hallo guys, i am new to trading btc. and days before the bitcoin gold fork, i was advice to sell my btc (which i did) because it was suspected to drop in price few days to come. But surprisingly, from then till this very moment, btc has been on a continuous rise. now btc is at $7000+ and we are getting close to the next fork in mid-nov. DO YOU GUYS ADVICE I BUY BACK BTC AT THIS CURRENT PRICE OR WAIT for a possible drop in price?
It depends on you because you are the one who will make decision. But my advise to you is to buy bitcoins now. The value of the bitcoin today is rapidly increasing so it is better to have bitcoins today. Much better to hodl it instead of selling it. There is no doubt in our mind that bitcoin is really a good thing to hold for longer term because the price is going to break new ATH again. However, for those who are in it for short term, then you can also sell it if you think that the profit is really good for you. No right or wrong move in bitcoin, although I prefer it for the long haul for the reasons above. |

You should get it now, don't wait till the price go lower because it ain't gonna happened. Bitcoin is fast rising and you don't want to miss the opportunity. And I just hope that you did buy it before when the price is below $6000 because by this time you have already looking at profit. However, if you didn't get you can still enter today at $6500 tomorrow we may see the price even higher and you will regret your decision not to buy today. |

Bitcoin price might have crossed $9000 by this time as its price was surging high until it reached $7,788 soon after CME announced launch of bitcoin futures.But due to FUD in the market and BCH being pumped very high and at the same time,miners shifting from bitcoin to mine BCH,its price dropped near $6,115.But very soon ,it recovered and now its price is $6,702.If this bullish trend continues,bitcoin might easily cross $10,000 by this year end.
Oh well, we sure crossed $9000 by now by when segwit2x get cancelled and followed by the ensuing drama, bitcoin drops but have recovered already. For the new ATH, I think its fairly to say that $8000 should be the target the first. And I just hope that this recovery will be followed by another bullrun. Let forget about BCH for now and just stick to bitcoin so that we can have a good price at the end of 2017. |

For me, i would still keep my job while trading, up until the amount i gain from.trading surpasses the amount of my salary three times or four times more, in order to keep more focus on trading. If you still have a job, do not.just throw it away and go to ttadig, even if you put a lot of investment in it, there is a saying "do not kill the goose that lays the golden egg", time will come that your goose will be replaced, and will give much more, we just need to make time and dl not rush things.
But it is really difficult if we would just rely on trading itself. Its not stable and we don't know how much we are going to profit let say per day. As opposed to a regular job that we are paid every 2 weeks or 1 month. I will still go with my regular job as my main source of income and just try if I have the time. Don't quit your regular job, just do trading like 3 days only if you have the time and money. |

Questions though, how did you know that they sold off your bch?
They show on the history balance that they transferred xxx euro's into my bank account. Hopefully it shows up in my bankaccount tomorrow. Ok I guess you need to wait at least 3-5 business day. Maybe they are checking out if everything is ok. But nevertheless, I hope that this is the last time you deal with this exchanges. I'm sure that you will find a lot more trusted that them. Warning about litebit.eu
I sold 1 bch (to my bankaccount) and unfortunately my wallet had not enough bch.
So I transferred 0.999999 to them.
They automatically put the transfer on hold to check it manually and sold the bch many hours later for a price that was much lower than the price I anticipated.
I called them on a real phone (waited for 25 minutes) and they told me their method was written in their small prints (and not in their faq). Seller beware!
Also their security was breached twice this year! All customer information and data was stolen.

Hey there, I don't used litebit. eu. And the way you put, its looks like a scam that they have pulled off. Questions though, how did you know that they sold off your bch? Thanks for the warning though, its red flag for me. And I'm sorry to hear your lost, that why everyone here says that we should only exchange to a trusted site. I haven't heard litebit and I'm sure not gonna used it for the future. Hard lessons here to learn mate. |

After 5 years and still be the highest valued crypto, bitcoin will be more profitable after 5 years but both of them will increase its price after 5 years so its better to make your investment in 2 cryptos. Bitcoin will still be the winner for me even after 5 years but who knows, maybe we can see a big change in that span of time (like BCH yesterday).
I agree. Bitcoin will be still the winner but both coins will increase in his price. Both coins will be profitable to make a investment thats why i save my bitcoins and I got some eth from my friends. If i hold them longer than 5 years i will surely make a good profit. Yes, we all expect that Bitcoin will be will high as well in the future together with Ethereum. And to those who say that bitcoin cash will take over soon, I doubt it. What we see yesterday is nothing but an attack by few unscrupulous individuals. nothing more. And now look at what is happening, BCH is dropping fast and investors going back to bitcoin. They are not successful at their attempt, they just disrupted the network and the system. Look for bitcoin to be around $50K in 5 years. |

