7182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How do I check the exchange is safe? on: August 28, 2018, 05:28:52 PM
I’ve been trading on the same two popular exchanges for a while. But now I want to trade FNTC token which is trading on Ethen.market. It looks the same as other exchanges and says it’s decentralized but how do I know my private keys are safe with them? They are new and don’t look very well known. Is there a way to know they are safe if they haven’t been around for too long?

New exchangers doesn't mean that they are automatically considered to be scam yet all exchangers would really go into that starting point where they are unknown or just popped out on the market.
The important thing you can do is when you do tried to check out the legitimacy of an exchange then always seek out for any feedbacks and make sure those words aren't just on few counts. It always matter on community views and experience. If you haven't find any comments then try for yourself on small amounts.

Make New wallet - Pass tokens from old wallet to new - Input on the exchange your new wallet private keys.

These steps might be hassle but would really decrease the risk since you aren't using your main wallet.
7183  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Identified a niche- where to start. Suggestions please on: August 28, 2018, 04:07:46 PM
I'm asking you kindly for your opinions (or experience if you have any) on how you would go about starting from an idea to turning it into a reality and what steps to take initially?

Detailed explanation is being said above specially when you are on initial phase. It all matters on how to start up because methods can be interchangeable depending if you are
financially capable or just purely depending on crowdfund or do only have a small fund to start up.The only thing on my mind if I were on your situation which I have seen
the potential of my own idea then you would do the steps above given and just always put up on your mind that success rate will vary on how you do market your project and most of
all the entire potential of it.
7184  Economy / Economics / Re: New report on wash trading scares me on: August 28, 2018, 03:16:38 PM
Hey guys, so i've read a new report on how much of the exchanges volumes are just wash trading and the numbers are way too high for what real users do>.

This is pretty concerning, since the market might not be nearly as stable and mature as we think, it might all be manipulated.
What do you think of the current state of big exchanges and price manipulations that we experience?

my source: https://www.blockchaintransparency.org/reports/

Everything in this world is being manipulated by some powerful people out there. So, the crypto market is not all different from it and it is more prone to manipulation since it is decentralized.
Supposed to say the same thing but by the way this is short and direct to the point insight.

Anything is manipulated and cryptomarket isn't really exempted on such thing. We have seen forex and stocks do have those price manipulations to drive up a trend and theres no different also into this market.
Get used to it yet these exchangers can possibly manipulate prices. If you can able to spot out then get out if not then try to utilize it- if you are just a trader but if you are just an observer then this thing wont really be a big deal.

7186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dota 2 - The international 2018 on: August 25, 2018, 10:52:49 AM
Holy s***. That was the most insane ending to a game of Dota I think I've ever seen. For anyone who missed it, here's the last 5 minutes of OG v LGD game 3: https://streamable.com/ye9go

Topson and ana holding off all of LGD for 2 minutes, and then JerAx with a $4 million echo slam. What a game.
LGD hurried up too much on that push which they do believe they can able to crack that ancient but topson do hold it up until jerax respawn. They direct go to the tier 4 tower after breaking the 3rd since LGD heroes doesnt have a buyback which is really thrilling comeback and secure the spot for top 2.
7187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy GPUs? on: August 24, 2018, 09:14:31 PM
The prices are going down in international markets like Amazon and Ebay but I think we just need to a wait a little bit more. We need to wait the moment when a Rx 470/570 series to be 100 dollars each and we can then build a mining rig with 6 cards with only 800-900 dollars.

That is the time when it is worth to buy graphic cards, though the rewards from mining with graphic cards are going down slightly day by day.
Still depends on your electricity cost because those cards would definitely give out some reasonable hashes but profitability would always matter minus on the expenses. $100+ each on RX 470s wont really be a bad deal though.

I am not a professional miner, I just want to learn how to do it, to mine bitcoin. I was wondering when it was best to buy mining equipment. Perhaps now the bottom of bitcoin and the best time to buy equipment, is it?
Bitcoin= Asic Miner, Most altcoins in the market = GPU which means they are different and having low price of bitcoin doesnt mean the mining difficulty is low too. Take a look in the chart https://www.blockchain.com/charts/difficulty
7188  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Sports Trading?!?!?!!?!?! on: August 24, 2018, 07:59:19 PM
Does anyone think a crypto sports trading project can succeed?

