7121  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: April 24, 2015, 02:10:35 PM
Goverments cannot control bitcoin, bitcoin is truly decentralized. Internet is decentralized too , but I guess government have control over it by exercising power over ISP that control the backbone.

So what can the ISPs do? Block Bitcoin? It isn't as easy as blocking a website (which is also futile).

None can the ISP do, it is pretty easy to unblock it if you know the way to do that.

It maybe irrelevant but Have you ever thought that alot of country ISP block the adult sites? yet the adult business comes mostly from those country who block it. The same analogic applies to china. Bitcoin transaction is banned there and yet it has the most bitcoin user there

Whether the government can kill bitcoin depends on how much money and debt the "mainstream" system pumps out.

The best scenario will be that they leave it alone rather than exiling something that might possed a threats to the fiat currency

I dont think some no goverment will pay any attention to bitcoin.

No government will pay any attention to bitcoin as It is a decentralized currency which means even the government cant control it. Perhaps not now, but some years later after bitcoin prove itself to be suitable as a currency
7122  Economy / Gambling / Re: NiceHash one-click Blockchain Lottery: play and win full 25 BTC block reward! on: April 24, 2015, 01:55:35 PM
First of all, more or less it is like a solomine and rent the hashes instead of a lottery but It could be called as lottery too

Quote
Each ticket will enable Bitcoin solo mining

Quote
Purchasing ticket creates fixed order with one of the following limited speeds in TH/s (respectively to chances): 5 10 15 25 50 75 100 150 250 500 750 1000

Found that from the site and I happen to have some experiences with nicehash. Limited speeds doesnt actually means that the speed will get the amount we listed. When we listed 100 ths, the speed isnt 100 ths moreover it could be above and below the 100 ths limit.

As for the 1000 ths speed, is it a guarantee that the speed gonna reach 1000 ths despite that some people are renting the hashes too?if not than it is a waste isnt it

The good thing about fiat books is your funds are in a secure place

How is that fiat books are better than bitcoin books? in term of more secure, I doubt fiat transaction is much more secured than bitcoin, as they are the same if the owner decided not to pay you, unless the books use the system of Directbet which is no account needed in this case

In my opinion the anonimity benefits the owner of the gambling site much more than its customers.

How is that it only benefits for the owner? IMO it is Both, the anonimity benefits both player and the owner as bitcoin provided its anonimity not to a selective party but to all user who uses it

LOL
i just got muted by admin for typing !block(i tough there was a way that i can see how many minutes until next confirmation)

There is no way to check on this in PD's chat unless you check it from blockchain to see on it. PD doesnt have the awesome shiba !

begging and spamming not allowed in chat at PD, for how long time you got muted by admin?
if you think that happened by mistaken than you can ask from support Email: support@primedice.com

typing !block is not a begging in this case and typed it once isnt a spam either. So unless he keep on typing that and resulted in a spam, the admin wont mute him.

Code:
!block

That option is only for shiba in bustabit to check on the wether the there is a new block found in the network or not , he might have mistaken it for bustabit
7125  Economy / Services / Re: Need Someone To Count Potential Activity on: April 24, 2015, 12:05:02 PM
I need someone to please count the potential activity of my account.

It would be so nice of you if you do so.

-Rony
Why don't you do it by yourself, the rule is really simple, you have the potential to get 14 point activity every biweekly.
If you did't make more than 14 posts, but make more than 1 post in a biweekly period, you will got the activity point which is the number of your post(N), and the potential is point 14-N, if you didn't make any post in the in biweekly period, the potential is 0.

What he actually means is that his "stacked activity" since you must noticed that his post count is the same with his activity. He is actually asking someone to count the "stacked activity" which is not an easy work since you need to check all his 162 posts if it is posted on the 2 weeks interval or not. This can be done simply if you got the spreadsheet from the past date 2 weeks interval
7126  Economy / Gambling / Re: AllinCrypto.com - Premier Crypto Poker - 23 Crypto's Accepted - Bonus on: April 24, 2015, 04:25:59 AM
I have people I suspect are creating second accounts and playing themselves in the freerolls by using a TOR IP.

