701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: May 01, 2020, 06:09:22 PM
It was their bad decision to do IEO on oceanex. But That doesn't mean the end of the project. They may start a new round on other good exchange.

This is true, as long as they are trying they can make something in the future. They can start new round,
they can learn from mistakes and do it better next time. But for that the team needs to stay active and keep
trying to achieve something great!
To be honest I never heard about oceanex exchange. The project managers should try to avoid some exchanges
and to try their best to make contacts with the best one, if they can't than they should wait and try again with
developed project, running to any exchange can hurt projects in the long-term.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: May 01, 2020, 02:52:39 PM
Myetherwallet will be the best option, you can easily create a wallet and own its private key. And you will have complete control of your property without fear. I have used Myetherwallet since the beginning and until now I have not had any problems with it

I started with Myetherewallet, but later I moved to Metamask. MetaMask is much easier to use, and some
apps demands MetaMask if you wish to use them.
I seen Myetherwallet update, it was confusing for me first 5 minutes to catch where is what. I didn't use it
for months.
Both are safe and trusted wallets, I use both for more then a year and never had any issues with any of these
two wallets.
703  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH after halving? on: May 01, 2020, 11:53:55 AM
Before 2016 halving, the price went up a total of 50% and this time, when btc is getting closed to the halving, we saw this sudden price pump. During 2016, there was a little uncertainty from China, while we have now the pandemic. What do you think? Will we see 10000 above within this week and new ATH soon?
The sudden pump that happened gave investors the impression of bull run though its too early to assume it.  We are now in the positive side maybe because of the halving thats why investors are accumulating. Well anything can happen for the price so reaching $10k is possible but better to not have high hopes because everything is uncertain here.

Lienfave I agree with you about not having high hopes, it's better to be reasonable, in that case we can't
end up disappointed. I believe in new ATH, but somehow I don't feel it will happen this year, we have to wait
longer, to be more patient.
Little mouse 2016 was 4 years ago, now we are in 2020. Many things are different, and I think we can't expect
totally same thing to happen again.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade what you can't risk loosing on: May 01, 2020, 05:40:51 AM
before you start in trading make sure you have full knowledge in this and dont put huge money in the first trading.. some newbie trader put there huge money first then practice  assuming a huge profit immediately..

This is a good advice Xenxen, but people don't like to read and learn and spend time doing that,
people want to make profit right away. I think the same people are not aware of the risk factor,
they think the only thing they need to do is to register, deposit money and every trade they make
will be profitable! But we know that it's not easy as it sounds!
It's impossible to make some statistic about it, but I believe that 90% of new traders lose money
in first couple months, before they actually learn something and start making profit!
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: May 01, 2020, 04:40:07 AM
An airdrop, in the cryptocurrency business, is a marketing stunt that involves sending free coins or tokens to wallet addresses in order to promote awareness of a new virtual currency. Small amounts of the new virtual currency are sent to wallets for free or in return for a small service such as retweeting a post sent by the company issuing the currency.

though one cannot say is waste of time because if its is a good project one is good. one thing its full of risk because crypto airdrops can be pump-and-dump schemes. That is, owners of the cryptocurrency could be artificially inflating its value in order to make a quick profit.

so as a waste of time inconclusive

Odebowa thanks for short explanation about airdrops. I agree with you that airdrops are a marketing stunt, and
like all stunts some are good and some are not. For sure many airdrops can be a waste of time, bad and scam
projects also use this tactic to draw in more people. Like always I think people should do a quick research before
they hurry to claim free coins, some of them are worthless without possibility to rise in the future.
706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $8000 on: April 30, 2020, 09:02:34 PM
It is really suprising that bitcoin have reach it's price to $8,000-$9,000 earlier because it is really unexpected, that is why i am really decided to hold and wait for bitcoin's price to increase more until it reaches to $20,000 again, and to maintain my long term investment. I also think a lot of people could be selling their bitcoin's earlier because of it's sudden movement.

For some people $8k is a surprise, for me even $20k will not be surprise, I know that Bitcoin can do it, and
Bitcoin will do it one day! For me it's just a question of time!
Kong Hey Pakboy a lot of people is trading, trying to make some profit. I think hard truth is that many people
losing, and just few make money. I don't want to get in that circle, I invest and hold for long-term. I really hope
that one day I will not have to sell, I will use my coins and they will worth a lot.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coin to watch out for this year 2020. on: April 30, 2020, 06:23:25 PM
Probably each of us has a list of coins for watching this year. Starting from the strongest ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin, moving to
some younger ones like BNB, Link, Nano, Tezos, Stellar, and probably there are some new ones that are trying to make a way for them!
What to say, my portfolio grows every year, I'm trying to add more of what I have, and from time to time some new and promising coins appears
and I get interested and buy some, just in case!
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: April 30, 2020, 05:03:48 PM
I think there was a small 'bull run' because we are close to bitcoin halving and more and more people join again in crypto world . I would recommend you guys to hold your crypto and wait for another big pump

