721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't look for investment, just hodle! on: September 06, 2023, 07:07:40 PM
The reason why so many newbies have missed their steps in Bitcoin is because they have missed the primary approach to avoid getting into the wrong investment,  because we all know the risk associated with cryptocurrency for that there is need to clarify one thing which is is burn out of personal research.

Reason why many fail for scam is because they are looking for investment instead of just holding Bitcoin and wait for it value to appreciate organically,  there is no doubt that DCA approach is good but then also if a newbie os not careful you could lose along the line of DCA so DCA is out of this discussion,  but let dive into something more realistic taking recent happenings with so many investment scam,  exchanges ditching off their clients money and so many other scam projects platform and signals that are notable bad actors in the market.

To avoid all this,  it become paramount to only abide by one rules which is to keep Bitcoin in your wallet and stop looking for investment that are centralized to reduce your risk.

Just a friendly advice!

I mean Bitcoin is great as an investment sure if you're going to buy Bitcoin for sure that is the main reason why we buy Bitcoin anyway I mean I dont know anyone who bought Bitcoin that doesnt treat Bitcoin as their investment or doesnt expect any kind of return on Bitcoin. For sure Bitcoin was just a new thing back in the day a few years ago, There was no such proof that Bitcoin going to guarantee profit so it was obviously risky to invest in Bitcoin in the past years, even now the market price is just supply and demand.

I can clearly see your point here but I think the best way to say it is to only invest what you can afford since it is just not expecting anything on return on your cryptocurrency because that just means you could hold for a long term because you not expecting anything, I completely agree with it since a lot of newbies are just buying cryptocurrency expecting a big return already, the trick is to HODL for long term until the Bullrun, which is, in my opinion, is going to be difficult if you're just going to make Bitcoin or cryptocurrency your main source of income, if you have multiple sources of income you could easily HODL for long term investment since you dont need the profit quickly if you have a emergency.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagining what he will be like the last halving on: September 06, 2023, 04:33:10 PM
Well most of us are waiting the next bitcoin halving and speculate about how it will affect the network, mining, fees, and prices

But I wonder how the bitcoin environment will be in years of the last halving. (I know i am not going to live to see that but in any case i want to dream a little with that).

So, picture this: It's near the year 2134 or 2138, and we've experienced the last-ever bitcoin halving. At this point, miners are going to get only 1 Satoshi per mined block, plus transaction fees. It's a far cry from the current scenario and for the next period of 4 years only 210000 new satoshis will be created. That made me think that we need to start trying to save every satoshi available.

For miners, it's safe to assume that transaction fees will go through the roof. As the mining reward shrinks, miners will need to get creative to keep their operations profitable. They might start looking into greener, more sustainable energy sources to cut costs and invest in better mining hardware to maximize their returns.

On the other hand, for folks like us, the incentive to spend our bitcoins may decrease. With rewards diminishing and fees on the rise, there's a stronger argument for holding onto our digital treasure unless it's absolutely necessary. Think of it as a futuristic savings account where every satoshi saved feels like a victory.

In the end, none of us may live to see the year 2138, but it's exciting to imagine how the world of bitcoin will evolve after the last halving. The balance between mining rewards and fees, along with the motivations of miners and users, will surely transform. Who knows what kind of innovative solutions and changes are in store? Until then, let's keep dreaming and HODLing those precious satoshis!

What are your thoughts about the future of bitcoin in times of the last halving ?

For sure we dont know what is going to happen in the future and we are not sure how the market is going to react, but if we are going to have a basis for sure the market price is going to skyrocket just because of the low market supply since we will not be able to have Bitcoin or mine Bitcoin anymore at a higher rate like in the past years, we could expect the market price to increase, since we can already see the Bitcoin adaptation is increasing in many countries and even in my countries cryptocurrency is already getting popular a lot.

To be honest, I dont really know what is going to happen if all of the Bitcoin is already mined, is it going to skyrocket the market price? or bring it down? Or is it going to evolve? Also, a lot of platforms area already adopting Bitcoin in a few years new technology could be integrated with cryptocurrency and even now we dont really know if cryptocurrency has some kind of proof that it is going to stay as an investment after a few years. But for now, we already see how the market reacted to the Bitcoin halving event we can already see it on the Bitcoin halving timeline.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy is now being powered by cryptocurrencies. on: September 05, 2023, 09:28:17 AM
I mean cryptocurrencies have high transaction fees if the network has a lot of congestion I mean 1 small transaction could cost you up to 100$ each transaction you could already see the Ethereum network how high its fee is when the NFTs become popular. Bank transactions will cost less and it is more reliable and faster than cryptocurrency transactions for sure because banks are centralized platforms.