This is the one of  the disadvantages of using a webclient as I have previously stated than one person can use up to 4 account from 4 different browser.

On the other, when people do show up for the freerolls, no one ever plays at the ring games and they cash out immediately.

All other poker sites got the same thing, but atleast the number of players from the freerolls could mean that your site is getting the attention.

So they are greatly defeating their purpose as a promotional tool.

You cant expect your freerolls to make its job and bear the fruit in just a few days, constant advertisement by using freerolls is needed. There are alot more popular poker sites which has been established long before you started yours. Killing the freerolls now will only let your sites to bleed slowly to death.
7127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about cryptocurency Gambling sites on: April 24, 2015, 04:09:32 AM
I was reading this article http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-gambling-boom-just-getting-started/ cause I was researching about how gambling and bitcoin works. And ofc I found some older and commercial posts where they said that BTC is perfect for it

It works perfect because it is more simpler than using a fiat to deposit in a gambling sites

After deeper research I found that it's not, cause bitcoin transactions can be tracked back to IP .

Yes it can be tracked back, but it is not an issue since it is pretty easy nowadays to bypass the IP check as they are alot of IP changer application such as hola or simply use VPN

Also some Wallets are closing accounts which are used to gamble

Yes and it is coinbase, if they finds out that your transaction indicate that it is from a gambling activity, your account will be closed, anyway thats not an issue because there are alot more wallet to choose from

My main concern and question is GOV. Can they shut down our gambling sites if for example user from US use it ?

Yes they can, most gambling sites banned player from US, but it doesnt stop the US player to keep gamble because as I have written, there are alot of way to bypass the IP check

Reading about Dashpay i came to conclusion that users will be safe with privacy/anonymity .

Yes it is, its all about anonimity

But again, how to protect myself and website it's self to not get shut down.

Do The same thing the player protect themselves, but it is not a guarantee, as you might be having the officer knocking your frontdoor the next morning.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18106

Perhaps you can ask detail from Micon, since from what I heard, he had the same issue before which makes him changes his poker sites

Sorry but are you taking the signature from 777coins? seems to be an exact copy of their signature and also that there is no difference in the signature for member and full member at the OP

Some tip :

Full member signature can use colour option, you might want to make a bounty for people to fix and get you more attractive signature for the full member signature

We are trying to attract "Higher stakes" players. We have come to conclusion that a majority of the players that have been playing on our site are "free loaders" and these are not the type of players we are trying to attract.

This is not a good sentence to throw in here as you might discouraged people to play at your site, especially coming from the site owner himself  Smiley

the majority of the poker sites here also got more of the freeloaders and not the high stakers. If you wish to attract the high stakers than you will need to earn some trust and attention to your site, as the Swcpoker.eu isnt build in a day or a month either, it takes quite some time for them the be on what they are now .

By doing some freerolls and GTD, you are basically providing a chance for people to try out your sites, gives you some positive vouch and this might attract high stakers in playing in your sites

If you don't like freeloaders just remove the free rolls and the freeloaders will be gone. Smiley Simple solution

If he do this, then less people will be playing here and might make a negative impact to the sites.

My definition of a "free loader" is those that come to play the freerolls only, then withdrawal once they hit the minimum withdrawal limit. I am by no means trying to disrespect players, just stating facts.

We will continue to provide freerolls to give players a chance to try out the site.

We realize we are still new and are willing to what is needed to build good reputation.

There is no need of a different "nickname" for those type of player, whoever playing at your site are called as "player" no matter he is a high stakers or a freeloader. Giving such nickname might discourage some people to play.

Despite that, it is pretty common that those people are more attracted to freerolls indeed. Having some number of player of the freerolls actually means that your site are getting attention. Dont let the number of this "freeloaders" discourage you

PS : those who keep on using faucet in a dice sites probably called as faucet licker  Wink

Does your site has freerolls?

I'm sorry but I do not understand why this question constantly gets asked. The information is in the OP and on our website.

But yes, we do currently have 3mBTC Hourly Freerolls running.

