Atletico Madrid's form decreased too much this season by the way. They were the last champions but in this season they started to be very inconsistent. But this wasn't a satisfying performance for a champion team obviously. I even started to think that Atletico Madrid need to make some substantial changes. Simeone's system is decent but not good enough to maintain successful years.
Simeone must have stayed with them for over a decade now, isn't it nice they part ways with him already ? They flopped badly the last campaign, I hope he sets thing's right or get to be shown the exit, giving too much control to managers really ain't a good idea for me. But if he turns tuings around and get them results he might surely continue as head Coach. Simeone has become an inseparable part of Atletico Madrid, the club's top brass trust in Simeone is very high, Atletico management looks still comfortable with Simeone performance. Simeone contribution made Atletico officials very satisfied, the only reason Siemone was still retained as Atletico coach was because club officials still believed Simeone could still give Atletico trophies. I still can't believe that Zidane has 3 to be fair  . Ancelotti is great, but if Zidane kept going, he would have maybe another title, or maybe he wouldn't, he could have moved to another team and maybe won one. Now that PSG kept Mbappe, I really really really want to see Zidane manages PSG, and do it for many years. I know for sure that they would be good enough to listen to Zidane, someone who won it 3 times the moment he started managing a team, and became one of the best ever. By comparison SIR! alexferguson has only 2, that's how great Zidane is. Ancelotti is of course a marvelous manager, but he has been managing for so many years, I am sure that that record will be broken in the next 10 years or so. I'm also thinking the same that Lewandowski wouldn't have too big problems on adapting to the La Liga. In some way I think that the La Liga would fit Lewandowski nicely like the Bundesliga. And in fact, I was seeing Real Madrid as the best team for him in this league. Because Real Madrid's playing style and tempo is not too different than Bayern Munich's. I'm not sure about Barcelona on the other hand. Aubameyang adapted to the team very quickly though so maybe Lewandowski would experience the same thing too.

I must admit also that I was surprised with seeing none of English teams winning the Champions League title this season. Manchester City gave up even earlier but it was still a tough fight between them and Real Madrid. Liverpool were in the finale and fought hard for the title too but Real Madrid still benefited from their experience and won the title. It is still a proof for the thing that the Premier League is better than nearly all of the remaining leagues though. It just shares this honour with the La Liga.
The premiere league is no doubt the best league right now but still i don't think we could compare who is the best league just by seeing the teams performing in the champions league true real madrid is good in a nockout competition but in my opinion if they were to play in the premier league they wouldn't be able to win, so many good teams in the premiere league they could lose points easily i think both man city and liverpool deserve to win the champions league this season. The reason players want to play in the Champions League is because the Champions League is the top tournament that all players want, so the Champions League remains the benchmark for how well a team can stay in the Champions League. So, even though the Premier League has a more difficult competition but still, their success will be greatly appreciated when they manage to become title winners. But for next season I'm personally quite sure about Pep Guardiola who has strong ambitions to win the CL title, looks like he will succeed next season. |

Leipzig are still a good team, I agree. Maybe they had a poorer season compared to the previous one but they still made a great comeback later on. RB Leipzig is one of the competitive team in the Bundesliga. The team have so many key players and they have also lose most of them to different teams. They need to get back on their heels and start winning games. Leipzig aren't a weak team in the Bundesliga, they are rated among teams which are tough to beat. But, i wasn't happy with the performance they put up in the Europa League after losing to advance to the Champions League round 16. Honestly speaking, they had what it takes to win against Rangers. Although, Rangers are also a tough team, but I think Leipzig could have won them. It quite unfortunately that they got kicked out by Rangers. However, they were lucky enough to secure a space in next season's Champions League. Let's see how well they probably plays next season. @blackened515 Leipzig should be challenging for the title next year, because the potential is definitely there but they’ll need some reinforcements in the transfer window. Furthermore the Europa game was difficult and I think they underestimated Rangers, but I’m sure that they would have learnt their lesson and they’ll bounce back stronger once the new season begins. Anyway, having Leipzig able to end the season in that place is basically good enough, considering they are also being coached by a new coach. Finally the Champions league final is tonight, was waiting for this match for weeks now. The Europa League semi and quarter finals got me excited again for European football. Even though I lost some money with my last few bets I want to recover my losses tonight. Both Real Madrid and Liverpool are very strong teams, I expect to see many goals and this will likely go into over time.
I am wondering how many people here on the forum are getting on Real Madrid. Real has a strong history in the Champions league, but this year Liverpool seems like a little stronger to me. Also Klopp seems like a better coach to me than Ancelotti. I will bet on Liverpool to win, maybe also a bet to see more than 4 goals could be profitable.
If I consider the process until this final, even though Klopp looks better but Ancelotti and Real Madrid have a high level of luck. Milan absolutely deserved to win the Serie A championship this season. Inter and them had a fascinating season but Milan deserved it more I believe.
