721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] What is the shittiest coin? - The definitive coin poll on: April 04, 2014, 07:48:44 PM
Wish could select multiple coins, as basically all country coin pump&dump 50-100% premine coins are the shittiest.

Ahh what a bummer. I would be very interested in the symbolism and history behind it, I'd imagine that would be a very interesting research project xD
723  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will money and currency be like in 10 years or 25 years? on: April 04, 2014, 07:44:01 PM
First of all, probably hyperinflation unless we start going backed to being backed by something that is actually worth it. IDK if its possible for US to pay off there debt in 10-25 years, and it seems that USD will just keep getting inflated. But like payment systems wise, I hope that we can get rid of physical cash, and like using a gestured base system,  such as with a NFC ring or some sorts, maybe eye scanning to confirm? Hopefully payment systems has convenient biometric security, as that seems to be the way to go.
724  Other / Off-topic / What else could become "decentralized " on: April 04, 2014, 07:39:25 PM
What could and would benefit from becoming decentralized?
Government?
Banking?
File-sharing? (If its not already lol)
Just some examples.... Probably more.

Adolf Hitlers birthday?

Why would people smoke to that? I don't smoke, but I would definitely not smoke to that.

727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining is dead on: April 04, 2014, 07:09:10 PM
Still some new coins are profitable. But yes profit margin is reduced drastically.

Right now. If you hold and when BTC returns to $600 ish, I'd imagine Altcoin mining profitability would also go up.
728  Other / Off-topic / What makes 4/20 significant? on: April 04, 2014, 07:05:47 PM
Excuse if I come across as arrogant/ignorant/naïve but what is the significance of this number? I realize its "national weed day" ( or so I hear) but what is the actually history behind this?
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][LIM] LimeCoin X11 Algo | Launching 6-April-2014 on: April 04, 2014, 07:02:28 PM
But you do nothing that like HIRO does, maybe darksend but that's it. Maybe you guys could be the first coin x11 that has a POS rate? Maybe a marketplace/exchange on launch? That kind of thing is what gets people interested, past the first couple hundred low difficulty then dump blocks.

I think we must support new alts coin because this will generate more competition, more adventages, new updates and more, this coin is using the new x11 algo, They are jumping in a new era of more secure cryptocoins, Its our Job that new coins get strength and make them grow.

Certainly we never know what coin could be next bitcoin children, but i wish to

Hopefully x11 doesn't get pumped full of sh*t coins like scrypt.....

PreCrime could you give me your opinion about my last post? Smiley   thank you.

Yeah I completely agree with you, but the market doesn't needed to be flooded with 100% premine IPO P&D market manipulator scams. Right now all of it's on scrypt, but I doubt it will stay there as I'd imagine that scrypt ASICS could 51% hardfork/doublespend the newer, lesser hash rate networks.

Always use a trusted escrow. If feedback from other investors are bad u should cancel. Always go for innovative coins

Edgecoin? They are using Annonxxx (forgot the numbers) I would like to invest in them, but IDK if I can make the cut-off date. I would also like to invest in The Munich Project, but IDK if all the people in thread are calling it a scam just FUD spreaders/ trolls or not. I will look back and see what coins I'm interested in that have a IPO currently, and post here to see what you guys think.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: April 04, 2014, 06:29:04 PM
@precrime3 Right, that's why we didn't add it to the multiport.. it's a brand new coin, and looked way too volatile. It could have easily been to 0.01 and back to 0.0000001 by the time most people that would have mined it on the multiport would notice a new coin was added and it is sitting in their accounts. The price does seem fairly stable and rising today though, with reasonable profitability, so if that continues for a few more hours at least we'll probably add it to the multiport.

Don't bother, it'll be gone in like 72 hours xD. It tried to do what Mt. Gox coin attempted, but this one has had more "success" Also, the coin has triple in price with a 3.4k % increase in volume.... NO way that can stay stable IMO.
735  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will miners in USA be able to remain competitive due to huge tax burden? on: April 04, 2014, 06:22:57 PM
I think the plan in the U.S. is to destroy Bitcoin by legitimizing it (enter the IRS). That way they don't have to look all totalitarian by banning it like other countries.

Interesting theory, it sure seems to be working Tongue
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HBN Investment Journal - 2% returns every ten days - 80,000+ HBN Porfolio on: April 04, 2014, 05:56:11 PM
What do you guys think of the POS rate of Philosopher stones? For me that was the first POS coin I saw.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HBN Investment Journal - 2% returns every ten days - 80,000+ HBN Porfolio on: April 04, 2014, 05:54:39 PM
Do you think there is a future for HBN? All this talk, I might consider buying into HBN. Theres definetley a volume increase and a piqued interest according to market caps xD

I definitely think there is a future to HBN.  Is HBN going to be used as a currency to buy goods?  There is a long ways to go for that.  Right now I see HBN being the go to hobby/learning/community coin in the future, and especially with GPU mining era coming to a close.  Maybe once it gets more adoption we will see larger amounts of charity work done with the coin, and more merchants joining the fun.

That is just a guess, but I am definitely a long term holder, rather than a trader.

I plan on holding as of the stake xD It just seems 2% every 10 days.... IDK not worth it?
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining is dead on: April 04, 2014, 05:43:01 PM
There is nothing left to mine, it all is basically unprofitable now. I can't even sell my mining equipment on Ebay, trying to sell 1.9 m/h system using 3 Twin Frozr 7950 gpu's for 1100.00 and no takers on Craigslist. I won't part it out on Fleabay because losers will buy the gpu's and use them for 45 days then say they are not as described. So I guess I will just throw the shit in the garbage.  I have a number of miners and no way to sell it.  The noise and wear and tear on the miners is not worth the measly few dollars it makes a day after electricity costs. Litecoin falls everyday, bitcoin is flushing down the shitter, and all the rest of the shit coins are done for also.

Mine x11? It uses less electricity, and outputs less heat. Personally I think this algo has a bright future for the mid-term at least. I think HIRO and Darkcoin are going to be big. You can also lease rigs, which are VERY profitable.

Stick with BTC and LTC and you won't go wrong.

I know, but there are some promising new coins, and I like taking a risk on getting a piece of NEW pie if that makes sense  Cheesy