Cryptocurrency is prone to hacking we could already see a lot of people getting hacked and its not 100% hack proof even though there where still no one that could crack or hack for example Bitcoin we are still not sure if it is going to stay that way, I mean there was no such thing as safe in the internet everyone is prone to hacking.

There are a lot of positive and negative factors of cryptocurrency in a country but for sure it still needs a lot of adaptation and growth in order to use this kind of technology since it's probably something new to most of the country since there was still no basis on cryptocurrency. We don't know if cryptocurrency is still going to exist after 5 or 10 years, so it's still a risky option, for me I just treat cryptocurrency as a investment and i just investment the money that i can afford to lose.
724  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? on: September 05, 2023, 03:41:21 AM
What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? Will you give up all your investments and get out of crypto because of this ? Or do you you have even more broader horizon and can wait longer to see the next bull run ?

Personally, I am very much positive with bitcoin future but we should also be prepared for all situations. Nothing can be guarantee in present times and we must also be prepared for worst situations.

I mean the cryptocurrency market is just so volatile and we can't really predict the market so it is probably possible to not have a Bull run in the next 10 years It is possible but it doesn't mean that it is going to happen even though it is possible, A lot of factors are going to affect the market price of Bitcoin so something could happen like for example war maybe world war III is going to happen next year, so are we sure that the market is just going to circulate the same way or the traditional way? I mean on the world war market price of Bitcoin could just drop to 100$ or maybe could skyrocket to a million dollars.

Let's be real here a lot of people are investing in cryptocurrency because of the profit probably almost all of the investors here are just aiming for profit, I mean this is an investment and that is just the main goal of it to earn profit. There are some kinds of fandom and believers or we could say that but you are lying if you're going to say that you just want to buy Bitcoin and aim for a possible profit in the future.

Personally, I am not sure what I'm going to do if, in the next 10 years, there is no kind of Bullrun, not sure I'm going to be fine since I have multiple sources of income and I don't really rely on Bitcoin profit as my main source of income so I don't have a problem surviving.
725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A good way to help our children. on: September 05, 2023, 02:40:12 AM
Our children will not be as lucky as we are, we have to help them to know about bitcoins on time so they can have some for themselves. We are lucky because we are of age to know and understand what bitcoin is at this time when the value of bitcoins is still expected to increase not like our children who have no idea and it may be too late for them to make any gain from bitcoin when they finally know about bitcoins if you leave them. A good gift any parent can give to their children for their future is to enlighten their children about bitcoins so they have some knowledge about it at an early age and buy some for the children even before they can begin to get for themselves. What do you think?

I mean it is a good thing to teach your children Bitcoin because it is just a waste if you're not going to at least try to teach this kind of investment in their lifetime. Bitcoin is just the thing in my experience that just changed my mindset when it comes to finances and because of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency I learned a lot about savings and investments, and I actually want to learn more about how I am going to earn more and achieve financial freedom.

For sure not everyone is going to like cryptocurrency and Bitcoin so you can't really force your children to learn Bitcoin, but I guess it is just a matter of time and how you handle your children since if you going to ask someone where they give attitude something like they always wanted to investment and save money they would probably say that they get it from their parents right. So over time if you're going to make them save money for their future they are going to learn the importance of it and they get interested in Bitcoin as well, In my opinion, it is just a matter of how you're going to teach it to your children, right timing and right approach. Just don't force anyone to invest because its still a risk investment and you could lose money in cryptocurrency if you are not careful.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries where Bitcoin is “banned” on: September 04, 2023, 06:20:48 PM
I mean we can't expect everyone to accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrency for sure there will be some countries that are not going like cryptocurrency and ban it in their country but it wasn't completely banned since probably all of the people around the world could easily access Bitcoin since it's on the internet, or probably they might try to control bitcoin but for sure they can't do it because it just like banning the internet on their country so people can still invest on bitcoin even though it is banned on their country as long as they know what they are doing. But it can probably be tracked since if you going to convert it to cash you are going need to do bank transactions and you probably your gonna need a P2P transaction.