It's a normal corrections. And we've seen it so many times before, that the entire market is losing about 20% of it's value in a day. People are forgetting though the days that it adds 20% - they only remember the negative and never the positive. The fact is that over the last months the entire market cap has gone from 20 billion to about 200, that's a 1000% increase and it happened within a couple of months. Just imagine what will happen in 2018 and beyond when institutional investors get involved in the market, and we'll be seeing the big bucks coming in. Additionally, we'll be seeing many normal consumers adopting crypto's because they offer some great benefits that are mainly presented via the ETH platform, that is keep on increasing demand for ETH and the blockchain.
Yes, we need to understand that this market is very unstable. And also this price correction is just part of the system. You don't need to be disappointed when the market is going red. You need to have patience or the best thing is do is to buy in this dips because the price is really cheap. So when the price goes green again, you can sell them so that you can take profits at the end. This is how the market works. Sometimes is not favorable on our side, we just need to wait the perfect time to either sell and buy. |

It's not really a battle for me. Bitcoin did not even got close to BTC. It was just a trick for a profit. People should avoid panicking. Such FUD is also like scamming others earning free coins and then boom, they leave. The greed of people crypto users are definitely measured by this event.
I hope everyone learned a valuable lesson. Have a basis and proofs before jumping to conclusions. Or you will lose everything
Exactly, they created a giant FUD like for couple of days and some may have believed it in by switching to BCH. But BTC has stood its ground, though I really think the most of the investors did moved to BCH but for the hell of making huge profits. Then boom, then all leave going back to BTC. Who may not known their faces, but they truly manipulates the price in their favor but now leaving BCH. Yeah, those newbies should learn from this and not be tricked again. |

Its been really a roller coaster ride for bitcoin and wild swings as well. If you are a day trader, you could have won big by now. Because its really favorable in bitcoin and bitcoin cash to play day trader specially if you are very very skilled and the returns are huge. And its like pulling-pushing action for the 2 markets. But at the end of the day, we already know that one of them is really for pumping and manipulating and your guess is as good as mine as to who have gain trust from the community.  |

I have to agree with you as I have see ETH are the real 'deal' with you said. Just the Smart Contract alone, bitcoin will be dwarfed by this. However, since bitcoin is the pioneer and now becomes the currency for making money, ETH lose a significant value. But in terms of usage, I think ETH is the best cryptocurrency hands down. So its gonna be hard for ETH to really overtook bitcoin because its becoming an investment and store of wealth instrument. |

But it slip it back to $7100. But just what others have said, its just normal to see some price drop seeing that it like crazy week for bitcoin reaching new ATH so it was bound to happened that a correction is needed. But it's still experiencing wild swings, and now its just a shade above $7000 again. We are going to see such roller coaster price ride until such time that we got to segwit2x and then we going to see the 'real' price drop.

What is the metrics that you take into account before investing in BTC? Do you think about how much it has been rising, what is news is coming up, and your personal belief in crypto?
I just look if the price of bitcoin is in dip before buying it. And I don't know what you mean by metrics. As long as the price is low or at a discounted price, then its a good buying point. Well you can still buy even if the price is rising, however to maximize your profits, you need to wait till the price drop before you buy it. Any positive news will come up later, most important thing is that you have to always get it when the price is cheap. |

I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.
There are really governments that don't like bitcoin. They are fearful because bitcoin cannot be controlled by them. And even if there is a significant effect to their citizens like you and me, for them its doesn't matter because if they think that then are being threaten by other things, not only by bitcoins, they will not blink an eye and issue a total ban. But the good thing is that there are also a lot of friendly bitcoin countries. And if you are extreme lucky if your country will support bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. |

The impact has been rather very good, most young people have been drawn towards bitcoins because it provides them with a source of income, most people have entered into the business of buying and selling bitcoins for a profit here so bitcoins has reduced unemployment in my country.
I've seen a lot of young people already invested on bitcoin so I think its really good for them. And for the economy of a country bitcoin will help their citizens in turn they can keep the economy going because they have a lot of cash to buy. In short bitcoin has given a sort of purchasing power to some of it. And if ever they would used bitcoin and convert it to local currency and spend it as much, then the government will have additional cash flowing on their economy. |

Please provide Do's and Don'ts during the trading.
My first suggestion is that you should only invest the amount of money that you are willing to lose. Trading is very risky so if you don't know what you are doing there are a chance that you may lose it all. Next, is don't be too emotional, just remain calm and stay focus. Of course buy low and then sell high so that you can make profits out of your investment. Have a good trading and I hope that you do find it as a good source of making money because everyone does. |

Meh, it won’t do much to the price even if it does happen. Maybe there will be less ‘show bob & vegena pics’ using sex services on the dark web but that’s about it.
It will also stop all the Indian account signature farmers as well, joking. Even if so still is not healthy for Bitcoin and as I recalled Bitcoin has always been illegal in India. I once try to hire an Indian to develop a website and pay him in Bitcoin and he said it was not allowed and that was a few years ago. Indians are learning that the gov or the banks cant really stop Bitcoin so they do continue to use it as of today. Message to you guys do not let anyone tell you how and where to climb a mountain. We strive for world currency which we all can use. Is that so? I though that bitcoin is unregulated in bitcoin till this news come out. And also there are a lot of Indian around here so I though it isn't the case. However, if their government decided to ban bitcoin, no need to worry I think you can go the same way as the Chinese do, go OTC and continue with your bitcoin earnings or trading. |