We can say it like that, small bull run, the price of Bitcoin is now close to $9k, two weeks ago we had price
under $7k. Many other alt-coins followed this Bitcoin rise, and crypto-market looks beautiful with dominant green!
Bull run can end with bull trap, so after this rise we can see another drop! Bitcoin halving is coming closer, we
are all excited about that, and all that can lead people into buying and price can surprise and drop before we see
some significant bull run again!
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 29, 2020, 05:56:50 PM
Most of us have more free time, it's individual who have money to spare for gambling, I have. I have
good salary, I earn something here, I can allow myself to spend some money on gambling.
For me this period is good for me, I spend more time online, I earn a bit more and I gamble more. Before
I had to work a lot, now I have many free nights when I enjoy gambling.\
When this pandemic ends I will probably work a lot like I did before, therefore I will spend less time online
and I will gamble less.
In my case there's always a desire, but I don't have enough free time to do everything I want, my gambling
will probably suffer when this period ends.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: April 29, 2020, 11:35:09 AM
There is a huge number of projects that change the coin name and they allow you to change that currency shortly afterward with the swap. But there are many people like myself and you who do not have to swap them at certain times and have their coins is valueless. That's why the project owners are benefited. So be careful everyone before time goes .

As I know, but you should do check it, swap is when the project creates their own chain and they move from
some platform to their own chain. That happened to me as well, with Tron. It was ERC token at first, but when
they made their own chain all Tron ERC tokens should be swapped for Tron coins.
If you made this mistake it's on you. They announce swap months before it happens. You should follow news
from projects you invested in.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: April 29, 2020, 10:27:05 AM
Coronavirus if not happened maybe the bull run have high chance to happen because if the people have business and work they can be able to invest some of their salary to the cryptocurrency that can push the crypto to rise most of the coin.

But maybe that is coincidence because we know price of the bitcoin and altcoins are natural decreasing but still remain if it's the cause or not they have possibility.

I don't think that Corona pandemic has anything with bull run of crypto-currencies. Global economy and stock-
markets are dropping, but crypto-currencies hold strong I believe. And I think when this ends we will see a bull
run. End of pandemic, Bitcoin halving, all that will affect the prices to grow a lot in next year or more. I don't expect
nothing to happen over night, but this two will affect prices in the long-term.
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: April 29, 2020, 07:03:17 AM
Today BNB is really much better known than HT. Binance has the largest volumes, so the prospects for BNB are huge. If nothing changes ( in crypto we already remember Poloniex, Bittrex Wink), HT will take second place.

This is true, BNB is much better known, after all BNB is much more present in everyday marketing, annoucements,
and all other things they do to attract more people and to entertain the ones who are in already.
Huobi is good, but they will need to work much more if they wish to get close to Binance in every way. For now and
in near future I will always put BNB before Huobi, and I believe many others feel this way.
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 29, 2020, 04:48:58 AM
That is why if you lose 5 streak then luck is not with you and stop for a while if you will continue or go home and back again the next day.

Carlisle1 I start with minimal bets, like from 1 sat to 10 sat. Losing 5 bets is just 5-50 sat's. I like to play crash game, and I like to bet
on odds higher than 3. After losing 5 times, I will rise my bet, or option two I will rise odds, I will bet couple times with 100-500 sat's or
I will try to hit over 10 odd. It's a short explanation how I do it. I can't lose a lot because I limit myself when I deposit, losing entire
deposit can't hurt me, but with my strategy I always manage to recover and sometimes I even make profit.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: April 28, 2020, 10:08:58 AM
a project is not going to develop rapidly in a short time, but I think we can see its development from month to month. in addition, projects that have the potential to have a lot of evidence about it, and each year always have good achievements. Well, people depend on projects like that.

I think this can be applied on every project, crypto-project or any other project! Everything takes time, to grow,
to get developed, to gain popularity. Every community needs time to stand on it's feet, projects has to be updated
constantly to remain on top.
Nothing comes over night, a lot of work and sacrifice is needed to rise something from bottom. People in crypto-
currencies abandon projects too fast, majority runs for profit and forget that for big profit we all need to be patient,
to promote projects how we can, to spread the word and to monitor the team behind, to give them a reason to work
harder for all of us.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 28, 2020, 07:31:14 AM
The decision to increase the number of bets after losing is one of the strategies and efforts to win the bet and I think that is the biggest obsession for gamblers. Strategies like this might be useful if we are lucky men. Gambling always involves luck, even though there are many strategies we can apply.

Martingale is a strategy of doubling bets in hopes of winning and covering previous losses and if this strategy doesnt work properly then I think we will spend more money. The point is that no strategy works perfectly in gambling, although we can win a few bets with it, it does not mean that the strategy will function well on other occasions.

