Habe gestern die Heizlostenabrechnung bekommen. Es ist schon krank das die Fernwärme teuerer ist als mit Heizlüftern (Strom) zu Heizen. Und das obwohl strom in Deutschland inzwischen dank der extremen Besteuerung so teuer geworden ist  . (Ersparnis zwischen 2x-6x !) Perfekt ist wenn man ein eigenes Haus hätte, dann mit Solar mined um die Wärme als Heizung zu verwenden :-) Bin aber leider in einer Mietwohnung. Das blöde ist diese Heizungzähler messen die Raumtemperatur und dann muss man zahlen obwohl man selbst mit Strom geheizt hat.  Ich habe geschafft die max übertaktete Karte auf 52 grad Luftkühlung zu bekommen  und ich ich könnte noch weiter runter wenn ich wollte mach aber keinen Sinn glaube ich. |

I had calculated the efficency from the official TDP Value on wikipedia and the max. Hashing values of the Litecoin wiki.
The 7970 and the 7950 are identical efficent in theory.Why do you rate the difference as "nowhere near"?
Any examples or experiences? (So far i tested 7970, 5970 and 6870)
I recognised that some manufatures are better than others.
so i gett only 710khash out of the possible 800khash.

Ein guter Tipp den ich noch weitergeben möchte.
Wenn man einen neuen Geschäftspartner nicht kennt (egal ob eine Fiat-Bank oder Bitcoin-Exchange)
kann man sich absichern in dem man mit kleinen Beträgen erstmal alle Funktionen testet (Einzahlen,Auszahlen,Kundenservice Antwortzeit)
Ich habe es mit je 5% meines Investment getestet und es hat sich gelohnt, weil von 6 getesten war ein schwarzes Schaf dabei.

Das ist nur fair.
MtGox hat sich zuviel mist geleistet und hat sich wie ein Monopolist benommen.
MtGox war mit zu riskant daher hatte ich u.a. andere Anbieter getestet und Bitstamp war der schnellste mit dem besten Service.

Offcource i could lower the system watt requierement from 60 Watt to 20 Wattt when i buy a multi PCIe board.
But even without the 60 from the system i would be 0,02€ in minus.
My goal is not to earn pennies :-) i need at least twice of the powercost so aas example (4,5€ = ~ 2,5€ Win per day) to get a Roi of 100 days for the graphicard (250€).
I planned to invste 1600€ in graphiccard mining. So i made a test first if it could be profitable.
But it is not :-( .
In germany we have a terror goverment ;-) which tripple taxed the powercost ! all taxes togever are ~66%
It is impossible to get a Kilwatt under 0,20 cent (0,27$) and not even with 50000kw/h per year offers.

i am just wondering that i am in minus when mining 300% coins (selected from coinchoose),
i have tried nearly every coin at 300% + middlecoin and multicoinpool which have and switching function to the most profitable coin.
I get approximatly 0.02 BTC in Value per Day which is about 1,80€ (90€/BTC)
but my Powercosts for the overclocked HD 7970 which needs 0,365 kw (hole PC)
are 24h x 0,365w = 8,76 kwh per day at 0,249€ = 2,18€
So i am ~ 0,38€ in Minus!
Even when i would use the Prise for business Current i where 5cent in minus.
I mean the 7970 (710Khash @ 305 watt) is one of the most efficent cards, so what is wrong here ?

Sadly this isnt profitable for me, i make minus. I get approx 200 HBN per day with my overclocked 7970 at 710Khash.
It takes 0,365kw per hour (8,76 kwh per day @ 0,249€). for the HBN i get approx 0.02293100 BTC 0 2,06€ but my Powercosts are 2,18€.
So i will search for something else.
Does anyone make Profit here? i mean the 7970 is the newest card atm (exept 7990 which is hard to get)

damn, got this problem twice. http://hbn.zabmail.rui wanted to login again, and it says my account is locked contact site support, but there is no damn support email or ticket system!!!!!!! argh!!! anybody has the same. It happens when i follow the registration link, before it works. After i opened the account is locked. |

i updated to 0.74b and unistalled the old version before.
I also deleted the blockchain again.
Then i got stucked by the last 3 hours, it just stopped to sync.(2 conections)
Then i deleted the blockchain again, and let it sync for a while.(3 conections)
Now it just says out of sync without a hint at which block it got stuck.(4 conections)
Then i added the anoncoin.conf with additional nodes again,
and it says the sync got stuck at 77778 (2days).(1 conections)
tested again, now stuck at 77776.
I dont understand this strange behavior.

Odd. Seems like you're low on connections.. I'm guessing the problem is that the nodes you connect to haven't upgraded. And therefore you don't get new blocks. Try adding some manually into the anoncoin.conf: addnode=198.144.187.112 addnode=54.214.83.193 addnode=193.150.121.24 addnode=193.150.121.28 Anyway, could you provide OS version so we can try recreate the problem? I already had added these nodes. I just leaved the client 2 days offline, suprisingly it worked now. Is there a way to see with which nodes i am connected? (any console command?) greetings |

I think like the others before said, XRP should be removed.
I don't think that a 100% Premining is innovative, Fiat money had done this for centuries.
It is not good to give XRP such an attention by listing them in second place.

I managed to get the Client connected and stated the Client with the conf from first post.
My CPU Load is 100% but even after 2h nothing happend. (at the first start there was a curious thing it showed that i got 4x 2048 QRK from Mining, but they disapeared after the Blockchain was synced :-( )
I remember from other coins that for solo mining a file called minered is needed and for pool mining a special commandline miner is needed to connect to the pool.
That is where i got stuck i searched a lot on google and downloaded the 2 programs and used them like i know it from the other coins.
But it doesnt work because QRK uses other hashing.
Why is there no "getting startet" or a short hint site on that QRK pool, this is very disapointing.
What is the name of the hashing algo used for QRK? (which --flag should be used? its not sha256 or scrypt.)
So the where is the native windows Cpu miner for Pool mining (binary file), what is the name and where can i download it?
(found only linux+sources to compile for windows)
