I'm going to take a few UCL qualification bets tonight, but probably live, or closer to the game. Tactic: bet on the team that goes down an early goal, at least 1 should make it through for a comeback win haha. Anyway, a boosted insured 100 units on Sportsbet on Olympic Brisbane, Clyde FC, Sarmiento, Irtysh Omsk, Amkar Perm to WIN @13.37. Other odds: 12.79 (nice odds right?) Units advantage: 58 Running advantage after 415 bets: +27,776 (+58) All-time cumulative: +66,174 Running units after 414 bets (63W|351L): +11,778 (-100)

Ouch guys. Kind of makes you feel relieved the max bets were lowered on the last few busts huh (I can't really recall to be honest but hey, 3 mbtc saved is almost $100 haha).
We've had really close calls before but it does hurt to get it with 5 seconds to spare. Romanian football, at least we know they can give us 20 points easy.

Big Virgil is back, everything changes for us. He’s the key for us, it’s a miracle we came 3rd last season with all the injuries. This season we are coming for the big trophies though. Konate looks like a beast in the training pics, excited to see him play. I still think we need to replace Gini & maybe sign a striker but we’re in a good position. $100,000 per BTC by Xmas? I thought it was guaranteed but there’s been some awful FUD & the price has really suffered. I hope it’s still possible, Wednesday 21st July should be interesting - https://t.co/09Akc7KQOWYeah, my kid said he honestly thought we were still going to win it at some point, but then we had that seriously rough patch with that unwanted home loss record. But I'm happy it all happened last season, worst injury and luck I've seen in my entire lifetime watching us, glad we just purged everything in that one bad season, and finished it strong. Still got great memories too, not least that Alisson goal! Konate should provide a great partnership with our big man, really pleased with the buy, hope also the others at the back find a way to overcome brittle bones =D Hoping to see more from Mina after his loan, Saints seem to have improved him pre-season and yeah about Gini, hope Keita also steps up cause he needs to deliver more than those flashes of brilliance we've seen. There are low hopes for Bitcoin reaching $100k by Christmas as market is going down and red for weeks but all it takes is one big pump to start the frenzy.
I think Sportsbet should organize some special competition for olympic games, and maybe adding some outright winners for different sports.
All it needs is 3x in a couple of months, so plenty of time left for that =D This is the best buying opportunity you'll wish stuck around longer when 100k happens ha!

Damn man, you are scraping bottom of the barrel at the moment. I don't know what is worse you betting on those teams or me knowing for each and every one which Country and League they are from and even a rough table position ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I am keeping my bets mostly on tennis while waiting for the "proper" leagues to start. Damn man, I really appreciate you sharing in my pain. Sometimes, I wonder what goes through my mind when I make this picks. I like going for underdogs but I don't know these teams well enough, and then I kill acca above on the 2nd leg. Have to say you win the "worse" as you even know their league position haha... Don't ask me to show my tennis betting. It's even worse... I picked Rune in ATP today and he lost =)

IF the US dollar is to be thwarted, it needs to be replaced with something. Yuan is the likelier displacer, though, not Bitcoin.
I do not know if other countries are going to be that happy to let the Chinese to have even more power over them, I think it is way more likely that we go to a system of basket of currencies in which instead of having a single currency being the unofficial currency of the world, as it is the case of the US dollar at the moment, we will have governments holding the currencies of several other countries. However this will make the economy even more unstable and I would be not surprised if such system does not last for long. Actions say otherwise -- a huge part of the pacey development now going on in Africa and in Southeast Asia (possible South America too but I don't know enough) is Chinese money. Highways, skyscrapers, public transport, utilities -- I've seen myself swathes of land being developed at breakneck speed all taking on yuan injections. A digital yuan would cut down on friction and I think commerce-wise, developing economies would welcome yuan-based exchange, loans, invoicing... instead of US-based at the moment. The banks and central banks would be doing those currency baskets (and already are) but B2B is where China's prepping their muscles for flexing.

