7121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: January 08, 2017, 05:38:56 AM
In my opinion, it would fall down, and it would totally lose value.
of course, because that makes a request bitcoin up almost entirely of spending. so when there is no spending. I'm afraid bitcoin will die
but I thought it would never happen in the near future

It makes no sense. If no one spend Bitcoin the demand probably would be higher than the supply, so the BTC price would increase until someone sell their Bitcoins to keep the market moving. When you are spending Bitcoins you are moving the market, making the life continue and creating possibilities of new events (increases and decreases in the price).
I don't agree with your explanation, we spend because we want to increase the circulation and to increase the demand as well. What is the reason of holding when bitcoin will not be spend anyway? I guess you need to understand when bitcoin will not be supported by us, it will die because we dictate the value its value.
7122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2017, 05:22:49 AM
People should use bitcoin so it become world standard. We don't want banksters and goverment any more
If there's no government there will be no law and there's chaos everywhere, I'm sure we all want to live a peaceful world so let's have the government for the benefit of all. Maybe we get benefits in using bitcoin but in general people are still in trust with the banking system as they are more secured than bitcoin, why can't we just use both and be happy on it.
7123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum Amount To Start Trading? on: January 08, 2017, 03:10:37 AM
I will be using LocalBitcoins, if I have 0.5 BTC I can sell up to 85% of that in my own advert then the rest on another person's advert. Is there a way to make a profit this way? Or is 0.5 simply not enough to start with?
Yep. That is pretty big to start trading but just put in to your mind that you can loss in trading luck and skill can make you a large profit. I will suggest that you can deposit 0.001 first to know the system of trading and how it will work. Just for one week know all about trading and then deposit the 0.5 bitcoin to formally start your trading. I hope you will make q large profit from it Smiley happy trading!

Starting from small amount while you are still learning will be good. Actually there is no mandatory minimum amount, whatever you have you can use, but properly. BTC 0.50 is quite enough if you have that much only, and personally its a large amount for me.

… just be sure you can afford the 0.5 BTC.  If things go terribly wrong and you lose all that money it should not bring you in trouble with your normal life!  That's very important. Many beginners try to beat the market with way too much money and hope they'll get millionaires within days by just doing the right trades.  And in the end:  the market won.  Never risk more money you can lose.  And read about money management.

//alex
To start trading that means you are just a beginner, I believe half of a bitcoin is already a huge amount to start. I say this because we do not have th experience yet, and IMO it's advisable to start at a very least minimum and later when you learn and you feel you can already predict the market correctly, then that's the time to start with a decent amount of money and treat it as your job.
7124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy really large BTC amounts? on: January 08, 2017, 02:50:34 AM
It is a matter of trust, There are many people who buy it like that but only with the most trusted trader.
Most of the exchanges will ask for ID proof when you want to do transactions that big, you can proceed if you are buying legit way. Smiley

Like what you are telling about matter of trust to give ID proof to the exchanges to buy bulk quantity of bitcoins, then
it should be more cautiously do transaction in exchanges with this huge of buying as some of the exchanges can block the account after they get enough fiat currency .

So it is always to use a reputed exchange where high transaction are going on.
If you are dealing with a reputable exchange they wont run away with your funds if its not illegal funds or hacked money. It is really possible to buy really large amount of bitcoins from exchanges but certain exchanges does have a daily limit depositing fiats apart from that it is quite possible.
Exactly, they are always protecting their reputation as that is important to them to stay in the business. Just to make sure to minimize the risk, you can buy from different exchange sites but never put all your bitcoins in a certain sites, the risk of being hack is possible and we have already witness that kind of incident in the past.
7125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: January 08, 2017, 02:28:39 AM
both, gambling makes my life more enjoyable comfort

