extra advice to add..
after the snapshot date. move the coins. so that the bitcoins are no longer on private key of (ops eg:)"123456789qwertyuiop" using a bitcoin wallet. so that while the bitcoin gold still has coins on that (ops eg:)"123456789qwertyuiop". you no longer have them on the same privkey on the bitcoin side to worry about any cross over
then.. knowing the bitcoin gold snapshot has coins on private key of "123456789qwertyuiop". your then safer to import privkey into a bitcoingold wallet without worry of some hacker/middleman attack taking your privkey to empty your bitcoin stash..
personal note.. i prefer to think of core as the bitcoin gold altcoin. or just naming it segwit as they do NOT want it used as a peer-to-peer currency, they prefer the hub/spoke reserve currency. much like how gold transactions occur.
but then again core have always been screwed up with their buzzwords/ bait and switches and twisting the truth
Definitely do this, when people were trying to claim their Bitcoin Cash I saw many threads about people just putting their private keys into these wallets and websites to claim their Bitcoin Cash and not moving their existing Bitcoin out and were just lucky that nothing untoward happened. Be safe and not sorry

Cryptopay is one of two cards I have used and I have very little to complain about, the fact that Cryptopay has been around for a while with a proven track record gives it more credence than the majority of ICOs out there, good luck!

Hey there. Is the stake count for translation campaign final? Stake count for thread moderation was not added, thats why I am asking.
The bounty campaign is over. Next week we will distribute the tokens Does that mean that we can now remove our signatures? now that the ico is finished, and the posts have been counted, can we now remove the signature ??
Hi Adel, yes, you can. Thank you Laziness on my part, i could have just gone back a bit to find the answer ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Cheers

It is difficult in this current climate with so many ICOs going on to determine which ones will work out and which ones are no good, but the same as it has been with many of the altcoins, it is all about doing a decent amount of research, check out the community behind the coin, see what the opinions are on this forum and use a bit of your own instinct.

Satoshi might return at some point who knows, could be Tupac for all we know or an advanced AI.

A couple that come to mind, the fact it isn't accepted everywhere is a major pain and also the nagativity that is always associated with bitcoin whenever you hear about it in the mainstream although this is starting to change.

It would depend on the project, if the project is solid then it could be worth the investment but make sure to spend time and research well before investing.

If it is known that you have bitcoin and it is raised then would need to share it, if she doesn't know then why should you.

We also just recently had JP Morgan calling it a fraud and it will be closed, most countries and especially the banking cartels will be against bitcoin and crypto currencies, they will ultimately fail in the long run.

I would have thought that this would be one of those ICOs that went through the roof, surprised as AR, VR and the like is very current and will be the future for gaming, I suppose if you got in early on this we could all be happy once it takes off.

If you are looking to just throw money blindly then this seems as reasonable a strategy as any, at some point some of them might move up but you could be backing a dead horse without knowing anything about the coins.
It would be far more sensible to look into these coins first and make an informed decision but if you have the $4,000 to spare then hell why not let us know how it goes.

There are loads I would like to see bitcoin more involved in. Subscriptions such as Netflix, Spotify etc.
Amazon supposedly will be looking to add bitcoin as an optin to accept bitcoin, if that is true then all we need is ebay and I think we are well on our way to a great 2018.

Mycelium is a great wallet, you get to keep your private keys and for me it has posed no issues yet, a few people I know have also used it and have never had any issues.

We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.
That's the trick, nobody quite knows when exactly it will go down or when it will go up, people can guess based on recent happenings in the banking world, regulations, politics and so on but there is no way of successfully knowing each time.

Bittrex for me is the best, although it might not list every coin which is not a bad thing, it is a solid secure and professional exchange.
If you are more concerned with the amount of coins available then I would suggest Yobit as they list almost everything.

Transaction fees will be the reward, it is a good bit away right now so who knows what the world will look like at that time, imagine if bitcoin really broke through and was the main global currency, the fees would be very much worth it.

No way! really 5 BTC for Cryptopia?? wow that is seriously out there. To be fair nobody should be paying to be on an exchange, the exchanges will pick you up sooner or later if you are worth your salt.

I was hoping it would drop a little bit lower than it did, Dimon must not be as powerful as he thought as bitcoin bounced back pretty quickly from his stupid comment.
