721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i enter a signature campaign as a newbie? on: June 01, 2016, 03:11:53 PM
As a newbie ypu can't earn much from signature campaign , you need to be atleast member so that options are more on signature campaign , currently 777Coin and Bitvest accepting newbies. Smiley

But that is a good start for newbies out there even they won't earn that much the most important thing is to learn and while they are learning
somehow they are also earning a little amount, and that's a good thing.

It is not good start for "Newbies". They should read and learn how looks cryptocurrency world. When newbie joining to signature campaign trying to earn how much he can and is spamming worthless informations all around the forum.

To learn how work wallet and transactions are faucets, and there everyone should start.

I suggest for most to wait till full member it really is a decent jump up in pay.  Also it is a good point by then people should be decent at helping with a good constructive post.

A lot of the ones that jump to sig campaign right away with "newbie" end up with one liners.  Things like "+1", "Thanks for info!", etc.  Just crap posts that lead to warning/ban depending on how bad they are spamming.
722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: want to start mining on: June 01, 2016, 03:07:38 PM
You only use a CPU or GPU to mine. Nothing else matters, well that and the software. Asic are way to advanced now so only big farms really make any money these days. However if you had a mid to high end GPU you could mine a few altcoins and make a small amount and if you lucky they increase in value! All established coins like litecoin, bitcoin, dogecoin etc Already have been minded a lot by asic and farms so stay away from them if you do plan on mining.

CPU mining just is not worth it anymore.  There is not a coin that makes it profitable for most people, and even with free electricity CPU coins just are kinda crap and not worth much.  GPU is a different story.

It's all kinda surrounding one coin with Ether.  But with certain GPU's it is feasable to mine still and profitable for many.  It's gained a lot of support really compared to most other altcoins currently.  You talk about big farms there are still farms of GPU's out there they are just less common then asics.
723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: June 01, 2016, 03:04:44 PM
Faucets(if you have plenty of time).signature campaigns.trading. Working

Even you will take so many time in faucets without referral you will not unable to get that 0.5 btc, but it can help if you have so many active referrals,
let's say you have one thousand of referrals, for sure you can earn from them bigger plus your other source like signature campaign, trading
and free lancing jobs.

Even if you spend lots of time on faucets it is simply um-realistic to make .5 (1/2 bitcoin) anytime soon.  When your earning cents per hour that is a LOT of hours.   So I really don't recommend people doing faucets.  It honestly is wasting time.

Just about any suggestion (besides gambling) is better then faucets.  All I see faucets for is people with want to play with BTC with 0 investment.  Free lancing as you put it likely is quickest depending on skill your selling.
724  Other / Meta / Re: What is potential activity on: June 01, 2016, 02:59:28 PM
potential activity is to increase the account without having to wait a long time, but it all depends on your posts. for example if in one week you can make 60 post, and your rank account can be instantly increased to the member, without having to wait 1.5 months

I would warn OP to make sure he makes full and constructive posts.  I'm not a huge fan of buying/selling of accounts.  If you do potential and spam it up to get a rank quickly there is a decent chance of ban.

I think threads like - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1493906.msg15033295#msg15033295 . And saying "title" in so many not asking a question in it will again lead to problems if your trying to post up to a certain rank.
725  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: June 01, 2016, 02:52:40 PM
Why should  diff  rise after the halving ?
I think that many of the miners turned off,  if the BTC  price stays the same or decreases.

Same thoughts here! Many old running S3 + S5 are going to be shut-down after the halving and the diff will stay or decrease a little for some time. Hopefully the bitcoin price keeps on rising instead!

However, as people begin replacing S7's with S9's, those S7's will be sold to people turning off S3/S5...

That I have found to be a good thing for miners.  It allows me with my regular electricity to sell my previous gen gear, and hopefully add some extra ROI.  Then upgrade to the latest miner.

