7061  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: April 21, 2019, 09:56:05 AM
Has anyone of you here have tried to exchange the rewards points? Like electronics, harware wallets, or GC's? It really aint easy to reach those points before you can exchange it to any of the item rewards. Im just a bit curious lol.

My maximum Reward Point is about 100k and I exchange it into satoshi and some bonus .
For me to reach electronics prize is almost impossible  Grin, but look at those whale who compete in wager competition. I think its easy for them to reach million rewards points

"Almost impossible" thats the word Ive been looking for lol. Of course for us who does only Bitcoin faucet, but not for for those luxurious people who participated in wagering contest, they care less about those point rewards anyway, they're aiming for a bigger reward.

Everytime I played Hi-Lo game, I always end up lossing all my Bitcoin balance lol.

Well, there are people out there with a huge referral network and those people get loads of reward points every single day, so they will quickly acquire the reward points needed to get those rewards. The individual with flat pockets and no referrals will struggle for years, with almost no possibility to get hose rewards.

So, if you worked hard to get those "active" referrals, then you will reap the rewards. If you sit on your ass and leech on the faucet rewards every hour, then you will never see those rewards.  Wink

Ps : 11 days to Lambo event!
7062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future HODL? on: April 21, 2019, 09:46:03 AM
Exchanges will not de-list coins that are popular, because they are making large amounts of money from coins with high trade volumes. This is what is going to force them to continue supporting Bitcoin.  Wink

As for the BankCoins….. they will be launched and people will quickly see the danger in investing in coins that are centralized <We will make sure to educate them on the dangers of investing in centralized coins>  Tongue

The future is Bitcoin and no Bank can take FREEDOM away from anyone, whilst Bitcoin is still around.  Wink
7063  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your stupidity is opportunity for scammers! on: April 20, 2019, 08:38:33 PM
Most people who fall for these scams are not just stupid, they are greedy too. A Ponzi scheme targets people who wants higher than average interest on their money and most of the times these interest rates are MUCH higher than what they would get from any other type of investment. They get baited by the regular payments and they re-invest some of the interest they get and gets pulled in deeper into the scam.

If they were not greedy, they would have taken the proceeds regularly and reduce their own capital investment until they break even or until the make a good profit. <not re-invest and lose everything when the whole thing collapse>  Roll Eyes
7064  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-18]North Korea Plans on Using Bitcoin to Bypass Sanctions on: April 20, 2019, 08:29:50 AM
The West should rather focus on healing the political problems between these nations, than implementing sanctions and making the divide bigger than it is. North Korea would not have to resort to tactics like this, if they were not forced into situations like this. Yes, sometimes negotiations fail and then you have to resort to tactics like this, but negotiations solve more problems than sanctions.

What would they have used before Bitcoin was on the scene? <Dealing with countries that are not part of these sanctions, so they just strengthen bonds between enemies.>  Shocked
7065  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 20, 2019, 08:15:48 AM
People will invest in dog shit, if there are some reason why dog shit's price would skyrocket in the future.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm confident most people who piled in only had one thing on their mind and it was dollars, not decentralisation. Since the creators of almost all coins were only doing it for dollars too then there's a certain collective honesty there, albeit an unspoken one.

Well, if you decide to invest in dog shit, then you should not complain when it smells. These investors should do the basic research into the commodities or technologies that they invest in, so that they are familiar with the pros and cons of investing in these types of investments. We know a bit more about the technology, so when FUD is spread in the media, we can identify it and ignore it.

These clueless investors are running for the hills, with the slightest bullshit that are plastered on social media. <Newbies panic and old dogs stand their ground.>  Wink
7066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Track and Trace on: April 20, 2019, 08:09:51 AM
These companies should rather channel their resources into "improving" software that are used with these centralized exchanges. The hacks are exploiting the vulnerabilities in the software that are used at these exchanges or wallet providers.

Just hire some white hat hackers and let them find the "backdoors" and exploits in these exchanges and then close up these holes, then we will have less problems with hacks. <Even better yet, let them use OpenSource code, so that the Bitcoin community can help to identify these exploits.  Wink
7067  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: April 20, 2019, 08:04:59 AM
Will we only have one Grand prize <Lambo> or will we have some smaller "cash" prizes too? It feels a bit unfair if everyone buys tickets and you can only win one big prize? We frequently have lucky draws and most of the feedback that we received was that people wants 2cnd and 3rd prizes too, to increase their odds to win something.

