yeah i know, he was impersonating btc-e but I just dont know how he was able to ban my ip and suspend my account. Anyways, I guess the only option is to involve authorities and provide them with as much info about him as possible. If anyone knows anything else about him or whats the best way to go about it, let me know.

His name is arcus isidar and he runs arcusgold.com . I think hes from ontario. I guess my best option is to contact FBI at this point.

beware the member above named "serotin" stole all of my money pretending to be btc-e support. Wouldnt have fell for it if he wasnt able to ban and suspend my account somehow.
still can't get over the fact that he was able to ban and suspend my account after i got it back through their ticket system. So then i provided all info like screens of my wallet. Goddamn crooks, stealing money. Have fun with all the coins i worked for, karma will get you.

Lost all hope. The person on skype contacted me today asking to deposit 50% of the amount I had in the account to verify I am the owner (he told me the amount that there was in the account so its not verifying anything). He has the account and just wants more money from me. I provided him with all kinds of info so in the end he got the account back from btc-e. Well played mate, stole all of my money and now im just a broke college student...Lets see what karma has in store for us...

So apparently i've been talking to btc-e.support on skype but the real one is supposed to be support.btc-e??? OR am i wrong. Someone help

I had the same problem, I contacted btc-e.support on skype. I was able to get my account through their ticket system. Then on skype, he asked if i got my account back, It seemed like a scammer to me at first, asking to change my email to something they provide but then after i was rude he banned my ip and my account.
so my email was changed, should I worry about that at all? Or just sit around and wait. I just don't know if I will get my money back, they wanted me to wait a certain amount of days. I feel like whoever is controlling the account will just wait till the lock is removed from the account and then withdraw..ugh
I guess we will wait and see. I will keep everyone updated. I trust them to get it back to me but not 100%. I have to wait an X amount of days for security measures.

I have a lot more respect for BTC-e after skimming this. Seems to me that they did pretty much everything right, and I'm sure that support was tearing their hair out dealing with someone so clueless. Been there, done that, but thankfully it was a loooong time ago.
Yeah i guess im clueless after reading a few threads were someone on skype with the same username would ask for people's emails AND passwords...
I will keep posting so people can see how btc-e handles this situation in the future. I confirmed I am the original owner and btc-e.support on skype said my account will be back after some days
I've been talking to btc-e.support on skype. I thought he was a scammer but he said he was going to ban me and suspend my account if I didnt do what he wanted and he did do it so that makes me believe hes not a scammer. I was contacted by nikola through their skype, he said he will help me resolve it and get my account back. I still have some hope to get it back.
wheres the thread? cant seem to find it
I will keep posting for myself and until btc-e fixes it or responds here... IP Unbanned, account still suspended...
I need to keep posting because I am going nuts. All of my money is in the account.
Here how the convo started before my account was suspended and I got ip ban. Maybe someone on the inside working to steal couple accounts? I dont know what else to think, this would sound as a simple scam.

He kept forcing me to change my email to an email "they will create".

all tickets closed, no help from their support? How can people do this? Can btc-e please reply here.
I just dont know how he had the power to ban my ip or suspend my account, maybe doing something with my ip or making something suspicious? He was threatening me from yesterday to change the account email to the one "they will create". It has to be an attempt to steal my account because btc-e wouldnt ask the user to change the email, they can change it. Ugh this is so frustrating, all i need is my account and money back.
yeah I did, i just want to find out if this guy on skype is real btc-e support. or he just wants my account. I dont know how he could ban my ip or suspend my account.
So as I've posted earlier, i originally got my account hacked but btc-e was able to return the account back to me. I contacted btc-e on skype at btc-e.support. It seemed fishy from the beginning because I just don't trust anyone. SO ANYWAYS, the guy on skype basically was asking me to change the email to a temporary email that they will create. Doesn't that sound like a scam? So i thought its a 100% scam and said no. The guy says I will suspend and disable your account when "my boss comes online". So after a day later, my ip is banned and my account is suspended. Like wtf? Did he somehow manage to screw with my account or is this real btc-e support im getting? Someone please help, I just want my money.