But I think it is great how there is a market for used gear.   Also on a lot of sites it seems Bitmain/Antminer get a lot of searches on secondary sales which again is good for selling your old gear.
726  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Really Profiting? on: June 01, 2016, 02:44:16 PM
Is it really profitable to mine bitcoin and alt coins? if so then why alt coins have small hash rates? either you can make money by mining
or not if you can make money then how come most powerful countries are not just putting tons of hash powers in bitcoin and alt coins
And just take them all for themselves?

Mining alt coins and BTC are very different as far as mining. With BTC mining your talking about asics which beat the heck out of GPU's and with S9 are getting very efficient (amazing jump into this generation).

On altcoins really only one worth mining for most is Ehter, and it is done with GPU.   So I consider it kinda apples and orages as far as mining Ether or BTC.  But both do come down to electricity price honestly on amount of profit.

728  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: No Mining = End of Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2016, 04:32:54 AM
This may be hard to grasp by many here because many here are hobbyist or speculators. I am with Phil, as a hobbyist, I will continue to mine regardless of price.

That's where I am now. Bitcoin mining is a hobby so I can learn more about blockchain. I like the idea of sidehack's Compac stick miners, and have one happily mining away at ~18 GH/s and earning between 750 and 1500 satoshis per day. In today's mining environment it will not ROI, but maybe it will sometime down the road. I'd also be interested in a 500 watt home miner built with the latest generation of ASICs if one gets built, preferably by someone here.

Cheers,

- zed

The next step from USB mining would be either an Antminer S3 but a Antminer S5 is not very expensive either. Do note that you will not ROI but it's nice to play with a bigger Asic.

The S3 you can underclock and make it pretty quiet, but it's quiet dated at this point.  The S5 I kinda think of as hot and loud.   But going to either from a single compac is a pretty big jump.

But he also mentions 500 watt with latest generation, so S7-LN might be closest thing to what hes wanting.  But we don't know a ton about it yet.

Follow this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1487358.20

If this happens, and it's a big IF right now, it has my interest.

- zed

Pods would be great for certain aspects, but cost chances are will be higher compared to a full size miner.   I personally am a fan of the S7 (and what looks like carried to S9).   Getting the most hash I can out of the miner.  But I realize I am lucky for sound/power not to be a problem.

Don't get me wrong I would buy a few pods like I did with compacs and lotto mine chances are.   But I don't think it is still a way's till a product comes  (if any) though that.

Title,, Help??

OP I highly suggest making a full post.   6 of your post's are this "Title" thing https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=850304;sa=showPosts .  I do not suspect that you will remain longterm and be able to continue this.
730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: May 31, 2016, 11:00:40 PM
I always take a risk to get greater profits. because there is no safe way to get it.
can you mention the investments that can get 0.3 in a week? I think it does not exist. if there is maybe I should invest in a very big amount, like put 100 btc in mining.

there are lots of ways to invest bitcoin and earn 0.3 btc a week. if you really have 100btc. I don't think you have to invest all in such type of systems. investment sources are too much but getting scammed there is very high. most of earning sites paying today can stop paying yesterday and start doing scam. so don't invest that much without any proves and confirmation.

Can you explain in more detail, bitcoin investments that can earn 0.3BTC a week? as you say very much.
I could probably do it with trading, but remember it needs to be an expert and have enough capital.

Its not easy to earn 0.3 with trading on regular basis, as sometimes you decision can go wrong which will result you a loss, trading is good but not reliable.

if you do trade experts it easy. I saw some of my friends, can even benefit more than 1 BTC in one day, so it was really easy to like what I said above, has a large capital and trade experts

If you are good in trading then you can earn that amount very easily, but if you are on learning curve then  you  need to be careful in trading.

I don't think it is "easy", those who are good at trading likely are spending a ton of time researching.  If not they did not it likely was luck.  Trading is risky there are a lot of pump/dump coins that people lose money on.  Also those highly invested in alts missed BTC's big surge.

