Einspruch 
Ich hab mir die Tage als Multibit 0.5.18 Benutzer mal Multibit HD installiert und da gibts diesen Knopf bereits nicht mehr, private keys zu importieren, oder ich Dussel habe ihn nur nicht gefunden 
Da meine Auszahladressen in den meisten Pools gelocked sind, müsste ich mir die Erträge dann immer von einem "alten" client an eine von Multibit HD generierte neue Adresse schicken. Na dann kann ich auch gleich bei der alten Version bleiben, solange sie noch unterstützt wird 

Hab das Update auf 0.11.0 bereits am Samstag gemacht
Die bitcoin.conf auch gleich mit um die empfohlenen Settings ergänzt

Really thanks for the good work! Have updated all my S3 and S3+ to the latest version and running stable for more than 24h now  
Better infos on status page, hw errors have dropped 0.0047% and the system load is also reduced 0.62 0.61 0.65

Just had a thought about selling my 2 remaining New-RBoxes these days but now I will wait a little longer and watch this thread

Der "kleine" läuft seit des letzten Updates auf 0.10.2 über 30 Tage ununterbrochen mit max 40 Verbindungen. RAM-Verbrauch aktuell bei 708 MB, SWAP 0MB.
Mag mit den Stresstests und den 80 Verbindungen zusammenhängen, das er vorher am SWAP geknabbert hatte nach rund 14 Tagen.

Once the miner is running I can do everything with him what I want to do except of turning off the PSU.
Everbody say that it makes no sense and I have to agree but it is like it is!
I have given up on it...thanks to anybody for the kind help.

Exactly this is the point of attention!!! -> The miner won't boot without these connection <-
Once he starts booting (green light on the miner network plug appears) I can remove the USB/Serial connection and all is working flawlessly until I turn off the PSU again...

Yeah looks like this miner is unique  
Tomorrow evening Im going to remove all screws inside and hopefully I can see something whats maybe wrong with him. Until there Im sure he will do a pretty good job for me  

Jo langsam glaube ich das auch das der Miner komisch ist 
Habe es mit 2 Netzteilen probiert, kann den Fehler jederzeit nachstellen! Ohne genügend "Masse" bootet er nicht.
Im offiziellen S3 Supportthread habe ich es auch gepostet und dort hat auch niemand eine Erklärung 
Hatte den Miner gestern abend in den Keller gebracht und "Starthilfe" gegeben, seit dem werkelt er munter vor sich hin. Morgen werde ich nochmal die restlichen Schrauben lösen und schauen, ob evtl irgend etwas sichtbar ist.

The Network is set to a free fixed IP but even dhcp is possible. Im 100% sure it has nothing to do with the network adress, because if I power up the miner without the "Better Ground-Contact" he is simply not booting

Hey guys thanks that you try to help me!
I owe you some more details:
In the moment the miner is working since 22 hours together with my other miners. I have full access to him over the webinterface. Better to say: He is working 100% like any other miner, I have yesterday even changed the firmware to the latest from 9.1.2015.
If the miner is up one time, he is running well!
But the problem appears when Im turning off while unplug/turn off the PSU
Without the contact (say stand-alone) to my PC or Netbook (that must be powered from the wall !!! too) he is not be able to start again.
So to me as a non expert it looks like there is not enough Power-Ground. But this little connection from the serial ports with a other device powered by circuit is the little bit that is needed to start.
Once it started and the network led on the miner becomes green I can remove the serial connection and keepit running.

With less words: If the miner is running I can do all the things I want, even reboot, flashing new firmware,make changes in pooll settings...all works like it should be.
But to make the miner start up he needs the "starting help" otherwise there is only the red LED of death

I have already written this in the german section but hopefully somebody here can help me further with my little problem?
I got an used Antminer S3+ wich only comes up with a red flashing LED in front + shining red LED on the Board + 1 second spinning fans after powering on the PSU.
Inspired that this could be only a software/bootloader Problem I bought a USB-Serial adapter that arrives yesterday.