Our government Lottery also works like this, you have 6 chances to win 1 big prize and then 5 other opportunities to win smaller prizes.   Grin  Can you add some smaller prizes too?
7068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions aren't reversible... I'm confuse on: April 20, 2019, 07:54:41 AM
Reversible transactions is very similar to Chargeback transactions with credit cards, where you can "cancel" the transaction after it was done. The reason why you can do this with credit card transactions are because the actual "money" is just a entry on the Banks internal ledger system, so they can just "edit" the transaction entry to cancel it.

This cannot be done with Bitcoin transactions, because it is written to a on-chain decentralized ledger, called the Blockchain. It was developed specifically like this, because "chargebacks" cause a lot of troubles and you do not want to change any entries to the Blockchain, once it was done.
7069  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: April 20, 2019, 07:47:51 AM
I doubt if Amazon would dip their payment feet into Bitcoin soon, because of two reasons. 1. They have a strong partnership with PayPal and Credit card companies and they will not jeopardize that relationship. 2. Bitcoin are not acknowledged as a "currency", but rather as a commodity, so the legal issues and accounting problems will be significant, if they experiment with payment options that are not defined as a currency.

We might see more merchants accepting Bitcoin as a payment option, as soon as regulators sort out the regulation regarding Crypto currencies and the definition of currencies.  Wink
7070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bad Faith in the Gambling Ecosystem on: April 19, 2019, 12:32:38 PM
I guess that's just a part of the competition. That's the reason why gambling sites have to develop their sites continuously. There will always be negative reviews but only the site alone could prove if it's not true or if they're really honest and giving good services to their users.

It is rumoured that most of these review sites are owned by online casinos and they pay people to give good reviews of their sites. You have to remember that these sites are not regulated like most of the brick n mortar casinos, so it is bit of a wild west out there now. <everthing goes>

Bitcoin's annoymity are helping these sites to hide most of these activities, so you should not even bother to take reviews on these sites seriously. I would rather suggest that you signup for these casinos and test them for yourself.  Tongue
7071  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: April 19, 2019, 12:16:05 PM
Only 14 days to go.....

12 Days to go people! - I cannot wait to see how this is going to work. The recent betting games came as a big surprise, but we knew about this way in advance, so the anticipation for this is growing day by day now.

How long will this run, until we know who won those bitcoins or the Lambo? Hope it is not as long as some of these new betting games. We live in a world, where people are getting acustomed to immediate gratification.  Tongue

Will you have two cars or two seperate cash prizes if the tickets sales goes to $400 000+?
7072  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 19, 2019, 11:26:30 AM
People will invest in dog shit, if there are some reason why dog shit's price would skyrocket in the future. The sudden spike in the Bitcoin price in 2017 has drawn a lot of speculators into this technology and most of them do not even know how to use bitcoins. A lot of them have never even opened a wallet or spend any of their coins at a merchant. <Lots of them are invested in Bitcoin via some third party service>

So greed will drive any speculator to invest in anything, even if they do not have a clue what it is.  Tongue  <They just follow the FUD and HYPE>  Tongue
7073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 19, 2019, 11:16:33 AM
The main thing that caused all of this was the ATH of $18 000+ in 2017. People quickly realized that Bitcoin's price can bounce back to that ATH and now everyone is just hoarding their coins. The fun services and merchants and games stopped operating, because people has stopped spending coins.  Sad

Most of the fun things that are still around is gambling based and people are doing this because there is a potential for big profits, if you hit the jackpot at these sites.  Roll Eyes

You will see how these sites pop up like mushrooms when the price goes back to $18 000+ again.  Wink
7074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Crime in cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2019, 11:10:01 AM
The biggest crime in Crypto currencies are the fact that private centralized institutions hijacked the whole experiment and then caused all these problems. Satoshi did not want people to do P2P transactions via 3rd part centralized services, he wanted people to trade 1 on 1.

