7081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why not be rich? Is it impossible for you? on: October 14, 2018, 06:43:13 PM
in fact, today almost every cryptocurrency user is trying to use the opportunity to buy cryptocurrency at a cheap price. Of course, no one wants to sell cheap coins, but nevertheless there are certain difficulties in life that force them to do so.
They are forced to do it if they have no more choice but to sell it at loss just to get rid of that coin and open another opportunity to buy new coin that they can potentially recover their losses.

I wouldn't buy those coins that are promising that each of their investors would become rich after buying it.

That's an obvious marketing strategy and I'm not surprise that this is still effective.
Everyone can say anything they want, there is always the hype and the FUD In the market, but the decision always comes to us.
If we continue to educate ourselves, we can find ways to look for angle or factors that would give a signal to know the potential of the coin.
We all want to be rich but it's important for us to be realistic all the time.
You can educate yourself when you are gaining experience and that's how you learn new things in this market. And you already gain a defense mechanism when you go through such conditions of the market that isn't favorable on your part.

Everyone's goal here is to become rich and have a free way of living through having a financial freedom. Its not impossible for everyone that can ride the wave of the market and already know what to do in different situations.

In addition to 2FA security with email, we should also regularly change email passwords and set a long password and have hard to remember characters. The ability to remember passwords is easily compromised.
Yes thanks for adding that, setting your passwords and changing it regularly like weekly or monthly should be a practice and you can also check if your email was leaked through https://haveibeenpwned.com/

I used to remember my passwords but now that I grown up and is being aware of the life through internet, we should be aware and careful with every information and emails that we have. I also advise remain from using browsers "remember username/password" feature.
7084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Ukranian? on: October 13, 2018, 10:08:04 AM
I am sure that he is Ukrainian. it is unlikely that such an intelligent person could live in this country in terms of economics in order to build such
Do you have that any strong proof to support that Satoshi is a Ukranian? there's no way that you can be sure of it unless you are just saying that base on your point of view. No doubt that each country has its own intelligence in building and innovating technologies but we don't have enough proof about Satoshi being a Ukranian.

I highly doubt that Nick Szabo is Ukranian Smiley
We aren't even sure if Satoshi is Nick Szabo.
7085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 13, 2018, 07:16:08 AM
I beg to disagree with this thread's title. There does not seem to be any conclusive evidence that younger people take up the gabling addiction more than they did in the past. No evidence whatsoever.
The thread of the title just shared the title of the article that was given to us. They've done research with it so its just up to you if you are going to believe it or not.

I don't agree. I always see more elderly. people in casinos.
Elderly that has already their retirement and they have been enjoying their lives through gambling. I have seen those type of people too but the young ones doesn't understand that they shouldn't become addicted to gambling. And they don't have the capacity to support their addictions unlike the elderly.
7086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose with me on: October 12, 2018, 12:09:47 PM
You should listen to the majority
He should listen to himself and just take those suggestions by majority as his option. Those coins that has been mentioned by OP isn't really as good as others that are making its progress and noise in the market.

I don't want to discourage OP from investing with altcoins but you should really do your own research if you don't know what to choose. You will be suggested by shills out there that want you to buy the coins that they are holding.
7087  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: %100 investment on: October 12, 2018, 11:01:43 AM
You are prone to fall to a scam investment if you are too intensive with your returns for a very short time. Why not just buy bitcoin and hold it until it double its price as suggested by mjglqw? while you invested to it, offer some other things that you can earn money.

Increase your source of income if you are in dire need of money. I have one other option on my mind and that is lending your money to the trusted people here in the forum with collateral but as usual its risky.
7088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Ukranian? on: October 12, 2018, 09:58:08 AM
My hunch is that it was Nick and Hal that created bitcoin - they are Satoshi Nakamoto.
That's also what I suspect but I guess this is going to be one of the greatest mystery that will never be solved.
i don't think Hal is the creator of bitcoin although it has been debated a lot. based on his comments and the contributions he was mostly a contributor and someone who was very interested in bitcoin who found out about it like the rest of us.
He is one of the most suspected person not only because of his interest to bitcoin but the first ever transaction was ever done through him and satoshi which has been said by Habbear.

Kudos to him and I've always admired him after knowing his contributions and views to bitcoin. Whoever claims that he is satoshi right now, no one would ever believe them anymore.
7089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Ukranian? on: October 12, 2018, 09:23:26 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto can your be neighbor, my neighbor and any native that is just sitting out there laughing speculations on who really he/they is/are. And thinking if he's a Ukranian, who knows? if he/she is just giving confusion for having a japanese pseudonym.

My hunch is that it was Nick and Hal that created bitcoin - they are Satoshi Nakamoto.
That's also what I suspect but I guess this is going to be one of the greatest mystery that will never be solved.
7090  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been hacked on a crypto trading platform? (share your experience) on: October 12, 2018, 08:45:38 AM
I ever just once my account be hack . Someone sell some token but just small btc he get it
My mistake not used 2fa. It is happen  3 years ago
Thanks for sharing! This is why in every trading platform that we use it has been advisable to use 2FA all of the time. I was also advised before of activating my 2FA so I can be safe from any hacks.

Just like today that there's a massive sell off for the emails and other data's somewhere on dark web, you really can't tell if your emails and accounts are safe. Having a 2FA this will give us tighter security and at least give hackers an headache to stop robbing our funds.
This kind of events are not really that rare and we have seen many examples of this in the past, that is why if the trading platform that you are using allows you to use two factor authentication then you need to use it, because your coins are too valuable and any mistake that you make could cost you your life savings and if you have a lot of money that kind of loss is going to be very traumatic and you don't want to go through that.
It's a fact that this isn't rare anymore and most of the newbies are worried with their coins and isn't aware that this is really happening. But as long as they will learn from the experience of others and by listening to the advises that were given, they will never experience this.

