Only Japan vs Chile on tonight which concludes the first lot of matches. I think Japan will edge this one but I’m not betting on it.
I expect Chile to win or make a draw and Peru too.
Qatar performance was quite acceptable as a start and Uruguay was hard on Ecuador!
7102  Economy / Speculation / Re: June 2019 - Bitcoin hits 10K, where next on: June 16, 2019, 02:38:00 PM
Your topic isn't correct, it never reached $10K at least yet. On some of the Bitmex futures it hit $9600 or so however the spot markets or the perp swaps the high was $9400 or so.

I think $10K will be a tough barrier, if we break-thru it then there will be many FOMO thinking since $10K broke that $20K is next. So we should quickly go to $12-$13K.

If $20K is broken then easily go to $25K or $30K. I highly doubt we will see $100K.
Seeing the price at preev ($9k) and this topic! Tho the price crashed badly..
The bitcoin price made a good jump but without a proper time for consolidation, I want to see a week of consolidation at +$10k then every ~$2k until we reach ATH at least to stay safe.
I believe we will see $100k but after the halving imo

LOL I am the bottom one in the table. I thought Argentina was going to win...
What is wrong? Argentina is not a top contestant anymore?
Argentina is playing weirdly these years, i do not know if they could play better without messi?...
They disappointed everyone..

Qatar game looks interesting because from earlier this year they won a major title in the football world so they might have that to ride on going into this game.
The odds are very good for them to have a win going at 4.90x against paraguay.
Qatar was doing pretty well lately especially with the world Cup 2022 being hosted in their country. It will be interesting to know their level in Copa.
7104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which way will it go? Which trend will it follow? on: June 13, 2019, 07:10:13 PM
It was obvious that after the sharp increase in the market cap and especially in Bitcoin's price we are going to face a Bear June.
I believe that we are going to go a little more down and then bounce up again (despite the today's small price increase).

Nothing is obvious. I expected bear May or April, but it did not happened.
I have the feeling that bitcoin price tends to decrease in the summer barely each year then tends to rise especially in November/December. It is not a rule but maybe we will experience a little drop/correction in July/August?
7105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: June 12, 2019, 08:50:36 PM
If I were to place a bet on the match, I would have gone with Iceland to win, they play fantastic football, one would argue that their players were professional for years, going by the the way the play.
When people saw Turkey beating France then their decision will be very influenced tho!

Except their playing against a very mediocre team like Estonia, then you'll expect a totally one sided game.
Just a few minutes ago, i was looking how much goals the first team (from the end) took. Impressive +10 goals/50% and the best one was San Marino. No offence but some nation has to participate in Premier league or the spanish/Italian one in order to improve!
7106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: June 12, 2019, 08:33:16 PM
If you own 10 bitcoins that would be a win/loss of $10k in one pump/dump  Shocked
That's the point  Smiley
Now imagine someone with +100 or +1000 btc dumped and bumped separately in little blocks dozens of times every day. A fortune  Wink
At the opposite, quite stable price is unhealthy for big whales essentially
7107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: June 08, 2019, 07:33:36 PM
Everyone thinks France is the favorites and they will probably kill the games early but I think Turkey could force a draw if they play their card right today....
Any other surprises is not for me a big possibility other than Turkey.
Turkey 2-0 France until now... I think I am missing something over here!
Other than that, no surprises. Russia had a good training today about how to score 4 to 5 goals in less than 16 minutes in each half...
7108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we still expect more from bitcon? on: June 06, 2019, 03:48:13 PM
Can we still expect more from bitcoin?

For the past few weeks now we can see that bitcoin shifted up little bit and its more than $8000,this is really great for we have waited for a while for improvement on bitcoin.  But are we going to see more of the increase as its going or it will run around $8000 plus?
I will not expect or predict anything until we go back to $20k then we will have a talk  Wink
I just expect to take few more months up to 1 year to rise to the old ATH..
7109  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 06, 2019, 03:43:33 PM
I think the main reason they ask kyc for large amount or on some exchanges even for low amount is money laundering and terrorism, if this not was on this world we could trade without kyc on most exchanges.
It is because the system created were vulnerable to abuses. Not all of the people around the world are good and are only seeing bitcoin and block chain a good tool that can be use for the betterment. Some of it has seen the flows and used bitcoin to take advantage from tye government being an anonymity.
Even if governments abuse its power and force people to use cryptocurrencies, that should not let them provide their identity to a stranger running an unknown project, ico...
7110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: June 01, 2019, 11:47:40 PM
Can't believe I even watched the whole thing, was so boring.
Yes it was almost boring apart from few missed opportunities especially in the second half. The first goal in less than 2 minutes made Tottenham players playing under much stress. Was expecting more goals... We saw better games than tonight but in final Liverpool made it and it deserves it.
Congratulations LFC!
7111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: June 01, 2019, 02:29:23 PM
Few hours to go, waiting... I think Liverpool has a better chance and I believe there will be many goals today. People waiting for this game like it is the final game of the world Cup  Smiley
7112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 27, 2019, 10:27:45 PM
I am bullish for Bitcoin.  I think people feeling of FOMO will starting to pile up.  It is possible that Bitcoin will hit 10k this week.  Bitcoin came from a sideway of $8k this rally will possibly record a new higher high and that higher high maybe that $10k
I am waiting for a correction to be done normally. Such big jump in the price is just wonderful! I just prefer to see a correction above $10k and essentially a long consolidation above this number so we can take the road again to ATH and beyond  Wink
7113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 27, 2019, 10:22:46 PM
Aston Villa, one of the few english that won the Champions League (the others are Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, and Nottingham Forest) is back in the EPL...Good to know that we'll get to watch the top teams at Villa Park, it's such a nice looking stadium  Cheesy

