Because you are an enthusiast and wanted to make sure that it's valuable when you but it or do you want to buy it because you think it's a good investment and it will continue to grow huge? I have no doubt that Monero will continue to increase further like many other interesting coins, but if you are looking for an investment with a huge winning potential I would buy new and promising coins at a lower price level.
I want to buy, because I think it's a good investment and it will continue to grow huge. For now i HOLD over 30 promising coins with low cap. Now am looking at coins with a big market cap to diversify my long term portfolio. |

You can buy Monero in Bittrex and Poloniex. But you have to first buy BTC or ETH to trade in the 2 exchanges. Thank you for the info, much appreciated so if i buy BTC, and then with BTC i exchange to Monero, what happens afterwards? i mean in 6 months for example i want to sell Monero, do i have to exchange it back to BTC? but BTC would have also doubled in price... Sorry i'm a newbie.. If you will hold for over 6 months, You can download the wallet windows/IOS on monero website. That way you will have the private keys, and your coins are secured. Using the exchanges for very large amounts is not a good idea since you may have the risk of losing your tokens if the exchange goes down. By the bitter and poloniex are very trusted exchanges. But remember prevention is better than cure. but if you are new to crypto and your investment amount is small, you can comfortable keep your coins in the exchanges. |

It is pretty high and you might no make too much. A better option is to invest in Deeponion. Similar to Monero, but better. Also it has a giant community and the market cap is very low. That is your best bet right now and what I am doing.
Deeponion!!!!, i don't now much about it. The only thing i see every where is deeponion airdrop. i agree that the community is big. But i think is too early to invest in deeponion. all the same i will do some research on this. Also i only use bittrix for personal reasons. |

Monero is the answer for someone who is looking for anonymity, and I believe the coin price will continue rising. I have been charting Monero for a long trade, and it shows Monero is still in healthy uptrend from 08/2016 I'm sure the price will keep growing, just find a good entry point at 0.0138 - 0.0154 I believe its the reload zone for Monero. Last but not least, don't take this as financial advice, do your research.

I want to buy moreno now, I have been watching this coin for sometime but for whatever reason i haven't bought yet. Planning on HOLD it for 6 mounts at least. The price now looks too HIGH. Looking at it's price now, you are right that it aint a good time to buy now but if your planning to hold it for 6 months, somehow you will gain profit but you wont have big gains. I am certain because Monero rarely moves prices now and if ever it dumped after 6 months, you would have to hold it for a longer time. Instead of looking into Monero why not invest on other coins with potential? There is a lot out there IMO just look for profitable altcoins to invest into. Of course i also look at other potential coins to invest in. Monero is one of them. But noow a days they are a lot of coins out there which may be good for a 6 months hold. Am looking closely at digibyte, lisk and EOS. Which coins with great potential in your opinion are you personally looking at to invest in now? |

Airdrops are usually pump and dump coins, you are lucky if you got an airdrop that will profit in the future because as of now most of the airdrop that are being given away and being pump has no values. I have participated in about 6 Airdrops and only 2 of it gave me some money and the rest doesnt have any value in the market.
But don't you think if they don't have any value in the market now, they will do in the future? The crypto world is still at a developing stage. |

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)
I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.
Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)
Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)
Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.
Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Check his profile (the person who created this thread) and you will see his last post was on 26/09/2015. A lot of questions on my mind about this person. |

It may indeed be a sleeping Giant, but the development and marketing team still have a lot of work to do. The concept and idea is good but more work needs to be done. Strat need a much bigger community to back it. Am not trying to compare it to other projects but so far the marketing is not impressive enough to awaken the giant.

I see ETH over $1000 for sure. But the concern is in a very long term (i mean 5 years) people will lose faith in ICOs and sh*t tokens, since a lot of them are scams these days and ETH will lose its value. The price is only increasing very fast this year because of all these ICO hypes. Hoping one day the dust will settle and we will know the most useful & valuable coins. ETH is very good for day trading but for long term HOLDINGS there are better coins (projects) out there.
Back to OP, definitely ETH $1000 in 2Q 2018 in my opinion.

This is Dash on longterm charts :   I think Dash longterm has the potential to grow a lot against the btc value, thereby driving up both the fiat price and the marketcap. Specially with a stagnating Bitcoin price, where investors will start to think about diversifying their holdings. It is very possible that dash may get to $1,000 before end of January 2017! We can actually testified about how from ground this coin started to make some progress and today we are above $500. Outside bitcoins dash is currently the most price coins in the market. I have been working hard to study the price action of each of the coins and I can really tell you that dash is going to the moon and now remain the best time to buy it. For those calling dash a scam they should do their homework very well so they should not be lift behind.