Missed yesterday's one I think so (phew) for not hitting. Would have been kicking myself if so. Champions League tomorrow yeah so we should have a rich pick but for now, interesting choice tonight, I've had Bucuresti and Cluj in my picks plenty of times but I daresay a first one for Voluntari. Early season, should have plenty of goals.
Anyway, we've been having more 20s than busts overalls I feel, my money's always good when it's Blackjack. GL!

Not long until the Premier League starts on August 13th, that’s what I’m most looking forward to. The Olympics starts Friday 23rd July though, I’ll be studying odds on that in preparation.
You speak for most of us I think. I've been spamming Liverpool markets and the only one available is the opener vs Norwich, which I already put bets on for long accas that already failed. I'm looking for a big win, we've been doing opening day scoring pretty well since Klopp took over. Already have bets on outrights to win both EPL and UCL -- maybe Sportsbet wants to put some long specials on EPL similar to EURO? It'll lock in a lot of bets but I don't mind;) Bitcoin will be worth 100k by Christmas too, so I'd enjoy "enforced savings" haha.

why do you have a hard time believing that price can go up another 10x in a year? have you never seen bitcoin charts ever?
I don't want to disappoint you Guys as I al also at some point bully about bitcoin but i don't wanna frustrate myself from expecting then fails. Personally, 10x of whatever n price Bitcoin's at has always been as unlikely to happen in either direction. So today, I find it as difficult to see how we could see $3,100 as it is for me to see $310,000. Not that I'm discounting either -- we've got to be naive to think there is such a thing as impossible or even what it means to stretch "reality" in Bitcoin. Best of all, over the next 12 months, 10x in either way works out for me =D

Banks couldn't do it even if they wanted to. Sure, you can have all those derivatives and synthetics or whatever you want to call them, but I think it's gradually becoming clear that market impact is at best, medium-term, and at worst, increasingly temporary or non-evident.
Long term, fundamentals rule, and you can't change the fact of actual supply, actual adoption (through wallet creations and network use).

nope Hamilton didn't win the Fastest lap as Perez pitted in the last couple laps and put on slightly used Soft tires to take The fastest lap point from Hamilton so i don't think you won the special bet on Hamilton.
Yeah you're right. Just found out. Stupid me. I guess I got confused then, because to get the point for fastest lap, you also have to finish in the top 10, and Perez only finished the race in 16th. In fact, him changing to soft tires to get that point was precisely why they made the rules for only Top 10;) But either way, you're right, I just checked and that bonus point didn't go to anyone in Top 10 so ouch for me. Shoulda known that was too good to last =(

Urgh, scoreless draw. Senegal went on to lose the penalties, when a win could really have strengthened their fight for a World Cup place. No worries. We take a longshot parlay with a smattering of friendlies and Scandinavian + Brasileiro, because, why not? 100 units at Sportsbet on Beitar Jerusalem, Hvidovre, Gyeongnam, Napredak, Halmstads, and America FC to WIN @29.62. Other odds: 26.88 Units advantage: 274 Running advantage after 414 bets: +27,718 (+274) All-time cumulative: +66,116 Running units after 413 bets (63W|350L): +11,878 (-200)

The Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model is still validated. There are outliers, always, at which the market tests us and weak hands will shake their hands, capitulate around outliers.
After outlier tests, in order to make us surprised, liquidate gamblers, clean the market, the market will move on a track it should be.
I don't attach images, so please check below resources and see them.
Nice! Wasn't a fan of S2F(x) but gotta say it's longevity's already proven well beyond expectations -- plus I've admitted in past threads I'll be happy if even half of its value predicted end of 2021 comes. I'm definitely on the side that thinks this is a long, drawn-out period of speculator shakeout, gambler liquidation, market purging, agree. I still think the most stubborn ones are still clinging on though, so we could get even better opportunities to stack sats before market returns "on track"!

All's over and Hamilton 1st place, and got the fastest lap time too -- very tight -- so I booked that nice 4/1 Special from Sportsbet -- first major win for me for the last two months, very pleased with myself. Just didn't think it'd be that close to 2nd -- had it over 12 secs from 2nd.
It still took a nasty 1st lap accident, bet you Lewis knew exactly what he was doing there. The only way to stop Verstappen from running away with this race. Wide open now.

