7122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with Bitcoin on: September 01, 2013, 10:37:23 AM
Tor Broker doesn't look very safe. They can run away with your BTC any time and they will probably never get caught.

7125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy large amounts of bitcoin? on: September 01, 2013, 10:33:21 AM
Buy from local bitcoins, from a few sellers (or 1 seller if he has enough BTC)
7126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people still using gox when there is no way to withdraw on: September 01, 2013, 10:31:53 AM
They probably like to live their lives dangerously.
7127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Plausibility of Syria strike ? on: September 01, 2013, 10:30:21 AM
CIA probably did the Chemical attack to give der Führer Obama reason to start war with Syria.

I think the CIA is working for the president (at least in the US)
7128  Other / Meta / Re: A bitcoin ponzi scheme scam ADVERTISED on bitcointalk.org ?? WHY??? on: September 01, 2013, 10:26:15 AM
It could be just a scam and not a ponzi. I don't think many people have even purchased his 3x bitcoin.
People has and got 3x coins back, for now.

Did they wait 3 years? Or was it 3x btc in 3 days?

This will also remove the RAT (hopefully).

I agree with this also. It can take a long time to scroll and find the post you are looking for.
7131  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: September 01, 2013, 10:23:15 AM
No they aren't, Valve still has steam, when they get rid of steam and the online requirements then they'll be doing it right, Valve fanboism annoys me >_< Tongue, oh and they ruined Team Fortress 2 by making it all about stupid hats and collectable items, you're right about game developers just being in it for money, but don't make the mistake a lot of people make of thinking Valve is exempt from this.

All companies are in it for the money. At least their games haven't gone to shit like EA's.

Maybe relevant? http://www.computerandvideogames.com/262497/valve-refuses-to-sell-out-on-stock-market/
I noticed EA tried to fix their rep with the Humble Origin bundle.

It didn't work. Did you see the new Sim City? Or Madden? Or any other new EA game?
Corporate greed at its finest :-)

Go see a psychologist.
7133  Other / Off-topic / Re: b!z on: September 01, 2013, 10:21:22 AM
I don't see the problem tbh...

Yeah, me neither.
Me neither, he just said what he saw and if he's not lying (which apparently he isn't) then if you want him to silence the truth, you have to give him something in exchange.
Silence his opinion?
If you're going to comment on something, please be sure you fully understand what really happened.

Fixed that for ya. I'm sure mprep understands the issue enough. It's not too complicated. :-)
7134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Suprise on: September 01, 2013, 10:19:11 AM
Did you generate your wallet on android? Some pc browsers also created weak addresses that were hacked. Do some searching to see if your address was on the list.

You should also think about whether or not your phone has malware installed. If it doesn't have spyware, then was the SMS intercepted?
7135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbies use this opportunity on: September 01, 2013, 10:18:07 AM
It will be hard for newbie, because they can't send pm and can't post in that forum.
It would be better if the guy just gave the link in the thread, and did not ask for pm.

Like that, anyone would be able to participate and ask him on facebook for reward

he is buying votes, so he probably doesn't want the world to know :-)
7136  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Bitcoins by PayPal on: September 01, 2013, 10:15:32 AM
i can do this. i want to buy 3.5 btc.

conditions: you send first or through reputable escrow, you cover escrow fees, i cover moneypak fees. greendot moneypaks can be directly creditted to your paypal account.

if we don't do escrow, you send first and i send you moneypak quickly. i have good reputation here, on d2jsp and bitmit so you know you are dealing with a trustworthy trading partner.

Moneypak is not available in Canada iirc.
7137  Economy / Services / Re: Selling quality web traffic for BTC - 0.01 for 2000 visits! on: September 01, 2013, 10:14:38 AM

7138  Economy / Services / Re: http://giftcardbtc.com - Amazon Giftcards - at cost all weekend! on: September 01, 2013, 10:14:04 AM
Do you accept escrow for big amounts?
7139  Economy / Services / Re: Need USA citizen to do 1 hour work near computer for 2 btc on: September 01, 2013, 10:13:15 AM
I get 2btc + the value of cards from you. I order and pay for prepaid debit cards, providing my personal information. You use them for your purposes. I see a potentially painful problem here.

maybe he gives his info to sign up? i don't think there are many illegal things to do with prepaid debit cards :-)
7140  Economy / Services / Re: FreeBitCoin on: September 01, 2013, 10:12:15 AM
Very nice software!
Could you do a Mac OS X version?

I think it is similar to online faucets. Probably the OP wanted to try something different, or he doesn't know how to create websites.
