7181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: November 24, 2017, 11:50:34 AM
I like how people here are now very bullish about ETH, Who wouldn't, it used to be the darling of the crowd around May to June but now their is a renewed interest on ETH and I don't know why. And by looking at the price today, the bulls have successfully broken the $400 barrier and I'm sure it will remain that way. Maybe the coming month of December push the bulls to buy ETH with renewed enthusiasm.

I'm expecting a little bit of lull though because of the US holidays. But the news regarding reports of upcoming access to its own regulated derivatives market has really put ETH on the next levels. If this trends continuous it may very well be breaking $500 at the end of the year.
7182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your guess of the month's altcoin is on: November 23, 2017, 01:17:04 PM
All still a speculation, whatever we want to call it. One cannot really say and in as much as I would have loved to pick ETH, most times, it has really let me down. I am really hopeful that it really gets that huge boost. For now, BTC is not really showing much of a bullish trend unless it is able to break the resistance blocking it at the moment. Until then, I hope it does not affect the chance ETH is having to increase in value right now.

You have to understand that altcoin is much volatile as compare to bitcoin market. As such if you are not for the long haul on ETH I'm sure that you will feel like that. Just about 5-6 months ago, ETH is soaring and even touches its all time high and there's so much discussion here that it can overtook bitcoin in terms of market cap. But it didn't happened that's why a lot of people felt disappointed like you.

But it looks like that ETH is making a comeback. Its going to break $400 anytime soon so if you are a long time bagholder this is your time to shine now and take the profit and get yourself a good reward. Its really a roller coaster ride for all crytpo's this year and I ETH or even bitcoin is not an exception to this.
7183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke 8000 USD. how far it will go? on: November 23, 2017, 11:59:33 AM
And its still going up as we speak, however its getting up slow lately so I think we may have reached its highest point unless someone bring fresh cash to the market. It will also be a good note to take that ETH is almost touching its ATH and maybe some investors would cash out their bitcoin profit to go to ETH.

But the good thing is that bitcoin is not going down and the price of $8000 is sustainable for the time being. Nevertheless market is volatile that a simple negative news will trigger a drop or if some big whales decided to dump its coins and newbies panic follows as well. Let's just wait and see how the price move in the next couple of days. Its almost end of November and we had a good run. I'm not complaining.
7184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price Worth $7500 on: November 23, 2017, 10:57:10 AM
i think the end of the year bitcoin will hit the 10k dollars value. due too demand right now

You are not the first one to predict that the price could go $10K at the end of the year. Many people is going bullish on how the market moves, its just a matter of time to get it there. So just imagine you bought it at $7.5K when the OP started to open this thread. Now the price is above $8K, so it means that you already have made profits, although it been a roller coaster ride this month.

But it just proves that bitcoin is getting stronger, demand is higher, resulting to a good profit for all of us. So everyone who is have been doubting and adamant to buy bitcoin at any point has a lot of missed opportunity. Too bad.

Though sooner or later a dip can be seen, it will never go down below $7K again. Because people will go and buy bitcoin back if ever their is a slip, almost remember that.
7185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: November 23, 2017, 09:50:13 AM
The best time to become a trader is when you felt yourself confident that you are already equipped with enough knowledge and skills. You can be a trader anytime but the question is how effective will you be.

Personally, I would rather dig my hands on trading and learn as I goes along because there's no better teacher that experienced itself. Besides, even if you have enough knowledge, its all by the books. Getting your hands dirty is different from what you read. Accept in the beginning that you will have lost because its part of being a successful trader in the future.

You can start with small capital and they go and try to learn how to do it yourself and as you mature I'm sure you have pick up a lot of knowledge along the way that it will give you confident to become a successful trader one day. And don't forget to invest a lot of time as well. Its crucial in trading to spent more time because you need to observed how the market moves, read graph and technical analysis. And I don't agree with people saying that you don't need a lot of time in trading.
7186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the right time to cash out? on: November 22, 2017, 11:00:50 AM
I was so nervous that when bitcoin price dropped to 6000$ I was scared to loose more and withdrew my coins only to regret later that it became 8000$.
Please help me with your advice /opinion.
It is just painful that most of you do not get to ask questions first before making such decisions and when you have panicked and made the wrong decision finish, you then end up dropping your regrets on the forum.

Moreover, you are member and you should have spent a lot of time already on this forum to have been able to understand that bitcoin is volatile and if you had follow the trend for a while, you should have noticed this is a normal trend. However, I believe you have learnt your lessons now.

