit on Leicester to qualify in 90 minutes @ 3.7, in extra time @ 29 and after penalties @ 38.

With a new manager taking over Leicester city looks to have been reignited but playing against a team with so much experience in uefa games will be a huge hurdle for them. But interesting enough is the foxes have a 100% home record of winning their uefa games and maybe the 3.7 might land! Goodluck

710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the transaction fee will kill bitcoin? on: March 14, 2017, 05:45:57 PM
this whole high transaction fee is a temporary setback which is likely to be fixed sooner or later...
seeing how efficient the transaction accelerator is working for small fees(0.0001btc),there is definitely a life line for bitcoin.
Besides high tx fees mean there is demand for btc and alot of people are actually using the technology . So transaction fees cant kill bitcoin.

711  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: March 14, 2017, 01:24:30 PM
I'm using bitcoins for safety so the price doesn't affect me and yeah bitcoin wil still be used by many even if it had a steady price.

I agree many people use bitcoin just for the advantages it offers over fiat and not that price is high. However that is the part of the population who transacting on bitcoin. The larger community of bitcoin are the traders and for them the price is everything and without the rising and falling price they would never exist. That would lead to the economy being affected badly.
i agree price isn't the main reason bitcoin is drawing attention to be popular, i think its price fluctuating nature is what the majority (traders) like it for  and some scammers who exploit the irreversible feature of transactions to scam others. Despite this its partial anonymity and  low transaction fees make it a popular choice for many users.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everything is going to be ok. on: March 14, 2017, 09:55:29 AM
A positive attitude is a step in the right direction and its good to see bitcoin is no longer a game of pump and dump
sooner or later we shall be rewarded for holding or simply using btc.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many major cryptocurrencies do you think the world has room for? on: March 13, 2017, 11:50:40 PM
I am sure this is not the first time this question has been asked but I cant find a closely related thread and I searched a few different times.

Anyway, its a simple enough questions. Keep in mind the question is "how many" not "what coins".

I know theres plenty of bitcoin maximalists out there that think theres room for only one coin.

Personally, I could see there being room for a few

You asked for major cryptocurrencies i would say 10 then the rest compete for recognition to be promoted to the big league, and those among the big 10 get relegated if the fail to perform.

Quote

4 - 6 coins + national crypto's if any

I think once it has become "obvious" what coin is going to be the primary transaction coin most of the alts will die out (i know they don't really disappear, but their market cap will drop to 1% or something of the main coin)

the whole idea of cryptocurrencies is to bring about decentralization and aid financial freedom, and having a national crypto would take away financial freedom people need and enjoy. Though adopting the idea of national cryptos will no doubt kill most atlcoins!
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: March 13, 2017, 11:26:42 PM
bitcoin is still a work in progress that needs polishing up to go up against a well established paypal

and imo bitcoin will not over take paypal because these are 2 different products with related attributes which can not displace the other...but rather co-exist.
715  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 13, 2017, 09:45:59 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

the idea of storing bitcoins for a long time is not only a choice of knowing when to spend or hold it
but this process virtually removes your money(btc) out of circulation there by straining supply to stimulate demand and force price increments, rewarding the hodler with good value coins
716  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: March 13, 2017, 08:47:28 PM
I do most of my e-shopping on ebay because its easy to use and i get to use my dicounted gift cards there, plus there is a wide collection of merchandise to choose from unlike amazon....Roll Eyes
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 13, 2017, 06:27:20 PM
Chelsea - Manchester United I have clear decision about Chelsea for this important match and place my bet on it straight at good odds. Chelsea is more strong side so that I'm pretty sure about this result.
Chelsea already has the premier league title in their sights and the fa cup would be a great addiction to their name, with the good football they are playing it might look certain that they will win this fixture facing a Manchester side that is without their star striker Zlatan. But a derby is not always one sided affair.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: March 12, 2017, 09:40:41 PM
Agree.
I think bitcoin need long time to be international currency. It's need introduced to everyone with never know about internet and how bitcoin working. And majority as I know is more than 50% from population.
i think the basic steps of making bitcoin to become an international currency... we should be prioritizing to expose the world to the Internet more thereby giving btc an easy platform for people to know about it, as i see it as a cheap form of publication.
Then work on making the bitcoin network more secure, stable and fast if we ever want bitcoins to get the international recognition.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fans want the last Barca/PSG match to be reviewed ?!? It was the greatest match! on: March 12, 2017, 03:38:06 PM
what gives?? Welcome to the champions league PSG but unfortunately if there isn't sufficient proof of the ref been bias...we have no case here despite "Aytekin's questionable calls!"
Moreover it will conflict both teams calender schedule and most likely barca players and fans would not sign up for this replay.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: March 12, 2017, 10:13:25 AM

Not just coin for the future but the new digital gold. It is just too bad that the EFT got rejected, however, it has still a bright future ahead. Just to think that if ETF has been approved, a lot of cash will flow on the bitcoin ecosystem. But I guess we have to wait again. It will be the next generation of money but will not replace fiat.

the ETF approval would have killed bitcoin with more centralization policies, so imo i think the rejection saved our cryptocurrency from that. For gold to get where is it today it took alot of time
and if bitcoin is to be considered the dital gold we need it to naturally grow and get accepted by the people

They can co exist with each other and we will take advantage of both in terms of its usage in an online payment transaction or system.
Which ever choice of next gen money we choose am confident that it will co exist with fiat to make trade easy and fast to use. Fortunately BITCOIN seems to fit in well to be the next gen currency/money.
