They work fine together... I run both. There are no issues running Electrum and ElectronCash at the same time on the same PC.

MultiBit HD? Do you have the "wallet words" aka the 12 word seed mnemonic? If so you can just recreate your wallet using that...
File -> New\restore -> Standard wallet -> I already have a seed -> click "Options" -> Select "BIP39" -> Enter your seed -> set Derivation path to m/0'

1) Is it a good idea to import the keys into another wallet and spend the bitcoins from there? (Knowing that there's still some unconfirmed transactions out there.)
Yes - to importing the keys elsewhere... Maybe - to spending the coins... it may not be possible if the existing transactions are still in the mempool. 2) Can I cancel the unconfirmed transactions? With a lot of Googling, I could not come up with a trustworthy way of doing that.
No. This simply isn't possible with Bitcoin. You either wait for the transactions to drop from all the mempools... or they will get confirmed. There is no way for you to forcibly "cancel" them. I'm following this. I have similar question about 5.19 version. Is it even still working? Is it mandatory to update to newer version?
Technically, the app still "works"... however a lot of users have had issues with backups being corrupted (the encryption process seems broken)... and also, the fee system is VERY outdated... the MAX fee you can pay is nowhere close to current recommended fees. There is no "newer" version... The entire MultiBit Classic and the more modern MultiBit HD have been dropped by the developer. There will be no more updates. www.multibit.org My advice: Export your private keys from MultiBit and sweep (or import) them into Electrum ( https://electrum.org/#download). It is probably the the closest wallet in terms of functionality and operation to MultiBit.

Wallet Properties -> Backup This Wallet -> See Other Backup options -> Select "export keys list" -> click "export keys list" button -> UNCHECK EVERYTHING
Then check ONLY "Address String" and "Included Unused (Address Pool)". This will show all the currently generated addresses.
The problem with this, is that when new addresses are generated (after the current ones start getting used) he won't have the new addresses... so will start missing addresses and transactions after a while.

EDIT: have accelerated the parent (89ff18b4276fac5d78cf2cbd67a74c70e61ce95ffeb9cf665c5ecb285790ec38) Parent is now confirmed, will work on the original transaction next. Transaction ID: d1eace47800b823bd602a072d895aaf261c844532bead5da54f41c6f9595bb5b

Working on it... but I think the large size is making it difficult to get into ViaBTC, it takes 5-10 seconds to parse it... and by that time the 100 slots are full ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) All the other transactions get accepted first click! Transacation ID : 70e55204a89aa77f85503edc728ee075f61d86071e0e482732127979e45ed2d5
Your transaction fee is too low... it is only 1 sat/byte... ViaBTC will not accept this... a lot of the nodes are actually saying that it doesn't meet min-relay-fee... so your transaction has not propagated well. This transaction is NOT going to be confirmed any time soon... my advice would be to wait for it to fully drop and try again. Or try a "Child Pays For Parent" if you control either: 1BgBqVoxU7hua3rEDzdw2ConK3QDaqW1e4 or 181L4B2PzkrSBpV14WKtPUke99xeQ5ztYa

You probably have a Bitcoin Knots process running in the background somewhere... open up the Task Manager and look through the "processes" for Bitcoin Knots related tasks. Kill them all and then try running Bitcoin Knots again.

Deleting apps doesn't "delete" any of your coins... you are free to remove the BCH app, install another app (say LTC app), then remove the LTC app and reinstall the BCH app and all your coins will be fine. Remember, coins are "stored" on the Blockchain, NOT in your device. The only thing in your device is the seed/private keys... and ALL the wallets are generated one the same seed (your 24 words) ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) When did you put the BTC on your Ledger? if it was BEFORE August 1st, then you're looking at the BCH you got from the fork ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I wasn't able to transfer LTC from Coinbase to Nano though. It complained about the Nano LTC address. "Please enter a valid email or Litecoin address" I'm 100% about the address since it was a copy and paste, no spaces at the end. So maybe it's that Legacy vs Segwit address option on the nano wallet?
What letter does the LTC address start with? Chances are that it IS a Legacy vs. SegWit issue... although SegWit has been around on LTC a lot longer than it was on BTC... I would have though the support would have been better.

I have the Electrum wallet. I have a two transactions marked as NOT VERIFIED after 5 days. this is ridiculous. The "slider" is no longer in the preferences. I am guessing upgrading the fees after the transaction will not affect the transfers in progress.... Urgh. Who distributes an installer without warning the users of this choice at INSTALL TIME
What are you talking about? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Slider in preferences? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) It isn't in preferences... it's right there on the "Send" tab: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F11%2F15%2FzOTnw.png&t=663&c=n5RatMKGqpjapg) If you set your transaction to RBF, you can always bump the fee after sending... For the record, Electrum is one of the BEST wallets with regards to setting fees. You can just tick "Dynamic Fees" in the preferences, and adjust the slider for desired confirmation time... you can also select "edit fees manually" to give you that extra bit of fine control.