I seriously doubt that this actually happens in more than half of such cases, possibly less.
So true! Except, in this case, they actually took a video of the steamrolling (in OP). I didn't count but it looks about right. I know for sure it happens much less with goods and products they can actually use and understand but I think in this case, they actually do see it as evil (I can't explain in details as I might get tagged for inciting hate and stuff heh). Besides S3 is quite old (assuming what @buwaytress said is right), i doubt ROI is possible within short time.
I was just guessing, and basing off the discussions in the groups that circulated this. They were supposed to be really old yeah, but the cost price of electricity isn't so high in that state (assuming cost is below the cheapest rate they sell to residents). But yes, stealing electricity means they make money no matter what, not sure if it'd have been profitable even with cost price power. All the same, an S3 still fetches at least 100 euros. That sum converts to a heck lot of money in Malaysia! @SFR10 ah yeah you're right, white chassis in the video suggests newer models.

Damn, this is looking good for me. I did the Hamilton 4/1 Special (but he also needs to have the fastest lap) and I got Bottas 11/1 (should have taken 12/1 with boost would have been 14/1 maybe!). Hamilton's 10-sec penalty shouldn't do much but he needs to win this race to get the season back on track!
AND my 4-3-free has LeClerc to finish top among the options, so I hope to get something out of this race.

We're still in fearful zone but still it is progressing, and news are Musk will be involve in BTC soon. So pretty much that fearful zone will go worst as the musk incident the past few months leave some scars that people won't forget
So a month of under 20s on that index, and a month of tight range trading between 30-35k. Sounds about right for me. Actually really surprised we're still keeping noses above 30k on the weekend, given all that Grayscale fearmongering. All that plus Musk seems to be ALREADY priced in though, so maybe we're actually already seeing the worst of it? Feels nice to be able to stack sats for so long.

The problem today is that the entire BTC narrative is ran by bullshitters and promoters to keep the ponzi alive, like 99% of the paid comments & posts on this forum by to 'influencers' by scammers;
The majority, yeah, I'd agree. But you're unfairly ignoring the good work done by quite a lot of good, very smart people out there, some even on this forum. I learnt a lot from people I met here, and I've learnt to steer clear away from most of the subforums that aren't Bitcoin. You know what, though? It's not a very different scene than from 20 or 15 years ago with all these digital money ponzis and HYIPs. Don't be mad at Bitcoin, be mad that there's always a scammer out there, and fools are born every minute, so they'll always have plenty to feed on. Digitalise gold and you'll get the gold bugs falling for the same tricks.

So I've been waiting to pull the trigger on Hamilton win, but the odds actually kept getting lower and lower -- and then this special came for him to win AND get fastest lap at 4/1 on Sportsbet.
Of course, that's my money in;) I mean, he's got to try and close the gap right guys?
Bottas tricked me last one, so if he actually wins this today, I'll be gutted to have missed 12/1;)

Ouf Sao Paolo. Unpredictable as ever! Senegal are the underdogs for today's COSAFA cup match but I fancy them, plus a Koln revival for next season starting with preseason, why not? Shall we take a little more risk with double regular unit size? 200 units at Sportsbet on Senegal and Koln to WIN @5.12. Other odds: 5.00 Units advantage: 12 Running advantage after 413 bets: +27,444 (+12) All-time cumulative: +65,842 Running units after 412 bets (63W|349L): +12,078 (-100)

^ Forgot to mention that I did, indeed, rewatch the whole thing on Youtube -- that guy Tim's a riot;) Pretty cool 157 people actually put over $100,000 into that special. Balls of steel and confidence of Buddha or something huh!
It was easy freebet day for whomever joined ClubTalk and got the right answers too, they must have dropped 100s that day alone!
Specials been killing me all weekend, but we did come semi-close with Sao Paolo (who also almost hit Blackjack). Can't wait for August tbh. Bottas today hey!