Thats just so weird, unless you keep on winning which is impossible then how would you keep an " enjoyable comfort " life? I wonder what the heck with losing money in gambling that makes you really enjoy yourself however if it is only dust amount then I can agree with it but then again whats the point of gambling with only a few cents?
He was just saying based on his experience, maybe he is one of the professional gamblers in this world who could constantly make money and live life comfortably with it. I believe one can do it although most of us don't as we do not have the skills to make gambling as our way of making ourselves rich. Personally, I have no luck in gambling but despite of that, I still enjoy doing it because I just lose a tolerable amount.
7126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: January 07, 2017, 05:54:39 AM
i cant treat like greedy , i control my feeling , and always play with small amount , i always win
to me my strategy is very simple. i like to play gambling in limit and never try to cross that limit.
Well, that's good, you are betting what you can afford. If all the gamblers can do that then I'm sure we would not hear any complaints now that saying they have been robbed by gambling and gambling is rigged. Limiting your bet is the best option you can do since the advantage does not favor on us, thinking to win is just normal but being realistic is a sign that you are a smart gambler.
7127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: January 07, 2017, 05:20:56 AM
That's what gamblers do so that we will be able to gamble in smarter way. We can just simply start with small amount as we play so that we will be able to afford if we lose. And if you have already enough wins then stop to gamble for that day and for another day to come and start again just repeat what you did.
For me, if you play today for a couple of your money then stop and then play again for tomorrow, I think it will also have same result, because it is just the same, you are also using your money and playing gambling everyday can make you more addicted in gambling, don't be so serious about gambling, just play occasionally.
to me make a good strategy for your gambling and then follow that strategy strongly and never try to cross that strategy and only then you can make money in gambling and that is the smartest way of making money.
I don't think so, because not all strategy work, for me, playing gambling with a small bets is better than playing gambling with high amount in just one game. Try to play couple of gambling games and use couple of your money. Don't bet all your money in just one game so you can also enjoy gambling.
Of course , Dont bet all of your bitcoins on one roll , there should be a higher chance of losing when you bet it all kn one time.

Small profits on small bets is better safer than big bets with big profits , It is always depending on your capital and your guts. On how you will play a gambling game
The risk is still the same, in fact the more you stay your chances lessen. You want to play longer because you want to enjoy, and since this game is solely based on your luck, one roll would be good to determine if you are lucky or not, regardless of the outcome you quit. Just hope you win, so you can end your day with a smile.
7128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: January 07, 2017, 02:48:41 AM
To ensure some sort of centralisation never happen, the best way is still to spread the hashrate concentration to multiple new pools. I guess since there is more and more people coming into the game, and a lot more will come I think because of the price rise, actions will never have to be taken.
I doubt that will happen. The Chinese seem really persistent on controlling the Bitcoin mining industry. I think that something really big has to be done if we want Bitcoin to stay as a decentralized currency. And I don't see many more people getting into the Bitcoin mining business because the Chinese look like such a dominant force.
but i do not thing that it will ever happen, hope that in future the government also have to accept bitcoin as an anonymous character because of the pressure of the people on governments.
bitcoin system will not be changed. bitcoin will always be decentralized although the government requested to be converted into centralization it would never happen. forever bitcoin will be anonymous and decentralized #imo
Exactly, and I believe no one of us will want to change the system. Bitcoin is freedom because of it's decentralization, if it will be centralized, it's not bitcoin anymore but it's the government trying to control everything. We should protect bitcoin by continue supporting it as in the future, it can help a lot of people to benefit from using it as investment or currency or both.
7129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: January 07, 2017, 02:10:32 AM
The first difference between the two is Real money hardly gains value as compared to bitcoin which has growing potential everyday{*900}
.
Secondly the obvious money has a physical form and is controlled by a government while bitcoin on the other hand is decentralised and exists in a digital form.

Yeah and I see bitcoins is superior to fiat or real money in all ways except the fact that bitcoins are not accepted worldwide yet. The day when BTC starts getting accepted worldwide we would see a total dominance of BTC over cash.
People will soon start using Bitcoin in the future. I believe so. As Bitcoin prices are really really high, there will be more adoption on this planet and more merchant will use Bitcoin as an option for customers to buy and sell things. Bitcoin certainly have the bright future. It has more advantages than FIAT. Therefore, I agree to what you say Cheesy
The price of bitcoin in recent days again begins to please, but I still stand by that opinion that every currency should take its place. Therefore, real money, too, have a right to exist.
Real money is more important than bitcoin, there is not certainty with bitcoin, the price rise abruptly then suddenly it falls back as what we have witness now. I just hope it will not continue to fall big, so we can still have a wonderful year this 2017.

People think bitcoin is a good investment and I agree with that but let's be practical, can we(end users) use bitcoin without converting it to fiat?
7130  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: January 06, 2017, 10:58:47 PM
Just woke up and was surprised to see some actions here, I just want to say something as a member, Alex is right we need to treat this as a job and like in real life "The manager is always right", the fact that we are working under a private owned business, we need to comply with their rules no matter what, as long as we do not break the forum rules which I think the most important.

