I have a lot of thoughts about defi, I'll postorayus write the main thing. Defi is growing very quickly, FOMO works, crypto exchanges list defi projects without analysis, users try to buy everything new related to defi, farming is gaining momentum .. But what happens when this shit is over? Many projects will lose popularity, but good projects will remain: Chainlink, Aave, Maker, 0x, and so on. And all projects that are connected with working solutions will grow in price. These are security, anonymity, user-friendly interfaces, and so on. If you set your investment priorities correctly, you can hit a big jackpot. What do you think about this?

Exchanges in this case still provide the necessary liquidity. It can drop to 0.0001 as long as there are buyers and sellers an exchange can make money. What are they supposed to do when you buy something thinking its legit? You're the one who has to make decisions based on the information available. Maybe they fix the contract or fork (idk if thats possible) and people will want to buy. Sucks what happened, but you cant blame an exchange doing its business which is to match buyers and sellers. There is such a thing as reputation. If you are trading a scam, your reputation suffers. If the exchange in the midst of trading closes the input and output of deposits, then this already speaks of price manipulation. I saw that on gate.io the input and output of tokens was blocked and the rates were significantly inflated relative to the market price. This is not the correct behavior for the exchange. If the exchange is trading a scam, then it should not prevent users from withdrawing funds to other accounts.

Slow death (Hero Member)Let's start1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?"well I made money from PTC sites in 2014, I remember that at the time I made money on Neobux and Probux (of course I thought they were legitimate businesses), with these two PTC sites I made $ 200 a day, it was excellent... until one day I enter the probox site and see on the forum saying that the Paypal site had frozen the probux account, but the probux administrator assured that he would continue with the site and I will create an account on payza , about 30 days after paypal had frozen probux account the site became a scam, it was a big nightmare for me because i had more than $ 30,000 on the site (i don't remember the exact amount), i only got Neobux which reduced the value of the clicks of the ads and my profit went down a lot, but months later I saw on the Neobux forum that the probox administrator was a serial scammer called Gustavo Gil Peron and had a scammers allied to him one of them was Alexandre Pereira Prazers and two others women I no longer remember the name Months after the disappointment I had with probux I had to look for other ptc sites, because Neobux's earnings were very small, but all the PTC sites I found on Paypal froze their account and after some time the PTC sites started adding Bitcoin as a means of payment and that's when I went on google and researched bitcoin and discovered this forum, it was in 2016. Unfortunately when I joined this forum I didn't know anything about DT and much less had any idea that many Bitcoin Double and HYIP sites were ponzi schemes (I know it shows that my stupidity was at an immeasurable level), but man I didn't learn the lesson even though a lot of money was stolen on the PTC sites, I still had faith in people and easily believed in them ... anyway, create Noni account and participate in the Give ways that hyip ponzi sites posted in the gambling section and for that reason I received negative feedback 30 days after I created a NONI account and received negative feedback I went to travel where I suffered a car accident on the way and lost my passwords and then I created this current account and decided to start doing research on scammers so I wouldn't be cheated and stolen money and as i had been stolen by the hashocean also my anger and hate for scammers grew a lot and it was there that i sold my Nvidia 9800GT video card that i played games, sealed my other HD, sold my RAM memories and my 19 inch monitor, i ordered money to my father and I went to buy bitcoins and it was there that I also met bestchange and started using bestchange to buy bitcoin) I don't remember the site that was added to bestchange at the time)... but it took 3 days for them to send bitcoins to my wallet, was exchange payza for bitcoin" 2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?"I bought bitcoin in 2016 because I had no other way to make money on the internet, from the research I started to do I realized that PTC Sites were ponzi schemes created by many serial scammers, I realized that I should never invest in Hyip/ponzi and cloud Mining sites, so the best and only option I had was to buy bitcoin and do day trade and Hodl that's why I risked selling my stuff to buy bitcoin" 3. How did you get on the forum?"paypal campaigned against PTCs sites by closing all accounts on PTCs sites, PTCs sites added bitcoin as a means of payment so I went to investigate what bitcoin was and found this forum and started using bitcoin" 4.1. You have spent a lot of time looking for cheaters on the forum. Is this a hobby or professional interest?"what happens Is the following: I lost a lot of money thanks to scammers and as I like to look for new investments when I come across a project that has FAKE TEAM I report or when I see a post from someone who has scam indications I investigate further and report if it is scam" 4.2. Have cheaters tried to take revenge on you for your investigations?"this guy is the part i didn't even want to remember, two years ago i was investigating a hyip ponzi site in the Investor-based games and found out who was the guy who liked to buy hero member accounts to be able to advertise his double sites, he was an italian programmer, he sent me PM saying: "catch me if you can" and after that I was hacked into my Payza, paypal accounts, started receiving emails with strange threats and even received strange proposals for me to click on the link (I think to steal my passwords)" 5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns? Do they harm the forum?"Merit system: clearly it is a very failed system, there are thousands of members who go months without even having 1 Merit and the Merit source are more active in some sections like reputation, scam accusations, and Wall Observer, look at the Wall Observer that you will understand that this merit system is a big joke. signature campaigns: signature campaigns are welcome, I was once a signature campaign manager and I realized that it was a very difficult job, currently with this merit system it seems to me that who has won thousands of merits Is what else has priorities for certain managers and then I keep saying that this merit system has failed even in this. But I don't want to discuss how each manager manages his signature campaign, I respect each person's decision, I just find it regrettable and sad that a place where it is said that a community excludes newbies and junior members. Newbie, Jr. Member and Member no longer have a chance to participate in signature campaigns (argument: they will spam the forum, but the curious thing is that even old and respected members of this forum one day was Newbies, Member and Jr. Member and yes they have already made a 1 line post only and without any content) it's difficult to Newbie and Junior receive merits ( even for me it is very difficult to receive merit, I wonder in what century will I become a legendary member ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ), I still think that each member of this forum should have 200 or 300 sMerit per month to be able to give merits to everyone " 6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?"The most useful forum topic: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?)
Most helpful users: @LoyceV @Vod members who are committed to exposing scammers Forum Staff members and finally @theymos which has the arduous task of keeping this forum running (I just think it should change some things about this Merit system)" 7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?"if i were the forum administrator i would change the merit system so that each person had 200 sMerit per month If I were the forum administrator I would create a group of members to review the feedbacks given by DT members to prevent anyone from leaving negative feedback based on personal opinion without any proof that this person is a scammer, there are many cases where the member receives negative feedback just because he thinks Bitcoin cash Is real bitcoin, Of course I agree that Bitcoin cash is a big joke without meaning to exist" 8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?"I do both" 9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?"honestly I don't remember my big win (I had a lot of big profits), but I remember my big loss that was when I bought a shitcoin TPG that a member of the forum created (now I can't remember the name of the member)" 10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?"now any shitcoin is using DEFI to take advantage of the wave, like what happened with ICOs, I think what I can say is: "let's take advantage of this wave while it lasts" " 11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?"precaution! if a scammer doesn't like me preventing him from stealing millions of dollars and decides to hire murderers to come and harm me in my country? I have to protect myself" 12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?"I no longer remember the title of the book, but it was a book in Portuguese" 13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?"Bitcoin ETH Chainlink" 14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?"In my opinion it will be under $14000" Thanks to Slow death for the interview! The end.

