Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Nothing perfect on system, so anything can happen. Better to shut it down momentarily right?

I remember there was a site to buy steam giftcards directly, you just bought them by using your personal BTC address, not even Bitpay needed. I forgot the URL.

Where do these keys come from?
if seller is scamper they will come from stolen credit cards money and steam will bust the buyer. if they are legit they can buy it with conventional ways like credit card or paypal or etc and i think steam has some discounts like summer sale and things like that which makes them super cheap to buy.

i am always looking around for steam stuff all over the internet. i even submitted a request with them asking them to start accepting bitcoin as payment. aww man they are in vacation what does that even mean?!!! how can a website go on vacation lol It used to be an automated system, but that required the operator to run a steam client on the server IIRC. The client apparently was hacked in the past and thus the homepage is now just an interface to interact with a person. If there is no person, the site is not operational. At least thats my understanding of it. Martok88 could probably tell us more about that.

If you cant find an alternative they should be back soon. If you like indy games you should give one finger death punch a try. IIRC it wasnt expensive, but loads of fun. I think its somewhat known though.

There is quite an informative article on Polygon about possible origins of the keys third party merchants like Kinguin or G2A are selling.
