This is a not a problem, it's easy to recompile with new OpenSSL (1.0.1g 7 Apr 2014), anyway SSL HeartBleed fix not so important because bitcoin based coin doesn't use OpenSSL vulnerable functions. I recompile the Windows version with this fix, Windows installer and release notes you can find here: https://github.com/testzcrypto/Animecoin/releases/tag/0.8.3.2Let's me know if everybody need the Mac version. All rest "X11 algo, with PoW and PoS" this is something which community should decide. Personally I don't see the reason to change algo to X11. Thank you! Downloaded ^^ |

Obrigado pelas dicas, DynhoSts e danielnovy, nunca usei a Poloniex. Vou criar uma conta pra testar. Na Basebit fiz uma conta, ainda não tive a oportunidade de usar. Por enquanto vou tentar meus setups com Altcoins, depois que me sentir mais à vontade tento uns com Bitcoins  Update do meu primeiro trade, com DRK. Depois da compra o preço chegou a subir para 0,01944 e voltou a recuar, mas meu ponto de "alijamento" estava em 0,0196 e nem foi tocado. Agora a DRK está em 0,0158, e como não tinha stop, os DRKs que comprei ontem acabaram por se tornar mais um Buy and Hold hehe. Vou tentar um novo setup com ponto de entrada em 0,0277. DRK mergulhou profundamente hoje: ao que parece os "whales" migraram da DRK para o pump da X11coin. Não duvido que agora que a XC está inchada comece seu dump, e migrem todos de volta para a DRK (agora muito barata, e com melhores "fundamentos"). In my opinion, DRK is currently being played by whales and day traders.
Modus operandi:
* Wait for DRK to reach 0.0140-0.0150
* Buy everything up to 0.0160
* Set a buy wall anywhere between 0.0150 and 0.0160 to pump up the price (100 BTC buy wall is a good bet)
* Wait for DRK to reach 0.0180
* Retract buy wall and dump
* Rinse & repeat

The #1 voted coin there has 1.34307475BTC. ANI is the 19th now, with 0.54039009BTC. A difference of 0.80268466BTC (803 votes).
If we coordinate the community, this number can be easily reached: If we get at least 10 people to vote, each paying 0,081BTC (81 votes each), that's done. It means 4,050,000ANI investment per person (with 10 people comming together for it).
The more people, the easier/cheaper for each person.
At the other hand, from the point of view of a Mintpal user, it is a good thing, because the more money Mintpal earns, the better their services will be (ideally).
If at least 9 other people join this effort, I participate with 81 votes (or the respective proportion, with more people in).
I suggest we coordinate this action for a weekend, as the voting winner is taken every Monday evening.

I run a Anime horror and a Anime SciFi cointest at scificointalk (and used to run a hentai contest at sexcoinforum) that worked out pretty well. Somehow i think something similar could be a good promotion for AnimeCoin also  Sure, I think Animecoin was designed with that in mind: "Animecoin includes concept for purchasing anime stuff, payments and donations in MMORPG (possible to exchange items of MMO between people), online services, and... A lot of others ways!". It is a very natural idea to run contests with prizes in Animecoin. Such prizes could be crowdfunded, for example. It could be used to pay for a service or product (for example a manga, a drawing, or a figure). Also, tipping a friend, or crowdfunding your favourite Mangaka. There are so many utilities for an anime community currency like Animecoin, that's why I believe in it. For all that to become reality Animecoin just depends on it's community. The more animecoins are spread among our community, more it will be adopted, more popular it will become, and more useful it will be. This coin definitely needs to be promoted more within the anime community at some high exposure events. Comicon would be spectacular. I can imagine someone at the door handing out those amazing paper wallets saying, "Welcome to comicon. Have some free Animecoin." I'm sure once more people find out about it, it'll explode! We have been giving focus to online actions, but real life actions are also really important. I have been introducing Animecoin to all my real life friends who are manga/anime fans. Some of them were very interested, and now even have an ANI wallet, but some were not very excited with it. Most of them (I'm from Brazil) haven't even heard about Bitcoin before I've shown them Animecoin/Altcoins/Bitcoin. The thing is: the more Bitcoin/Altcoins get popular, the easier it will be for the Animecoin Community to grow (there's a huge potential there). |

Guys didn't you thought about relaunch with less coins (millions, not billions)? I like anime myself, but investing in a coin with such supply it's red flag. No fud, just personal opinion.
The community should always discuss these issues and have a common decision. I think that the intention is keeping Animecoin affordable. That's why, I believe, the total of +1.976 billion ANI projected to be mined. |

Coincidentemente, no tópico da Darkcoin (que por sinal está uma montanha-russa) a Monero está sendo citada aqui: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg6958129#msg6958129 *por algum motivo, o tópico que citei foi editado sendo retirado o parágrafo que trata da Monero: basicamente afirmava que a Monero, assim como algumas outras criptomoedas que ali enumerou, são meros clones da Bytecoin, sem quaisquer diferenciais, motivando a conclusão daquele post de que não faria sentido investir em tais clones, que teriam (segundo ele ali afirma) a tendência de ser preteridas à Bytecoin (que lhes deu origem). Agora falando sobre a Darkcoin especificamente, ela pode até oferecer boas oportunidades de trade hoje, mas eu ficaria bem longe dela para médio/longo prazo, pelo comportamento dela nas exchanges tenho o palpite que existe um "grandão" manipulando os valores e preparando um dump. Até já levantaram essa possibilidade em outro tópico.