Btw, did you guys read the news about Newcastle? The club is about to be sold to the Bin Zayed Group[1], the same ones who failed to takeover Liverpool last year[2]

2. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1007716/Liverpool-takeover-Man-City-owner-cousin-Sheik-Khaled-Anfield-FSG

I think it was sad they dropped out, big club, big organic fan base, but I wasn't too unhappy they got relegated back then, they were playing god awful football so maybe this will jolt them back into the proper way of playing football (whatever that is, NOT how they played 3 years ago!).

But say what Newcastle? Another Sheikh club must not happen! Don't get me wrong, I have little against the origin of owners, just against the origin of owners' cash
I would like to know what is the point of this move. I mean a Saudi guy bought an Egyptian team and made him famous by a way or another. But this is EPL and things is different! Emirates and Saudis Sheits ruined every thing they touched...

You want to close a potential source of information for the Thai secret intelligence agency?  Tongue
/serious : hope they are ok and indeed i respect their privacy as you said LOTV8s.
7115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 27, 2019, 01:30:38 PM
Other day I saw the prices are even over 7k Euro LOL.
This is crazy.
Install a widescreen projector, bring your friends and watch the hell together (for free of course)! 7k!!! Wat! Without airplane tickets and hotel fees!

It's not the same buddy.
The atmosphere and the fest that happens there in a final is once in a lifetime experience and it cannot be compared by watching it from your couch.
That's true, Watching the atmosphere directly by supporting our favorite club will be different if we just watch it from the couch. That's why people are very enthusiastic about the UCL final later and will do anything to be able to watch the match directly. I too, if I have the opportunity to go there I will do it right away. But I can't force it because the distance is too far from my country.
Indeed it is not the same thing  Smiley
I find it very exaggerated as a price, well depending from the salary and countries of course  Wink

7117  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 25, 2019, 05:42:47 PM
This is really crazy. I can't believe that your salary has remained constant for 30 years. Here in India, the agricultural laborers used to get around INR 5 three decades pack as the salary. This has increased to around INR 200 as of now. Obviously the inflation has also increased during this time, but if you look at the purchasing power, it is also showing an increase.
It depends from country to country. Inflation is a big problem essentially for third world countries where the salary in the local currency could be multiplied by x number but in fact if we compare it in the past few years to gold or $/£/€...today then you will see that the salary decreased or remain the same at best...
7118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 23, 2019, 09:36:33 PM
9 days to go...
Read something that EL finals will play with more then half stadium. Seem like England fans is long to travel and on top of that only both team get 6000 tickets.
Shame for football must say, but lets wait and see what will it be.
Azerbaijan. It is not obvious to see many England fans there comparing to UK or Spain based game...but local people will be there in mass though!
7119  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a value reserve? on: May 22, 2019, 05:33:47 PM
At least Bitcoin isn't a fractional reserve currency. Bitcoin itself is mined much like Gold and has a limited quantity. The value of each Bitcoin is created and strengthened by the vast quantity of miners around the globe. Bitcoin is a store of value which moves in the direction of the media, government, businesses and developers who support it.
Bitcoin has limited quantity but not the stable value like gold so the chances of using it as reserve for value to any currency is null and bitcoin itself a currency whereas gold is not.
Gold price is not stable, it can in fact increase or less likely decrease from year to year, however it is by far more stable than bitcoin.
Bitcoin has a fixed quantity but not a limited one. If bitcoin adoption becomes global and demand >>>supply, the price will jump and the satoshi unit could be devised further to millisatoshi? nanosatoshi?...
7120  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a value reserve? on: May 18, 2019, 11:41:50 AM
The price of bitcoin is directly not reserved, but the increasingly overloaded supply and demand activities that make bitcoin valuable. In the future, it is not impossible that bitcoin can have a very high value, we can see when Bitcoin was first created and used to buy pizza with 10,000 btc, but now with that amount we can buy a pizza factory. in the future it will also be more than that.
From les than 1 dollar to more than $18k, well, %18000 rise ? Imagine someone having more than 100 bitcoin that time and now! And imagine the same thing happening in the future once the price rise to 6 digits. Bitcoin is the most valuable investment ever happened. It is better than gold that was used as a reserve...