I couldn't agree more, you can turn your mistakes to a valuable lesson! "Buy low, Sell high" is much more complicated than it sounds Wink
Hopefully you have learned now, and have a more proper approach when things gets crazy on the market.

Yeah, that old mantra has been heard numerous times here, "Buy low, Sell high", but its easier said than done. How many of us is like the OP in the beginning? I guess almost all of us.

One thing though is that as you go on your journey you will really learn a lot of lessons a long the way, some may struck you and it will even guide you to make proper decisions in the future. Just don't give up don't be emotional and you will be fine as you mature in the crypto trading or investing.
7187  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin actually just a Investment coin? on: November 22, 2017, 09:27:58 AM
Yes, but by todays standard, it is called a investment coin because people tend to buy it and hodl for long term. So personally, we can call it as such. However, if you look at the initial design by Satoshi, its not, its P2P. But bitcoin is evolving and its no longer the crypto for micro payment scheme because of the high tx fees and slow confirmation time.

But don't forget that bitcoin is money for most of us, they spend it like fiat, although there aren't any merchants that currently accepting it. People just cash it out and then they buy things like a regular fiat now. Which for me is a good thing because bitcoin has given individuals so much purchasing and financial freedom specially in 3rd world countries.

7191  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: November 20, 2017, 02:25:05 PM
I didn't see anyone say like you said, I only knew a guy who said :" Bitcoin is a fraud " only. And the Bitcoin's price is fucking him right now. I think he's crying as a bitch right now because he doesn't give a right look about bitcoin.

No. You didn't get it. You are still very young in the market. If you are here for too long then you will see that a lot of FUD's around here going around telling bitcoin is dead. Just dig a few old threads and you will see what I'm talking about. And those paid schills are here trolling specially when the price of bitcoin is going down. They always do that. They will always ride on when bitcoin is at is lowest, then quickly disappear when it recover and even go higher than the previous highs. Just wait and see. There will be floods of thread once we hit a sudden nosedive.

The main thing here is not to listen to all of them and try to be immune yourself otherwise you will be swayed on their side to sell your bitcoin because they really want to cause panic around. Just be strong and patience and not to believed anything they say.

My activity was 30 and I was Jr.Member this morning. I'm sure of that.
Now my activity has dropped to 29 and I'm newbie again. I did not delete any of my posts, or none of my posts were deleted by a moderator.

Why  Huh

Let me quote in for you:

If you've made a lot of posts in a thread and it gets trashed then your post count will go down. Don't post in unsubstantial threads that are liable to be deleted if you're worried about this.

I'm sure that the moderator deleted at least one of your post causing your activity to go down to newbie account again.
7193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin cash 2000$ after new year or before? on: November 20, 2017, 12:08:16 PM
I bought a bit bitcoincash and think to sell it for $ 2000. When do you think, this will happen? after new year or before? Smiley

Doing speculation about bitcoin cash is really very hard or say it's impossible because the market cap increased within few days and the price was artificially set and increased by the clever minds behind the curtains. Many became victims and sold their bitcoin in oreder to exchange it for BCH which was the worst decision and now you are seeking the price would go upto $2000 which is not possible until the same drama is played once again. The whole scene was pump and dump the coin after reaping huge profits within short time and then who have coins will face loss. You can notice the above given screenshot graph and situation will be clear to you that it was price manipulation done on large scale.

We have seen how they manipulated the price of bitcoin cash and never seen such fluctuations before. So its clearly a sign that its are just artificially pumping the coin to their advantage. I also read another newcomers buying it at a price of $2K and he also thinks that it can go more, however, the price took a nosedive together with his investment. I hope the OP was not swayed by those FUD'ers here otherwise he is just another victim of this pump coin. Let this be a lesson to you and to others that just be careful on the coins that you are going to invest otherwise you will be trap and can't get out unless you are willing to suffer a lose on your end.
7194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin=easy money on: November 20, 2017, 10:50:34 AM
If you are moving around in the network marketing industry you will have heard of Bitcoin the online currency. Bitcoin is a digital currency, this means you will not receive actual coins or notes like you do with a traditional currency. You can start today itself to make easy money.