I suppose you wanted to say a Crypto sports betting website? I don't see a reason for a project to fail as long as the business plan is reasonable. I am not into betting so can't give any advice but there is Sportbet.io, I participated in their advertising campaign in their early days and I see they are still here. So I guess it's working well for them...
This would be a much different concept. For example, the token sale will allow individuals to purchase utility tokens for the platform. Afterwards, individuals can use the tokens to purchase virtual shares of their favorite sport teams to trade p2p on the platform. Each team will have a bonus pool it which the tokens will be locked and only distributed when teams perform well. Have you ever heard of a concept like this before?
I hear out this kind of concept and i have seen some project which do have the same motive about having a utility token on this specific sport genre but i didnt see they do able to succeed. There no much interest on this thing on my own view.
7189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dota 2 - The international 2018 on: August 24, 2018, 06:35:21 PM
Ahh, that's a typo, sorry. I should have said:

Personally I think Liquid will beat Secret 2-0, but EG - Secret Liquid is too close to call.

After Liquid beat Secret they will advance to meet EG in the next round, and that was the game I meant would be too close to call. As you say, Liquid - EG are both very strong teams, and it is surprising they will be meeting in the lower bracket after dominating the group stages.

Secret is also a formidable team and I don't think they will just slide this chance since they are closing to claim their own Aegis of Immortal. Liquid is strong, that is a fact but I think there are some flaws to them. It is not on the team but I think it is on the Meta. Every year, not same teams will be claiming the same Aegis since the Meta is changing. Yes, they are pro players but their type of plays are not that great in the new Meta, well that is my opinion to it seeing their plays in the TI.
I mean every team would do whatever it takes to take the aegis not just team secret. Every team have flaws not just team liquid there's no perfect team if there is they will dominate every Valve Event, yeah there are some teams that are not able to adapt to the meta quickly i think its the reason why they are losing.
Any team do really have its flaws and as being said any team do have that thirst to claim that aegis on finals and even Liquid is a strong team, anything can possibly happen on this tournament even the underdog tier teams can possibly beat out those strong ones.Currently watching game of Secret and Liquid, you will able to see on how Secret do able to make a good fight with Liquid which i really didnt expect.

Currently on game 2,Optic is on the lead.
Having said that Optic Gaming lost while Virtus.Pro will advance to the next round against EG. I'm sure that this isn't going to be an easy match for EG as VP is one of the toughest team today.

I'm with Virtus.Pro for their match.

While on the other side, it's VGJ.Storm vs. Secret.

VGJ.Storm's good during the elimination process but I know that Secret won't let them advance.

VP did well on 2nd game and took the the higher spot.Im currently watching VGJ and Secret and they are on draft as of this time.I cant still believe that secret do made this far if we do base their current
performances they do really improved as of this year and going back in TI 7 they have been eliminated earlier LB Round 2 by Liquid.
Me too I'm watching it as well.

Team Secret's heroes - Clinks, Necrophos, Earthshaker, Silencer and Meepo.

VGJ.Storm's heroes - Mirana, Templar Assassin, Wraith King, KOTL, Undying.

If VGJ.Storm will win this series and hopefully if EG will win as well. It will be brothers against brothers on the mid lane.
Round 1 is hard for VGJ and Team secret is currently owning as of this moment.Meepo is too fat even Templars assasin refraction is useless having a backup of clinkz plus global silence then sustain from necrophos
and now they took the first round(Secret).

7192  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: is bitcoin is a private currency on: August 23, 2018, 07:53:54 PM
I think bitcoin is a world currency not a private currency and because he does not hold by the government and does not have tax.. and i am agreed for this currency. so all people are wrong tell us bitcoin is a private currency.
For the word "world currency" then its not applicable yet not all people do have such possession of bitcoin and when we do talk about generally with currency then it is just good on digital and its not being regulated or being controlled or owned by anyone. The only private thing here is that you can have those coins without even knowing your true identity and you can really have that full control of your own funds.
7193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dota 2 - The international 2018 on: August 23, 2018, 07:16:47 PM
n0tail rocks! I love Dota 2, but there are some mobile games that needs some attention too. People are too focussed on

console and pc games.  Sad  Games like Vainglory / Fortnite / Clash Royale/Of Clans / Heartstone has a giant following and they

should get a lot more attention in Sport betting sites.  Sad  There are more people playing these games than StarCraft and

Dota 2  Roll Eyes

Those mobile game do have that much player but if they will able to last for a long time just like what other games did specially Dota 2 and Warcraft etc. then they might get that consideration on sports betting sites but for now they are focused on pc games rather than on mobile ones.

Looking forward for a upset tomorrow Optic vs VP that would boost my fantasy points alot if they pull a upset tomorrow.

Currently on game 2,Optic is on the lead.
7194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make sure that new dapps are not scams? on: August 23, 2018, 06:36:31 PM
If it's really dapp, then it means the source code is available on the blockchain (which anyone can access easily) and anyone can read/audit the code to make sure whether the dapp is scam, buggy or work as expected.