So many say trading in this thread.  But I honestly think it's a much smaller number that are successful enough traders that make .3 BTC per week.  And it would take a decent investment  in most cases to get .3 per week.
731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn money in this forum? on: May 31, 2016, 10:00:21 PM
Yyou can earn from signature campaigns.my rrecomandation is that you should buy two or more accounts with member rank or above and get paid

That is the right way to start earning bitcoin and many campaigns are also paying on daily basis so you can save good number of coins in future.
But to have to accounts could be difficult, because it requires more time to spend on forum. People who are studying or having full time job doesn't have a lot of time to spend on forum. For example, for me it's hard to find time to post while I have only one account. Offcourse, for people who are spending whole day in front of computer, having two or more accounts could be great way to earn some btc, but they should be careful to not start spamming.

I'm not sure I agree I think you will find many that carry a full time job and still use the forum.   I hang around mainly in mining forum but it's pretty common for it to be a hobby and people work a real job to pay the bills.  But still are able to post a good amount of constructive posts.

I think signature's work great if you do your standard posting with it on.  I suggest waiting till full member also how you mention people with multiple accounts posting for signature.... that's kinda a different category most that do that are going to get banned for spam.  There are just so many good posts you can do in a day.  It honestly is not something you can do as a job on posting, I see it as side extra income.

Hello! My name is Mikhail. My bitcointalk.org account MEDVEDja is banned.  Initially, I was banned for 7 days. Then I saw a message Sorry MEDVEDja, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum.Ban evasion
What should i do to get fix my wrong? What should i do to get unban? What should i do to get out of this case and fix it?
There have also been banned accounts: My brothers Vladimir Kostin User Valodja and Nikolai Volkov user valeratolocko. There was also banned account of my father, Sergei Kostin user sergii59.
We have only one internet connection and use the wi-fi router in our hostel. My brothers and my father is also working with cryptocurrency and try to earn some money.
What you need to provide evidence to prove that it is not my accounts? How can you unban them?I can provide links to their pages on social networks.
Even though it looks like I was trying to circumvent the ban, but it is not. I hope you will understand me.

Regards Mikhail!

Likely they are all banned since you ban evaded.   From message it seems you posted outside of meta, or used PM on forum when your account was still banned.  Best advice as far as you is come back in a few months and ask to be unbanned and say what you learned (kinda depends on initial ban what you should have leanred).  Make sure not to bad evade again thinking you will not get caught, wait till (or if) you are unbanned.

I doubt they unban other accounts as if they did everyone banned with multiple accounts would say "Ohh it's my brothers" or "Ohhh it's my farthers". But that is something a admin would decide on.

So others don't have to search:

733  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 Phase and ATX PSU'S? on: May 31, 2016, 09:22:07 PM
As you all can tell i am a noob at electrical wiring. The hot tub has 4 wires coming in. as i can see it is 2 hots a neutral and a ground. I figured it was 3 phase because that's what my DAD said ( Im only 14). But after looking i believe that it is single phase 240 with 2 hots and 1 ground, the neutral in for any 120 systems in the tub. Please let me know if i am missing something.

THANKS!!

My advice is be careful and have your dad help you looking at it.  When I hear 14 and looking at electrical ....  makes me a little worried.  But again I would get your dad to help make sure it's not live so when looking at it you are not in danger.

Do you have a picture of outlet? Or is it just wires ran from electrical box?  Also a picture of breaker might help.  But again get your dad to help during this.
734  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread May 24 to June 6? picks are open!!.... prize = 0.10 btc on: May 31, 2016, 09:14:09 PM
The S9 release date of June 12 could be a real blow ti BitFury and BW.

Looks like you get about 3 weeks of hashing on the S9 before the halving.

I would love for them to do a small release say for 5 or 6 days then stop sales until after the 1/2 ing.

Just cause I am curious, why would you want a "limited Batch" with a two week sales suspension following?

More to the point though, why would Bitmain want that?