I don't think it easy money, well if you have a lot of money and then just hodl if for as long as you can then it could be consider as easy money because you aren't doing anything. But for most of us, earning bitcoin is hard, like having to do trading or joining a signature campaign. And its not just a digital currency, it could be an asset as well and can be used to store your wealth. And its getting harder and harder to earn it because the price is really going up. I guess most of us here are just casual investors and its really hard to buy bitcoin right now because its $8000. So don't call bitcoin an easy way to make money, you need to have a lot of patience, loads of money to invest and you should be emotionally doesn't get nervous when you see the price are nose diving and thinking of selling your stash.
7195  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Iberia Bank hates Bitcoin on: November 20, 2017, 10:09:45 AM
Went to open a business checking account for a personal investment company.  Agent asks purpose of the entity.  Said one of the intents to invest in bitcoin and other digital currencies.  Bank rejected account application stating not wanting to be associated with bitcoin, etc.  Shame.

You are not the first one to be rejected mate. I also encountered the same in my country and for God's shake they really hate bitcoin. The moment you mentioned bitcoins to the bank manager, the eyes will grow bigger as if saying that you did something or you are a criminal in nature. And I'm guessing you have been rejected on the spot? Right? Try 2 banks here, didn't bother to get to the next bank because I know that I will be rejected as well. Its just sad to see how bankers really thought of what bitcoin is, - Criminality. No wonder why Jamie Dimon really hates bitcoin, as evident of his attacks. Anyways, we can't do anything about it, so I guess your option if you ever try to open a bank account is that you don't mentioned where the funds are coming from. LOL.
7196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is best mlm ico right now ? on: November 20, 2017, 09:27:24 AM
Dear all,
I am looking for mlm ico to invest . Someone tell me which one is the best at this moment please !
Thank you so much. Wink

Do you even know what MLM means? Or do you think that all ICO are scam? If you answer both then no need to invest on ICO because they are scam. I have to agree that most of them are scam but they are not MLM. MLM is a pyramiding scheme while ICO is not. There are no levels in ICO, unlike in most MLM. And there are a lot of ICO going around in you would just check on the proper forum. Just a warning that you need to be careful on what ICO are you going to invest though so that you can at least received profit and not to be scam in the long run.
7197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unsecured WiFi on: November 20, 2017, 03:44:11 AM
Yes. Unsecured WIFI posed a threat to our wallet security so never ever try to do open your wallet using a public unsecured WIFI. If you would remember there was one wallet who has latter found out that is transmitting plain text over the internet. And its very vulnerable. Imaging using a unsecured WIFI which everyone can see your transaction in plain text!!!
There are many attack vectors that a hacker can exploit. And we all know that hackers are really targeting crypto because of the money involved. They are getting desperate and bolder on their attack. So don't give them a chance. So I advise not to used WIFI that is public and unsecured.
7198  Economy / Economics / Re: impacts off cryptocurrency on: November 20, 2017, 02:51:54 AM
Bitcoin has no current impact.

I mean, of course there are many people buyng, trading and playing with bitcoin but come on. For the moment it has no significant impact.
Proof is that in most countries, bitcoin and its community is simply ignored by the government.

I do not say that bitcoin has no future and will never change society, I affirm that changes are slow. Please, stop believing that bitcoin is a huge change, completely disrupting society. For the moment at least!  Cheesy

I mean if there is a impact its only minimal and as far as the social and economic, only citizens is benefiting and its only quite a small percentage really. At least citizens of a country has gain and earn bitcoin and making money. That's why I think that government is really targeting bitcoin because they really want to put tax around it.

what are the social and economic impacts cryptocurrencies have ?
and how will this affect third world and poor countries because of their limited access to internet and modern technology?
The impact is very influential for social and countries. There have been many cryptocurrencies with different aims to bring people and the country get benefit. I think with this cryptocurrency at least can help people to be able to change his lifestyle.

Only the people are really benefiting and not the government. Maybe its not that significant as I have mentioned. Because people has been given financial freedom is only a few that why even if they purchase all their bitcoin in the local economy its still not enough to make a significant dent on the whole country itself.

7200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 17, 2017, 03:04:22 PM
I am really surprised at the bitcoin price now,I did not expect the Bitcoin price to rise so fast.
and I predict the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase,so the Bitcoin price movement is difficult to predict and will Bitcoin in early 2018 surprise me again ?,we'll see.

Bitcoin has a lot of surprises indeed. No one would think that it can grow exponentially, and now the price is getting closer to $8000. I have no doubt that 2018 will be another big year for bitcoin so expect the unexpected. Maybe $10000-$20000 is on the horizon. Well see then how it goes.