I never had a problem with this week's payment as prior to joining this campaign I have already been monitoring any rules changes to measure if I can quality and have seen BoXXoB posted about not allowing burst posting, and since he is the manager he reserves the right to determine if that post/s will be counted.

Good day! hope any issues will be clear so we can continue this campaign with a good relationship among each other to make it successful.
7131  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 100BTC MAX WIN, WAGERING CONTEST! 1ST PRIZE 1 BTC ENDS JAN 2ND on: January 04, 2017, 09:17:12 AM
I play a lot here, do you have plan to add sportsbook? If you are bigger and bigger, I hope you should add it.
Everyone will prefer development hence bitdice also will be adding more types of different gambling to cover and serve all gamblers. Yes, you can expect adding up sportsbook to happen in near future to make bitdice as a versatile gambling house.

I like to hear owners opinion on this...

Imho this is something not for the time being.
i am also sure that Bitdice team are aware of this and perhaps don't want to go in to this gambling section.

Ofc their opinion is the most appropriate... Cool

Yeah, I haven't heard any mentions of sports gambling for BitDice. They are definitely planning on adding other casino games such as blackjack and roulette, etc and I think those are higher priority for now. Perhaps sometime in the future, sports betting may be available but I don't see this coming any time soon.
Another casino had sportsbetting but took it down and never had it up there since. But they kept saying their would be an update with it returning but it never did.
I think it was mbit or bitcasino.
So I don't think it would be in bitdice's best interest to look into this route.
Well, to have a variety of games in one gambling site will help to attract more players, I believe adding sports betting in a site would help and what happen to other sites is not because they are hit by high rollers but that is due to lack of marketing and their income cannot cope up with their expenses. Bitdice is popular and getting more, so it's a great upgrade having that idea in place.
7132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 04, 2017, 09:08:24 AM
Since the price of bitcoin is rising per day it is a really risky en devour to purchase the coin at this moment but for everyone who get hold of the coins earlier they can diversify it in investing in the major coins which have higher volumes and higher valuation. In short trading is the best way to invest your coins.
Well i think it is not risky if you are not believing in the price increase you can get the price benefits for now i was same to you when the price is 700 usd  last december.. but i am wrong to say that its risky to buy in that time.. now i realized that it is always good to buy bitcoins because the price is unpredictable and i think the price will increase more because more companies and people are using bitcoin. .
Yeah man , i remeber when bitcoin price was about 500$ and then i said that bitcoin will decrease more and i did not belived in it , now i realise what a stupid i was because now bitcoin price doubled from that time
That is because we do not see the future, when some profit with the price, others also regretted now not to buy. I am it's not over yet, we can still make profit as the price seems to continue to rise.
I also regret not buying when the price was $500. And that was because the price was dropping and most people thought it was going to keep going down. Now, the price is really high and investing now might not be the right choice.
Well, it already happened man, you have to move on now. Check the price is increasing, maybe you can buy a little so you will not regret again once you sell the current price to double in the future again. You know what? we are here to earn but we cannot earn if we do not take the risk, at least here we have people who can share their thoughts and from what I heard, majority of us are still optimistic the price will rise more.
7133  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: January 04, 2017, 08:46:32 AM
If bitcoin fell to said $100 something dramatic must have happened. At that point I would probably lose quite a bit of faith in bitcoin. I'd prefer not to see it go there even though it would obviously be a good buying point.
First I think it is impossible that the price will fell down so low, but if it happed I think not only your but almost all the people who love bitcoin will also lose their faith on bitcoin. i think most of the people will move to other crypto currencies and most of them will even stop trading bitcoin as well as other crypto currencies.
That would possibly be the scenario in the future, when the price fall that hard people will doubt on the future success of bitcoin, some may buy but it will not guarantee that is the lowest price since there's a possibility it will fall below $100 depending on the gravity of crisis it will face.

In the end, we still hope this will survive so we can still trade and make profit.

What I have mentioned is the worst case scenario and hope it will not happen.
7134  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 03, 2017, 05:12:34 AM
The future of the paper money will be get rid of waste bin and then nobody knows anything about it.
Cryptocurrency will replace it and become a central digital currency for payment, purshase and storage.