I found it that 2FA is one of the best 2nd layer security and as much as possible include email auth as well for dual security.
7091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: October 12, 2018, 08:09:01 AM
Sometimes it might help to save a friend's life when not having some earnings from real life as well.
I wouldn't do that, I'll encourage him to look for a job instead of convincing him to gamble. I might be part of his misfortune if I'm the one encouraged him to gamble while he doesn't have a stable source of income.

Gamblers that doesn't have stable source of income will literally depend in gambling if they see a chance that they can make it as part of their lives. But I think that's not how it should go, I just can't feel it to encourage one person to gamble if I see the possible result.

7093  Economy / Marketplace / Re: WHY INVESTORS (INVESTORS) SHOULD ATTEMPT TO ETH AT THIS TIME? on: October 11, 2018, 04:08:55 AM
Investing is very dangerous now
Yes investing has been so very dangerous even the ancient times and also with those old days where people are in a gold rush. The same situation as now people are rushing in to invest with crypto, you can't call an invested with risk-free.

If you are familiar with the famous quote from Warren Buffett, you'll determine what risks are and when people are telling words such as dangerous you should take the advantage. Somehow its really dangerous to invest if you don't know what you are investing.
7094  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit account blocked on: October 11, 2018, 03:00:02 AM
I did not know this one! I got tokens available only in yobit hence I am inclined to use it.  I think I need to do more research about this exchange and better manage my account in yobit.

Thanks for the heads up.
Before you experience inconvenience you better take care of your funds and don't hope for them to respond any of your query. Every single complain there is taking too long or worst, you'll never get any response.

Use a better exchange that you can communicate with the support regularly and the response time is very quick.
7095  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: October 10, 2018, 11:50:39 PM
My aunts and uncles are even telling me that I should get married while I'm young so I can guide my kids while I'm strong but that's not how it is. Yes, you can fulfill happiness but going through at early stage while you haven't prepared everything with married life you are giving yourself a burden which really is.

But if you are still young and you have established yourself and you have source of income one or more which is stable, I guess there's nothing wrong with it and you can survive. That will give you something to eat everyday and sustain your every needs which won't make yourself categorized as poor married people.
7096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshis' absence make bitcoin truly decentralized? on: October 10, 2018, 11:28:06 PM
Somehow that can be one of his intention why he left and never showed again but with Vitalik Buterin, I thought he's going to make it as Ethereun 2.0. Is that another coin or an upgraded Ethereum?

And with Charlie's absence after he expressed his leave to Litecoin due to conflict of interest is also the reason to make it fully decentralized.
7097  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Positive or negative promotion strengthens crypto market? on: October 10, 2018, 11:08:08 PM
Don't worry with those investors that are only here to chunk some quick profit. They are going through with some filtering as well with these corrections that are we are experiencing. Good or bad publicity still its a publicity for bitcoin.

Talking about those investors, that doesn't matter if they are only here to have quick profit or for long term commitment. You can't set people's mind to be here forever and you can't control their mindsets for having a long term goal to stay.
Yeah, everything is always going to be publicity as at the end of the day, whatever news come from the mainstream media, it just keeps pushing the market out there. One thing with people is that they will always decide which lane they want to choose irrespective of what they are listening to and practically based on their knowledge.

For what it is worth, even bad news has had some major role to play when it comes to bitcoin gaining more publicity over time. We have seen the way things have been for a while and how a lot of people have gotten to try to find out more about bitcoin even despite the negative news flying around, so at the end, it all depends on how you want to take each news as they come.
That is giving the mass an idea that these medias are following the trend of bitcoin. What's the purpose of following its up and down? they give bad or good review still they are giving exposure to bitcoin no matter how bad the review is, people who have been here knows what's the truth about bitcoin.

I know a news media that whenever they give an opinion if this is the time of bull run, opposite thing is happening. And if they are giving an opinion if its the dip, there's a small pump that will come. Maybe that's just a coincidence but I'm sure others noticed it too.
7098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happens to crypto in a crash? on: October 10, 2018, 10:46:32 PM
This actually increases the chances that a strong bull run is ahead, all this happening is not for nothing
Like those years where the market crashed for a very long time and what happened next? it went to a bull run and reached the highest that it can. This year seem to be slow but that's it, there's a reason why the market moves slowly to the point that we don't like it.

Institutional money hasn't come in so wait for them to come, the market has been squeezed and profit sharers took their money for a while. And while we're on the dip they just did what they practice and that is buying while its on the dip. Bull run seems to be slow and hasn't showed itself but it will show signs soon.
7099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: October 10, 2018, 10:25:52 PM
You cannot win in casino games because they all have -ev edge and the house had long term edge. But you can beat sports betting if you are skilled and this thread proves it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5043401.0;all
In sportsbetting that can happen, I've witnessed gamblers who have been so good in it and also in poker though its a bit different there but I saw a professional poker who really can do it. But if I'll apply his strategy to myself, well I can't do it.

The rest of the games, you know that they are there just to have fun but if you are making calculations and strategy its impossible to win against it. You might win a couple of times but with aim of beating them, its unlikely.
7100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future? on: October 09, 2018, 07:11:13 AM
What will be the reason for bitcoin to become unaccessible? because of bans by your local government and their rules and prohibition. I'm looking at the other side in the future and not thinking about this scenario.

What I'm thinking is people will be wiser enough not to panic sell and everybody will just keep their bitcoin. But accessing bitcoin is going to be easier than before because of the adoption that's widely happening now. Big corporations are joining and most governments are supporting its adoption.
