7101  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I was bored. So i wanted to buy a game on Steam... on: July 22, 2015, 05:04:26 PM
i am always looking around for steam stuff all over the internet.

i even submitted a request with them asking them to start accepting bitcoin as payment.

I used steambitshop[1] for this several times in the past.

7102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 0.02 btc , want to invest on: July 22, 2015, 04:59:45 PM
0.022 B is just a tiny bitcoin, you can invest a ipo or just to gamble your money. Wink

i am sorry to say this but both of those are the worst things that anybody can do with their bitcoins.

i personally consider both of them a gamble and also with high risks.
7103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 22, 2015, 04:56:26 PM
Is there some way to earn Bitcoins quickly?

Mining seems to be too far ahead of me, and faucets give out very little.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

There are two secure ways to earn bitcoin. First to buy them with real money. Second to participate in signature campaigns. There are the faucets too but they giving very few. Don't use cloud mining because they are to risky and the earnings are not secure.

there should be a topic on how not to earn bitcoin or places which you can not earn bitcoin.

and the topic should include ponzi schemes in the shape of cloudmining and gambling.
7104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 22, 2015, 04:53:21 PM
So, how many bitcoin do you earn in this days?
Does any one really earn 1 bitcoin every work by following his stratagy.

in the first couple of pages i asked OP to show at least 10 altcoins that he has trades and went up in price in order to give him (according to himself) 1100% return

but he simply ignored it and the post got buried under pages of posts.
7105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is closing banks already on: July 22, 2015, 04:42:09 PM
Here is just the latest effect Bitcoin is having on banks... http://money.cnn.com/2015/07/15/investing/bank-of-america-branches-layoffs/index.html?iid=EL  Lets keep up the good work.

it likes to me that the two things are not really connected events. besides bitcoin is so smaller than big banks to be able to shut down a branch.
7106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: July 22, 2015, 04:36:30 PM
Only 1, when i told him about bitcoin, he just don't believe it and i never talk about it anymore.

he don't believe what? that bitcoin can surpass fiat, that can rise to 10k? or that simply bitcoin isnt' real but just a ponzi scheme and nothing else like many depict it...

personally i would try to convince him, you can do it pretty easily, by starting with saying that bitcoin is money
Not all people can understand or trust something new like bitcoin. He will say 'are you kidding me?' or 'don't joke around me', when he hear its value is higher than fiat. Trust to me, its hard to recommend people in a city that less bitcoin development.

yeah. right now it is no hard to convince many people to accept what benefits bitcoin has to offer . but when the price goes up everybody will be interested in it again.

just like before when the price was going up i could hear everywhere that people are talking about bitcoin
7107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay Forbids Bitcoin for Payments on: July 22, 2015, 04:13:34 PM
Ebay is going to come around on this in the future. if bitcoin gets bigger and be used vastly they are going to be left behind if they continue this path.

on the other hand if some projects like open bazzar becomes successful they will lose their share of the market which is not good for them.
7108  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 21, 2015, 05:27:08 PM
For all the BTC challenged out there you can pick up 1 Euro's worth by making some suggestions about a website here.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3e26lq/cubits_celebrates_relaunch_with_no_strings/

nice . i am going to check it out for some bits Cheesy

there is always these kinds of things going on , on reddit. especially in dogecoin sub , i gave away some doge there myself

7109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 21, 2015, 02:41:27 PM
as far as i am concerned the gambling site has to be fair most of all . because if their system has flaws or even if they are scamming in their coding, then it is not even worth visiting their site.

the second thing is the bot. i like to do my bettings automatically . so i would expect a nice and fast bot which i can set up to my likings and start betting with it for long periods.
7110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is wealth boring? on: July 21, 2015, 02:36:53 PM
i think it depends most of all on how much wealth you have. if you are filthy rich beyond imagination it can get boring in long time, that is why there are bored millionaires seeking weird kinds of thrills just to keep themselves from getting too bored!
7111  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Stolen Bitcoin on: July 21, 2015, 02:34:03 PM
This again highlights the huge weakness of bitcoin as they are stored and protected (not!) at the moment. If people loose money in a banking account most of the time they will get their money back. For bitcoin.... it's just "so sorry, too bad".

how is it weakness of bitcoin?!!

