7022  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] Mintspare (MS) Bitcoin Electronic Trade-in Service - Official Thread on: May 09, 2014, 02:48:59 PM
We have been working with Mintspare closely during the past few months and they have a bright future ahead of them. They should and will start to post and respond to requests on this forum.

We do hold the Bitcoins raised during their offering in escrow and only distribute those funds as needed.

...We are in constant contact with them to make sure the company is active and making progress.

Hi Havelock.  Could you update teh shareholders on MS' progress?  Are you still in contact with Mr. MintSpare?

*MS is currently trading @ 1/10th of the issue price.  Isn't it time to pull the plug, or at least add that "Q" suffix?

^Vince is one of Active Mining's biggest shills.  He constantly brags about using his real name on this forum, but he wishes to keep his mining address private?
Why?  I could screencap anyone's graph.

7027  Economy / Securities / Re: HAVELOCK - Switching to bits? on: May 08, 2014, 02:29:31 PM
@havelock:

If people made money on your exchange, switching to bits would be awesome.  Testimonials like "I made millions on Havelock!1!!" <== pretty awesome PR Smiley

Of course, people come to you to lose money, so think "I lost millions on Havelock.  Again." <== not good PR Sad

Hope this helps.

I understand you boys sitting there trying to debunk the possibility of what I am trying to achieve. I'd be pissed to if I was paying $250 a month for terrible internet. The distribution network I plan to set up is my own...

I'm certain many camwhores, much like yourself, dreamed of their very own website/"distribution network."  But being somewhat more inciteful than yourself, they understood that willingness and ability to preform on cam is not a sufficient skill set for starting a business.
That's why trained bears don't own and run their own circuses.

Let me lay some science on you, kspencer93 and mikemikemike:

1. Lambchop is a sock, because fact.
2. NotLambchop is the opposite of Lambchop, so not a sock.  Because logic.
2. I'm NotLambchop.
∴  I'm not a sock.

... Saying your not going to get an ROI is the same as saying no miners will get an ROI. And if that was the case, all the networks and miners would cease to exist and the difficulty would shoot down towards zero

No.  The only thing that needs to happen for mining to continue is miners *believing* they would ROI.  Most miners lose money, yet the hashrate is climbing just fine.

...History tells Holland always leads the way in Finance  Wink.

UR the tulip bulb guys, right?

Well maybe a little bit...
But credit where it's due. The Dutch founded exchange trading as we know it.

They traded the first derivatives too if I'm not mistaken?

I think you're right. So many good reasons to love the Dutch.

Is there a Dutch equivalent to "going Dutch"?  And I wasn't being dismissive -- if the Dutch can conceive of tulip bulbs as a financial instrument, Bitcoin shouldn't pose any problems.