Because some people tends to left out the OP and goes straight back to the last page . It is pretty normal here that most people tend to only read the last post or so

perhaps you can change the title of this thread to

Quote
BitcoinPoker.gg - High Stakes. High Rewards - Secure Bitcoin Poker | 3mbtc HOURLY FREEROLLS |

and also there is a slight error on OP as it is written as 2mbtc hourly freerolls instead of 3, you can also make the below text bigger so that people can notice that you have a hourly freerolls

Quote

You're right, feels kinda weird and absurd that the current title is high stakes, high reward.

The high stakes , high rewards is  a slogan of the sites and most sites good their own slogan too, I find it catchy for their slogan, although for now the sites doesnt stand as its slogan, probably due to the sites is still new and there are only still a few people playing there currently, however they will be soon make the sites to reach out their slogan if they keep on operating this sites in a good pace  Wink
7133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: April 23, 2015, 04:04:32 PM
I never profit from primedice. Sad

Gambling sites isnt build so that everyone can get a free money , this is a wrong mindset of most newbie gambler that they thought that they could get a quick and easy money just by gambling. if it so than no one would have to work again, clearly a wrong mindset.

It is impossible to profit from dice site unless you are lucky.
Even then you would lose it all after some time with the house edge.

Im confused. if you are lucky ofcourse you will profit. If not then you will not. Its really imposible to profit if you are not lucky. Do you know anyone that lose if he's lucky? lol

Shanem's post actually stands for a different meaning if you read them thoroughly as I read it, both of shanem's post above actually means like something below, or at least this is what I assume he is writing about

Quote
Only lucky guy can get a "profit" from a dice sites but eventhough no one can stay in luck forever , so playing on a long terms will get you burned by the house edge

BTW, one question, can we see rollover progress in account page?

rollover? dont you mean the wagered progess for this? No there isnt any feature to see the wagered percentage in your account page.

Unlike other sites which needs you to achieve 100 % before you can withdraw or get the bonus , in fortunejack you can get even the smallest amount after you wagered them

i.e if you depositted 10,000 doges you will get 10,000 doges with the requirement to wager to 300,000

300,000 / 10,000 = 30 : 1 which means each times you wagered up 30 doges you will gain 1 doge instantly . Of course each game got its own wagered contribution but the math stands the same, 30 doges wagered then you can claim 1 doge instantly

What a hero...Bullshitting Cloudminr.io since 5 months by sending them bad publicity and calling them thiefs to hope one day to say to everyone ; I TOLD YOU SO

Rather I would say that those trashing cloudminr including me were those who wanted to share a two sided opinion so that people can know the risk rather than investing in cloudminr blindly

I almost got my ROI and still continue to make business with Cloudminr.

Congratulations, but still the fact that even if you reach your ROI, after they "stop" their service, there will be always someone who will get burned, not everyone can reach ROI in this kind of shady business, that is why I wanted to share my opinion which is a fact from my experiences

7137  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can Cloud Mining be Good??????? on: April 23, 2015, 09:27:49 AM
Ok, so I'm new here obviously.  I keep reading about people saying how Cloud Mining is Garbage and trashing it.

Not all cloudmining is a "garbage" , some are legit but that is not a proof that they will be there forever. Not garbage actually, we use the word "ponzi" here

He has a formula and I've looked into the numbers and they seem legit.

There are no formula in a cloudmining business to proof that there are legit. The solid fact that they are not ponzi will be their mining address which alot of ponzis cloudmining doesnt provide

I'm seriously thinking about doing it

Please no, we dont need another ponzi cloud mining, unless you can proof that you are not ponzi by providing some data like the mining address

What should I be leary of or looking for?

You should be looking for this one, If you can provide the data as per asked by that than People can assume you are not ponzi

Thank you!

You are welcome !

i don't like the layout of the site, very superficial look but my main issue is the amount of lag i encountered
defiantly better sites available ..
why you don't like the layout? their layout is great i guess

with different concept than other dice website

i never seen dice site like this before Wink
in what way is it better than other ?

First of all, dadice is taking a deposit and withdrawal of alot of altcoin using an integration with shapeshift.io. So this enable you to play here with your altcoin.
Secondly, You are going to love the faucet system. Faucet system is using a level up system which enable you to gain higher amount of free satoshis if you hit another level. You can check the levels on the site. You gain one point for each bet you made and also one point for each of your chat