But they might get in trouble so if they are not willing to take the risk it's probably better to not try Bitcoin at all since it's also risky as an investment plus on their government. Compared to the past year Bitcoin has already been adopted in a lot of countries but at the same time a lot of governments didn't allow it as well, which is in my opinion pretty normal thing because cryptocurrency is just a new thing where the government dont want something that they cant circulate or control since it is decentralized.
727  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga upcoming crypto web events sa mga mahihilig umattend on: September 04, 2023, 02:36:06 PM
So Dati ang mga events about crypto is madalas sa ibang bansa pero after few years nagkaroon na dito satin ng mga events na masasabi natin na we belong dahil nkakasalamuha na natin iyong dating minsan ay nakikita lang din natin sa youtube at saka sa news via internet, so anu ba mga pinupunta natin dun, syempre prize, mga giveaways at the same time, tinitignan natin if maganda ung project na lalabas duon or ipapakilala kaya naman naisip ko na ipost ito dahil may mga friends ako na umaattend talaga at nageenjoy sila at nakakuha ng mga souvenirs at iba pa, ito ang mga upcoming events na parang baka interesado kayo at para lang din aware tayo narito ang links, hindi ito advertise gusto ko lang din na bka may mga gusto na mkapunta at di pa nila alam na meron:

Bacolod unleashed Crypto event  sept 9
narito ang ibang information about dito:
https://bitpinas.com/business/web3-unleashed-crypto-event-bacolod/

PH web3 festival sa BGC Nov 14-18
Narito naman ang information about sa event:
https://www.phweb3festival.com/

728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: September 03, 2023, 11:38:43 PM
I don't understand there are so many bounty in bounty section. Because a YouTuber made video and I saw. He says make account and than earn money with bounty and I don't have knowledge?

Bounties sre not profitable here in the forum unlike before, but there are still plenty of bounty in the Bounty section where you could join and promote, I mean if you are lucky you could probably earn a decent amount of money but most likely your not going to earn anything because it jist wast that popular anymore unlike ICO in the past these days moss of the bounties are scam so its not really prfitable anymore. There are still some signsture campaigns here the forum where you could join if you are qualify to.

Joining the signature campaign was great since your learning and sharing your experience at the same time your are also earning a good amount on signsture campaign. But it wasnt really enough as a only source of inclme so i suggest to just make it a side hustle and find other source of income if you can.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I choose Bitcoin (and you'll must choose it too) on: September 03, 2023, 10:48:23 PM
I can agree with it, plus we have the upcoming Butcojn halving so we could easily expect a lotof investors aregokng to get back on track here. Remembering the past Bitcoin halving this is a similar scenario market price is already going to skyrocket probably months before even the Bitcoin halving event we probably we could already expect 40k$ in the end of the year or either esrly next year.September was not a good month if i remember correctly in the past so i sont really expect any this momth. I dont really expect anything my only goal is the Bullrun and aiming for long term investment . In my opinion this is a better methos and dollar cost averaging. Most of the cruptocurrency is going to skyrocket  so as long as you are going to sell on the Bullrun or just aiming for that it wouldnt really matter as long as your going to start accumulating today and only sell at the top.

731  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 03, 2023, 09:57:39 PM
If I remember correctly September was not really a good month for cryptocurrency and Bitcoin so we probably can't expect anything this month and the market price is probably going to drop to a lower market price or probably going to just sustain to a certain level we dont really know but I dont really expect anything this month since the main goal of it is on the Bullrun that is probably going to be on 2024 or 2025 something like that.

I mean the best thing to do is to not really expect anything from cryptocurrency and Bitcoin so that you do not really have to worry about anything and you could invest for the long term in it, but probably we could expect the market price to go back to 30k$ in the ber months on October, November, and December until next year on the march we could expect a price increase just because of the upcoming Bitcoin halving, just like what happened before a lot of investors are going to buy and accumulate Bitcoin again because of the upcoming Bitcoin halving hype. Probably months before the Bitcoin halving there is always some kind of small pump.
732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: September 03, 2023, 09:34:04 PM
Generally, most people sees Bitcoin as being of high risk , meanwhile, others tend to disagree with the fact of being risky.

Bitcoin can be understood from different angles on how it will become beneficial to one. Either as a store of value(So as to avoid taxes), Investment or means of payment.

I believe there are a lot of different ways to invest your time and money, with a little work and the right teacher, one can easily invest in bitcoin.

In a case where some persons tag Bitcoin as being Risky(Yes it is), I have experience losses because I lacked those vital principles one should understand even before investing. Also knowing when to sale out my investments for profit, permit me to say more of a paper hand(panick and sell when price is down) and this should not be encouraged.