I plugged the rx/tx into the serial connection on the board from the antminer and the usb plug into my PC. After opening putty and power on the PSU I saw nothing but an empty putty window but the antminer started to work like normal  

I unplugged the usb-serial cable and the miner still works like usual but after powering down the PSU and restart it the miner comes up again only with the flashing red LED....
OK, plug again the rx/tx cables into the board and the usb into my PC = The miner starts like before to work!

Long story...but after all it seems to me that I have a ground problem and this little connection between the miner and my PC during start up of the miner solves it!
Have double check this with my Netbook and a second PSU: If I have only the connection between miner and Netbook nothing comes up but if I plug my netbook thru the wall the miner starts as usual.
Powered on this way the miner just works since yesterday evening
Can somebody give me a hint to solve this maybe little problem?

So er lebt wieder...aber nur unter bestimmten Umständen  
Mein USB Serial Adapter ist heute gekommen. Nachdem ich den wie in der Anleitung angesteckt hatte, schaute ich leider auf ein schwarzes Putty Fenster beim Start. Keine Meldungen noch sonst etwas...aber...auf einmal startet der Miner wieder durch und fängt an zu arbeiten !! Ok dann mal die Serial Verbindung ab und ein paar Tests:
- Ca 30 min laufen lassen= Alles problemlos
- Mal einen Soft-Reboot machen lassen= Problemlos
- Firmware aktualisiert, auf die letzte vom 9. Januar = Problemlos

Ok dachte ich mir, schraubst den Deckel wieder zu, läuft ja! Also alles abgezogen, Deckel drauf und ab mit dem Miner in den Keller.
Stecker rein = NUR ROTE LED!

Miner wieder abgebaut, Deckel ab, Netzeilt ran, eingeschaltet = NUR ROTE LED
Hmmm...zum testen RX/TX vom USB Serial an den Miner angeschlossen, Netzeil an = NUR ROTE LED
OK, dann schließen wir den USB Serial mal an den PC an, RX/TX am Miner angesteckt =  Der Miner startet ganz normal und LÄUFT WIEDER

Habe das dann ein paar mal wiederholt:
Mit dem PC verbunden über den Adapter, startet er jedes mal als wenn nichts ist. Ziehe ich das Kabel vor dem Start des Miners aus dem PC, blinkts nur rot!
Kann mir das jemand erklären?

Tante EDIT: Es funktioniert ebenfalls nur wenn der PC/Laptop bei der Starthilfe im Stromnetz steckt...das klingt ja schon fast nach einem Masseproblem..bin kein Elektriker!

Jo so siehts aus, einen der Threads habe ich auch eben gefunden und überflogen. Mein Problem ist, das ich nicht löten kann! Auf einigen Fotos sind "Stecker" zu sehen die evtl in die Löcher auf dem Board passen und wie nennt man diese?
Ich wette das ich bestimmt das "volle Programm" vor mir habe und per TFTP die Firmware neu einspielen muß

danke für Deine Antwort, aber ich komme gar nicht erst so weit das das Netzwerk läuft!
Wie schon geschrieben, fängt der Miner gar nicht erst an zu booten, es blinkt einfach nur die rote LED permanent. Ich habe mal bei einem anderen S3+ geschaut. Wenn der Strom bekommt, blinken alle LEDs beim Bootvorgang und dann fangen die Lüfter an zu drehen.
Ich habe fast das Gefühl, als wenn Bootloader/Firmware zerschossen ist, habe mit sowas aber keine Erfahrung.
Das drücken des Resetknopfes bewirkt ebenfalls, egal wie ich es gemacht habe, keinerlei Veränderung am Zustand 

Antpool zahlt ebenfalls jeden Tag, aber die Hashrate ist da in den letzten Tagen "mal eben" von knapp 60 auf meiste Zeit über 70PH gestiegen.
Dann werden die Kuchenstückchen halt kleiner