That is a total SCAM... DO NOT download that wallet! There is NO network for Bitcoin Diamond, NO mining, NO code, nothing... Also, for that SCAM wallet, there is NO source code... ONLY a 180 Mb .exe file that has somehow been packed down into 480 kb??!? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) ROFL Seriously... you download that, you can kiss ALL your coins goodbye! ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

1. That will work 2. No, it will prune while it goes 3. If you ever need to rescan (importing privkeys etc) you are going to be in a world of pain ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) That is to say, you'll need to redownload the entire blockchain again. Is there a specific reason why you'd rather use Bitcoin Core instead of a lightweight client like Electrum?

Hi there. For electrum wallet, there are 2 passwords i believe. One is the when you open electrum, you would have to input the password to see how many btc there are and the transactions right? Thats the encrypt wallet file? Then there is the one where when you send btc, you have to enter the password. But these passwords has to be the same password or not? And you suggest to encrypt the wallet file right?
No. It has ONE password that does both. Okay so for example. If someone has their electrum wallet get malware on it. Then why do i hear cases about electrum wallet or other wallets getting hacked then assuming they put a password on it? Is it because the hacker cracked the password? Because i thought if the hacker were to have access to your computer/electrum, they can't just download a trojan or program and then unlock the program like that?
Generally, this is people downloading FAKE versions of Electrum, importing private keys or seeds from other wallets... the fake wallet then sends this information to the thief (like what happened when people stupidly put their private keys/seeds into mybtgwallet.com). Okay so the watching only wallet. So with your electrum wallet right now connected to your ledger nano s, you have a password that you have to put that you need to type in before you can view your balance or not? I assume no? Thus when you open electrum, it shows how much btc you have and the history right there? Thus because you are using electrum with nano ledger s, you cannot make it where you have to type in a password to open electrum right?
It does not have a password on watching only wallets... it is a "feature request" that has been made and the devs are working on it apparently.

Will electrum bitcoin wallet support upcoming forks?
No. Electrum is a Bitcoin Wallet... they support Bitcoin. However, it is fully opensource, so anyone that wants to fork the code and make it compatible with bitcoin forks is welcome to do so... like Jonald Fyookball did with ElectronCash for BitcoinCash.

your transaction accelereted by antpool
You realise that the AntPool acceleration hasn't been working for some time? I guess they finally shut it down due to all the "freeloaders" spamming it with transactions to try and make some tips on here ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Because that isn't YOUR wallet... it is an address belonging to an exchange... Effectively, what you have is simply a deposit address linked to an account. It is up to the service provider (ie. the Exchange) to then correctly credit your account with the value received to the deposit address. Note that this is not "actual" BTC. It is just a number in the Exchange's database... if the Exchange disappears tomorrow, so do your BTC.
Your ONLY option at the current point in time is to contact the Exchange that you sent the funds to and ask them why they have not credited your account. No-one here can help you.

Any real investor is going to know they can buy $1 instead of being forced to buy $300 worth. I don't think a real investor ever thinks they are limited or required to put in a certain amount.
Sadly... there is no Aptitude Test required to use the Internet and/or CryptoCurrency ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Makes me laugh when people are like "GBYTE" should be listed as "MBYTE" so all the crypto-n00b investors think they're getting a good deal by being able to buy a whole one... just buy a smaller chunk then! ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Thanks not that I need that. But do you know the link does not work? It gives txt wrong or something.
I think you'll find it says "Textcoin already claimed"... ie. someone already claimed the Bytes ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

the second one has confirmed... unfortunately you sent the first with a 5 sat/byte fee... ViaBTC won't accept it... and for the reasons mentioned below, I don't think AntPool works anymore due to "abuse" ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Your transaction is "stuck" because it is spending the output from a previous unconfirmed transaction ( 89ff18b4276fac5d78cf2cbd67a74c70e61ce95ffeb9cf665c5ecb285790ec38) This previous transaction only has a fee of 39 sats/byte which is quite low compared to the recommended... https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx (120+) and https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ (370+ ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) ) I'll try and get both accelerated, no promises tho. Accelerated with AntPool (although, I'm fairly sure that this no longer works after the hordes of "free" acceleration services started abusing it by accelerating hundreds of transactions a day ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) )...