This forum has helped me very extensively on different levels, knowing when to buy, how to buy and wallet much safer to store my investments.
Being on this forum has helped me a lot I now know how not to fall for scams and by foolishly Linking my investment wallet for Airdrops or giveaways.
This is believing... Knowledge is wealth

It is risky just because of the volatile market price, I mean yes you could easily invest in it and probably hold your Bitcoin in the long term but is it guaranteed that the market price is going to skyrocket and we are going to make a lot of money on the Bullrun? cryptocurrency does not really have any proof that it is something you could use as an investment compared to the stock market where you are investing in company stocks, the market would depend on the company value or something like that. But cryptocurrency value is just going to depend on supply and demand in the market, meaning we could easily lose a big amount of money here in the cryptocurrency market even though we know. or do we believe that the market price is going to go back or increase again? do we really know that? I mean market price could drop as low as possible because this is cryptocurrency, The Bitcoin market price could be 100$ tomorrow if something bad happens. That is why it is a risk.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin achievement on: September 03, 2023, 03:29:36 PM
then my initial life was not positive, I don't know what to do with my life. one day my friend encourage me to invest on Bitcoin despite my Reservation about Bitcoin, I eventually became persuaded. then I purchase a Bitcoin in 2017 and invested it. from there I became engaged with a forum and began contributing over time, since then I become an established Bitcoin investor.

Guess what, ever since my friend introduced me to Bitcoin and I invested on it, things have never remain the same with me. investing in Bitcoin have given me what I could imagine to achieve in short period of time.
(1) I live alone in the house. but now, I have wife and children.
(2) I was living in a rented apartment. but now, I live in my own house.
(3)  I was tricking to places. but now, Bitcoin have giving me a car.
(4) before I don't have any source of income. but now, Bitcoin is my source of income.

friends, in short period of time, BTC have given me what I needed to have as a man. what is, your own achievement's with Bitcoin.

One thing here is Bitcoin is an investment and not really a consistent source of income since it doesnt really give consistent income something like a full-time job. Its very risky to make Bitcoin your only source of income doing something like daily trading.

For sure Bitcoin is going to change our life, I mean when I already knew and learned what cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is it's really the key to changing my mindset in the long term and it really changed me making me more conscious when it comes to my finance, started to learn how to earn, how to become rich, how to invest, how to save something like that. For me, the mindset is just what you need in order to become successful.

I was listening to a podcast about finance, and one thing really hit me on what I heard, If you going to give money like 1millon dollars to someone who doesnt have the right mindset you could easily expect that after a month all of the money is gonna and they already spend it to something. But if you're going to give it to someone who has the right mindset after a month probably the million dollars is already multiplied because he probably invested it in something not just spend it on his wants.
734  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panu labanan ang sweeper bots on: September 02, 2023, 09:47:13 PM

735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope is all I have left on: September 02, 2023, 09:02:56 PM
For people like us who still struggles to invest money on Bitcoin I want to know if one day, 1 sat can ever cost as much as 1 cent? Is this possible? Sorry I can't afford to dollar cost into Bitcoin like everyone else, it's very hard for me, all I need is hope.

I can only afford to invest into Bitcoin once in two month and that's not every with big money, you should understand my situation, I am too shamed to call a number.

Is there any hope for small Bitcoin buyers like myself? Can 1Sat ever be 1 Cent one day?

The market price of Bitcoin is volatile so there is always a possibility that a certain market price is going to reach. In my opinion, you could buy  Bitcoin how small it or how small it is, there was no limit price to what you can buy you could even buy Bitcoin for 1$ you're gonna need to buy it as P2P I guess because in certain platforms there is minimum amount probably around 10. If you having difficulty affording Bitcoin like you have said, I mean buying Bitcoin every two months is not bad at all as long as you invest in it it's fine already. Like you said you are already able to buy Bitcoin using your funds even though it doesnt matter what the price or how much Bitcoin is, the problem here isn't the price of Bitcoin. The problem is your income, if you not even earning the minimum in your country I mean I guess just find a job. Because in reality Bitcoin is an investment and you're gonna need funds in order to invest in it, if you doesnt have the fund, bitcoin is not for you what you need is to find a job first.