I consider the court's decision to be completely correct if there were no such obligations in the agreement between the exchange and the user. How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5221882Imagine what exchanges would have to do if they were forced to pay out coins to users after each hard fork ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) It's good that the time of forking famous coins has passed.

Impressive with something like three million registered UID's you've run out of people to interview after just sixteen users.
If you look at statistics, 2,102,093 are Archived profiles (Ban), 641,790 are not active profiles. A total of 92,373 active profiles as of July 2020. Source of information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5199053How much of this amount is Alts? I have already sent about 100 invitations, so far this is the result. I hope that you will not refuse to give an interview. __ 1 post updated with new links

This Polkadot had old and new tokens and both are not of the same price from coin sites. Though on Aug 21 there seem to be a kind of calculation that reduced the price to $4 plus. But the whole calculation thing is very confusing. Does anyone know what happened?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/web3-foundation-holds-off-on-100x-polkadot-redenomination"The DOT redenomination vote was originally initiated in May 2020 in order to avoid using small decimals when dealing with DOT and to achieve an easier calculation system. According to the Web3 Foundation, the change would bring “the ability to deal with more ergonomic or human-readable units, like whole numbers rather than small decimals.” The first referendum on the DOT redenomination was carried out in May, offering users to choose whether or not to redenominate DOTs on Polkadot in a 1:100 ratio. Announcing the vote results on May 14, Polkadot said that the Foundation decided to not sponsor the redenomination despite the referendum recording “very little dissent”. " https://cointelegraph.com/news/polkadot-to-run-final-dot-redenomination-vote-with-real-dot-tokens"100x split option is the biggest supported option so far According to live vote results shared by a spokesperson at Parity, the option “split of 100x” is leading the referendum to date as of press time. Specifically, the 100x split option has about 200,000 DOTs voted, while the 1,000x one has about 95,000 tokens. “No change” option has apparently been getting the least amount of support so far, having collecte about 40,000 DOTs, while a 10x split has about 55,000 tokens voted so far. The vote will officially end on July 27." https://polkadot.network/results-of-dot-redenomination-referendum/keep an eye out for Polkadot NEW https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/polkadot-new/

Learn what this project does. It is not a competitor to Ethereum or Cardano, but only expands the capabilities of blockchains, thanks to its crosschain technology. The future of such projects needs to be monitored, and it is also necessary to understand that the project has 2 different tokens Polkadot NEW and Polkadot OLD. Polkadot NEW turned out after reduction of the price of Polkadot OLD in 100 times. https://polkadot.network/