I have tried this strategy in a dice game, but if we cannot win on 5 occasions then try to stop for a moment and come back tomorrow. Tongue

Martingale is a strategy of doubling every next bet after you lose, no matter how many times you lose. If losing
streak is too long you will lose entire balance. There are other strategies but this is the most interesting one. I don't
play classic martingale, I like to bet same bets more than once, no matter did I lose or win, only after 5 loses I start
raising my bets or my odds, to try to recover what I lost and eventually to make some profit. Without raising bets or
odds there's no way to recover after losing, or to make profit, in gambling you need to raise bets and odds, the point
is to have a luck and hit the right moment for that!
716  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 28, 2020, 04:53:09 AM
Every bad time comes to an end. This one will also follow the same route. The bad thing is that the world economy has and will be suffering for the rest of this year to come. I dont think bitcoin will be doing anything good this year and we can expect it to remain bearish for longer period of time.

The third world countries like always will have a devastating effect on their economy and they will take a lot of time to cope up with the situation. The important thing in such times to to learn how to keep a sane mind and not go off the track or take the law in your own hands.
Supposedly this will happen. But nowadays, it looks like bitcoin breaking out its resistance. And having a good trend line since last day. I agree with you that the economy of third world countries may devastate after this virus issue and it takes time before it continue again. But I think trading and investment will be good because buying the lows is the best time to make profits.

I think here is much more at stake than Bitcoin and crypto-market. World economy is barely holding,
and more important new rules and regulations waits for us. This pandemic is changing the world and
peoples minds, for good or bad future will show.
Crypto-market will gain popularity, there are many advantages that crypto-currencies offer. This virus
outbreak shows how weak economy we have and many will see crypto-currencies as safe heaven and possible
solution for many problems we currently have.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: April 28, 2020, 03:49:18 AM
Keep quiet, hold what you have, add more if possible! Is how you survive bad times and have a chance
to make a huge profit when the bad times come to an end. Selling in panic, trying to manipulate with
the market to make quick profit, all that can lead you to make a mistake and you are risking to lose what
you have. I don't do that, I keep tight and it's what I think it's the best we can do at the moment. Adding
more in dips is a good option if you have money to spare!
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most gamblers can never hold onto big bag? on: April 27, 2020, 08:36:46 PM
To be honest, this story does not seem real to me. To rise to such a significant amount from a small rate twice ... this rarely happens.
But if this is true, then the explanation is simple: this is a standard event with easy money. Easy come, easy go. Apparently he did not take this win seriously, so he easily lost it.

This story is on the border between reality and fiction, I agree with you about that KTCChampions. It's not
impossible for some people to make a lot of money with gambling, and in wish to make more, like they have
a lucky row they risk more and more until they lose everything. I think that happened to everyone who gamble,
to win something and lose everything after some time.
I have similar stories from my early days of gambling, with not with so big amounts. This story is extraordinary
because a lot of money is involved, but situation as it is happens to every gambler once in a while.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bottom is yet to come??? on: April 27, 2020, 07:45:05 PM
I don't understand what you are talking about and I believe you know how the price pump and dump, do you think the price will go down now I mean before halving??

No way the price will go up from now onwards and we are already experiencing it, people just create FUDs to panic sell. It has been already scheduled and hopefully there will not be any impact happening before halving.
A dump can happen anytime, all we can do is prepare it,
whether it's PUMP and DUMP if you already have a good strategy then you will be safe

Ningrum I agree with you, a dump can really happen anytime, but in the same time we can see the incredible
pump?! It's the part of the volatility, we can't expect from crypto-currencies to be stable in this period of
developing, when things are uncertain, when new projects arrives, competition is stronger than ever before!
Every drop is a good chance for buying more. In last two years if you bought every dip and sell every top you
would be rich person. Volatility is here to stay, long-term possibilities are endless and I count we are going to
the moon in next few years!
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: April 27, 2020, 06:35:06 PM
I won't be taking those advice. When I enter a real casino, I do it for fun. I don't expect to walk out with the money I take. And I drink and flirt the way I want. I am not a chronic drinker or a sexual predator. I know my limits and I act accordingly. I'm not a professional gambler or making my living with gambling and the one that would have much better rules to go with.

You are right Tipstar, I like to have fun and have couple drinks myself! It's OK I think, I like to relax and
couple drinks don't change much. With nice ladies around it's normal to flirt, with hostesses, they are always
nice with beautiful smiles!
Too many drinks will make anyone drunk! Gambling like that is not a smart decision someone can make,
when you are too drunk you can control your actions, and gambling is all about money. I wouldn't suggest
someone do that. But couple drink just to make situation more relaxed is always OK, in almost every situation.