We likely will never know, there could be several possible options.  Likely could be they have limited amount of chips, so trying to spread amount out where 1 customer does not own them all.    You can go to more paranoid ones like they are might be using rest to fill internal mines, or filling a big order.   Or could be so no bulk discounts for first adopters.  I mean we could go on and on.  But we likely will not know real reason.

Mining is going to get interesting though, the S9 is looking like a heck of a machine looking at specs. Competition will have to try to catch up now I would guess.
735  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Who thinks Bitcoin will HardFork back to GPU only mining Algorithms? on: May 31, 2016, 09:09:14 PM
Right now, it would appear that Bitmain doesn't expect this to happen. They are apparently "all in" on the SHA256 ASIC road (for good or for bad). I share that opinion as well.

They also appear to be beating competition at releasing 16nm that meets spec, looking at sales page - https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=0002016052907243375530DcJIoK0654 .  So that is huge on getting that big of a efficiency jump.

Will be intersting to see Bitfury and BW's response to how quick they can get gear out of next gen.  Some chips of BW were shown in mining forum but I don't think we know if efficiency was met on those.

One thing is for sure that it will be interesting times going into having, and after.
736  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The Chinese Mining Cartel on: May 31, 2016, 09:05:30 PM
Will be interesting to see what happens after the halving occurs. Chinese electricity is the cheapest after all.
Chiness electricity is the cheapest? how much in usd per kwh?

I believe hes talking about the "mega mines".  It is suspected they get electricity for a very good price, but again it's speculation.   What has been speculated is a few cents.... but again take it as speculation.  Most commercial mines are privately owned so we will never know for sure on price.

But yes many have went to China due to low price, and stable electricity grid.  Here is one example - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=969823.0 . In that mining board you will find others.
737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Gamble Sites Used as Bitcoin Mixers? on: May 31, 2016, 04:37:38 PM
Can gamble sites used for mixing btcs?
Like satoshimines

Example:

Deposit Transaction
1MyDirtyBitcoinAddress ---0.1 BTC--> 1MyGambleSiteDepositAddress

Withdraw Transaction
1AnotherGamblersSiteDepositAddress ---0.1 BTC--> 1MyNewBitcoinAddress

I would say no as no doubt I think gambling sites would keep records.  So there is a possibility a goverment agency could get that info if pushed. Granted depends on country wanting it and where site is hosted.  I just don't see it as a Mixer on any gambling site.

I personally don't use mixers have no reason to as I feel I'm not doing anything "bad".  But I still think best way to stay anomyous if you needed is just mine it yourself.
738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 31, 2016, 04:32:49 PM
You can earn more than 1 btc if you are a great trader, and only in months.
If you have money then make it as your capital in trading.

And there is just holding to.  It does not make 1 BTC in a year as in a year 1 BTC = 1 BTC.  But value can rise, just look at the past week.  People were just holding it made pretty good money in a short amount of time.

You can't count on it, and it's not a sure bet.  But just holding a year could be interesting with having what BTC really does. Trading is great if your on right side, but wrong side and you can lose pretty quickly or miss out on BTC value going up.
739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible? on: May 31, 2016, 04:29:58 PM
Hi guys..i was just wondering is it possible to make some bitcoins by reffering others to btc gambling and faucet sites.if so can anyone tell me what is the best way to get refferals and which site is best for getting some btc that way..thanks
Yes, you can earn btc from your referrals, from faucet, gambling, and investment program.. You can earn easily if  you can attract people to join on your referral links..

But hes fighting a hard battle to get people to use his refferal link.  What does he or someone else have to offer to get people to use his referral ID's?  It is a very competitive and hard to get into thing with referrals in my opinion.

So yes some will make good money off of it.  But it likely is going to be very very few overall making decent money.
740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: May 31, 2016, 04:11:42 PM
Well done that is a heck of a increase in efficiency.   I also really like that it looks like SD slot on it.  Will it run on SD like S4/C1's did? Or is it just for recovery?

Can't wait to see these hitting the streets.