But if you don't have such knowledge, then all you can do are :
1. Check review/comment from people who've used the dapp
2. Check whether someone have review/audit the code and it's result
3. Use website such as https://dappradar.com/ which usually only list proper/not scam dapp
The fact is that many comments naturally approving any application can be paid by the fraudster or made by him from different accounts. This is a very common practice. Unfortunately, many users do not know https://dappradar.com/ and this site may not include some of the new Scam apps on its list,as far as I understand the rating is formed from reviews.
Checking out dappradar you can really say that there might be some scam apps being listed but the question why would you go into the last ranking if theres top one? Big chances or those who are on top would be
legit ones if you do based on user and volume of ETH involved.
7195  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-08-14] How I Got Over $11,000 in Free Bitcoin on: August 23, 2018, 05:46:10 PM
Its not totally free.

Bitcoin Faucets
Surveys and Odd Jobs Online
Crypto Airdrops
Bounty Campaigns
Social Media and Content Creation Bounties

These things do involve work, might not be hard as having a day stable job but you do spend time and effort.

And the last word been posted up which is,

Nothing is Really Free. The title is misleading.
7196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EthChase.io - The trusted Ethereum crash game on: August 22, 2018, 08:05:56 PM
Nothing special since its based on the classic crash game bustabit but the diffent thing here is that this do being played with Ether.Yes, i have seen this is a fully licensed clone of Bustabit which is good but im not sure if people would tend to use up similar sites all over again and again which i do even see there are lots of similar games but people would really stick to the original ones.
By the way i do tried to register but it do puts me back into the main page.

Doest have a FAQ, support link and other informations that you can find on a typical gambling site nowadays. We can see a plain display of the game. How the community would able to trust this one? It isnt even appealing nor i didnt even like on the line of simple game of math and greed.
7198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have anyone used this AI trading platform? Is it legit? on: August 22, 2018, 06:18:29 PM
Hi!

Have anyone used aiminer.io?
I am reticent in sending BTC there. I would like to know your opinion
Havent seen any review yet but this is just basically a trading bot.

Their description is this,

Crypto robots are primarily a digital investment tool. Their entire function is to process cryptocurrencies mining activities for its user. The main idea is that they don’t require any trading expertise or knowledge of the financial market

Regarding on this line, without any trading experience on using up a bot would be still considered useless.
7199  Economy / Gambling / Re: LandSecrets - A blockchain based predicted mining game on: August 21, 2018, 09:54:49 PM
Just faced up this new concept of mining game but until now im little bit confused and trying to figure it out but well i agree on most statements above.

The Shapeshift idea is okay too, but we lose funds just changing.

Something is always better than nothing...but you are correct.

Why projects launch, then want to have love from bitcoin when doing nothing for bitcoin will always be a mystery.

They aren't "kind of the same," once you get into the altcoin realm it decreases the amount of potential customers dramatically.

Conversions would always require a fee and i dont see any gamblers would really be interested on that one.

Gambling sites that hold BTC, BCH, ETH, LTC can do the swaps with zero fee, not that they do.

It would actually be a good business for someone. Cut the fee in half of what shapeshift would do, then do all the swaps for gambling sites that don't have solutions for this.

Then the players get lower fee than they normally would, a business gets small consistent customers for exchanges and the gambling site can target more customers.
Another side income on their part if thats the case which is a good idea but they should hold up those coins to make exchangers but not to underestimate new gambling sites, most of them do have that limited bankroll which means most of the time they dont have that capacity which they would end up on relying on those quick swap sites.

Someone will come into crypto gambling with a huge bankroll and act like pokerstars did when credit cards for depositing online was new and sketchy back in 2005.

The first mover to make every gambler know their crypto funds are secure and that being paid will never be a problem for customers, takes the majority of crypto gamblers.
Trust and security would always matter.

The concept is so difficult to grasp that I rather just play good 'ol dice on some random betting site. The land, mining, height, landsecrets sounds too much fancier than a "dice-roll". Now you know why the gambling scene doesn't welcome new fancy games.
Correct, not all gamblers would be that too tech-savy which they will able understand easily on how these kind of game works.
7200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are people really making money from mining using laptop? on: August 21, 2018, 09:15:12 PM
I was thinking if people really makes money from mining altcoins using laptop as I have tried to do so and find out that it is not really working.  For the past three months I have tried to mine graftcoin with my laptops but it seemed I have not gotten upto 5000 unit. Am I   doing what is right in a wrong way?
You would able to answer your own question. What you had find out? mining on your laptop wont really be that profitable not only earning cents but also you are just harming your own laptop if you do plan to mine further on. Better to stop it because you are just totally wasting up your time, effort and electricity.