Your confidence  is not back with reliable information, how would it replace paper money when currently only a little percentage of the worlds population are the users of bitcoin while we all use paper money. To reach that level of success is almost impossible, bitcoin might be the future of crypto currency but definitely not the future of money.
7135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 03, 2017, 05:04:30 AM
It can be profitable on a long term but but most likely this will not happen because its just luck you need.
Luck is something you always need at gambling but mostly is not guaranteed of course.
The most people will also lose a lot of money on a long term, this is in most cases in my opinion.

Gambling on a long term and profitable is in my eyes not possible.
You just make a contradicting statement, gambling may not be profitable for you in the long run but it's possible to be profitable for some gamblers who are good enough, being profitable in the long run is not already done because of luck but because of skills and skills will give you consistent will which would give you profit in the long run.
7136  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: January 03, 2017, 04:40:33 AM
100-500 bitcoin would be enough for me to become millionaire after 5 years because i can use those massive amount of bitcoin on investments that can generate passive income and help me to grow those bitcoins monthly or annually. I think after 5 years we can see the stable price of bitcoin on a 4 digit $ and i think that 100-500 would be enough to become millions of dollar.

At the current rate of rise, it is about 125% per year, so in 5 years it will be $60,000 each. So we need 16 bitcoin.
If we can see a consistent increase it will happen but we do not see the future so we must be conservative with our prediction. Being conservative means we must not be too aggressive with our prediction and we use a mathematical analysis with it, at the moment, it's still best to continue to save bitcoins consistently and do not focus more on the price of bitcoin to rise as big as such.
7137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2017, 01:51:22 AM
long confirmation times and inability to reverse mistakes
The inability to reverse your payment is just a disadvantage to the people that are careless. Once you send the payment, that's it. Before you click the "Send" button, make sure that you have input the correct details. To me, that's actually an advantage of bitcoin. When you received the coins, you can sleep at night without worrying about your buyer trying to revert back his payment.
You can only blame yourself for doing such stupid mistake while sending funds online. inability to reverse mistakes only happens to someone just like you who does not have the ability to read and check carefully before confirming something.
Some could make a mistakes once but we must be careful for the next time, further the non reversible  transaction could also be a disadvantage to some but for the majority it is one of the advantage of using bitcoin. That is the security that once we receive the funds after every completion of transaction, we are secured enough that it will not be taken again from us.
7138  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: January 03, 2017, 01:22:05 AM
You should not sell bitcoins on this moment, if you wan to sell them so bad you should wait a couple months and see what the halving is gonna do.
If the halving is good you will make a lot of profit if this is not the point you will most likely makr normal profit.
So what I could consider is waiting a couple months.
yes i am also no welling to sell bitcoin currently, because to me i think the price of bitcoin can go some more high therefore the best decision will be hold it and not to sell it right now.
IT could go high, wait for the right timing. The price is still rising and it's a positive sign that you can earn more profit if you hold longer. My advise to you is if possible you can buy more and hold still, just do it now. I would not be surprise if by the end of this month we will surpass the all time high.

Those who believe shall be rewarded, that's the game here, stay focus and keep your faith with bitcoin.
7139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 03, 2017, 01:12:33 AM
Cleveland Cavaliers vs New Orleans Pelicans : Bet for Cleveland to win .

I bet also for Cleveland for this game and it is now on the go. Just an update as of now 2nd quarter 5:25 remaining the score is 35-33 in favor of Pelicans. The pelicans are showing good performance for this game but still it is a long run before the end of this game. I hope my prediction will be right for this that Cavs will get this game.
If you were able to hammer the moneyline, you have a big chance to win in this game although the game is close but in the 2nd half the cavaliers will show their talent. What I am worried about Cleveland Cavaliers against a weak opponent, most of the time the opponent covered although they win.

Hope this time has another result so you will win if you bet on the point spread also.
7140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: January 02, 2017, 10:12:17 AM
Its best to start trading when the price of bitcoins is low because it will then rise while if you start trading when price is high then it might go down too.
Not certainly, the definition of low and high is trading is base on our evaluation of the current market. We have different interpretation on how the price will rise of course, so if you feel the current price is still has more room to grow then it's always a good timing to buy.

Never doubt your skills and follow others blindly, success does not happen overnight but one thing I can say it choose the best asset which is bitcoin.