as i understood from OP , he didn't have 2FA enabled on his account. i have seen a lot of this which led to losing bitcoin stored on blockchain.info 's wallet. besides it is a well known fact that online wallets aren't exactly the most secure place for storing bitcoin.

so it would be the service's weakness and not bitcoin
7112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Make Money With Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2015, 02:21:48 PM
Thanks guys for your useful comments Smiley
I have a blog with good traffic, how can i earn money (bitcoin) from my blog?
Is there any CPM sites with bitcoin payment method?

if you want to accept advertisement banners and stuff like that that pays you in bitcoin i think the best option is adbit.co , bee-ads.com , coinadvert.net

all of them are seen a lot on bitcoin faucets. but the highest paying is google but it doesn't pay in bitcoin,.
Thanks.

no problem.

i also found this topic on how to create a faucet a while back. you can read the section about advertising . (Part 3 - Advertising)
it has good information about all those advertising networks and is more complete:

here is the link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=934536.0

a faucet is almost entirely dependant on ad money though, and without sufficient traffic, it is not profitable to run a faucet. balancing competitive micropayouts with advertising revenue, hosting fees, etc, doesnt equate to profitability without some standing reputation and popularity.

the faucets are a lot of work for the smallest reward for both the people using it for satoshies or for their owner. they have to pay the visitors , pay for hosting , domain , maintain the faucet , advertise to get traffic .

but i think as johnnywoo2015 has a blog if he can place those ads on it , since he doesn't have any cost for maintaining it , this can be profitable even if it is small.
7113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month. on: July 21, 2015, 02:12:27 PM
this prediction is dying off, it will not happen, there is no more time, even the last 1200 peak took more than this time frame to be achieved

you have destroyed your history of good predictions with this

Sadly I think this prediction is dead.   I wish it would have been true would have been a heck of a bump for miners.

I would settle for half of predicted in a month but I don't think that will happen.   Its a slow climb for BTC.

in my opinion the slow price rise is better than a huge jump which leads to a flow up crash immediately afterwards. it would make the price more stable and it is less possible to crash now..

but anyways this slow rise or even stable market is no indication if whether or not the pump is going to come. for all we know it is possible to see another rise to $1000 in matter of weeks.
7114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Outside money will only come when we make a new ATH on: July 21, 2015, 01:59:01 PM
i say if the dark markets start growing in activity again that alone is going to attract a lot of money into bitcoin like what silk road did back in the days.

but to go higher than $1000 i think we are going to need much more than that. because the dark markets are always have the risk of being shut down and that means another bail out which will crash the price again!
7115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most beautiful block explorer ever ? on: July 21, 2015, 01:49:19 PM
i don't know why but i still prefer blockchain.info as an online block explorer and fortunately it didn't have any more down-times after the spam attack on the network was ended.
7116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 21, 2015, 01:30:20 PM
Within 24 hours we will reach 6 billion bets! Amazing... Congrats!

is there any sort of prize for reaching 6 billion (wow) bets on primedice?

something like another happy hour or a giveaway would be nice though.

This. Giveaway would be great. Unfortunately, I am not eligible for PD's latest giveaway since I am still Member. Waiting for the easy one.
Anyway, congrats to PD for reaching another amazing milestone.

but there is always options for other users too. they didn't leave other lower rank members dry either.

last time they did give away i think half of the amount here on their reddit sub, you could join that if you have a reddit account.
7117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quantum Dice - House edge as low as 0.01%!!![limited time] on: July 21, 2015, 01:27:40 PM
i like the website although it started as a copy clone , it looks good to me.

also it is always good to see someone always trying to improve their service.

keep up the good work bro.
7118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling sites' max payout on: July 21, 2015, 01:22:46 PM
i have only seen the high multipliers on very small amounts. and most of them are using it on faucets.
especially the faucet farmers do this with very small amounts that they can get from faucets and then multiply it, so i think it doesn't matter how high it goes because nobody risks huge amounts of money on them.
7119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: July 21, 2015, 01:17:15 PM
i have a total bitcoin wager of so far less than a 0.5BTC amount mostly because i don't risk too much of my money in gambling.

by the way , interesting results on the poll so far.

i expected the majority of the votes to be between 1-3BTC but it looks like either the whales aren't here or the majority have really gambled less than 1BTC so far.