You know Bitcoin is a risky investment and if you dont even have some kind of savings or emergency funds you should not buy Bitcoin at all because in the end for sure you're just gonna end up losing your money, because if you're just relying on bitcoin as your main profit your gonna end up selling it when the market price drop. There are a lot of opportunities for jobs out there that is what I realized when I quit my first job, so if you don't want to get a job you're the problem because you are lazy.

737  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: September 01, 2023, 11:59:31 PM
Since the year started with a good results by moving from $20k to $24k this year, show that the price of BTC and crypto will move higher to satisfy investors soon. Now that the month is moving faster and investors need to think faster so that they will not miss their reward at the end of the year. The price of BTC just drop down to $22k few days ago, which is another opportunity for those that missed last year not to invest in a stable coins to do it now because, the price of BTC will surely reach $80k before the end of this year 2023.
Are you sure investors will experience $80 this year?

Probably it is not going to happened this year because it is just too early for that kind of market price, the all time high was just near that market price so we can expect it already. If we are goin to compare the cryptocurrency today to the past year we can clearly see that cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is just mich more popular this day. Meaning there were just too many users today than in the past years. Cryptocurrency is already adapted in a lot of countries and even banks are already supporting Bitcoin, in my country you could buy and sell cryptocurrency on there platform using the application.

For sure 80k$ is just an realistic price to reach but it is not going to happened this year, my speculation this year was only around 40k$ in the end of the year, because probably we could expect a small pump in the end of the year or maybe next year because peopl is going to realize that the Bitcoin halving event is near.
738  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin is not rising soon!. on: September 01, 2023, 04:44:58 PM
The movement of price index has clearly show that the price will not rise this year, is almost half a year now since the price drops, this is far beyond inflation and fiscal policy of the government, I think bitcoin is suffering heavy weight withdrawals and it might end up been this Stuart for the year.

Out of  100% of international market chats bitcoin is beneath the range price counts of crude oil, gas, gold and diamond, that's means bitcoin is far from rising soon.
What do you think?

I mean it's cryptocurrency so there is always a possibility that the market price could be triggered and increase but probably it is just going to be a normal pump, a few percent, or could be around 30k$. To be honest, no one really thinks that the Bull Run is going to happen this year Most of the investors are just accumulating cryptocurrency at this time so that they could easily sell it on the Bull Run. If there is a time when there is a possibility for the market price to move it is probably going to be at the end of the year because most of the time at the end of the market price gets a lot of movement and skyrockets.

I'm really expecting the market price to skyrocket in 2025 or maybe 2024 if we are early, compared to the past month's Bitcoin adaptation was just huge, and even if some platforms Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are already adapted and used that just means that it could easily attract millions of users using their platform. We just need to HODL our investment in the long term because it is just way to risky to sell your investment in just a small amount of time because you're just gonna end up losing in the market.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: August 31, 2023, 11:32:00 PM
I've learned a lot in finance about how I'm going to save and invest my money because of cryptocurrency I started to change my mindset and stop just spending my profit, I started to listen to a lot of financial podcasts that could help me how to be disciplined and budget my salary and investment at the same time.

One thing I learned is to always keep track of our expenses, when we have the money it just quickly disappears because of our spending and we are not aware that we already don't have the money, it is just because we are not keeping track of what we buy. We i started to do it I always managed and kept the budget on. One of the best pieces of advice that I get is simply not to buy what you can afford as well as, to invest more than spending, if you going to do that I can guarantee that you're going to have great savings and finance. What I always do is always invest a big amount probably around 40% up to 60% of my salary then budget it with only around 10% that I can use for spending.

Please do not assume I am asking if "you got really rich from BTC". For example, has Bitcoin/Crypto changed the way you shop, or earn weekly income? Has BTC helped you feel more optimistic and excited about the future? etc. I am getting started late compared to many others, but I see many great days ahead. Thanks for being here at the forum!

Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life?

Absolutely, not really when I was just getting started on cryptocurrency because I did make a lot of mistakes and lost a big amount of money, but because of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and this forum I learned a lot of knowledge about it and in the end, it changes my mindset on how I look my finances, not it is a really big help because I know what to do with my savings and investment, and it just change my life even though I still not some kind of rich guy that has million of dollars of money, but can really see my growth and improvement compared to the past years on how I handle things.

I was just a student when I was a newbie on Bitcoin, and really great to earn a large amount of money on cryptocurrency especially if you are just a student having the money to afford what you want, it really changed my life earning that amount even though I didn't even have a full-time job. I just wish that I'm able to save more of my money that time not just spending most of it on some gadget or things but actually putting it into something that could generate passive income.