So many senior members and only 2 Full ones, this thread seems to give off some intimidating aura, eh ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Do you think this party is only for senior members? NOIf you want to give an interview, write to me in PM. You don't even have to write me a PM. If you notice that all questions are the same except for 4. You can come up with questions for number 4 and publish your interview. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I still don't understand why so many people do not want to express their opinion. I have plans to interview more people, maybe soon the holiday season will end, and there will be more people willing

Initially, I really liked the idea of interviews of various bitcoin talk members, but there is something that it a bit sterile about a written interview format.. so I cannot bring myself to read them, even members who I want to get to know better.
I am thinking that starting a podcast might be a better format... but at least some kind of audio format... ...audio can be a bit more spontaneous and a bit more tone based, even better if there were some options for voices to be disguised....
I understand that my comments might be coming off as a bit annoying.. but just saying what I am thinking about the likely difficulties that members (besides yours truly, perhaps?) might be having with written interview dynamics. #justsaying
I am always for freedom of opinion, so there is no problem. Most people are not public person and it is very dangerous to give any interview in audio format. Modern voice technology allows you to find any person, so I'm unlikely to find anyone who wants to. There are programs that allow you to change your voice, but this will cause even more problems. I can't ask all the questions in one interview, but I don't need to. You can ask any questions in this topic, or in the user project topics.

I think by now there should be ways to filter out the fake ones that have the intention to scams the exchange user. I don't think it's hard thing to do/fix.
How do you propose to do this on a decentralized exchange? The maximum that is possible is to write that you should trade with caution and put the ⚠ If the exchange begins to prohibit or not show some tokens, then the whole meaning of "De" is lost. I did not delve into this issue in detail, but if the Ethereum platform forbade the creation of tokens with the same three-letter codes, then this problem would not exist.

thanks a lot for this guide my friend personally i confuse about how to trade in uniswap, so, i never trade there, even i want to buy some alt in uniswap, but because i don't know how to trade there, i never buy the alt,,
Check out any guide, this is the easiest exchange in the world https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcZ7kVC2-6gInstall Metamask Wallet for your browser. https://metamask.ioI use a more secure option, connecting a hardware ledger wallet to the metamask wallet, and confirm all transactions by pressing the keys. This provides additional security. It is better to figure it out now, because when you see a great investment opportunity, you will not have the experience and skills to carry out the transaction, or you will simply make mistakes (setting the wrong commission, etc.)

all out "strange" law as to me. It "decriminalized" cryptocurrency but prohibits to buy any of goods/properties with it. Looks like it’s for the benefit of a small circle of topmost officials who have billions in bitcoin and can spend them for buying luxuries being abroad. I can’t explain it any other way. Which would make sense. Let FSB thieves spend Wex money and anyone they turn a blind eye to, and confiscate bitcoins of anyone else who's found not compliant with the new law. This ban on the use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment can be easily circumvented. There are payment bank cards that allow pre-existing bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies to be converted at the exchange rate into rubles and paid in rubles. The law that has come into force will not be violated. Why invent something? https://www.bestchange.ru/bitcoin-to-ruble-cash.htmlA huge market for the sale of cryptocurrencies has formed in Russia, you can exchange your cryptocurrency for cash in rubles or dollars. Many of these exchangers are cared for under the protection of the police and similar government agencies. I do not think that such a market will be closed.

I think Yam is still a good project. Just because of a small mistake, they made the building's value almost zero. I believe they will soon fix the above error and bring the project up to its plan. In the top 10 projects above I think it is for reference only and there are many errors because there are currently many projects with higher capitalization and more known people than the list above.
YAM is similar to Ampleforth. I'm sure the developers took a lot of ideas from this project. Such projects bring money only to developers, and many novice investors lose huge amounts of money. I would not be surprised if the price of the new token rises again. https://twitter.com/YamFinance"Migration from YAMv1 to YAMv2 is now live, please see below for more information. https://hoo.com/labs/detail/proxi, talking about DeFi scams today there is a new DeFi that might end up in a scam namely Proxi Defi, so they held a mini IEO on Hoo Exchange a few hours ago their mini IEO sold out, and also afterwards they held an auction program on Mesa.eth after all their auctions were finished. claiming to reach x27, and sure enough their token went up on uniswap but after that the drama happened because the contract creator to make a scam token ($credit) sent 3000 eth more to binance and exchanged it for usdt. Thank you, I will follow this information closely, but I have not yet found information on the prices of this token on the exchanges and the price chart. If you have data, then share links. I don't think calling them scam is right. Irresponsible could be the right term due to lack of review on its smart contract. Right now price have risen around $2.6 USDT per YAM. I wonder what would happen on YAM 2.0? Will the price go back and will investors or hodlers buy YAM once again?
![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2FYW0CJpf%2F20.jpg&t=663&c=-PvrE7O3DzE-6A) The price does not rise, it is manipulated on the gate.io exchange. YAM token deposits and withdrawals are closed. The price on this exchange was 3 times higher than the market price on other exchanges. My task is to warn users.