These centralized services used exploitable code and hackers and thieves quickly realized this and they targeted these vulnerabilities. So Bitcoin was not responsible for these hacks, but rather 3rd party <centralized> services with weak software.  Angry
7075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about control versus freedom in Bitcoin? on: April 19, 2019, 11:05:08 AM
Wow OP, that was a real mouth full and a can of worms kinda post.  Wink

I think the freedom from the majority consensus is already a huge step in the right direction, because we will be seeing the competition crushing that freedom with centralized control in the upcoming BankCoins and even some of the GovCoins. People will only appreciate the consensus based "freedom" of Bitcoin, when they see what Banks and governments will be doing with their coins in the future. <The public will have no influence in the decision making for those coins.>

If some developer or node does not agree with changes, then they are welcome to create their own Alt coin and if they get enough support, then they can force a hard fork, so there is nothing wrong with that idea in my opinion.  Wink
BankCoins and GovCoins are more likely to be stablecoins so they will be pretty diffrernt comparing them to other currencires. There will be some purpose to buy them that will be related to issuer's service and won't be giving you a profit for HODLing them.
Also public should have an influence. I'm sure that banks won't sustain their coins if they won't be getting any profit.

Banks are not into Crypto currencies for pure profit, they want to use Crypto currencies because it gives them more control and also more opportunity to track the money flow. <Governments wants more surveillance opportunities on people's finances, so they encourage transparent Crypto currencies, where owners are identified and the Banks are utilized to implement this.

So, our financial freedom with Bank coins will not exist, once they developed their own technologies. <Governments will also find a way to force these coins onto citizens in the future> ….So say goodbye to fiat <cash>  Roll Eyes
7076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Life Cycle of a Transaction - Andreas A. on: April 19, 2019, 10:53:06 AM
Andreas Antonopoulos is one of the best public speakers I have encountered in my life. He can take the most boring topic and make it so interesting that you would sit through a 2 hour seminar, listening to him without going to sleep.  Grin

Many Bitcoin newbies have cut their teeth on his educational videos and that includes myself, because he can dissect the most complicated aspect of Bitcoin and then explain it in the most simple way.  Wink

This is why there was a donation explosion when he needed financial assistance.  Wink
7077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John "fucking" McAfee: I will reveal Satoshi on: April 19, 2019, 10:45:12 AM
McAfee is a real attention whore, he likes to pull ridiculous stunts to get attention and that keeps him relevant. He will also do anything for money, even shilling for Alt coins that has no chance to succeed. <Pay him and he will tweet anything you want him to say>  Roll Eyes

His "Dick eating" stunt has lingered in the media for many months and nothing happened, so that should show you how credible his announcements and comments are.  Roll Eyes  - Just ignore the guy, because it is worthless energy wasted on something that will not happen.  Roll Eyes
7078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you use "report" button during posting ? on: April 18, 2019, 08:37:38 PM
The problem with mass reporting comes in with the spamming of reports to the moderators. I use the options very selectively, not to waste the moderators time with useless reporting. I will report off-topic posts that are done by people to spam their signature, because it makes the whole forum experience bad for everyone if they just post non-constructive drivel in people's threads.  Tongue

I also report plagiarism after I warned the OP of that thread to quote the source and he/she ignores my warning. It makes moderating much easier, but it can complicate moderation, if people abuse this feature.  Angry
7079  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 18, 2019, 08:29:51 PM
One of the biggest triggers for Bitcoin adoption is the failure of old traditional payment methods like Fiat / PayPal etc. We saw what happened in Zimbabwe and some other 3rd world countries, when their fiat currencies failed, they all started to use other currencies. <Rand / Dollar etc.>

Well, if more fiat currencies start to fail all over the world, real Bitcoin adoption will be triggered and you will see a growth in Bitcoin adoption, the like we have never seen before.  Wink <Examples - Greece & Venezuela>  Wink

Just imagine what will happen when one of the 1st world currencies fails.  Shocked
7080  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-18] World’s Largest Bitcoin Exchange Wants to Help Rebuild Notre Dame on: April 18, 2019, 08:21:56 PM
Every company in the world wants to be credited in helping to restore one of the most iconic buildings in the world. This is a huge publicity stunt for most of them and they could care less that it is one of the oldest buildings in the world.  Roll Eyes

There was a huge cyclone over Africa a week ago and many people lost their lives and 1000's lost everything and you not seeing these companies coming out in full force to help these people.  Roll Eyes

What does that say about us as human beings.  Roll Eyes
